They are the absolute best! Patrick is the guy to ask for. He made the entire day super easy, and was also super nice and lighthearted, making everyone laugh. He calmed our nerves when it got a little tense at times, was very considerate of our elders in the group, and had extreme attention to detail when it came to directing photography and music. I couldn’t recommend him enough!

Thanksgiving Eve wedding
We Called Simple Wedding day about a month prior to our wedding date, not sure if we could find someone to make things work for us. Pastor Holt was phenomenal! Patrick was wonderful. The ceremony for our 20th wedding anniversary vow renewal was perfect. Eveything went just as planned and went smoothly. We came from WV and the communication was great. Photographer captured great pictures and we didn’t have to do anything but show up. Would highly recommend for your wedding or intimate vow renewal such as ours.

Best on the beach!!!
My wife and I had the amazing opportunity to have patrick officiate our wedding. Shelley and patrick were more than willing to travel the 5.5hrs to help us with our big day. Patrick did an amazing job and was very flexible with us. Very willing and open to ideas as well. He also did an amazing job with communicating with us before the big moment and whole time leading up to it. We had a few on the fly request and patrick didn't hesitate to make it work, he made it seamless at that. Shelley, Patrick's wife, owner of guys and dolls hair salon in Murrells inlet, did my wife's hair and did an amazing job, I also highly recommend them for hair and makeup services!

Amazing Officiant

Rev Benjy Simmons was wonderful !
Rev Simmons responded to us immediately to help us out. We were to get married in Vegas and our honeymoon in Myrtle Beach, SC. I got sick and the plans were cancelled. We found the wedding Wire website to make plans to get married in Myrtle Beach and emailed Simple Weddings if he could help. He called us back right away and chatted with us. Then Rev Simmons emailed us step by step how to get our license fast and we set up a date while we were in Myrtle Beach. He came to our location at the Marriott and married us. In addition, he provides a service to take pictures which he took many pictures and gave them to us on a disk. He walked us to many places within the Marriott and the beach to take pictures. They turned out beautiful. He downloaded the pictures to our computer when we got home to enjoy. Also, Rev Simmons took pictures for us on the iPhone so we would have some to send to friends and family immediately. Rev Simmons was professional, extremely helpful, friendly, did a beautiful job. He saved our day. We would highly recommend Rev Simmons. He is truly wonderful.

Simple Wedding Day is outstanding!
My husband and I found Benjy through internet search. We live in Virginia and visit SC often during the summer and knew we wanted to get married there. Benjy was heaven sent to us. He made everything SO easy from the first conversation we had until we said I Do. He assisted with planning, coordinating and even sending out signed wedding licenses at the end so we didn’t have to worry about it. When our venue got changed last minute (literally the day before our wedding due to weather) Benjy spoke with the DJ, coordinated with our other planner and didn’t even blink with the transition to new space. He even was willing to help us find a new venue to use. We had multiple family members come up to us after the wedding saying how wonderful he was, how eloquently he spoke and how perfect his choice of words was. We felt so comfortable with him during a time that is extremely nerve wracking standing in front of a bunch of people staring at you. One day, my husband and I will renew our vows and we will go right back to Benjy. Even though we didn’t get to utilize his full services provided including getting sand on the beach prepped and having him set up/take down chairs on the beach strictly due to weather, I have no doubt that everything still would have gone smooth. We put full trust in Benjy! Above all else, he is a really genuine and great person, which assisted with the process being so smooth. We recommend Benjy 1,000x over!!

June 19th Vow Renewal
Rev. Simmons performed our Vow Renewal on our 10 year anniversary....and gave us a beautiful memory we will always cherish!! He is very detailed and took the time to find out what was important to us. He recognized that our kids and grandkids are our world and helped us to incorporate them into the sand ceremony. He is so warm and friendly...made us feel like we'd known him forever!
We chose to use his services for pictures instead of a professional photographer and were very happy with the pictures. They turned out beautifully. I was very excited that he downloaded all the pictures onto an SD card right then and there so there was no wait for us to see and share them!
We are so very glad we chose Rev Simmons to officiate! He was the perfect choice!

highly recommend Rev Simmons and his professional team for your special day. I didn’t know where to start when planning our simple beach wedding and Rev Simmons made it easy, stress free and beautiful. He had the right amount of communication and information from the time we first spoke to him to the day after our wedding.
Everything was set up and planned. All we had to do was show up and enjoy our time.
We met up a little early, as he set up the beach with the archway and chairs and spoke to the photographer and videographer. They helped us take some pre pictures on our cell phones while we wait for the professional pics.
Everyone was very nice and clear and the wedding was short and sweet.
We were all very happy and satisfied and I would do it the same way if I had another choice! Thank you for your services and support through this important time for our family.

