Breathtaking floral design

Stella was so easy to work with and created the most breathtaking florals for our wedding. We brought her on with only 2-3 months left before wedding day and you would have no idea that she wasn't working with us from day one. She immediately understood the look we were going for with tons of color and texture with a wildflower feel.

She designed a stunning floral arch that was installed on the tree that we got married under. Our wedding guests could not stop talking about how beautiful that arch was. It made the MOST gorgeous backdrop for our ceremony. She was then able to deconstruct the install and move it to the reception area during the cocktail hour saving us money reusing florals from the ceremony.

My bouquet and the bridesmaids bouquets were insanely gorgeous and absolutely perfect. They perfectly complemented the colors I had picked and were in the dresses of my bridesmaids. She created the shape I asked for and stayed away from the very traditional structured bouquet like I asked.

She also helped us to be creative with use of the bridesmaids bouquets and ceremony aisle arrangements as center pieces bringing a lot of different texture and size to the tables. She installed a beautiful ivy overhang in the reception area helping to detract from the farmhouse feel and create a colorful free spirited garden in the reception area.

I could not be more thankful for Stella and the work she put into our wedding. She elevated everything to another level and looking back I wouldn't change a thing!!

Amazing florist! 😻

If I could give 10 stars I would! Working with Stella with Sixpence Floral was an absolute breeze! Stella has so many great ideas and REALLY knows he stuff. I’m extremely indecisive, didn’t really know what all I wanted for my wedding, and then decided to add on a few things and change a few colors closer to our wedding day and Stella was so sweet and very accommodating about everything! Our flowers and greenery turned out absolutely gorgeous! Highly recommend!

Stella does the most amazing work! I my style is super colorful and we didn't have a particular color scheme for the wedding since we had no attendants, so when I said I wanted pretty much every color she made it happen. She is a pleasure to work with!

You know the flowers are great when the wedding guests take them home without being told they can and should do so! (They were in mason jars I gave Stella for the arrangements, so it was totally safe for them to be taken home as is.)

Full disclosure: I work for Stella doing setup and breakdown, so I've seen the amazing work that she has done over the last two years. It's why I never even considered another florist for my wedding and have recommended her to everyone looking for a florist. Other guests at my wedding even recommended her to friends after seeing our wedding flowers!

Stella is an AMAZING florist! She is truly an artist, and that was apparent on our first visit to her shop. She asked us all of the right questions to get an idea of our vision for our big day. After we told her our colors and that we wanted a romantic feel, she got out props to show us what she was thinking and we were blown away! She incorporated beautiful decor for our centerpieces, including lanterns and geodes that fit our theme perfectly. She also provided a cute LOVE sign free of charge! After listening to all of our ideas, she showed us her software that gave a visual of the flowers she was thinking of incorporating and we got a very representative idea of what our actual flowers were going to look like on the real day. Stella also had great suggestions for substitutions for less expensive flowers as well as ways to repurpose arrangements to help us save money. Our venue staff looked at the flower proposal after we got it and said themselves we were getting a terrific value for the amount and type of flowers we were able to incorporate. On the wedding day, my expectations were exceeded. My bridal bouquet was GORGEOUS-- she incorporated just the right amount of greenery and beautiful, lush flowers. It was all so dreamy and romantic! We are still so happy with the way it turned out and can't stop looking at the pictures of all the floral. We recommend Stella and Sixpence 100%!

Stella with Sixpence was responsive and accommodating. Even better, though, she heard my vision for the wedding and creatively brought it to life. She added flowers that I have previously not heard of or seen, which produced a wonderful and unique final product. I would recommend working with Sixpence!

I only met with a couple of florists in person once I narrowed down my options. I really enjoyed meeting with Stella in her store front. We were brainstorming ideas together and she would show me different pictures of flowers we were discussing, pull down vases and decor from her show room, and really helped me visualize her ideas. I also paid to do the mock session and I highly recommend doing this! After our first meeting I thought I knew what I wanted, but after doing the mock session we made a handful of changes to flowers, colors, centerpieces, and the ceremony pieces. It really helped cement the idea and made sure we were on the same page with what I was looking for. The flowers on our wedding day came out gorgeous! I was so happy with the results and Stella was just so easy to work with.

Stella did an incredible job on flowers for my wedding. I gave her a picture of a bouquet and she recreated it perfectly and made it when more beautiful than I could have imagined. Her vision for the rest of my wedding flowers was exquisite and I could not be more pleased. I highly recommend her!

