Fun and good photographer.

She was a sweet and fun photographer that did some good pictures for the wedding I was in (I was a bridesmaid) and also made us laugh along the way. There were a couple of times she made the bridesmaid blush and laugh. Overall, would definitely recommend. Sweet and fun Australian lady.

Wedding Photographer Review_Sky Simone

Sky did amazingly as our wedding photographer! I was extremely impressed with her positive attitude, professionalism, flexibility, and communicativeness. Ourselves and our guests regularly commented on how on top of things she was as she got everyone into position and ensured we met our timeline. Also, we were all impressed by her commitment to get the shot as she seemed to be prone on the ground or rolling around half the day!
You can't go wrong with Sky. Highly recommended.

Wedding and Trash the Dress Shoot Review

Sky did both our wedding and trash the dress photoshoots. For the trash the dress day, since the beginning, she was full of excitement and ideas thus encouraging creativity and resulting in a unique experience and shoot. I love that she went with our wacky idea and prepared with plenty of pre-shoot pose ideas which enhanced the photoshoot and results. Sky's preparation with pose ideas and the vision of the shoot definitely helped the flow of things. My idea was to have a wedding dress mermaid transformation in the ocean. Being a public beach can come with a lot of distractions, so having Sky locked in with a plan was amazing. We love our wacky and beautiful pictures. Thank you again Sky for a wonderful experience!

She's your ride or die that'll bring the positivity and quality that'll blow your mind!

We loved having Sky as our photographer/videographer! Not only was she professional, reliable, talented, and reasonable, but also kind, compassionate, and so so sweet! There was some crazy drama that flared up on our wedding day (as most people deal with lol) and she handled it expertly. She was so genuinely determined to redeem our day and make us feel special, her efforts made a real difference. She prayed over us and everything she did was so helpful! We got some beautiful photos and videos to cherish forever. She went above and beyond as a photographer. We couldn't as for anyone better! We still check in with each other over the phone, that's how wonderful she is. Thanks Sky!

A+ Photographer!

I was so impressed by Sky's professionalism and downright commitment to getting what her website promises: unique and exciting photography. She was willing to sacrifice her body to get interesting angles. She showed up wearing stylish work boots and I found out why; she was constantly on her feet. She spent an entire day and the following morning photographing our daughter's wedding and beach shots going to five different locations and I never saw her sit down or take a rest. Incredible work ethic and dedication to her craft. And of course, I couldn't write this unless the end product was good quality photographs.

Great photographer, great direction

Sky was a great photographer. I was a bridesmaid in my friend’s wedding and Sky really helped with the production of the wedding. She kept to time tables, and really helped coordination. We had three areas (in one day) where we were taking photos. She even was there the day before the wedding to take video and photos. The photos turned out incredible, she really has an artists eye. I also need to stress, as a wedding photographer she kept her cool the entire time. She made it fun for the bridal party and had a smile on her face the entire time.

Amazing photographs and costumer service

Sky not only took beautiful photographs but accommodated to all of our needs. She came the day before to our church and we were able to take photographs with our family and my daughter in her wedding gown without the rush of the wedding day. On the day of the wedding, Sky took some photos with the reflection of the church's glass vitrails making some very special and different takes that my daughter absolutely loved. Thank you for creating these memories on such a special day.

The Best Day Captured in the Best Way!

Sky captured our wedding day in the most beautiful way possible! I am in love with the images she took! Working with her was so enjoyable and she took incredible photos! The best photographer we could have asked for

Sky did an amazing job! She was very professional but also made our wedding day so much fun. The pictures were beautiful and she got them back very quickly. She captured everything perfectly! Sky Simone is absolutely amazing!! She did the photography for our daughters wedding and we couldn’t have been more THRILLED with the final product she provided! She was totally professional. She arrived on time and went above and beyond to capture the perfect pictures for our family. She is skilled in photoshop as well. Outstanding service!

Sky took all the photographs for our daughters wedding. She was very professional and the photos came out spectacular! She has an eye for capturing the moments for sure. Sky actually wasn’t feeling well the day of the wedding but she showed up anyway! She never complained and went above and beyond what we could have asked for! She is a professional but she also loves what she does cause you see it in her work! She takes the shots of capturing moments. I met her at my son’s wedding in which she did a wonderful job. She did our family portraits which consisted of about 30, plus she did each individual family. So now she is our family photographer!

