We are so incredibly grateful to have had Skye as our wedding photographer. From the very beginning, she made us feel completely at ease. We had never taken professional photos before, but Skye turned what could have been an intimidating experience into something fun, natural, and genuinely enjoyable. Our engagement session felt effortless, and she brought out the best in us without ever making us feel posed or uncomfortable.
On our wedding day, Skye and Dayna were absolutely phenomenal. They were such a calming, joyful presence and seamlessly captured some of the most amazing and fun moments—many of our favorite photos are from the candid parts of the day outside the ceremony. Their energy, creativity, and attention to detail were beyond anything we could have hoped for.
We couldn’t be happier with our photos or our experience. Skye gave us memories we’ll cherish forever, and we cannot recommend her enough! -

We hired Skye as our planner and it was such a great decision! From the beginning, it was clear what we needed to do and when. She was great to bounce ideas off of, but was also receptive to what we wanted. Our day of coordinator, Heidi, was so kind and on top of it. She did so much behind the scenes, it was nice not having to worry about anything. Heidi also went above and beyond with dropping off my bouquet at Hudson Stems the Monday after the wedding. -

We feel incredibly lucky to have had Skye as our wedding videographer! From the very beginning, Skye was professional, warm, and genuinely excited to capture our day. She took the time to get to know us as a couple, listened to what mattered most to us, and made us feel completely at ease — both in the lead-up and on the big day itself.
On the day of the wedding, Skye and her partner blended in so seamlessly that we often forgot there was a camera around, yet they managed to capture the most intimate, emotional, and joyful moments without ever feeling intrusive. Skye’s calm presence was grounding, and she worked so well with our photographer and other vendors — a true team player!
The highlight video completely exceeded our expectations! The drone footage captured was extraordinary! Skye has a gift for storytelling; the way she edited everything together was not only beautiful, but also deeply personal. Every time we watch it, we are taken right back to the emotions of that day — the laughter, the happy tears, the little glances, and the energy of the people we love most. It's something we’ll treasure for the rest of our lives! We cannot thank her and her partner enough!

Do yourself a favor and hire Skye!
We were lucky enough to meet Skye at a bridal event at our wedding venue (Seminary Hill) and immediately fell in love with her effortless, dreamy work! She was an absolute gem, extremely flexible, responsive, and adaptable. We booked her to shoot our NYC courthouse wedding day first in lieu of traditional engagement photos as well as our larger ceremony this fall in the Catskills. My husband and I really wanted to prioritize candids and documentary style photos and Skye executed it perfectly (along with her wonderful assistant, Luke). We hired Skye as our day of coordinator for our wedding this past October. Skye did an AMAZING job—she is kind, supportive, honest, and incredibly knowledgeable. As someone who suffers from anxiety, Skye's support and constant reassurance made all of my worries go away. Knowing that Skye was there to have our backs and take care of it all, I felt I could truly relax and enjoy our special day. We had regular meetings with Skye, where she helped with so many aspects of the wedding day, and always offered advice and help when needed. She is easy to talk to, communicative (a huge plus), and gives great suggestions! She completely took care of things like the rehearsal and vendor communication, which was incredibly helpful for us. Skye regularly went above and beyond for us, including running back to our hotel during the wedding because we forgot our marriage certificate LOL! Skye also set us up with her videographer, Lucas, who is so kind and friendly, and he made us feel so comfortable throughout the day. For the wedding video, Skye did the editing, and we can say with 100% confidence that it was the best money we spent for our wedding. Our video left us speechless—Skye and Lucas knew exactly how to capture our love and all of the special moments of the day (and it was put together so spectacularly). If you're unsure if you need a day of wedding coordinator, know that if you hire Skye, not only will you have piece of mind on your wedding day from an expert in the field, you will also make a wonderful friend in the process. Perfect wedding photographers!
We were so lucky to be able to book Skye's team for our wedding. Skye wasn't able to be there herself, but she referred us to Dayna, who was an absolute delight to work with during the wedding and beyond. Our photos are so gorgeous that it took us months just to figure out what we wanted prints of! The team was very professional and super fun and made the portrait sessions so much more enjoyable for us. I highly recommend booking Skye for your event! -

Could not be happier!
My husband and I absolutely loved working with Skye and her team for our wedding. Skye was incredibly professional and I felt so genuinely comfortable having her in my house and with us for the entirety of our wedding day. She was easy to work with in all the planning stages, and answered all of the questions my overthinking mind could come up with. Working with her during the course of the day was so much fun and she had such creative ideas that didn't take away from the traditional elegant vibe I was going for. Her pictures in the end were absolutely stunning. I have had so many compliments on both her professionalism and the quality of her work. I cannot recommend Skye and her team enough.

