  We are so happy we chose Skips as our florist for our wedding. They made the most beautiful bouquets, boutonnières, and centerpieces i ever saw!! Everything was delivered right on time and with no issues. Thank you Stella for going above and beyond to make this a pleasant experience for us in times of high stress.   Gerome at Skips went above and beyond to do our centerpieces for our wedding! I told him what I wanted and the price I was looking to spend and he designed them exactly how I wanted within my budget. People were raving about them all night and are still talking about them 3 weeks later. He is fabulous and recommend him to anyone who is looking for any floral needs!

  When my mother and I first came into Skip's Florist, we were blown away. We sat down with Jerome and he told us everything there is to know about flowers. He was absolutely passionate about what he does. It was refreshing to sit with someone who is so knowledgeable about what he does. After sitting down with Jerome, we met with Stella. She was fabulous! They both really cared about what I wanted and visioned for my wedding. A few days before the wedding, we were able to see the flowers for the wedding because they had just arrived that morning. They allowed me to put a few final touches on what my bouquets will look like. The day of the wedding (9/25/15) when the bouquets arrived, I was amazed on how stunning these looked. I was in awe that these flowers looked the way they did. Everything was perfect! The boutonnieres for the groomsmen & fathers, the corsages for the mothers, the toss bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets and of course my bouquet (bride). I highly recommend Skip's Florist to anyone looking for beautiful flowers & outstanding service at a reasonable price for their wedding or event.

  We used Skips for our wedding August 1 and loved how everything came out! Stella is super easy to work with and she made my vision come to life exactly how I described it. It was even more amazing than I could of imagined. Thanks again for our beautiful centerpieces, bouquets and decorations. We will definitely be using Skips again.

  I got so many compliments on all the flowers all I had to do was show a picture they created what I desired perfectly! . Customer service there was fabulous and made me feel welcomed where the other two places I went were rude. So when I Wales into skips I was a happy camper

  Skips Florist was beyond great. They captured our every idea, and brought it to fruition. Michelle made the process very easy and stress free. We felt as if we weren't just treated like a client but more like family and friends. We can't say enough of good things about Skips. They were just simply amazing.   Stella was amazing to work with, I trusted her and she did not let me down! My mother gave her a budget and she came in under the budget! it was amazing to deal with Stella, and the morning that she delivered my flowers, I was speechless!!! Everything came together so beautifully!! She met our expectations above and beyond!!! I will recommend everyone I know to them!!!

  Skips Florist is the best florist in Toms River. They made me beautiful flowers for my wedding. My bouquet was beautiful. My centerpieces were flawless. And they did exactly what I wanted. They delivered the flowers exactly where they needed to be and they set up everything for me so I had nothing to worry about. I would recommend Skips to anyone who is getting married in the Toms River area. You will not be disappointed.

Since I don't know a lot about flowers, they had excellent suggestions and showed tons of samples of pictures of previous work and even real bouquets from an upcoming wedding. They are very experienced in weddings and it showed in every step of the process. Stella worked within our budget and communicated well with us through email. All of our bouquets were GORGEOUS and matched my color scheme. The centerpieces were well beyond my expectations. So elegant and so creative! We love that we were able to rent an arch and pedestals for our ceremony. Stella, Sandy and staff, I can't thank you enough for all you did to make our wedding a magical event - we are thrilled and will share pictures soon :) Lindsay & Michael Termini

  I found Skip's through a family member of mine and I am so glad I did. From the minute I met Stella, I knew her spunky personality was going to flow just great with mine. I went in knowing everything I wanted and had no idea that what I said I wanted.. would be given to me ten times more beautifully than I imagined it. I had 10 bridesmaids, 10 groomsman, a flower girl, ring bearer, as well as family members that needed flowers. I had the most gorgeous trellis made of greens and flowers with star fish and sand dollars. It made my beach themed wedding truly come to life. She was able to create a floral dream at a small yacht club in ocean county. My flowers had sunflowers, a tribute to my mother who had passed, and perfect other flowers. They did not wilt or fade until well into the week that followed the wedding. my husband and I could not have been more thrilled with our floral arrangements. Gorgeous the entire day!

  I only needed 2 bouguets and 2 boutonnieres for my wedding, but Stella treated me no differently than if I were ordering much more.
  The flowers were fresh and gorgeous and the designs perfect for my needs. Everything was very reasonably priced and arrived right on time, despite roads being closed due to a parade. I would recommend Skips for all of your floral needs.

  My family has used Skips for various occasions since they opened. As I was working with a very modest budget, the only flowers that I got from Skips was my bouquet and my husband's boutonniere. Originally, I had my wedding flowers fully planned with Skips but had to scale it back significantly (and also change the wedding date) and the florists were more than willing to work with me. They had my flowers ready and packaged early for me to pick up. The flowers were gorgeous and my flowers were able to survive the gale force winds on the beach that evening and were still alive and beautiful more than a week later. Skips did not try to make me purchase more flowers than I needed (as some of the other florists in the area tried to do) and did not make me feel guilty by cutting out almost all of my flowers from my original order. I would definitely work with them again.

  I worked with Stella at Skip's Florist for our bouquets. I was set on a purple/white flower theme. Stella and her husband brought that vision to life with a mix of daisies, calla lilies, and lisianthus. During our first meeting, Stella was absolutely fabulous and took the time to show us what different flowers looked like together by quickly arranging mock bouquets. She provided alternatives that would be more affordable based on what I told her I wanted, as we were on a tight budget. Our bouquets turned out absolutely gorgeous!

  I worked with Stella at Skip's Florist for our bouquets. I was set on a purple/white flower theme. Stella and her husband brought that vision to life with a mix of daisies, calla lilies, and lisianthus. During our first meeting, Stella was absolutely fabulous and took the time to show us what different flowers looked like together by quickly arranging mock bouquets. She provided alternatives that would be more affordable based on what I told her I wanted, as we were on a tight budget. Our bouquets turned out absolutely gorgeous!

  They WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE from an owner. Visited Skip's on Saturday Dec. 23rd to order a few funeral pieces for my father. After placing order for a casket spray, rosary, and a small wreath with a very nice woman (Apologize didn't remember her name) I asked her is there any discounts available? She said very nicely to me I will have to ask the owner. The owner was sitting 20 feet away at a desk (talking about something other than business load enough for customers to here) I asked if she could. She walked over to the owner and asked the owner (Older man wearing a flannel shirt). He looked her in the face (Acted like we weren't at the counter and said "The costs of flowers are very high this year, IT IS WHAT IT IS!" The nice woman came back very apologetic. We paid the bill and left. Than we arrive at the funeral home to see what we paid for. Should have went to Shop Rite for the funeral pieces. Flowers were falling out of wreath during the viewing. Unbelievable! I get it is a business and the word profit is not a bad word, however knowing a few people in the industry over the years I know that weddings and funerals are the most lucrative for florists. I am not even mad about the price. I would have appreciated THE OWNER to stand up and walk over to the counter and say to me. Unfortunately, I don't have any movement in the price I do apologize. NOT IT IS WHAT IT IS....... I guess when you have been in business as long as them you don't need to treat customers like you need them to pay your rent. Especially new customers, That was my 1st and last experience with Skip's. Probably doesn't need my biz anyway, has to much!
