Beautiful drapery!
We worked with Taryn with Skagit Valley Rentals for our wedding July 2022. We initially reached out to Taryn because she came recommended by our venue to help us with draping/lighting there. At our consultation appointment with Taryn, she took the time to understand our vision for the entire wedding day to offer helpful suggestions and where she could be of help. She also had rental items such as charger plates, silverware, table runners e.t.c. that really added an elegant flair to our wedding. Furthermore, she also visited the venue ahead of time to understand the layout and brought along some of the draping to give us a sense of what the décor would look like. We appreciated her detail-oriented approach and promptness in responding/communicating. -

Whitley was simply amazing!!! We just celebrated our daughters wedding last weekend at Maplehust Farm and what a beautiful wedding!! Whitley understood everything our daughters vision was and made it happen!!! Whitley worked so hard all day with such a positive attitude it was truly special! What an amazing talent she has for seeing the vision and then implementing it. Thank you so much for helping make it a special day! -

We met Taryn at the Skagit Wedding Tour, and are so lucky we did! Rentals was one of those things we were a bit clueless about, and had therefore been procrastinating. Taryn was extremely nice, and really helped take some of the anxiety out of the process. We got to see several samples at the show, and set up an appointment later to go to their main location to decide on the final colors. There we met with Whitley, who helped us figure out exactly what we wanted. They have a sample table with chairs and we were able to see exactly what the table setup would look like, which was extremely helpful! Their pricing structure and levels of service were straightforward, and we were easily able to get a price estimate.
As it got closer to the wedding our wedding planner pointed out some of the items we had forgotten about, and we were able to work with Skagit Valley Wedding Rentals to adjust our rental order. They were very accommodating, and were able to make even a couple last minute changes. Our wedding reception looked amazing, like something off of pinterest, and that is in large part due to the help we got from Skagit Valley Wedding rentals to pick the best table settings for our event! -

Taryn was amazing! She was incredibly helpful from start to finish and helped to make my initially vague vision into a beautiful reality. I had a Sunday wedding with very little time to set up, so we paid for her Deluxe level of service and it was worth every penny. The piece of mind knowing that Taryn and her team were helping with some of the most time consuming tasks was a huge weight off of our shoulders. Taryn's rental products were beautiful and added to the overall aesthetics. -

Taryn and Leslie were amazing to work with. She had a large variety of rentals available, as well as options for different levels of service. We utilized her highest level of service, where they set up and broke down for us in the same day (it was absolutely worth it!! Zero stress for us because we were in such great hands!) We loved how flexible Taryn was with the counts on rentals and items needed. Not to mention that everything was absolutely beautiful day of, attention to detail was spot on. Taryn did an amazing job going above and beyond for an unusual style of wedding in this area. Taryn, the owner of Skagit Valley Wedding Rentals is such a pleasure to work with, with the best selection and pricing on linens and other rental items in all of Skagit Valley. We had so many wonderful compliments on the tangerine & ivory table linens & the vintage silver pitchers we rented for our table flower arrangements blended so well with our style and were absolutely beautiful! Her glassware (champagne & water goblets) were perfect for our event and very easy to transport. We also rented the chiffon drapery for a large barn door and it was so pretty and very easy to set up. Taryn worked with us one on one to make sure we had everything that we needed and was very flexible with any changes that were required. We highly recommend Skagit Valley Wedding Rentals for your special day, as it most definitely made an added touch for our big day....thank you Taryn!!! -

Working with Taryn at Skagit Valley Wedding Rentals was a wonderful experience. We so appreciated her input and recommendations; we were able to attain the look and atmosphere we wanted at a fraction of the cost. Taryn at Skagit Valley Wedding Rentals was very professional and easy to work with. The cost was geat and the reservation was easy to work out. One thing in particular that I loved is that there are levels of service which give you the ability to choose which works best with your schedule and budget. AND they picked up and dropped off with no additional charge! If you are on a budget, or just don't want to pay an arm and a leg for your rentals, I would recommend SVWR for your event. We were very happy with every aspect of the service they provided and will definitely use them for future events. -

Taryn was fantastic! She was knowledgable, and not at all pushy for a sale. She had lots of great ideas and was no nonsense. The whole reason she and her husband have this business is because of their own wedding, in which they had to work with big, impersonal companies who charge way too much and could care less about your big day.
On the opposite end, Taryn was sincere, caring, accommodating, and inexpensive! It was also very low stress for the pick up and drop off of the rental items. I would definitely recommend Skagit Valley Wedding Rentals to everyone! -

Skagit Valley Wedding Rentals was very flexible with all of our changes (our rental needs continually changed as our RSVPs rolled in as well as unexpected services were added by our venue). They were easy to rent with, responsive, and trustworthy. Plus, it's nice knowing that you're supporting a small, local business. I will definitely rent from them again if every planning an event in the Skagit Valley area. -

Taryn was wonderful! She helped me narrow down my options of linens/colors and provided great feedback on what would work best for my venue. I had an idea of what I wanted, but she really helped bring it to life with her knowledge of textures and aesthetics. The linens were delivered to the venue and waiting for us when we got there. She also showed up during our rehearsal and tied all of our chair sashes beautifully (while pregnant and only 2 weeks away from her due date). She went above and beyond what was necessary and expected. If you are getting married in Skagit county, definitely check out Skagit Valley Wedding Rentals! -

Taryn was a great help for us on our wedding. She was responsive and answered my questions during the planning phase and was very flexible and accommodating during the setup. Since we did a lot of decorating ourselves she made sure to set things up in a way that worked for us. The Deluxe service level was definitely worth the money because we didn't have to worry about any of the cleanup. Thanks for helping make this wedding a success! -

Taryn was so nice to work with. And went above and beyone to meet my expectations for my big day. I would reccommend her to my dearest friend and family for any special event in the future. The qaulity of linnens, and everything else we had that day for the big event. Was exceptional. -

She lived a bit far from town, and required that we pick up and drop off dishware very immediately before and after the events, was a little inconvenient. -

Pros: The linens were beautiful. Taryn also provided silver trays for centerpieces free of charge. We offered to rent them for a cost, but since they are not items she usually rents she let us use them for free.
Cons: Three weeks before our wedding I found out that our contract had changed. I only found this out after I initiated contact about how to pay off our remaining balance. Instead of having 2 days to return our linens now we'd have to bring them back the next day. Additionally, due to personal circumstances happening in the vendors life, I was going to have to drive the linens all the way back to her house, which was a 40 minute drive one way while I had family in town that had flown thousands of miles to be with me during one of the most important times of my life. In the end, we decided to downgrade our package and wash the linens ourselves, thus giving us 5 days to return them. I drove all the way to her house only to find out she was home the whole time and could have easily met me half way which was what we initially agreed upon.
So, I do not recommend using this rental company unless you want to be accommodating someone else on YOUR big day. -
