Lanisha Sent on 08/09/2013Siobhan was absolutely amazing! Her creativity is out of this world and my husband and I love working with her! She captured our engagement photos, which we loved, we wouldnt have had any one else capture our BIG DAY! She truly believes in capturing moments that will last a life time! We can't wait to find another reason to work with her! -

I'm so disappointed. I purchased her Groupon deal for an engagement session (not through Groupon but her directly) and was very pleased with her initial responsiveness, friendly personality, and especially the photo shoot itself! I thought Siobhan did a great job and was thrilled to see the photos.
Well, I haven't seen them to date. It's been over 6 weeks even though her contract stated 2 weeks turn around time. I can be flexible with timing as long as I can expect it, but Siobhan is not returning any of our emails or calls. When she did answer the phone once, she said she would call back and then never did. I'm really not sure of her objective and why she isn't giving us an update.

User1540489 Sent on 02/21/2014She was the second shooter at my wedding. Her photos look nice, although she is using my photos without my permission for advertising and marketing. There are personal reasons as to why I don't want my photos displayed and she refuses to respect that. I never signed anything saying she can use them!!! -
User2567847 Sent on 04/04/2016It's nearing our 2 year wedding anniversary, and I look back at the pictures, and It's sad to say that I had WON a giveaway that Siobhan Thompson Fine Art Portraiture was holding back in 2015 and I to this day I can't find a single GOOD picture that she did. Everything is overexposed, or underexposed, edited like crap, or just isn't a good picture at all. I had Another company that I had won a giveaway with that same time, and i chose her over them, and they are a WELL known photography company. But I chose Siobhan because I liked some of her work. Clearly I had made the wrong choice at that time. If I were to do it again, i would have chosen the well known company Over Siobhan. Its sad that 2 years later, I still regret my decision. But thankfully I had some family and friends take photos, but they aren't exactly what i wanted. And neither was Siobhan's work. Good thing it was just my wedding day... and nothing important.
Most of the time she was either sitting doing nothing, or couldn't be found. I had 4 people looking for her at One time, and no one could find her. The whole photography experience was ruined. Not a single photo with my bridesmaids, no cute first kiss, no walking down the isle, No cute family photos, it was like she didn't even care to be there. And she wonders why we didn't buy a Photo album. There were no good photos for an album, let alone would i spend over 300 for a photo album that is filled with crappy photos.
Id like to make note, Dont do a Giveaway, if you aren't going to do quality work. -
User1621494 Sent on 05/16/2014From the beginning Siobhan was impossible to communicate with. I scheduled an engagement shoot 2 months in advance, she asked for ideas on location and I got back to her the same day. Weeks went by and I had not heard from her at all, so I decided to call her 2 weeks prior to confirm date and firm up a time. When calling Siobhan, she sounded irritated and annoyed that I was calling and stated the date and time were fine and she had been busy with "family stuff". (Which I totally understand, but own it and apologize, don't make excuses) Siobhan said she would email me back to confirm and she did, several days later. Five days from our scheduled date I received an email with a screenshot of the weather forecast indicating rain, and a recommendation from Siobhan to reschedule for the day after. Since our shoot was scheduled to be outside, I definitely preferred to reschedule but was unavailable the next day. I suggested we reschedule for another Saturday the following month, and replied to her email (within 10 hours of receiving her email) asking her to reschedule for any Saturday the following month depending on her availability. Four days went by and I heard nothing from Siobhan, until 12 hours before our canceled appt. Her email stated she'd like to keep the appt as initially scheduled, despite the weather! Why would she send an email out rescheduling due to rain if she could do it anyway, and why wait until 12 hours before the canceled appt to let me know. She is unprofessional, inconsiderate, and unreliable. I would not recommend Siobhan Thompson to anyone. Save yourself the headache!