Stella provided the most beautiful flowers for our wedding! They were more than I could have ever imagined! And when we had to make the change the morning of the wedding that we had to have the ceremony inside as opposed to outside she created a beautiful design that you'd never know was last minute! Stella was so pleasant to work with. We told her that we had a tight budget, and she gave us so many options to cut cost but still maintain a beautiful look. She's knowledgeable and very prompt to respond. The arrangements she created for the ceremony room were absolutely beautiful and creative, and looked just like the sample photos she provided us during our first consultation and the Pinterest pages she shared with my wife. The bridal bouquets were perfect, and so were the floral cake-toppers. We're actually trying to preserve my wife's bouquet, so we can continue enjoying it. We'd recommend Stella and Sixpence to anyone.

Stella is wonderful! We put together my bridal bouquet on her ipad app so that I could visualize it. We changed it until I was satisfied. She did everything she said she would and we had beautiful, fresh flowers on our wedding day for the bridal party. I chose to have a friend pick them up rather than have her deliver them and she had them packaged so that they survived the transport without a scratch. We added on flowers for the cake topper and they were great too. I am very pleased with her services!

Stella and her team were AMAZING! She was recommended by a friend of mine who got married a few months before me. I told her my general vision and she went beyond my expectations. Everything was beautiful and perfect! Of all the vendors I looked at, she gave me the most bang for my buck.

I will update this review after the wedding, but so far Stella has been great to work with. I found her to be very creative and unique in her choices for our wedding and that's why we booked her! I feel her prices are very fair, shes quick to respond and I feel confident in her providing our flowers for our wedding day!

Sixpence floral made me two absolutely stunning floral sprays to use for my wedding ceremony. They were beyond perfect, I only wish that I had them make my bridal bouquet also because the sprays were so beautiful!!

Stella is amazing! She was so great to work with through this whole wedding process. She sweetly made changes where we needed them and worked to stay within our budget. She even went above and beyond to help make the process easy for us. Also, the flowers and decor for our big day were incredible! I would recommend her to anyone. She was SO great and we are so thankful :)

Sixpence Floral Design was fantastic. Stella did an amazing job on our flowers even while on a strict budget. The floral arrangements were beautiful! Stella absolutely created flawless designs that helped to create and meet the soft/romantic style of our wedding! I highly recommend her for all things floral!

Stella with Sixpence was amazing. To be honest, flowers were not something I particularly cared about but my mother did and offered to pay for them. I am SO glad we hired Stella. Our flowers were so beautiful and they added the perfect touch to our ceremony and reception. We received so many compliments and would hire her again in a heartbeat. We had our ceremony and reception at a venue that required very little additional flowers or decorations, so we set out looking for the best value among wedding florist. Sixpence was a perfect fit. They were extremely reasonable and a far better value than most of their competitors. The flowers and everything provided were gorgeous and added the perfect touch to our venue. If we had to do it all over again, we'd stick with Sixpence.

Stella is amazing! When I had my initial consultation with her we talked through a bunch of ideas on flowers and she put together a quote, and then I completely changed my mind about everything and wanted to start over - she was so awesome about it and was excited about all the changes I wanted to make. She was very professional, and easy to work with. Every change I wanted, she made. I had a budget in mind and she made recommendations and little tweaks here and there to make sure I got everything I wanted within my budget. My bouquet was stunning! As were the rest of the flowers. Stella did much more than just provide flowers - she really helped to style the whole ceremony and reception decor. I highly recommend Stella!

Stella is a genius with flowers. She made did the floral for our Bridal Party and I was in awe when I picked them up. She knew exactly what I wanted and I couldn't have been more happy. The bouquets were gorgeous.

I LOOOOOVED all of the flowers from Stella so much -- they turned out more beautiful than I could have imagined!! The purples and greens were perfect! And Stella is so creative and had so many great ideas. It was all so perfect. The bouquets, pew markers, altar flowers, etc -- everything was so amazing!! It has been such a pleasure working with Stella!

Stella is just wonderful - she worked so well with us, we couldn't have chosen a better florist for our wedding. She was so patient with all of our indecisiveness and truly listened to what our ultimate vision was. Her arrangements were affordable and just stunning. Her incorporation of the shepherd's hooks, vintage silver plates and antique books tied everything together just perfectly. We recommend Sixpence for any floral needs you may have - I will definitely be using Stella & Sixpence over and over again.

