To say that Patti blew us away would be an understatement.

We came to Patti with a very specific, technically-challenging request. We needed her to write, in calligraphic script, the names and table numbers of our wedding guests on natural clam shells. Each clam shell was irregular in dimension and had grooved surfaces that would make normal inks bleed into them that blurred and muddied the script. Patti's work was absolutely stunning, flawlessly executed, and provided the perfect personal touch to our nautical-themed wedding. Her passion for her business shines through in everything she does, and she couldn't help but give us a number of extra accessories to complete the shell placeholder display. She also hand-painted us a beautiful wedding gift that is on display in our home. You simply cannot go wrong with "Simply Done."

Beautiful work

Patti was wonderful to work with. I was extremely busy when I inquired about a seating chart and she was extremely understanding and patient with me. Our mirrored seating chart came out exactly how I wanted. We were thrilled and got so many compliments. I highly recommend her. She does exquisite work.

Patti White was recommended by our Wedding Planner and I thank God she did! Patti did an awesome job on everything! It started out with custom made lace table runners and place cards and ended up with table numbers, custom signs and table clothes that made my daughter's wedding a true vintage rustic garden wedding! She took all the worry out of the final details that make the day special. She not only custom designed and made everything for my daughters vintage rustic garden wedding, but hand delivered and set up everything beautifully!
Besides all this, she was very reasonably priced and was exceptionally easy to work with. She is very talented and made great suggestions. I can't thank her enough or recommend her more highly! She truly made my daughter's special day magical.

I would absolutely use Patti again. Patti is very creative and her work is excellent. She came up with some ideas that we had not even thought of that were admired by all of our guests. She does not charge nearly enough for her services! Can't thank Patti enough. Two guests want to book her for their upcoming parties.

Patti was absolutely amazing! I hired her to do the calligraphy for my invitations and I received many compliments on it from the guests. When we met, she asked me if there was anything else she could help me with. I am not a crafty or creative person so I told her some ideas I had but had no clue where to start or how to execute those ideas. She took care of everything from there! She did more than I would have ever done for myself, and at very affordable rate. Even very simple things like finding me frames, creating signage, etc. Its clear that she loves what she does and wants to do whatever she can to help ease the bride's worries on her big day. I am so pleased that I found her because she truly made the wedding process less stressful.

Had it not been for Patti's immeasurable guidance and craftsmanship, I would have been lost in the sea of wedding planning. She walked me through anything and everything that I was unsure of, always prompt in responding to queries and new ideas , and was able to take our vision for the day and make it into a beautiful reality. Every item crafted was simply incredible, every touch was personal and allowed for our story to be told. I cannot recommend her enough! She helped to make our wedding truly extraordinary!

She was also very accommodating, especially when I needed her to re-do my seating chart frames (twice) due to rearranging tables and adding more people! If you want beautiful calligraphy at a great price, look no further! We weren't sure if we had calligraphy in our wedding budget, but after some research online we found Patti as one of the most reasonably priced in the area with a nice range of modern-calligraphy styles in her online portfolio.

Patti is super flexible & very nice to work with. She had lots of thoughtful ideas for us throughout the wedding planning, she would send us photos when she saw items that might be nice decorations to go with the look/"theme" of our wedding. In addition to standard calligraphy on envelopes & place cards, we ended up using her help for some last minute DIY projects. For example, at the rehearsal dinner we used actual seashells as place cards. Patti did such a beautiful job writing everyone’s names on the shells. Patti does more than just calligraphy & is also a talented sewer. She custom made 2 small heart shaped pillows for us to resemble traditional German gingerbread cookies, like the ones you see at Oktoberfest. The time & effort she put into all her work far exceeded the pricing she charged.

We got tons of compliments on her work (from guests who received invites to strangers at the post office.)

The groom was from Germany, so we had some difficult European names & addresses on our guest list. We did have to send a few items back to Patti for spelling corrections, but she was very fast to send replacements at her own mailing expense & made sure we had everything on time. (This might not even be an issue if you have all American names / addresses.)

Patti's beautiful calligraphy, thoughtful planning suggestions, the extreme amount of effort she put into custom DIY projects & her low costs definitely deserve 5 stars!

Patti was such a big help for my wedding! My husband and I got married in Rhode Island but since we were living in California at the time, we needed to trust someone else with the details we could not handle ourselves. Patti helped put my mind at ease and designed gorgeous lace bows for our church ceremony as well as a unique and creative placecards, hospitality baskets and table frames for our travel-themed wedding. I didn't worry about a thing on my wedding day knowing that Patti was there to help execute everything flawlessly! Thank you again Patti!

We used Simply Done after our first calligrapher messed up our invitations and we had to order all new envelopes and belly bands. Patti was great! She did exactly what I wanted and in only a few days. We used her for our place cards and labels for our candy table as well and they looked great.

