Sam, I can't begin to express in words how wonderful I felt on my wedding day. Not only did I look amazing but my bridal party raved about their makeup. They loved that you personalized to each of them what they wanted and what would look best. Plus you accomplished something I haven't been able to do my whole life, get my mother to wear make up and love it! The Mother's of the Bride and Groom were glowing!!! I can't thank you and Ashley enough for supporting all us on our wedding day. You did a superb job and each of have been passing along your contact info to several friends. Most importantly you have become a wonderful friend to me as well so I sincerely thank you as I couldn't have asked for more for my wedding. Thank you!

Sam is literally the best. She had been (and may still be) part of a team that does both wedding hair and makeup, but she does makeup on her own as well. When I saw her work and all of the positive reviews mentioning her, it didn’t matter as much who I had working on my hair, but I HAD to have her do my makeup. I booked her through her own business and couldn’t be happier. Not only is she super talented, she is so fun to be around. She didn’t bat an eye (heh) when I mentioned the day of my wedding I wanted to change the color scheme of my eye makeup, and did such a great job. I also made the change to have fake lashes put on, which I have never worn in my life. She suggested maybe not because it might bother me, and I very much appreciated her honesty rather than taking the extra money and letting me just deal with it haha. I had her apply them, and it didn’t bother me at all the whole day, she’s awesome like that. All the makeup stayed on all day for all of us, except maybe the lipstick but that was totally expected and she had smartly suggested to bring our own for touchups later in the night!

Sam did an amazing job with the wedding make up for my bridesmaids and me on 5/9/15. I absolutely loved the look she was able to provide for my wedding day. My mom, sisters, and friends have nothing but amazing things to say about the make up she did for them as well. Everyone looked gorgeous!

Sam provided my wedding party and I with makeup. Amazing! She is truly an artist! She knows what to do without any direction. She is great! I would highly recommend her to anyone that is getting married and wants to look flawless on their wedding day. She also did my makeup for my friends wedding this past weekend. Again amazing!

Sam did my sisters wedding makeup and I fell in love with her work. Sam is a true artist and knows how to make every girl flawless she beautiful. My dream was to have Sam do my makeup for my wedding day and when I asked her if she was available she was! My dream came true and I felt absolutely stunning as a bride on my wedding day. I never felt more beautiful and its all because of Sam.

I absolutely loved working with Sam. She really has a passion for helping people look and feel beautiful and it comes through when you talk with her. She was very responsive and professional every time I spoke with her. Everyone complimented me on my makeup which was really natural looking but still made me look made-up enough for such a big event.
She is such a friendly person and so easy to get along with it put me at ease in the morning getting ready. It was so nice having her there!

I worked with Sam to plan and do my make up for my wedding and she was AMAZING. I heard about her through a cousin and was not disappointed. The pricing was affordable and the results were beautiful. From the start Sam was attentive, organized, very sweet and was just a nice person to be around. She kept me calm on the day of when I was starting to stress about time and made sure that every eye lash was in place at exactly when I wanted to be done. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her and would recommend her to everyone!!!

Sam did a beautiful job on my wedding makeup and she is a pleasure to work with. Prior to my wedding, she had done my makeup twice before- my friend's wedding and my sister's wedding. All three experiences were absolutely perfect. We all looked fabulous for my wedding and Sam did an excellent job of giving everyone exactly what they wanted. My mother-in-law was anxious about looking as natural as possible (she had never worn much makeup in her life) and she was thrilled with Sam’s work. We were all very happy with our end result and I would definitely recommend Sam to anyone looking for a wedding stylist!

Sam is an amazing makeup artist. I met her several months before my wedding for a trial run and she couldn't have made me feel more comfortable. She's extremely easy to talk to and is truly an artist. She confirmed her wedding day appointment with me the day before the wedding and was on time and ready to get started right when she said she would be on the wedding day.

She did makeup for 4 of my bridesmaids, my mother and myself for my wedding and everyone looked beautiful!

