Everything about Sycuan is amazing. We worked with Maleeca; she was helpful, kind, organized, and just all around easy to work with. She didn't miss a detail, and made wedding planning so easy. The all inclusive venue made planning a breeze. It was a beautiful night and everyone had an absolute blast!!

Excellent Customer Service!
Maleeka is a true Professional and was largely instrumental in making sure that our Wedding Ceremony and Reception would be flawless and memorable too! Our Guests all seemed to enjoy the total experience...and of course we did too! I highly recommend Sycuan Golf Resort for any Celebration in Life!

I cannot say enough about Brandy and Michael! They answered every question, went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly, perfectly, and as stress free as possible! I will forever point everyone I ever meet to them and this gorgeous and well priced venue location!!!! Pictures don't begin to do it justice!!!!

My husband and I absolutely loved all our wedding events at Sycuan Golf Resort. Ashley was a pleasure to work with. We have received so many complements from our guests. Our ceremony was outdoors in front of the gazebo with gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains. The staff for both our rehearsal dinner and reception were extremely courteous and helpful. Their winter package was an exceptional value with the best food I've had at a wedding ever. I recommend this venue to any and everyone looking to book a wedding or event.

Our entire experience at Sycuan Golf Resort was perfect from start to finish. Ashley is more helpful than I could have possibly imagined her to be. Coming into planning a wedding most people are completely in the dark and have no idea where to start. Ashley walked us step by step through everything we needed to know about planning a wedding. Looking back on our experience there isn't one thing I can think of that they could have done better. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Every single Sycuan staff member from managers to waiters and bartenders were incredibly professional, polite, and over accommodating. I was beyond impressed!!!!

Loved the customer service from the reception. Everyone responsponsible for the reception like the bar, the cake and the buffet were incredible and so nice! The staff were so approachable and polite! So much do I wish to relive the wedding for it couldn't have been more perfect! A special thanks to Ashley the catering manager for being so sweet and got to be a part of the memory in some of our beautiful pictures!

I cannot say enough positive things about Ashley and Sycuan Golf Resort. My wedding turned out beautifully. Ashley was so helpful throughout the entire process. From the moment my mom and I toured Sycuan with Ashley we knew it was the perfect venue. Leading up to the wedding Ashley was easy to get in touch with, was always quick to respond to any question, and explained everything so thoroughly. She was very attentive to detail and very pleasant to work with. She was readily available from booking until the wedding and reception concluded. The venue itself is well taken care of. The landscape is green with colorful flowers and a soothing waterfall behind the gazebo. The reception room has wooden beams in the ceiling that complimented my rustic theme, and the staff did a great job of serving. My husband and I attended a food tasting before our wedding and all the food was delicious. I looked at quite a few venues and Sycuan was the most reasonably priced with all the extra charges that other venues charge being already included in Sycuan's price. The value and the service were excellent.

Ashley was our coordinator and she was bar none the best person I have worked with! She was quick, flexible, precise, and knew how to get things done! I am so blessed to have had my wedding there and will forever be greatful for her! The venue was accommodating, beautiful, and private! If you are to have your wedding anywhere and want it outside this is the place!!!!!

My spouse and I researched for weeks for a wedding venue and found this awesome Jewel in East County. It is a true value in that all the packages include excellent food and a great place for a reception. The gazebo is a great place to get married and the landscape of a vast array of flowers is a beautiful backdrop that your guests will enjoy, and so did we.

Ashley is the bomb and is very responsive.
The staff puts you at ease and is very helpful.

Our package came with a suite overlooking the golf course.

Awesome.

The entire staff at Sycuan was fabulous. They were flexible, understanding, and easy to work with. I wouldn't have done my wedding anywhere else and I would have rather done my wedding.

My husband and I got marries almost 4 weeks ago and people are STILL talking about how great the food was! We had the filet mignon & salmon and HOLY MOLY was it amazing!!!!! I just wish we could have gone back for seconds : )

What a wonderful place for a wedding. The outdoor ceremony site so secluded that you don't realize the golf course on the other side. The bright colored flowers and surrounding greenery are beautiful perfect backdrop for pictures.The cocktail hour and reception area very close to the ceremony area, so guest don't have far to walk at all. Our reception room was set up just as my daughter wanted. And the guest just raved about how delicious the food was. The staff was very attentive and polite. We wanted a place that had a Hotel and the Sycuan Resort provided such nice rooms at reasonable rates for those guest that choice to stay Ashley Sapp,Catering Sales Manager was the best. She never tired of my constant question or emails. She worked closely with the couple to make sure their wedding was everything they dream it would be.