We were so fortunate to have found Patti. We were looking for a caligrapher and found not only the best in the business but a wedding planner to boot! We were well into our planning when we met but we were able to use many of her services. She is uniquely creative and personable and she works hard to customize her services to the individuals she is working with. Patti is skilled in assessing the needs and wants of her clients in a very short time and you end up feeling like she is an old friend you've known forever. Her recommendations and services saved us a great deal of stress and money and we received tremendous compliments at the wedding for all her creations.

Patti did an amazing job with my place cards! I am so happy with the way they turned out. She knew exactly what I wanted and she went above and beyond my expectations. Patti, simply, subtly, unobtrusively, created the perfect wedding for the bride and groom (and their parents/families). Patti took our vague ideas and spun them into what we had tried to imagine. A February wedding in New England......during the 10th snowiest winter ever! This had all the ingredients of a nightmare.........Patti's expertise, guidance, and boundless creativity put all of that to rest. She started with our November shower with its Fall in New England theme. We had beautiful invitations that reflected my daughter's personality. This was followed by gorgeous, flawless calligraphy on our wedding invitations. The stage was set for our event. MY SON (a groomsman) was so overwhelmed by the beauty of the church upon his arrival that he took pictures of the many beautiful decorations with his cell phone and quickly sent them to the bridal party at the house. We walked into a winter wonderland of icicles on wreaths, snowflakes on pillar candles, and soft winterly lights hilighting the bride's entrance. Patti directed us to our wonderful limo service who went above and beyond to get us safely beyond an ice slicked street and into and out of the church. Our photography team was totally captivated with the many photo ops offered by the setting. Patti found us the perfect Officiant in Lisa Ann to such an extent that people thought that she had known Johanna and Jer all their lives. On to the reception.....Our centerpieces were truly unique (sleighs) and beautiful. She did the head table so that it stood out and glowed with light and winter charm. I spent this wonderful evening enjoying myself because of Patt's planning and embracing our theme. She is a creative whirlwind who brings her expertise and energy to an event. I can't say enough.

After losing my father suddenly before my wedding - I lost all interest in planning the glamourous New Year's Eve wedding that I had had my heart set on. Patti did it all . . . The church was decorated, the chairs at the hall, the place cards had little poinsetta's on them, even my toasting glasses (which I didnt' even think about, nor did I supply) were decorated. She thought of everything, made everything possible, and still pulled off the wedding of my dreams. From the bottom of my heart - thank you - I NEVER could have done it w/out you.

Ms. Davis provided exceptional service and far surpassed my expectations relative to her professionalism, efforts and level of comittment to her products. I highly recommend Ms. Davis as an event coordinator beyond compare.

Patti did an exceptional job with my calligraphy. Many guests called me to compliment how beautiful the invitations were...especially the calligraphy (and some who normally don't even like calligraphy). The best thing was Patti knows ALL the etiquette, so I didn't have to worry about a thing. Turn around time was exceptional. It was wonderful to pick the style of calligraphy I liked. She will also keep it on file, so it remains unique to that customer if friends decide to use her too. Definitely worth the money! It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL.

The bride's box that was made for me was a wonderful addition to our celebration. It really added a personal touch to a standard card box. I now keep my wedding memories in it!

I can't say enough about Patti and Simply done...our wedding was wonderful, thanks in large part to Patti! She understood exactly what I wanted and had such great ideas! She is so creative and her calm, organized manner was exactly what I needed in all my wedding planning craziness! When I saw her right before I entered the church I was finally able to relax and enjoy the day, I knew we were in good hands!

Simply done... did a wonderful job adding a personal touch to my wedding. I first contacted Patti at Simply done... to do the calligraphy for my wedding invitations. She does beautiful calligraphy and helped me manage my invitation schedule to ensure we could finalize our headcount well in advance of the venue’s deadline. I did have to ask for some changes after providing my initial list, and Patti was very accommodating with my change requests. (I recommend that you proof the invitations one final time yourself before mailing them out just to ensure no changes are needed.) Based on her expertise and creative ideas, I also asked Patti to do my place cards as well as add some other special touches to my wedding to make it more personal such as “Mr. & Mrs.” signs for the backs of our chairs at the head table and a “picnic basket” gift card receptacle with personalized detailing that complemented our outdoor summer wedding. Patti is very artistic and can provide you a variety of suggestions to make your wedding your own. On top of that, she is really a lovely person and a pleasure to work with and her prices are very reasonable and affordable.

Patti is very creative and experienced. she offers a wide array of ideas and is more than happy to follow individual preferences.

She made a lovely place card board, that rested on a tall easel and hand calligraphied all of the 97 place cards! Patti also created a beautiful gift card box. both were placed just outside the banquet room for the wedding dinner.

Patti has great energy and enthusiasm. it was a pleasure to work with her and i would not hesitate to recommend her for just about any special venue/event!
