    Incredible

Our wedding weekend was everything we hoped it would be. Huge thank you to Kelsey and Michael for coordinating everything for us and for being so easy to communicate with. We had the perfect day and my husband and I were able to focus on each other and our families without worrying about a thing all day, pure perfection.

We picked flowers down the road from Sleeping Lady the day before for all our table arrangements and my bouquet @ Roots Flowers and Produce.

Our photographers were also amazing and get all the photo credit: @ Anda Photography

I had both my ceremony and reception there. It was gorgeous! And the staff is amazing - I love Rachel and Michael was an amazing officiant. I highly recommend this place. I had a winter wedding (which was stunning! but summer weddings are wonderful too).
If you are looking for a great location with amazing support staff (and delicious food) choose Sleeping Lady!

We could not have hoped for anything better after we chose this venue. We were married at the Sleeping Lady on January 5th, in the snow! The Sleeping Lady has a beautiful meadow on their property that overlooks the Icicle Creek - however during the winter they let the snow pile up and wait until spring to manage it again. When we conacted them asking about our options, they volunteered to groom and prepare the meadow for us since we were adamant about an outdoor ceremony, and they even brought in hay bales for us. We paid a VERY reasonable fee for the bales and didn't have to do anything to organize that and our ceremony site was so perfect the day of the wedding. We held our reception indoors at the Salmon Gallery on the same property and everything was amazing. Catering was exactly on time as scheduled, the food was TO DIE FOR. We had an immense amount of compliments on our food. The Sleeping Lady provides a brides room with your space rental, and there is a honeymoon lodge on the property that was a gorgeous little retreat.
Most of our family opted to stay at least one night and breakfast is included with the room rates, so we got to enjoy amazing breakfast on site with our family both mornings we were there.
Thank you so much to Michael, who got us introduced to the property and was very helpful with arranging the initial contract; and then HUGE thanks to Rachel, who is the on-site coordinator and was willing to help us with the timing of our ceremony and was on top of EVERYTHING. We were never left disappointed, everything was meticulously cared for, and we had responses from Rachel immediately with any questions leading up to our event.
If you are looking for a destination spot outside of Seattle, like the idea of selecting a venue that your guests can stay at (plus they have an on-site bar!), and want awesome service... Call them and ask for Michael and Rachel!

I think every one of our guests commented positively on our venue. The food is organic, delicious and plentiful. We were assigned Rachel, one of their wedding planners, about a month before our wedding and she was a HUGE help with everything. We were planning our wedding while living abroad and this was a perfect way to do it - everything is contained onsite (rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, post-rehearsal hangout, prep, ceremony, photos, cocktail hour, reception, dinner, after-party and lodging) and they are pros. The one thing about Sleeping Lady is that the quality is definitely reflected in the cost. The rooms are fairly expensive, especially when they include breakfast in the morning (which all wedding accommodations do) and having a wedding here means that you will use most of their recommended vendors, especially to avoid corkage costs on wine. For us, it was absolutely worth the extra money, but our wedding did get more expensive than most of our other friends who are about our age (25-30).

    Magical destination wedding retreat

Our family was thrilled staying at Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort, and the dramatic scenery and wildlife made for an exceptional wedding venue; not to mention the world class kitchen. This was the perfect location for a balance of personal touches and convenience of a staff helping to plan the event. Our guests had their best weekend adventure, soaking up downtown Leavenworth, hiking the local trails, and relaxing by the hot tub and pool. And we had our perfect wedding with scenic backdrops, dog friendly for our ring bearer and delicious catering provided on site.

It's hard to explain how frustrating my experience was with the Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort as my communication spans a full year. I recently had my wedding at this venue and from the moment we stepped onto the grounds of the resort we knew we wanted to have our wedding ceremony and reception at this location. Unfortunately, after that initial moment of wonderment my love for the venue was ruined by the staff's inability to compromise or communicate as expected.

On several occasions, the front office staff could not complete a simple task and would hang up the phone or leave for the day before finishing my request. The group rate website option was a complete joke that rarely worked or had accurate information. Then in our initial walk through my now husband and I heard things promised to us that we were lady laughed at over later. I believe we were sold and taken advantage of by the Event Coordinator.

The chef is so high maintenance that he refuses to cook the food options that you have to choose from from their catering menu. So you are graciously offered a dinner in their high priced buffet but none of the things served are on the catering menu. I served food at my wedding that I had never even tasted or seen before. I found most of their food under-seasoned spice wise or ridiculously salty. When we explained our dissatisfaction with our first tasting to the staff, they were so flabbergasted that someone would disapprove of their menu they offered a full refund and said we might want to rethink our wedding at the Sleeping Lady. Keep in mind this was five months before our wedding. People had already booked rooms and deposits had been paid. I would have had to find a different place and plan my wedding in four months. They also do not provide anything plated as it goes against the buffet style they push.

Then during my wedding the sound shorted on music during dinner and the day of Event Coordinator had no clue what she was doing. I worked with
