Simply Strings is the best String Quartet around! They recently played at my wedding at Kirkpatrick Chapel in New Brunswick and were an absolute pleasure to work with. They are all top notch professional musicians and they delivered a truly stellar performance. My guests were raving about them the rest of the day. I can't recommend them enough for your special event. -

Simply Strings playing during my daughter’s wedding ceremony in August. They were in one word - perfect. Their music created the mood for the wedding - classical, warm and romantic. Always professional and responsive. Our guests continuously mentioned how beautiful the ceremony was with the enhancement of a quartet I can’t recommend Simply Strings enough. -

For ceremony musicians we were looking for a trio with experience and an eclectic songlist. We found that and more with Simply Strings.
Maria Ramsay, violinist and coordinator, was easy to work with and answered all our music-related questions. My Husband and I took one look at the songlist and thought that the only problem would be having to choose from all these great selections.
Thankfully, Simply Strings had two of our must-plays already on their repertoire. Sweet Child of Mine, which I entered to, and the Game of Thrones theme, which we exited to. They also accommodated two special requests for Arcade Fire and Indiana Jones. In the end our only regret was that we were too busy mingling to hear more of their music but the compliments we heard from guests confirmed that we made the right choice with Simply Strings. -

Amy Sent on 10/14/2018We used Simply Strings for our wedding reception for a full 4 hours, and they were a huge hit for our guests, playing a variety of music from classical to contemporary pop music that even got guests to the dance floor! Honestly an amazing performance, and also professional and flexible. Great communication from beginning to end! The only thing that could be improved is that they played the wrong version of our specially requested first dance song (even though we sent the sheet music and was triple checked in the weeks leading up to the wedding day to play the particular version we were getting a first dance choreography for), so we had to improvise our first dance which was a little stressful in the moment, but we were luckily able to pull it off without anyone knowing. It honestly didn't affect the overall night, since they were so good, and they still get 5 stars overall and a full recommendation from me for all wedding/reception needs!! LOVE them. -

Emily Sent on 10/07/2018I was a ballerina in my younger years (a long, long time ago) so I knew that the *one* thing I really wanted to have at our wedding was a strings quartet. I found Simply Strings (and Maria!) online, and honestly, am so glad that I did. Maria was incredibly responsive from the very beginning, and helped tailor the most magical ceremony and cocktail hour music selection that we could have ever dreamed of. I must've spent over an hour poring over their expansive repertoire list, which spans a wide range of genres and song types. You won't be disappointed-- live music is so beautiful and everyone deserves it on their wedding day! -
Fran Sent on 08/20/2018I hired Maria and her fellow musicians for my mother's 70th birthday party. We had guests ranging in age from infant to 86 years old and everyone loved the music selection. The quartet played music from the 1960s through today and even played newer popular songs that the older kids and teenagers knew. I would definitely hire them again and recommend them highly.

They were fabulous and set the tone for my wedding. Maria is professional and pleasant to deal with. It was so easy and their performance was one of the things I most enjoyed about my wedding. I definitely recommend them. In fact, you would be insane NOT to hire them.. HIRE THEM!!