Sky is great!

We found and hired Sky by referral from a friend whose wedding she photographed when they eloped to Las Vegas. Now located in Georgia, we loved her work so much that we hired her for our Rhode Island wedding nearly a year in advance of our big day. As fate would have it, she was nearly nine months pregnant when our date finally rolled around. Even so, she never once complained about making the more than thousand mile trip each way, or the more than 12 hours on her feet that day. She even brought an extra photographer as well as her husband to help out at no extra cost to us.

Sky was very responsive (same day, usually within an hour) to all questions we had over the course of the year leading up to the wedding. She was also very reasonably priced compared to most photographers in our area, which allowed us to buy an extra video package we would not have otherwise been able to afford but in hindsight are so happy we got.

Above all, the quality of Sky's work speaks for itself. Before we hired her I had no idea certain photographers could stand so head and shoulders above others, but now that I do I couldn't ever trust such a big day or moment to just anyone. I would recommend Sky without reservation to capture your priceless and precious life moments.

I still sometimes cry tears of joy watching back our wedding video and flipping through our album, and I know I always will. The best moments from the best day of my life will always be with me thanks to someone who is not only great at what she does, but also someone who has become a friend with whom we still keep in touch.

The best of the best

Sky is undeniably talented and the most creative mind I’ve ever met. She went above and beyond what any other photographer has to offer. Not only did she take the most amazing pictures - candid, quirky, silly, piercingly beautiful photos - she drove 16 hours to Rhode Island to shoot our wedding and spent 2 full days with us, capturing thousands of photos and hours of video footage. You can’t get that of service anywhere,and certainly not for the price that she offers.

If you’re looking for a unique way to remember your wedding day, Sky is your person. Using all the photos she had taken, the true artist in her turned them into a stop motion video. I’ve never seen anything like it before.

And on top of all that, she put together the MOST amazing wedding video for us to relive our day over and over.

The "Sky" is the limit!

Sky is such an amazing, creative, and talented individual. She works with the client to ensure that their vision is achievable. Sky has a natural talent for photography and I can't recommend her highly enough. She has quirky ideas that can turn an otherwise daunting situation into something fun and memorable for the whole family; her sessions are an experience and this is something that is rare in this field.

Unique and Inspiring

Sky is a wonderful, professional photographer with original, inspiring ideas! Our wedding photographs were taken after our actual wedding, and we absolutely love them. The kicker? We were incredibly impressed with Sky! She was easy to work with and very patient. She made sure my daughter and her husband were happy. She captured their personalities perfectly and got all the special moments on video. She was prompt in getting us the videos and even took photos of the wedding day. We highly recommend Sky! SKY IS AMAZING!!!! She got some amazing footage for our wedding day! She paid attention to all the little details and captured them perfectly! Our wedding highlight video was stunning and perfect for posting on social media for family members and friends to see who couldn’t come to the wedding! I’m so happy to have all of our special memories on video! She also did a great job capturing our personalities. We are kinda silly and love to have fun! It definitely shows in the video! I was happy she didn’t try to make us into something we’re not! We were extremely pleased with Sky and her videos! ❤️

Amazing fun relaxed wedding photographer

Sky is amazing at what she does, she makes you laugh so your smiles are real! She is down to earth and relaxed which is what we wanted in a photographer. Sky was nothing but spectacular to us for our wedding. She did not only one, but TWO engagement shoots for us. We were originally supposed to be married in Mexico in Oct. 2015, but had to evacuate due to Hurricane Patricia. We ended up having our ceremony in May 2016 in San Diego. She did two shoots for us, was so fun and creative for our ceremony and reception and she performed cinematography for the entire event, too! We LOVE Sky and will refer her over and over, anytime, any place, ALWAYS! Thank you for everything Sky.

Sky is AMAZING! From the moment I met her I knew she was the one for us. She is so happy, fun, energetic, enthusiastic, chatty, kooky, the list goes on. She was so laid back which made us feel comfortable and our photos turned out amazing! Super thrilled with Sky's work. We met her in Vegas and she shot our wedding photos and video. Best ever! I love my highlight video! My husband and I couldn't be happier. She made each shoot so comfortable and we all just laughed and had a wonderful time together. Sky was a godsend for us. My wife and I had to be evacuated from our dream destination wedding due to a hurricane, so we were left to plan a second wedding in San Diego. This would be a sad story except this allowed us to meet Sky who helped us build our true dream wedding.