I have nothing but great things to say about this wedding venue! Ashley was so helpful and always available to answer my many questions! She made our rehearsal and wedding day absolutely seamless. We were provided with a gorgeous 1 bedroom suite and Ashley was so sweet to send up a complimentary bottle of champagne and orange juice the morning of the wedding. Due to a storm that rolled in the weekend of our wedding, they made sure to set up chairs both indoors and outdoors in case the weather didn't cooperate. Luckily we were still able to conduct our ceremony at the beautiful outdoor gazebo, but Ashley made me feel so at ease regardless of where the ceremony was held. Our wedding guests are still talking about how delicious the food was. My husband and I would definitely recommend this amazing venue for any event!

Sycuan is the most beautiful place to have a wedding. Having our wedding and reception at the same location made for a stress free day on our most important day. The staff was absolutely fantastic - everyone made us feel like royalty. I cannot recommend Sycuan enough for any special event you may need to host...especially a wedding.

I loved working with Ashley! She answered all of my questions in a timely manner. She helped me along the way, which was amazing because my fiance, who is the Navy, was gone more than half of my planning process. The venue was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the price was SO affordable. We received MANY compliments on the wedding!

Ashley the Catering Manager was wonderful to work with! Very accomodating, quick to respond to emails and helpful when it came to things I didn't know much about inregards to wedding formalities. Michael and Bobby the Banquet Captains were very attentive during the wedding along with the catering staff. The Fiesta Buffet was AMAZING! Wish I had room in my dress to go back for 2nds. All my guests complimented the venue as its very well maintained and landscaped. Lots of space for photo locations. We did ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all in the garden and had ample space for our 171 guests. They allowed us access the day before to set up some lights since there was no events that day which saved us headache on the day of. Had a minor issue with checking into the hotel but it was quickly resolved with Ashley's help. Pricing for the venue, food, bar and hotel were very competitive compared to other venues and having the hotel was a great convienence. I know several people who were married at Sycuan Resort and I will recommend it to others as well!

Sycuan Golf Resort gave me the picture perfect wedding I have always dreamed about without the hefty price tag and while still remaining simple and laid back to match mine and my husband's personalities. Their garden gazebo instantly caught my eye and their banquet hall is large. Ashley who is the catering coordinator was very helpful throughout the whole process and never pulled a used cars salesman approach on me. She always responded to my questions within a day at the most and seemed to go out of her way to accommodate my wishes. Brandi took over handling my account when Ashley had to go on vacation and she went above and beyond to help us both at our rehearsal and the day of the wedding. The actual catering staff was the epitome of professionalism and the grounds of the whole facility were gorgeous. I am beyond pleased with the whole experience in using Sycuan.

Ashley and the Sycuan staff were amazing. I performed a lot of research on venues in San Diego, and the Sycuan resort was by far the best value. The location is beautiful and the food was great. I have no complaints what so ever with our experience with Ashley and the resort.

We were married on July 13th at the Sycuan Resort and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Ashley and the resort staff went above and beyond our expectations. The landscaping was beautiful, the food was amazing, everything was clean and well kept, and the staff was accommodating. We highly recommend checking out Sycuan Resort for your wedding.

When I began looking at wedding venues over a year ago, I had no idea what I wanted- all I knew was that I wanted spacious and elegant.

I found Sycuan Resort's facebook page which showed me beautiful weddings that had been there in the past. I thought golf courses were super expensive (atleast the ones I had looked at were!) but when I contacted Ashley for a quote, I was so surprised to find out it was well within our budget. We weren't have a huge wedding, but were planning on a 100 guests, and I knew serving dinner would be pricey, but when I got the final quote back, I was so happy. My husband and I went and looked at the venue, we walked out to the car, and I went back in immediately to sign a contact and lock in my date. I knew that was where I wanted to say, "I do".

Working with Ashley and the Hotel staff was amazing. Everyone was so generous, and professional. I ended up needed more hotel rooms than I had originally blocked off, and the hotel staff was accommodating to make sure everyone who needed to stay, stayed at the discounted price.

Ashley was above amazing. I had never planned a wedding before, so when I would e-mail her and ask her my spontaneous, sometimes off-the-wall questions, she would be there to help without an issue.

