Avis was amazing in every category with our wedding❤️

Avis got back with us quickly every time we had a question. She helped make our wedding on the beach perfect! Everything went very smoothly! She brought me a beautiful bouquet and both of us a flower to wear that matched along with a just married sign and other items to make our day perfect. Our pictures turned out great with the sunset and it was a wonderful experience! She takes care of so much we didn’t have to worry about anything! Excellent service, prompt response and full details explained

I wanted something simple and stress free with only one week to plan and I came across Avis. She was absolutely the best and gave me more than I could imagine. She had everything planned out in full detail even including my little boys, all we had to do was show up. The ceremony, the words, the vows exactly what I wanted. I am forever thankful and my wedding fell on a beautiful sunset evening on the beach.

Amazing!!!

Avis helped us out when the world got crazy and we wanted to continue with our plans of marriage! Within a week we had found a booked her to perform our ceremony!! She was so helpful and understanding! We couldn’t be more happy with our experience with simple seaside ceremonies!!

Worry free special day

Avis is very organized, personable, and flexible. She is knowledgeable about the marriage laws and businesses that operate for weddings in the community. She works well with today's technology allowing you to book her from anywhere. We were pleased by the couple of day of surprises she had to make our day special.

Avis was really wonderful! She was very sweet and provided a verbal and written transcript for us. My husband and I do not practice religion and she had a very beautiful ceremony based on friendship and love that made us so happy.

The perfect choice!

Avis was Amazing!

I would highly recommend Avis! She was absolutely amazing. Very helpful throughout the entire process and had everything organized and ready to go that morning. Also very flexible and gave us a lot of info regarding the different beach locations that we could have the ceremony and how/where to process all of the paperwork.

International Wedding

Since we are an international couple living in Germany, we had very many questions and needed more help to organize our wedding as you can imagine. Avis was extremely helpful and very professional. From out of state but in good hands!

We had the pleasure of working with Avis for our January 1st ceremony and I can't say enough about how wonderful she was! She smoothed last-minute issues and was so accommodating to our needs! Searching for someone out of state to marry us was nerve-racking, but from my first conversation with her I felt totally at ease and knew that we would be in good hands. The day of the ceremony she was so kind and patient with us, and we enjoyed her readings so much. I can't recommend her enough to do justice to the awesome service that she provides. We will forever be grateful to her and her sweet husband who accompanies her to her ceremonies. Thank you, Avis!

A Wonderful Simple Beach Wedding

Simple Seaside Weddings created a relaxed yet professional atmosphere for our "simple" beach wedding. We were more casually dressed, and it was my husband, our 4 adult children, and I, which is why we called it simple. Avis, our wedding officiant, was a pleasant, genuine, and kind lady who made our special day absolutely perfect. We highly recommend her services to anyone wishing to marry in or near Venice, Florida!

Avis came through for us and made it such an easy experience

We contacted her just a couple of weeks before our wedding because we couldn’t decide who we wanted to do our ceremony. We thought we wanted a friend or someone close to us. As it got closer I became apprehensive about that so we checked around and Avis was local and surprisingly available on our day. She was really responsive to our requests and has sooo many ceremonies to choose from. We found the right one for us and even added on a couple of others too. We were able to integrate our children from our previous marriages and it was great. I would highly recommend Avis for your wedding!

Simple beach wedding

Avis was absolutely wonderful. From the first time I contacted her she kept me up to date every single step of the way. I am from Indiana and got married in Florida and she took care of everything. I would recommend her to everyone looking to get married in Florida:)

Avis was great! She was flexible being that the groom and his family was a little bit late. I was really worried about that, but she was kind and put me at ease. You can tell she really enjoys doing this.

Incredible!

I called Rev. Avis Brangan 5 days before our wedding due to our officiat cancelling last minute. We were worried that everyone would be booked and that there would be a huge fee for booking last minute. That was not the case. Rev. Avis Brangan was there to help us through the entire process and was true to her word from the very start. She was professional, courteous, and very experienced. We couldn't have made a better choice when we called her. She stated in touch with us for the following 5 days and was willing to do whatever we needed to make sure our day was more than special.

Awesome Experience

Avis was very communitive, she offered many different ceremonies to choose from and of course things could be changed. We incorporated my children as much as possible during the ceremony. She was very helpful.