Samantha from Skin Deep was truly a blessing for our wedding. Her skills in make-up were phenomenal. She looked at our pictures (myself & the bridesmaids) and executed our make up to perfection. She was accommodating and friendly. When I met with her for my make-up trial I felt like I had known her for years! She is professional and friendly and really knows what she is doing! I am beyond satisfied!! I received many compliments including how I looked like a "porcelain doll" not to mention how beautiful my bridesmaids looked! Sam is an incredibly talented makeup artist! I’d never had my makeup professionally done before, and I was nervous about getting it done for my wedding. Another bride who was very happy with Sam’s services, recommended her to me. I met with Sam for a trial and she listened closely to all of my concerns, was very responsive, and ultimately made me look absolutely amazing (without feeling like I had too much makeup on) just for the trial! On the day of my wedding, she was extremely professional, and she was flexible about adding a few additional bridesmaids to the makeup list at the last minute. Sam made me look so beautiful on my wedding day, and she also made six of my bridesmaids look amazing too! She has a true talent for making skin look completely flawless and really bringing out your eyes in a beautiful way. The makeup also lasts, as my wedding was hot and humid but the makeup looked consistently great in pictures. I received many compliments on my makeup by guests at the wedding, as well as by people who just saw pictures on Facebook. I would have Sam do my makeup again in a heartbeat and I HIGHLY recommend her services.

Sam is AMAZING!!!! I was in a wedding in March 2012 and she did the bride's make up and it was stunning. I was so happy when she was able to do mine as well! I am extremely picky with make up and never want to look too "done up". Sam not only accomplished that but made me feel gorgeous for my wedding day! She is extremely professional, flexible to your needs, and all around nice and personable. All of my bridesmaids were floored with how their make-up turned out! Our make-up lasted all night and looked flawless until the end (even when the AC broke in our venue). I cannot believe she is not a make up artist in NYC or LA. I cannot recommend her more highly!!!

I cannot say enough great things about Sam!! She is absolutely AMAZING. All of my bridesmaids, my mom and my mother-in-law all loved the way they looked for my wedding. Sam is the most talented makeup artist I have ever met. I was an extremely picky bride and I looked at a ton of different makeup artist's websites and read a lot of different reviews. When i saw Sam's page, her portfolio spoke for itself and I knew I had to meet her. Unfortunately, she was already booked on my wedding date. I e-mailed her anyways, and as fate would have it, my date ended up opening up!! I truly do not feel like I would have been the most glamorous version of myself on my wedding day without her doing my makeup. Sam really listens to what you want and is so incredibly talented. Also, she is just a kind person and was so easy to work with. I felt amazing all night and the makeup did not move at all (which I was really concerned about since I have oily skin). Sam assured me that my face would look fresh and matte all night- and she was absolutely right! Hiring Sam to do my makeup was the best decision I could have made. I got so many compliments on how beautiful my makeup looked!

Sam was absol. amazing! She did an incredible job on my make-up as well my bridesmaids (all 10 of them) my mother, and mother in law. She made everyone look so lovely and helped to make for an unforgettable day. When planning my big day, there was no doubt in my mind that I would turn to Samantha to glam me and my bridal party up! She is extremely professional, skilled, and a complete doll to work with. Samantha worked a palate out with my skin tone and eye color, making me look absolutely captivating and straight out of a bridal magazine. My mother, coming off a recent chemo therapy session, was not feeling her best, had her make up done as well, and Samantha made her make up absolutely glow and feel beautiful. All of my bridesmaids were ridiculously pleased with their looks, which lasted well into the night and after party. I highly recommend using Skin Deep for any occasion, and will definitely be utilizing her services again.

A year and a half ago a client referred me to Sam after using her for her own wedding, and once she showed me the pictures I immediately went home and emailed Sam. She truly is an artist, her ability to recreate a vision you have in your head is incredible. On my wedding day i had 9 girls getting their makeup done, but she got it done quickly and all of our makeup was flawless all day long...mine even lasted the entire next day, lashes too! Sam is fun, vibrant and colorful and will add to the amazing memories as your getting prepped for your big day! My hair fell flat but my makeup looked perfect! Thank you Sam for making me look and feel beautiful on the biggest day of my life!