She is extremely talented but really more of an artist. Our portfolio was a variety of funny, sweet, beautiful. I honestly didn’t know we could take photos like these. She also goes above and beyond to make sure you’re happy as a customer. Thank you Sky! It was an honor working with you!

I can’t recommend Sky enough! We actually live in MA and were eloping to Vegas and were in need of a photographer. We came across Sky’s website and immediately fell in love with her style of photography. Her pictures are seriously amazing and were exactly what we were looking for! She was super easy to work with, super friendly, and made the picture taking process (which we dread) a pleasant experience. When we have a baby or another big life event, we will be flying her here to us in MA because I just can’t get enough of her style! We enjoyed her company so much that we ate dinner with her two nights in a row and have stayed in touch with her. I CANNOT RECOMMEND HER ENOUGH GUYS. People compliment our pictures and the style of her photography every time we show them to a new person. BOOK HER NOW!

Sky is AMAZING! She's such a fun and talented photographer. She did a wonderful job with our engagement and wedding photos. Sky was so wonderful to have shoot our wedding and engagement photos. We found her online, and almost last minute. One month out from our date. We set up our shoot quickly as time was racing at us. The atmosphere was very relaxed so my wife and I could truly be in the moment, and be captured by her. Sky has a very unique personality and can be seen within her photos she takes. I can’t comment on any video services, as we opted out of this, but what I have seen looks to capture even more of the fun! Since our wedding was small she stepped out and helped out showing she was really caring about us on our day. Thank you for the photos, and thank you for everything else you did!

Sky is very talented and is a very genuine and caring person. I sent Sky an e-mail shortly after my fiancé and I decided to get married in Las Vegas and she replied within 20 minutes. Within a few e-mails back and forth that evening I felt that I did not have to look for any other vendors. Prior to finding Sky, I had filled out a lot of contact forms with other photographers and I felt like none of them had actually read what I filled out. Their e-mail back to me would ask me things that I had already given information about. With Sky, she actually took the time out to read everything I wrote. She also asked questions about me and my fiancé. No one else had really done that before. This definitely set Sky apart from everyone else.

I was first drawn to Sky's work because it is colorful and fun. I saw that Sky also offers stop motion films. I loved how whimsical Sky's stop motion videos are. I love that she makes the wedding rings and shoes dance across the screen. I had finally found a video style that felt like me.

Sky is super patient. I am so awkward in front of a camera! Sky would just talk to us and make me feel at ease. I am glad Sky insisted on the engagement shoot and I have a lot of really lovely photos. I am glad that I have a nice mixture of photos from our wedding trip. My husband was so impressed with the amount of time that Sky spent with us. Everyone has been blown away by our stop motion video and our photos. She spent a lot of time with us on our wedding day. We started the day around 7am and ended around 8pm. Not once did Sky complain. We were practically on our feet the whole day bouncing from location to location.She kept us on track and made sure that I had all the shots that I pinned from Pinterest recreated.

Sky did a wonderful job with our newborn photos. She did a variety of poses so we had quite a selection to choose from. She gave us some suggestions on ideal conditions to help the photography run smoothly for our baby and even came to our home so our family was comfortable.She was flexible with the needs of a baby and gave us plenty of time to ensure we got the best photographs possible. Having Sky Simone Photography + Film record so many special moments at my son's week end wedding meant that we could enjoy the moments instead of trying to look through our own camera lens. The results are candid, quirky and full of fun. Nothing is too much trouble and if you are lucky Sky joins in some of the fun activities too when she has a moment. I love her work so much that my husband & I had Sky take some special photos of us 12 months later - the results are fabulous and our fun loving characters were captured beautifully. Sky was a wonderful addition to our wedding! I planned it on short notice, but that didn't seem to phase her. She has a wonderful personality that draws people towards her and brought out a funnier side to my wedding party, which is exactly what I was hoping for. Not only was the day of fantastic, but she kept in touch and had a sneak peek ready within a week and the whole folder of photos to us within a few weeks. Sky is a one of a kind photographer in that she doesn't just take pictures, but finds a perfect balance between beauty and asthetics in order to truly make her work into art.
Her out-of-the-box ideas, coupled with her quirky sense of persepctive, allows her to look through her lens and strike a perfect balance between her subject and it's environment.