Skye and her team were absolutely incredible to work with. We were so so happy we had her as our photographer throughout the whole journey. She and her team were kind, flexible, thoughtful, and very fun to be around the whole wedding weekend, making everyone feel so comfortable. Our photos captured everything we care about, and are more special to us than we could have predicted. Skye and her team took beautiful shots of us, our beloved dog, our adorable nieces and nephew, our whole family dancing with our 98 year old grandma, our friends having an absolute blast on the dance floor, and our parents watching our ceremony. The photos are gorgeous and are very natural looking, which is exactly why we asked Skye to be our photographer in the beginning and what we asked for throughout. Skye is the best and we'd recommend completely!! -

Skye and her team are fantastic! We worked with Dayna, and her day of team, and they were just amazing! From start to finish, Skye and Dayna were lovely, professional, thoughtful and extremely knowledgeable! We aren't the kind of couple who is used to having our picture taken, but Dayna made us feel completely comfortable, and I think it really showed in our pictures! We really wanted a lot of candid shots of our day and Dayna delivered, and more! We also had a list of some shots we wanted to make sure were taken, along with friend groups we wanted to snag pics of, during the reception and Dayna somehow made EVERY ONE OF THEM happen. Additionally, she somehow did all of this with flexibility and stealth! haha We hardly noticed the cameras, but at the same time never felt like Dayna was far away; we truly felt like we could be completely present, and not worry at all about moments being captured. Booking Skye, and Dayna, was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! I would book them again in a heartbeat. If they are available for your day, BOOK THEM; you will not be disappointed! -

From start to finish, Skye's team was phenomenal! On the day of, we worked with Dayna and she was a dream! She, and her team, were incredibly sweet, supportive and professional. They captured EVERY moment we could have thought of, and more, and somehow we only saw them when they gathered us for photos. We aren't used to having our pictures taken so we were a little nervous, but Dayna made us so comfortable and the pictures turned out better than we could have imagined! I CANNOT recommend Syke and her team anymore! They made our day unforgettable and now we have the most beautiful pictures which will last a lifetime. -

Starting off by saying that during a pandemic, I was never worried about my photographer. Skye was always in contact with us, updating us and asking questions. We always knew what to expect and we can't even begin to say how pleased we are with our pictures and video. We feel our day was captured perfectly. Skye was phenomenal to work with from start to end and even helped us outside of our wedding video!
With so much that has happened this year, my husband and I knew we needed as much footage of our special day as possible. It also was perfect to send to the family who could not join us this summer for our intimate gathering. From the moment we spoke on the phone Skye helped us reflect on some of the details we hadn't considered for our wedding and gathered as much information to make the video exactly what we wanted. Then when we finally did meet a few days before, she walked us through some of the ideal spots to help us make the most of our time together and get the dreamiest footage. After our prep-visit, she offered me recommendations for a last minute hair and make up artist in the area. SUCH A LIFE-SAVER as the previous artist I had booked canceled 4 days before the wedding!! Her recommendations for the video and for the salon artist were wonderful. The day of our wedding, she was on time and professional. She captured all of the important moments and was so comfortable to be around. I was worried with such a small crowd (12 people) and spacious atmosphere there would be some awkwardness but all of our guests said afterwards they felt safe and comfortable with the entire situation. The final product was perfect and keeps us smiling to this day. Thank you Skye for ensuring our day is one we will never forget. -

We had to cancel our destination wedding due to COVID. We reached out to Skye with hopes of her photographing our small backyard wedding. She was super responsive, professional, and accommodating. The day of the wedding I definitely had the jitters, but she helped make both my husband and my self feel comfortable and confident taking photos. My husband and I were stunned when we received our pictures a few weeks later! She really captured all the special moments throughout the day. -