My mother has always told me I'm beautiful, but I never felt it as much as on my wedding day. And that's because Sam did my makeup. She made my eyes look huge and my skin look flawless. She recreated every single detail I'd loved from my makeup trial without me reminding her of anything. She quickly and efficiently picked up her brushes and glosses and did her thing, all the while chatting in her friendly and adorable way and putting me totally at ease. I got so many compliments on my makeup that day, I can't even remember them all. It showed up so wonderfully in pictures and didn't smear, smudge, fade, or shine once during the entire day. I literally didn't reapply powder ONCE, and I have pretty oily skin! Thank you, Sam, for being so flexible with rearranging my makeup trial and for making me feel like a princess on my wedding day! Definitely recommend her to any bride who wants to feel the same way.

On my wedding day, I wanted to the look like the best possible version of myself. In the extremely talented and artistic hands of Sam, I not only looked absolutely gorgeous, but the make-up lasted all day and through a LOT of happy tears. Sam outdid my wildest expectations of how make-up can make your skin as flawless as a movie star, without making you look like a different person. Sam did a trial run for me on the night of my bachelorette party, so I was able to look beautiful and feel confident that night as well! Sam also provided make-up services for my 3 bridesmaids the morning of my wedding, who were all extremely wowed by the results. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the services that Sam provided. Sam is every bride's dream when it comes to a makeup artist. She is professional, timely, has reasonable rates, and is truly an artist!

I had a makeup trial at my local salon, and I came home crying because it was so bad. I knew I didn't want to look the way I felt after that trial on my wedding day, so I scrambled to find a new makeup artist. By pure luck, I found Sam's website and she had my date open. The great part about her website is that she has a calendar where you can see if your date is already booked, which is so helpful when trying to find a vendor. Anyway, I went for my trial right away, and instead of crying tears of sadness, she made me cry tears of happiness. When I met Sam for my trial, she greeted me with a warm hug, and spent about 2 hours doing my makeup, and explaining every step. All of her brushes were sanitary, and she was sure to ask me how I wanted to look on my wedding day and if I had any allergies (at the salon, the girl failed to do all of the above!). I couldn't believe how beautiful she made me look, and I couldn't wait for my wedding day.

On the wedding day, she arrived on time, and had us all out the door by the time the photographer arrived. I had so many people at the wedding ask who did my makeup, and Sam made my maid of honor, mother, and mother-in-law feel and look so beautiful! We couldn't be happier with the results on that day!

Sam provided makeup service for me and my bridal party. I cannot say enough good things about her! She made me look absolutely gorgeous on my wedding day which in turn, made me feel fabulous and very confident! Before the wedding day we did a trial and she perfected my look and on the wedding day was able to copy the exact same look she provided for me on the trial. I felt this was VERY important because it wasn't something I wanted to worry about the day of the wedding. She made me feel very comfortable and her professionalism and her own confidence would put any bride at ease. In addition, she works FAST! On your wedding day, you want an artist that can perfect your look in the quickest time possible and Sam does just that! I have received NUMEROUS compliments on my makeup and on how beautiful I looked and all my bridesmaids who got their makeup done by her now swear by her! I will continue to book Sam in the future for all big events (I wish I could book her everyday) and continue to recommend her to all future brides!!! Thank you Sam - you are simply FABULOUS!

I have never had my makeup done and didn't know where to start so I spent hours going through makeup artists' portfolios and reviews. When I came across the Skin Deep Makeup Design portfolio, I was blown away by both the quality of the work and how each bride seemed to radiate an excited and happy energy. Although every bride is happy and gorgeous on her wedding day, you can tell when they actually FEEL they are stunning.