When Sky took photo's on our wedding day, she challenged us to do things we hadn't done before, and to trust in her artistic talent; and we are so glad we did!
The comments and responses we have gotten on those photos, leave all others in the dusk. This is the subtle, albeit, powerful difference with Sky Simone.

She was also kind enough to shoot live videos for us at the event. The videos are now our go-to clips when showing off the fun we had that day as they are so magnificently done.

If we could give her 6 stars we easily would; for her professionalism, her artist style, and her kind and friendly smile.

Sky is a vibrant professional who is very flexible and works to your concepts and schedules.

Being a camera phobic bride, I was a little hesitant to hire a videographer. However after my first meeting with Sky, I felt super comfortable with her as she was extremely down to earth and easy to talk to. I continued to feel this way on the wedding day despite having cameras present through the way she worked. My husband and I, found her to be unobtrusive with her filming. Sky was a lot of fun to work with and we were truly impressed with the video she created for us.

We found Sky to be very creative yet open to trying the ideas we put forward. I must say that in the end we loved the photos Sky suggested much better than our own ideas! If you want unique photos whilst having fun then Sky is the photographer for you. I love her outlook and ideas.
Her price is great and the fact you get ALL photos is awesome. We couldn't be happier with them. I would also recommend getting a stop motion it is such a creative idea.

Sky was one of the BEST decisions I made for our wedding (besides my husband). After first meeting her I knew she would capture our day perfectly, and she certainly delivered!! We first did an engagement shoot, which not only captured a lot of fun, but some very beautiful photos (later used in our signing book!) As our wedding photographer we received an amazing choice of high quality, professional photos and had such fun on the day! Sky's bubbly personality made it easy to relax in front of the camera. We also asked Sky to provide us with a stopmotion photography, as we had decided against a videographer...that was money very well spent, it completely summed up our day in a perfect little package. If you are considering this, do it! I cannot describe how much I loved it! We also hired a photobooth for our wedding (also through sky) and it made the night so much more fun! Since then, we have booked Sky in for not one but two family portrait sessions...and hope to do more! She always seems to be in tune with what we want, and we are always happy to try some of her more creative piccys...as we trust her that they will look amazing!

Skye was a pleasure to work with, see was enthusiastic about our wedding from our first meeting which was a great difference from some of the other photographers we had checked out. She was open to new ideas and doing things a little differently and followed the brief we gave her, she made suggestions on how we could make the most of the time we had and worked quickly and efficiently, my large bridal party all got on well with her and she was funny and personable all day. She surprised us by having photos of the wedding editing and up on her blog the next day and we had our final images really quickly as well. Skye was great value for money and was able to work various obstacles that arose due to my husband working away, unusual locations and a large bridal party. I have and would recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer that is able to capture the happiness and brightness of there big day.

I am a pretty shy person and I don't normally wear dresses so on my wedding day with Andre, I was feeling really anxious about all eyes being on me. They were going to be, of course as I was the bride. When I was choosing a photographer & videographer, I looked at many, many online galleries and the feeling I got were that a lot of the pictures and poses seemed really stuffy and even a bit boring. Then I found sky simone and I thought her work was imaginative, playful and captivating. On the day of the shoot, I was nervous as expected but Sky's engaging and vibrant personality really brought me out of my shell. She was friendly, professional and creative and directed Andre and I in a way we felt comfortable and at ease.
And when the camera finally stopped flashing, Andre and I realized that this was one of the most fun parts of our wedding day.

Sky had great ideas and was very initiative with guiding us and the guests through the day. Often you as the wedding couple don't have an idea or the time to think about best locations or times for photos etc. Sky was a perfect guide with very arty ideas. We very much appreciated the stop-motion movie she has done for us - worth every dollar spent!

Sky was extremely professional and made our wedding party feel comfortable and relaxed so we didn't feel there was any intrusion at all.

Had a fantastic photoshoot with Sky, lots of fun and flexible enough to go with the flow and try different things depending on the mood and location at the time. really easy to shoot with and have a laugh at the same time.