I would definitely recommend Simple Seaside Ceremonies to anyone having a small beach or backyard wedding. Simple Seaside Ceremonies is simply wonderful! Rev. Avis was very professional and so helpful . offered a variety of ceremonies to choose from( I chose a beach ceremony ,including a sand ceremony and sea shell toss in the ocean) She is very knowledgeable in obtaining license permits etc...even took license to courthouse for us to be registered. Would not have done it any other way It was perfect!

Avis was great and very helpful with any and all questions I had. It was much simpler with all the information she provided that I would need for my out of state wedding. Avis provided me and my husband with many different options for readings for the ceremony. Also Avis provided a folder with the days ceremony for a keepsake, brought a adorable "just married" sign for pictures. Also We included the seashell toss which we really liked. We just really appreciate the quick responses, the additional pictures, and the help to be able to move my attach closer to the ocean! Thanks for helping me with my day!

Avis did an amazing job for our wedding! I was pretty clueless as of what order everything should go and such but she was very helpful in every aspect. She also has the best price that i could find in sarasota! Very professional and sweet. If you are looking for an officiant i would recommend giving Avis a call, she takes the time to talk to you and make things easier.

Avis Brangan is absolutely fantastic!! I would 100% recommend her! My husband and I planned a short notice beach wedding! After I first emailed Avis, she called me right away and provided me with all the information I needed! She is so sweet and professional! She arrived early when we met her we immediately felt so comfortable and at ease! She far exceeded our expectations! She took several wedding photos afterwards and made sure they were to our liking! We are from the UK and from the time I contacted Avis of SSC, I instinctively new everything would be just as I expected. Avis took the time to email me on a number of occasions to ensure everything was going to plan. Once I arrived in Englewood Beach she contacted me to ensure all was set. What a memorable ceremony we had on the beach, and Avis could not have done any more, just perfect.

Our wedding turned out exactly like I had hoped. Avis made it easy and her folder full of information for how to change my name etc is wonderful. I would strongly recommend her. My head is still in the clouds from our magical day. We put it together fast and instead of stressed and feeling like I forgot something I was able to just enjoy the moment. I'm a very happy bride !!

Simple Seaside Ceremonies was the best decision we could have made for our special day! Avis, our Officiant, was very helpful when we ran into a snafu on our wedding day. All our guests were there and as she was reviewing our marriage license noticed that the effective date was not until the next day! We were devastated until she told us she could still perform a commitment ceremony for us. Everything was exactly the same the only difference is we actually did not get married on that day. It was beautiful and wonderful and all our guests still got to participate in the ceremony. She also performed our actual marriage the next morning at no extra charge! She was very flexible as to where we wanted to have our ceremony and also very helpful with the set-up and everything we needed to do to make sure our day went well. I highly recommend Simple Seaside Ceremonies for your wedding day!

Avis was very professional from the moment I first contacted her. She always responded quickly and was very flexible accomodating my desire for both my parents and my husband and I to renew our vows on the beach. I didn't know much about the beaches in the area and her suggestions helped me to choose. She offers several different types of ceremonies. I would highly recommend her to anyone!!

Avis was exceptional. She is very experienced and thorough. She is very professional. Avis does so much more than just stand up and give a few words. She gives you options of what type of ceremony you would like, she offers you to customize your ceremony. She is very aware of local vendors for decorations, receptions, honeymoons, name changes, you name it. She is very prompt. I can't say enough good things about our experience.

Avis was wonderful to work with! She is very quick to respond to calls and emails. Avis allowed us to create a very personal ceremony. We are so thankful we found just the right officiant for us and would highly recommend her...especially if you want more than just a quick I do ceremony!

Avis is an officiant who truly cares. She worked incredibly hard, and we cannot thank her enough for all she did to make our day perfect. We talk often about how many special lifetime memories we have from that day. Our guests loved participating in the "warming of the rings" and the "seashell toss" (both were recommendations Avis made, and they were perfect for us).

From allowing us to personalize our ceremony to providing great ideas and recommendations, Avis went above and beyond for us, and I am so grateful that she was our officiant on our wedding day.

What a great experience we had with Simple Seaside Ceremonies. Avis took the time to help us plan and write our own ceremony. She had great suggestions, that we would not have thought of. Anytime we had a question, she was always quick to respond. On the day of the wedding, when things could be hectic, she made it move like a well tuned time piece. Avis also went the extra mile on her own, have sunglasses for the children. Such a nice touch. We would highly recommend Simple Seaside Ceremonies for all your wedding needs..