From the moment I contacted Samantha I knew I could stop my search. She was personable, friendly and the price was right (especially in comparison to some other popular artists on the same level with astronomical prices). I booked her without a trial (call it a gut instinct) beforehand and I'm so happy I did.

Samantha made a house call to do my trial. How's that for service?? I had put it off forever, confident that she would deliver, but it was about a month before my wedding and i had to solidify the look. We spent a few hours just gabbing, and she was so fun to be around (very important for a vendor who is in your face for over an hour). Like another reviewer said, she is very bubbly and that kind of energy is infectious. And I was floored by how I looked after the trial. It was exactly what I wanted! I couldn't stop looking at myself!

On my wedding day, she was my star vendor. All my bridesmaids and both mothers had their makeup done and LOVED their looks, and all of them were drop dead gorgeous. I remember my best friend being wishy-washy about getting her makeup done, but after Samantha was finished with her, she was beaming from ear to ear. I've never seen her so glowy or more comfortable in her skin. Sam also did a subtle makeup look on my stepdaughter and I could tell how much she loved the look Samantha gave her.

What makes Samantha so great is that you can tell she loves her work, making women feel and look beautiful. She has a quiet charisma and makes you feel comfortable from the moment you sit down on her chair. She is not pretentious, annoying, or confusing to deal with. She was also efficient and open to ideas while making suggestions that were helpful and accurate. I wish I could carry her around with me in my pocket! I will definitely have Samantha do my makeup again. She is a true gem!

Samantha, of Skin Deep Makeup Design, made me feel and look beautiful on my wedding day. She is the sweetest girl and despite loving my consultation a few months before the wedding, I was blown away by the final project on my wedding day. Samantha made my bridesmaids, mother and mother in law look just as pretty. The makeup was naturally done and perfectly balanced. Samantha was extremely responsive during the planning process, she was timely on my wedding day, and timed the makeup perfectly! I would love to be able to use her again to do my makeup, best ever!

Sam was awesome! She was quickly able to accommodate me and my rather large party on short notice. Everything was great from her communication, to the trial, to her services the day of the wedding. She was super accommodating and made sure we looked our best! (which is not an easy task when you've got 10 women with different taste in make up ranging from 15 to 63!) Everyone had so much fun with her and were impressed at how beautiful they looked. I got married on a 95 degree day, partied all night and then partied some more and my make up still looked great when I finally got to the hotel at 3am!

I would absolutely recommend Skin Deep Makeup Design and will hopefully get to be beautified by Sam again!

Sam is hands down THE MOST talented makeup artist that I have ever come across. She is magical when it comes to creating various types of looks. She is prompt, honest and just a sweetheart! Amazing...amazing...and AMAZING!!!!! I have had the best expiernce of my life and the pleasure of having Samantha do makeup for my wedding! I have never felt more beautiful. She is super talented, professional, and affordable. All my bridesmaids loved her and so did my mom and mother in-law. She is very attentive and listens to exactly what you want. She can go from extreme to very basic and does her best to give you exactly what you want and make you happy. I hope that the future will bring on another special event so that I can use her again! Can't say this enough...Samantha you are AMAZING!

I was recently married on March 31st 2012 and had the best experience I could have ever hoped for. I had the honor of hiring Sam as my makeup artist for my wedding party and can not say enough wonderful things about her. Sam has a gift- she's an incredible artist and can make any vision that you have a reality. Sam is a beautiful person- her down to earth personality and attention to detail is what makes her so special. Any bride out there should seriously stop looking now because you just found the best makeup artist ever- trust me, you won't be disappointed. :)