Everything about Sycuan was picture perfect. Not to mention all the beautiful locations on-site you can even TAKE wedding photos.

I would work with Ashley again in a heartbeat. She was so attentive to my every need. I would email her and would get a response back usually within the hour. I had a family emergency that occurred 2 1/2 weeks prior to my wedding and needed to go out of state for a week. Ashley stepped in and worked out most of the remaining details with my wedding planner. It was very reassuring to know that someone so capable was handling what I couldn't. I can't say enough positive things about the job that Ashley and her team did. The food was AMAZING. My guests had a great time interacting with the bartenders and the rest of the waitstaff was very attentive and professional. I won a free upgrade from attending the wedding showcase that Sycuan put on back in January and selected a raw bar from the list of choices. I would highly recommend adding this to your event. My guests gushed about it for a long time afterwards. I was also impressed by how easy the hotel staff was to work with. They blocked out rooms for my guests and then were willing to pass out the gift bags I prepared for overnight guests. Overall, I had a wonderful experience with Sycuan and would highly recommend you have your event there.

Everything was absolutely amazing on my wedding day. I couldn't have asked for a better day. Sycuan was very helpful when needed and Ashley was very responsive and helpful at all times. It was beautiful, we got some great pictures. I would refer Sycuan to anyone. The prices were reasonable and had a variety of packages to choose from! My husband and I were very pleased!

Sycuan was the first place we looked at and we loved it. We did the diamond package which came with all kinds of extras like being able to take pictures on their beautiful golf course, and free room nights for us. Their planner, Brandy, is amazing and she made everything so much easier. Everyone we encountered was super friendly and bent over backwards for even the smallest request. The food was delicious too, and people still talk about how good their meals was and it's been a month. Sycaun was the best choice, and for everything we got it was a much better deal than the other places around San Diego. I highly highly recommend Sycuan for your wedding ceremony and reception. You will not be let down.

I was very satisfied with the service provided. Ashley, the coordinator, was very quick with responding to questions and very professional. She was there every step of the way, and was there the day of. The service, the day of the venue, was awesome. All my guests were pleased. They were quick and courteous.

Syucan resort gave us an awesome experience! They make sure your day goes smooth and are very flexible. My coordinator, Ashley, was ALWAYS very helpful and also made our day happen by changing our reception indoors last minute. They're never late in responding questions or concerns. Their staff is very courteous and professional. I would recommend Syucuan Resort to everybody! This is the perfect spot!

My wife and I got married mid August, and couldn't be happier with Sycuan as our venue of choice! It was much much more reasonable price wise and they were extremely helpful throughout the entire process!

The catering department and Brandy are incredibly resourceful and awesome! She was extremely helpful the day of the rehearsal, the dinner, and ceremony/reception. We never felt lost and everything was under control.

We had our rehearsal dinner there, which included pizza, beer, wine, teas, juices, and desserts! It was just what we wanted. A few months before the wedding, Brandy had us come to the venue for a tasting of the food for the plated dinner and hor d'oeuvres. The food there was fantastic. The only complaint we had was that they wished there were more!

We got a ton of great feedback on our wedding. Everyone thought the ceremony was beautiful, and that the reception was a blast. We would 100% recommend Sycuan as a wedding venue. (Sidenote: there's a free shuttle to the casino--huge bonus). Thanks Sycuan for making our day truly one to remember.

The staff at Sycuan was amazing. Everyone was very helpful. Our wedding was flawless and a lot had to do with the professionalism of Sycaun. The ceremony site is perfect and the reception room transformed beautifully.

Sycuan Golf Resort was AMAZING! I couldn't have asked for a better ceremony and reception site! The area is beautiful, the food amazing, and the staff unforgettable!! Brandy is by far the best wedding coordinator! she takes pride in her venue and makes your special day absolutely magical! Things would not have gone near as smoothly had it not been for her! I would recommend Sycuan olf Resort and Brandy to anyone getting married that wants to feel like royalty!! Thank you for everything :)

The grounds and gazebo we got married on were top notch. Everyone who had a hand in preperations for our wedding did a first class job. The staff was very professional throughout the planning and final day of our wedding. Couldnt have asked for a better venue or staff to work with.

