Connie did a wonderful job on our wedding cake! We met at her house for a tasting and absolutely loved the cake options she offers. The icing she makes really stood out to us too. Not only are her cakes amazing, she is very affordable. She explained her process in person and was responsive by text leading up to the wedding! We were really happy with the way our cake for 100 people turned out and recommend working with Connie. (The photo includes the cake she made for us but the cupcakes were from a different vendor) -

Connie did such an AMAZING job on our wedding cake and flowers! She did all of the flowers for our wedding, from bouquets to in remembrance flower arrangements to centerpieces! She also did our AMAZING Disney wedding cake! Everything she did looked beautiful and beyond expectations! Everything that I wanted and envisioned she listened to! She knows what she is doing and does everything perfectly! Thank you so much Connie! Can't wait to show everyone your PERFECT work! -

Connie did a beautiful job on my Wedding cake . I had my mind set on having fondant but Connie does not do fondant she assured me that she could make my wedding cake appear as if it were fondant but have a way better taste because fondant doesn't always taste that great.She was right !! My cake tasted absolutely amazing and was very appealing to the eye . She did a amazing job and I would absolutely recommend her in the future . She took my visual and brought it to life. -

Simply Connie provided the wedding cake for my daughter's wedding, and we were delighted. The cake was beautiful and exactly what the bride and groom wanted, and it was also delicious. Her icing is buttercream, but she is talented enough to make it look like fondant (and it tastes a lot better too). Her prices are very reasonable and the results are exceptional! -

I have never seen more beautiful flowers than the ones that Connie made for us. She decorated the pavilion, made all the bouquets, decorated the tables and everything gorgeous!thank you, Connie! -

Simply Connie provided the flowers for the bride, bridal party, cake top, etc., for my daughters wedding on July 20, 2013. Her flowers were absolutely beautiful and added so much to the beauty of the wedding. She met with us on two occasions and was very helpful with advice and suggestions during our decision making. Her flowers were very fresh and she delivered everything exactly at the time promised. I would highly recommend her for anyone choosing flowers for their day! -

Outstanding! Connie is amazing and her services are affordable. She is very talented and efficient. Absolutely beautiful flowers and wedding cake for my daughter's ceremony and reception. I LOVE Connie!!! She really knows what she is doing when it comes to weddings! My flowers were soooo gorgeous! My boquet was hot pink and lime green orchids cala lillies roses...just gorgeous! My bridesmaids flowers were just as pretty completley exceeded my expectations! She also did my centerpieces I had a butterfly themed wedding and I got round wicker baskets with a handle and she filled them with gorgeous hot pink and green flowers and then hot glued fake butterflies I got and hot glued just a couple on the handle like they had just landed there. I had no idea of what I wanted and just couldn't picture what I wanted my reception to look like but she did it for me! She came and set everything up for me and it was so pretty! I emailed her the week before my wedding since it was outdoors and decided I was going to do an arch with some fabric and wanted to see what she would charge to decorate it and if it was too late...she said no problem and this was maybe 4 days before my wedding she even went out there and decorated it for me b/c she said she knew I had a lot on my plate and not to worry about it...She was just so wonderful I can't say enough nice things about her! -

Connie's cakes and flowers were amazing! Everyone commented on how good the cake looked (and tasted!) and how beautiful the flowers were. The bouquet looked and smelled great, and was very resilient! She is very reasonably priced, considering how great everything looks and tastes! I HIGHLY recommend her! -

OMG. I HIGHLY recomend Connie. The cake was amazing and so were the flowers. She was extremely reasonably priced. Cake for 85, flowers for me and the girls, including a tossing bouquet. Corsages and butoneers (spelling?) centerpieces, pew bows, petels for the flower girls, etc. I got it all and it was flawless. Amazing and affordable. Booking her would be one thing you won't worry about. Everyone still talks about the cake and flowers. -

Ms. Connie's work was great! She was recommended to me by a friend. We had our initial consultation and I just wanted to make sure I shopped around for different prices. After going to a few of the well-known, large florists in the Hampton Roads area, I stuck with Ms. Connie; her prices were 1/3 of the cost of the large florists, and her work was comparable. She worked with me on great alternatives to flowers that I wanted, which were either too expensive for my budget or out of season. She helped my vision come to life with the mix of live palm fronds and floral centerpieces for my reception, and even made some changes to my ceremony décor after we found our initial placement wouldn't work on the day of the wedding. If you're looking for great artistic work at a fraction of the cost, go with Simply Connie! -

Connie provides probably one of the tastiest wedding cake selections I've ever had. Her quality and value cannot be beat in the Hampton Roads area. She knows what she's doing and is super helpful in helping you pick your flowers and cake. I highly recommend her. -

Our flowers and cake were BEAUTIFUL! We met with Connie twice before our wedding day, and she quickly figured out what we wanted for our cake and flowers. She had tons of examples of previous work for us to view, so we felt confident in her abilities prior to the wedding day. If you go with Connie, you will get an amazing cake for an awesome price as well as beautiful flowers for a fraction of what you would pay at other places! -

TERRIBLE TO WORK WITH!! She is cheap and will provide a good product, but I would have paid double to not have to deal with her. She is rude, unprofessional, and always "too busy".