While searching for a makeup artist for my wedding, my hair stylist recommended Sam. I'd done trials with other artists but I left feeling like I was a Drag Queen. I also felt discouraged by the high prices I was being quoted. I knew I was going to go with Sam the minute I spoke with her. Sam's approach was refreshing. She was bubbly, kind, professional and personable. Although the expert, she didn't try to tell me what would make me feel beautiful. She made suggestions but made it clear that at the end of the day, the decision was ultimately mine to make. Sam's prices were beyond reasonable, especially for the quality of service she provides. As most do, the day of my wedding got away from me. Sam arrived on time and hung out as we tried to get back on schedule. Not once did she rush me or add to my anxiety about the lack of time we had. Sam's wedding was the week after mine and, as any bride knows, the week before the wedding is crunch time for to-do's. You'd never know that Sam had last minute ends she could be tying up rather than spending extra time in my hotel suite to accommodate my schedule. She did my MoH first and I could not stop staring at my friend of 25 years. She looked the most beautiful I've ever seen in my life. Finally, it was my turn. We had little time to spare. As I sat, I called out favors to my bridal party as they helped me pack my bag to head over to the venue. Sam worked quickly and efficiently all while staying calm, keeping conversation going and making me laugh. On your wedding day, all eyes on are you. Thanks to Sam, I've never felt so beautiful and confident in all of my life. Can't wait for another event to link up with Sam again!

I was referred to Sam by a friend to do my makeup for my wedding... I was hesitant at first b/c I have gotten my makeup done a few times in the past and hated it b/c I felt like it didnt even look like me! So I was even debating on doing my own makeup for my wedding... but I called Sam and she came to my house to do a trial - and I LOVED it! She was very patient and accomodating to my requests. She listened to what I liked and didn't like and it looked amazing! The day of my wedding she came to my moms house and did my makeup, my moms, and all of my bridesmaids. Everyone loved their makeup and all the girls looked gorgeous. Sam really is talented and I would highly reccommend her for any occassion! The prices are very reasonable and the fact that she can come to you is really convenient. I am looking forward to the next function I have so that I can call her again! Thanks again Sam for making me beautiful on my wedding day! :-)

Sam was AMAZING! I am so glad that one of my co-workers told me about her! I contacted her less than a month before my wedding after having a horrible makeup trial at a salon, thankfully she was available. When I met Sam at my trial, she was so sweet, I felt so comfortable and she did an amazing job. I couldn't believe how well Sam worked the day of the wedding, she was like a machine, making each girl in my bridal party look stunning. Sam is amazing! After terrible trials with other makeup artists I was in such a funk that I resigned myself to doing my own makeup for my big day, then I found Sam and Skin Deep Makeup Design. From the first time I saw her website I knew I had to have her do my makeup. After my trial Sam sat with me and explained everything in my contract and was happy to answer any questions I had and even after she left that day she always answered an email I sent promptly. On the day of my wedding Sam was on time and ready to go, she made me all of my girls look beautiful and answered any questions anyone had from what color eyeshadow would look best to explaining why she was using a certain product. Having Sam do our makeup felt more like having a girls night with my best friends than a hired vendor on my wedding day. My makeup was amazing and held up so well through the day even through tears and dancing, lots of dancing. I was so sad when I had to take my makeup off to go to sleep that ninth, I cannot wait to find another reason to have Sam do my makeup! I highly recommend her to any bride or any one who just wants to look and feel the most beautiful they can.

My wedding was the BEST day of my life and I have never felt so beautiful as I did that day and I owe it all to Sam. She is amazingly talented and so wonderful to work with. I had a very large bridal party of 10 girls, my mom and mother in law and Sam handled the whole event by herself in such a professional way. She really knows how to excentuate your beauty and everyone loved their makeup. I couldn't have asked for a better makeup artist. I will with out a doubt use Sam again in the future. After a horrible makeup trial at a salon near my wedding venue, I was in the market for a makeup artist who could give me a natural, fresh look for my wedding day. I wanted to look like myself but also be ready for the professional photos.

I remembered seeing on Facebook that my friend Sam from high school was a professional makeup artist and had started her own business, Skin Deep. I checked out her portfolio and was really inspired. The brides all looked amazing, and it was clear that Sam understands how to work with all different skin types and colors.

Sam and I did a trial on the morning of my bridal shower, which also happened to be her birthday. She got there right on time and worked with me to come up with the perfect look. She asked about my dress and how I was going to do my hair and looked at pictures with me. She explained what would and wouldn't work. She did a flawless job. I got so many fantastic compliments from my shower guests.