The wedding coordinator on site (Brandy) is spectacular. She is very accommodating, professional and personable. She made sure everything ran smoothly and the food and the venue were fabulous! I would highly recommend Sycuan Resort for your wedding or special event!

My husband and I were married at Sycuan on 2/22/2014. We were so happy with the wedding. Our coordinator, Ashley, was very responsive and always answered my millions for questions with a quick response. While we were searching for a venue, some coordinators did not get back to me until days later... this was one reason why we chose Sycuan. The ceremony was beautiful. The garden is amazing and the venue, itself, has been upgraded recently and is very nice. The entire venue has a calming affect and is serene and gorgeous. All of our guests complimented us on the food. The only issue I had was not being able to have access to the Ball Room until 1 1/2 hours before the ceremony began. We wanted to set up that morning and there was absolutely no flexibility for us to do that. Because of that, my maid of honor and my sister were not with me for the final touches and putting on my wedding dress with the photographer in our suite... because they were busy setting up just before the wedding started. The wedding and celebration were perfect thanks to Ashley Sapp, Catering Sales Manager, and her preferred vendors, a capable, caring staff, and a wonderful chef. If Ashley had not held the Bridal Bizarre in January, I would not have encountered so many excellent vendors to choose. And, from the exterior landscaping to the friendliness and efficiency of the serving staff, everything at Sycuan Resort was exceptional. Every attendee made a comment about how beautiful everything looked. Every attendee made a comment about the quality and quantity of the food. Every attendee made a comment about how fun and memorable everything was for them.

I absolutely loved my wedding at Sycuan. Ashley was great to work with. We had a lot of questions, and she was always quick to respond. The day of my wedding was perfect, we had champagne sent to the room and the honeymoon suite was amazing and the perfect space to get ready in. The food was delicious. Thank you to the amazing team at Sycuan!

Sycuan Resort was a beautiful venue for our wedding! The staff was very professional throughout the whole wedding planning process. Ashley and Vivian did an excellent job communicating with me and helping me with every wedding detail. The food was excellent!!! The only thing that was a bummer was that we were not able to leave items in the bride room during the ceremony because the staff said the room needed to be emptied and locked.

My husband is in the military and Sycuan was willing to work with us for a potential date change. They also were able to extend set up time 2 1/2 hours in advance before the ceremony started.

This is a beautiful venue. We loved that the prices per person included service fees and gratuity. The value was great. They offer several packages, and are flexible when planning the perfect package for you. The rooms are beautiful and the grounds are well-kept. The food was amazing, all of our guests were highly satisfied. although my husband and I were more impressed with the presentation of the tasting and entree preview rather than the actual wedding night dishes, we figured it was a result of serving so many plates at once.

We were very happy that there we got married here, it was a magical day. we got a full open bar throughout the night, which allowed guests to have a marvelous time. The cocktail hour food was amazing, I heard. If you get married here, make sure someone gets you a few plates of food - even have them deliver it to your room for later - we didn't have time to eat and were STARVING!

My lower ratings for responsiveness and professionalism are due to some interactions with staff members as we planned our wedding and also my event coordinator's interactions and feedback. There were moments when we wished staff members had been more responsive to our questions or more direct in their communication with us. We wished when there was an unresolved question, we were asked directly to address the matter rather than not be asked. This was our first time planning a wedding after all!

As far as professionalism, staff were mostly professional. Though many lacked warmth, a desired quality when planning the most important day of your life. The bartender was rude to guests, unfortunately, and most perturbing, he was rude to the father of the groom. This is an important criticism because it is critical that all guests have five-star service!

However, I don't want to sound harsh, because I would recommend the venue to a friend, but there are just a couple of issues I would make them aware of. Overall, excellent choice! Every venue and wedding day will have issues, and keeping that in mind, I would have my wedding here if I had it all to do over again. And I wish I could do it over and over again, happiest day of my life!

We stayed at the sycuan resort for our wedding night. WORST idea ever!!!! Our guest had issues with there rooms. as well as the name we put the rooms under. For some reason sycuan had no record of us..... WEIRD! Then, Our sweet was not ready on our arrival. We had to wait in the freezing cold for a golf cart to take us to our room. Which we had to ask for. It took them 20 minutes to get us! Then The morning afterwords we requested a pitcher of ice water to be delivered to our room. An hour later Room service showed up with a pitcher of ICE.... NO WATER!!!!! it took them an HOUR to get us a pitcher of ICE! wow! i will never stay there again!