Stacey Sent on 04/11/2018We’ve been thinking about how to express the way we feel about our daughters wedding pictures. When we look at them, it’s like unwrapping a precious gift. Speaking from the heart, know that Skye will find every beautiful moment you hope to see photographed ... and many others that you hadn’t thought of. She captured so many memories, and there’s so much emotion that shows through in her work. Skye is always looking for something beautiful, and she makes everyone feel so comfortable. Her talent and artists eye, captured every moment of that day. Through her work we are able to re-live our daughter and son in laws wedding day, and will be able to for all of our lives. Our daughter is very creative and has unique tastes, and Skye understood exactly the vibe she was looking for in her wedding photographs. All the photos came out so beautiful, and our daughter and son in law are thrilled with them. Skye is professional, calm, and creative. We highly recommend her to anyone who is thinking about doing professional photos. Choosing and trusting a photographer is a hard decision, but if you choose Skye D Photography you have made a choice that you will be so happy with !!

As if getting married wasn’t enough for us to concentrate on, we sold our house and were in the process of moving right before the wedding. Skye was so patient and flexible while we took our time making decisions. We were so impressed with how quickly she turned around our video (weeks ahead of our photographer.) The video brought tears to my eyes the first time we watched it. She captured every moment perfectly! It was all we could have asked for! As our family grows I plan on using Skye for all of our exciting life moments!

Katie Sent on 11/05/2017I can’t say enough about Skye. My husband and I Did not want a huge fancy wedding, however having awesome pictures to capture this moment was so important to us. We decided to get married and have a small party at our favorite restaurant. Skye went out of her way to go to the restaurant prior to the wedding to discuss details with the owner to make sure we had the best pictures possible for the ceremony, which completely put me at ease. We so much appreciated all the effort she put in to make sure we got want we wanted. After the ceremony, we took a walk with Skye throughout the town to take pictures and had so much fun. It felt like we were hanging out with an old friend, which really helped us to relax and enjoy. She captured some beautiful moments and I’m so grateful to have those memories. I would completely recommend Skye for any occasion.

Kerri Sent on 07/09/2017My husband and I chose Skye as our wedding photographer after being recommended to her by a friend of ours. We could not have asked for anyone better. From our first meeting with Skye, we knew her easy-going personality would make her a great fit for us. An engagement session was included in our package, and despite several unforeseen issues (the first two locations we tried to use were closed!) Skye always had a back up plan and in the end our photo’s came out amazing. My husband and I are not fans of being in front of the camera, but Skye completely put us at ease. The day of our wedding, which was supposed to be outdoors, it poured rain all day. Skye was determined not to let that limit the photographs we took, and made sure to sneak us out for a few shots every time the rain let up for a few minutes. When we got our wedding photos back, we were blown away! Skye captured so many candid moments, and we will cherish these memories forever. We would highly recommend Skye and her team to anyone getting married, and we look forward to having her capture many more happy memories as our family grows! -

We knew that it was such an important aspect to the wedding process since they are the items that bring you back to all of the great memories of that day! We decided to do our engagement pictures with Skye in order to get a feel for her style and if we connected with her. We were a little nervous to be "models" but Skye was so down to earth and made it SO easy for us. When we saw how great the pictures came out, it was an easy decision to book her for our wedding :) Skye and her assistant were prompt on the day of and got right to work. She has such a creative eye and she makes it so you forget she is there sometimes! Which is definitely a plus since posing for photos all day can get annoying. She captured the important moments and the sentimental ones so perfectly. She also has great poses that she suggests to us which made it a lot easier. We were BLOWN away by how the pictures came out. Our friends and family could not believe how great they were. One friend said that they looked as if they were the amazing pictures you see on Pinterest. We HIGHLY recommend her! -

Whenever I emailed Sky with a question or concern, she always got back to me very quickly and answered any questions that I had. Working with the both of them on our wedding day was an absolute breeze. Despite the rain and fog Skye found a way to make the photographs exquisite. I'm very pleased with the our wedding photos and would absolutely recommend Skye to a friend! I can't wait to see the video!