Stella is an absolute joy to work with. She made the floral process for our wedding so pleasant.

I found Stella on yelp after being discouraged from some other vendors...as one would not even return my email after giving my budget and size of wedding. I find this hysterical because I spent twice my budget (my choice and add on's-new job :-)) and was happy to spend my time and money with Stella at Sixpence.

Stella met with me and reviewed my dream, size of wedding, showed me her portfolio, and provided me with a quote which was so easy to understand and customize. For example under bouquet she had three size/price options with very detailed descriptions about the bouquet that I could visualize. She did this for each and every aspect of my floral decor in the wedding. I was able to really customize my florals and they were exquisitely beautiful.

Stella let me use some of her props without a charge which really made everything come together and pop beautifully. She set up early, stayed, and broke down the extra florals at the end of my day. She was sweet, kind, compassionate, and never made me feel like a less than bride for spending only a few thousand instead of tens of thousands of dollars.

I HIGHLY recommend Stella from Sixpence for your event. She even did my rehearsal dinner florals which were festive and fun-perfect for our venue!

Stella at Sixpence was amazing! I didn't think picking a florist would be such a challenge and right when I was about to give up, Stella fit exactly what I wanted into my budget. When she delivered the flowers, she was so generous with her time to make sure it was all done just right. I highly recommend Sixpence for wedding flowers!

Stella is the owner/operator of Sixpence Floral Design and is simply amazing. She made such beautiful arrangements and bouquets for my daughter's wedding. She met and EXCEEDED our expectations and was an absolute delight to work with.

OMG! Stella was amazing, the centerpieces, bouquets, and all the decor she provided were more beautiful that what I had imagined. She was really open to what I wanted and she is very creative and everything was absolutely lovely. We had bad weather during our wedding and had to have our ceremony in an indoor area instead of outdoors but her floral curtain really made that ceremony and I don't know what we would have done without it or without her! She was able to work within our budget and gave us several different options and really worked with us. I could go on and on about how great of a florist she is, even the tiniest details were awesome! She could be difficult to get in touch with at time but she was understandably busy with wedding season. Overall I would absolutely recommend Sixpence Floral Design!

Amazing flowers!! It rained on my wedding day and she showed up ready to go with a plan B and I didn't even have to ask! It was more beautiful than I could ever have imagined. She did such an excellent job! I had zero stress day of because she was so organized.

Stella did a great job with the flowers at my daughters wedding. She listened to the wishes my daughter had, about thinking outside the box.... And she delivered! Had a small reservation about some, "forgetfulness", at at meeting or two, but, I get the artists' use of the other side of the brain.... All that to say, it all came together brilliantly, with no sweat.

Stella's flower arrangements for our wedding was beautiful. She had a lot of creative ideas and put together a Pinterest board so we could make sure we were on the same page. I put a lot of faith in her on our wedding day to bring the ceremony and reception design to life and everything turned out so beautiful. The aisle markers, arch, and table decor all came together so great and I was so relieved. My bouquet was beautiful, and she was so helpful in adjusting my order (time and time again, I admit) to make sure we could get the look we wanted in our price range. She was really swamped with other orders so at times it took awhile to hear back from her, but all in all we had a really great experience with Stella. She really came through!

Horrible horrible business and person! From the start I had communication problems with Stella. She took weeks to respond to emails and it was only after my planner got involved. I was promised beautiful full delphinium centerpieces and what I recieved looked like they had been hanging out the car window the whole way to the wedding. Very sad looking bare flowers. I cried when I saw them on the tables. They were beyond awful. Stella offered me a full refund and I told her she needed to talk to my mom since she paid. Stella forgot flowers and my bouquet and still charge me for them. She set up my ceremony not at all how we had discussed. And worst of all afterwords said that she stood by her work and went back on the refund. She said that she ultimately had the last word on what flowers would be used on my wedding day. Again it was not Stella's wedding, it was mine and she didn't even call me to tell me she was going to bring something else. My maid of honor asked her why there were missing flowers and my bouquet and when Stella checked her invoice and realized her mistake, instead of being honest she lied and said that they were not pretty and she chose not to use them. I wish I could post pictures here, I posted some on Yelp if you want to see for yourself. They are night and day. I am seriously considering taking legal action against her. This is the kind of ridiculous thing you see on judge Judy. It should not have to go to that, no bride should have to deal with this kind of nightmare on her wedding day.
