Emily did an absolutely AMAZING job! She instantly makes the sessions comfortable and instantly feels like a friend.
She shot my engagement and wedding photos despite it pouring during the engagement session and being an especially windy beach wedding! She was also very kind and caring in my last minute scramble to decide I would like to book her for an extra hour the day before the wedding.
Beyond the photos turning out absolutely stunning and stellar, Emily also has an in depth knowledge of weddings and was the bustle master and truly just jumped in whenever she saw I needed help.
I was very nervous about not being able to pose correctly and Emily gave clear and descriptive directions for the most natural feel. The candid photos were incredible and she truly captured every magical moment.
I will forever be grateful that we chose Emily to be there for us on our wedding day! -

Emily is an amazing photographer!! We loved that she offered an engagement session before our wedding day. We were able to get to know her and she became our friend immediately! On our wedding day, her second photographer Taylor was just as awesome. They made us feel comfortable, laugh, and had our backs every step of the way. Emily was knowledgeable about so many things and even helped me bustle my dress. The fact that she went out of her way to do things for me, made me feel that much more important. I wish that every vendor we had that day brought the same energy that Emily and Taylor did! -

Emily took my wedding day photos as well as an engagement session. She was wonderful to work with, was very flexible with last minute changes, and her photos are amazing!! She offers some great wedding packages, one of which was perfect for our small, casual ceremony. I would definitely recommend booking her! -

Emily was amazing! We had 3 weeks to replan our wedding (thanks covid) and she stepped right up to the plate for us. She was responsive, fun, professional, and like a friend! I hired Emily to do my engagement and wedding photos and every step of the way she exceeded my expectations. She was responsive, thorough and very reliable through the entire process. My whole experience with her was seamless (even despite COVID-19). Emily has an amazing artistic eye with photography and captured my special day beautifully! Emily was the best thing for our wedding season among a COVID pandemic! She was very helpful and flexible with the many changes and added pressures! Emily made us, family, and guests feel at ease and fun and playful with photos. She was very thorough and professional, and came ready with photo ideas and line ups! Not only did she do our photos, but she helped coordinate the whole wedding day. She has been a longtime family friend; and has community and passion as her focus. We love Emily and would recommend her for any major life event photography to capture those special moments:) She not only captured my wedding day, but she also did my moms wedding, my senior portraits, and my older sister's portraits. My wife and I would just like to say thank you to Emily and her sister Amber for being there for us during our most special night! Her work speaks for itself, so this is just a review about Emily the person. We met Emily through a mutual friend. When we first met her during our engagement shoot, we immediately connected with her. It honestly felt like we've been friends for years, and it was such an amazing experience. From the engagement shoot, to our wedding day. She made us so comfortable and brought a lot of joy and happiness throughout. Our dream wedding wouldn't be possible without Emily and her sister Amber. Wedding/Engagement Photography
Emily was great!! From start to finish, Emily made us feel comfortable during both our engagement photos and wedding photos. She allowed us to include our fur babies, two labs, who were always wayyy too excited about being a part of the photos but Emily didn’t let it phase her. She laughed along and captured some great photos. She is always up for an adventure and encourages you to do you! She was very helpful in creating a timeline for the wedding and on the day of the wedding she was on time and helped keep the day moving along on schedule as well. It was much appreciated. My husband and I would highly recommend Emily, with Simply Wandering Photography for your next photography needs! -

Stunning photos from a wonderful photographer!
Emily was absolutely amazing to work with. We enjoyed our engagement shoot with her and loved how natural she made the photos look. I really like how she sent a group of photos just a couple days after the wedding before sending the rest of them later on. We felt that her rates were extremely reasonable and a great value for the high quality of photos and professionalism. Plus she is a very kind and humble person. Thank you Emily! -

Perfect wedding photos!
Emily photographed our engagement photos and wedding and not only is she a wonderful and kind person, but she is an amazing photographer. With 2020, we had to change our wedding plans multiple times ending up doing an intimate backyard wedding. Emily was so flexible and helped so much with the wedding giving us advice and keeping everything running smoothly. Throughout the entire process, she was reliable and had great communication. She made taking pictures fun, and her and her partner have such an incredible eye! Our pictures all turned out so beautifully! We couldn't be happier and highly recommend her!! -

Emily and her team is GREAT!
First off, Emily is amazing. She worked with us and really captured how how special and amazing our day was for us. We could not be happier with the pictures she captured. Best of all, she took all the stress away prior to the wedding, and the worry of getting "that one photograph" never really crossed our mind because we knew it would be donee honestly ended with too many amazing photos to choose from. We would strongly recommend her to anyone willing to listen. -

Simply the Best
I was hesitant to get engagement shots in the first place, but decided to go for it as a sort of practice for our wedding. Emily was super understanding about my apprehension towards posed photos and made the entire session so relaxed and fun. She came prepared to put our awkwardness at ease and made us laugh the entire shoot.
When I got the photos back I was blown away, not just by how much I loved them but by how many photos I loved. Emily turned our awkwardness and apprehension into pure magic. I will cherish these photos forever. -

Emily is amazing!
Emily made our engagement session feel natural and fun. My fiance was worried about looking awkward, especially since he doesn't like to take photos to begin with. Emily did a fantastic job of helping him feel at ease and she was able to capture his natural smile in the pictures. Emily captures a wide variety of poses and makes sure the photos showcase the love between the couple. She is a wonderful, knowledgeable, and creative photographer. I would recommend her to anyone. -

She is the best!
My fiance and I were lucky enough to work with such an amazingly talented SoCal native photographer, Emily. She is the sweetest and an absolute delight to have capture our love. Also, she made our beautiful bouquet for our shoot, she is so crafty! We got back really fun/quirky and pure/romantic photos. For our Joshua Tree shoot, she helped with styling, hyped us up during the session, and killed it with the final edits - she does not disappoint! She made us feel comfortable, listened to any concerns, and has excellent communication. Her photography skills are magical and I would say her style is warm and moody. We are crazy in love with our photos, as we already made prints and using them as backgrounds for everything. We highly recommend booking Emily for all your photography ideas/needs!! -