My husband and I got married in December 2022 and hired Benjy as our ceremony officiant. Benjy is absolutely INCREDIBLE! He came highly recommended from our wedding venue, Pawleys Plantation, and I can absolutely see why. Benjy made the entire process so easy and stress free, and has very reasonable prices, especially compared with how crazy expensive wedding vendors can be. Total perfection and amazing experience
Benjy went above and beyond with his duties and definitely met our expectations. Couldn’t have been more simple and professional experience. My wife Taylor and I loved every minute. Absolutely exceptional!
We were married on 9/12/21 by Reverend Simmons. He explained everything from how to obtain the marriage license to the perfect location for us. We are from out of state but was extremely happy with the location, Myrtle Beach State Park. It was absolutely gorgeous! And with only about 4 hours notice, he put up the bamboo archway for us. I would highly recommend Reverend Simmons. Thank you so much for a beautiful ceremony.

Amazing, professional, fun, helpful!
We called him about a week before we were coming for vacation and wanted to do our wedding! He was very helpful in understanding the entire process and what all we needed! The day of the wedding he made sure that the timing was perfect for photos and everything! He walked me through each step, explained the process, and gave me detail notes about payment, marriage licences information and getting a photographer. Also, he was very accommodating when we had to postpone our wedding by 3 months due to Covid-19. The wedding ran smoothly and a lot of that goes to the planning help of Rev. Benjy Simmons. Reverend Benjy Simmons was phenomenal during this time of crisis with Covid 19. He made specific arrangements with us so that we were still within the social distancing regulations as well as setting up an amazing wedding venue right on Myrtel beach. Dream July 4th Sunrise Wedding!
Pastor Benjy Simmons of Simple Wedding Day in Myrtle Beach was amazing to work with! We contacted him just a couple of months in advance of our wedding and he helped us plan our July 4th Sunrise ceremony at Surfside Beach. He was very helpful in telling us where the best places would be to get our marriage license ahead of time since we live out of state. He was also very patient when our service of only the 2 of us turned into us plus 15 guests! We talked a few times before the date and he made sure we knew what to expect, where to meet and even helped us with our communications with the photographer. Our ceremony was absolutely perfect and we couldn't have handpicked a better pastor than Benjy! He is very personable and you feel like you have known him for years. All of our guests had nothing but great things to say about him and his professionalism. We highly recommend Simple Wedding Day, LLC and Benjy Simmons to anyone who wants to get married or renew their vows in the Myrtle Beach, SC area!

Better than I even imagined
Rev Benjy was absolutely amazing. He was very responsive to calls and emails as we live out of state. While we wanted to keep the ceremony short for our guests sitting in the heat, he did that but also made it beautiful. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful wedding.

Rev. Benjy Simmons became a part of our wedding day because the officiant who contracted with us had a wedding vendor show to attend instead. Let me tell you- WE ARE SO HAPPY he was a part of our big day!! He was very responsive, prepared (even when planned a day ahead), and so friendly. He did a wonderful job making our wedding ceremony perfect and we wouldn't change a thing about it!!

Benjy Simmons was very accommodating and was able to perform our wedding at the home of my husband's brother. I could not have found a better officiate. Rev. Simmons was wonderful. Vow Renewal
Wanted a vow renewal but also the whole wedding experience because we had went to the courthouse to speed up the process. He was super sweet and respectful and made my "second" wedding everything I could have wanted! The beach theme was beautiful and the park they set up at was clean and not crowded considering it was the week of the 4th. Loved it!

Wonderful officiant!

Can't say enough good things about Benjy's service!! My bride, Maggie, and I were married last Saturday (04-13-2019) in a service that was amazing. Benjy showed up on time and ready to go, and had a beautiful spot on the beach for us with plenty of chairs and a beautiful arch for us to have our ceremony under, complete with a walkway full of rose petals. All our guests bragged to us about the great looking setup, even had one tell us that it looked like something straight out of a fairytale. And, the photographer (Randall) and DJ (Miriam) that worked with Benjy were also top-notch in every way. If you want to get married on the beach, choose Benjy Simmons' Simple Wedding Day as your officiant, you'll be extremely pleased I guarantee!!

What a wonderful experience we had with Benji!
We had no worries about the day of the ceremony. With only 5 days notice he was able to help us put everything together and all we had to do was make sure we applied for the license.

Rev. Benjy Simmons is wonderful! He performed our ceremony at the MB Train Depot and it was incredible. Rev. Simmons kept in touch with us from the time we scheduled him, to just check in and see if we needed anything. He gave us recommendations for other vendors we needed which was super helpful. He sent us several ceremony options and told us to choose whichever and change it however we wanted to. It was great being able to customize our ceremony. On the day of he was there and ready to go. He got our licenses signed and explained what he would do/what we needed to do to get copies and such. The ceremony was beautiful. It was so natural and wonderful. Everyone commented on how lovely the ceremony was and we are very thankful that Rev. Benjy made it so. I highly recommend!!

Rev. Simmons was superb. Our wedding was at Grande Dunes Ocean Club. Even though we live out of state, Benjy made sure that we met face-to-face before our wedding day. We talked about our goals for our day and he met them. He brought humor and genuineness to our ceremony. He made sure to accommodate our wishes to write our own vows. Benjy was great! He is super easy to work with and flexible to make your ceremony exactly as you want it. He is also quick to answer his emails in case you ever need help with anything or have any questions. We were very pleased with having him marry us!