Sam agreed to do my wedding despite it being just 2 weeks before her own wedding. On my wedding day, she showed up early after driving two hours. She was professional and organized but also really fun and relaxing. She did an amazing job. One wedding guest said my skin looked like porcelain, and my new husband couldn't believe how perfectly Sam had played up my best features without making it look like I was wearing a lot of makeup (he had seen the results of the first horrible trial). My makeup stayed fresh-looking all night, and the photos are all fabulous! I have never felt so beautiful.

Hiring Sam was one of the best decisions I made in my planning process. I would absolutely recommend her. She is reliable and always responsive. She has always been talented artistically, and it really shows in her makeup work. I knew I was in great hands. I am hoping another event comes up so I can hire her again!

Sam is absolutely amazing! She is a first class artist. I found her when i was getting my engagement photos done, and knew at that moment that she would be my makeup artist for life. Sam, did my makeup for my wedding. She also did my mom's makeup for the event. My mom has horrible dark circles under her eyes and nothing ever covers it up. Sam took care of that!! It last the whole night! My mom was so happy and looks stunning in the wedding photos. My my mom and my grandmom looked beautiful. My makeup was stunning. I still use Sam. I was currently on TV cause i am a professional singer, and at 545am she made me look phenomenal! If i go on tour she is coming with me, so you better book her while you can cause Sam is going places!!! She is professional, and easy to get along with. I recommend her to everyone.

I highly recommend Sam - she is the best!!! I mean that. My trial was amazing and the day of my wedding I never looked more beautiful. She has an amazing talent. My bridesmaids loved her too. When in doubt please pick Sam. I searched for months for the best make-up artist because everyone says you need airbrush - but I didn't want airbrush!! My makeup lasted the entire night and my lashes were on the next day even after sleeping in them...that is because I love them so much. I will definitely be using Skin Deep makeup again :) xo

SAM was so AMAZING...She did my makeup, my bridal party, and my family's makeup on my wedding day. Ages ranging from 20-75, styles were all different depending on the each individual. We had natural, smokey and very dramatic looks. She was very accomodating and made all of us look beautiful. She also did my cousin's wedding last year and would def recommend her. Thanks SAM :)

Sam is an amazing makeup artist. I first met her when I was a bridesmaid in my girlfriends wedding. After that I knew that I had to have her do the makeup for my wedding. It was flawless, I looked like a porcelain doll. She made it look so natural since I never wear makeup to begin with. I was so happy that I have now recommended her for my sisters wedding. Sam was AMAZING - from the first time she came to my house for our consultation to my actual wedding day! She asked me tons of questions to make sure she knew what I wanted and gave me her thoughts on what would work best with my skin tone, dress and coloring. She not only took care of me and made sure my experience as the Bride was perfect, she made sure my bridal party and family who got their makeup done felt just as great. I'm so glad I got Sam and totally recommend her to any Bride!!!

Samantha did an amazing job on me and my bridal party for my wedding day. She was accommodating, professional, and super friendly. She did my make-up exactly how I wanted it and made me feel like a million bucks. My bridesmaids loved how I looked for my trial so much that they all decided to get their make-up done by Sam also. Samantha is absolutely amazing. She was so helpful, so flexible and made me feel at ease and even though she was rushed (9 girls to do makeup on!) she not only did them all but they all came out looking FLAWLESS!!! People raved about my makeup all night long and it held up extremely well (my wedding was outside in the humidity and elements it it was still perfect by the time my wedding ended!). Worth every penny, I would hire her again in a heartbeat!!

I actually booked my makeup with Skin Deep before even having my trial based on the pictures I saw and they did not disappoint on the day of the wedding. Sam was amazing and made all of the girls look beautiful. My makeup was exactly what I wanted and what she did for me in my trial. I still looked like myself but with a little extra glam! Highly recommend.
