Tara I cannot thank you enough for making us all so beautiful. From the start Tara was so professional and calm. She listened to me, and even traveled to North Jersey super early for my wedding. My hair lasted all day and night, and until the next day. My bridesmaids are looking back at their hair and absolutely in love. You all need Tara!! -

I cannot recommend Tara and Simple Elegance enough! She was an absolute dream to work with on my wedding day. From the moment she arrived, she was so sweet, calming, and professional — exactly the energy I needed on such an important day.
She listened closely to what I envisioned, and somehow made it even better than I could have imagined. My hair looked stunning, and the best part is it lasted all day and night! Even through hours of photos, the ceremony, and a full night of dancing! Not a single pin out of place.
So many of my guests commented on how beautiful my hair looked, and I truly felt like the best version of myself. Tara made my hair and I look better than I ever had before! If you're looking for someone who is not only talented but also warm and reliable, Tara is your girl. She made me feel so special, and I’ll be forever grateful! -

Tara was absolutely amazing! I got married on LBI in June right on the beach, Tara did my hair, along with my mother in law, sisters & bridal party, everyone could not stop raving about how their hair styles came out! She was super affordable, and flexible even for my hair trial! We both had some tweaks we wanted to make post my hair trial, and she made sure on my wedding day I looked stunning! And for being married on the beach and outside for several hours during summer, my hair held up the entire night! Even after a night of dancing! I can not thank her enough for making me feel like a princess! -

Magical and Amazing!!
Tara and Miriam are absolutely amazing!! They are so easy to talk to, kind, sweet, and professional! My wedding morning was a little chaotic and they made it so easy to not have to worry about anyone! I didn’t really know what I wanted for my wedding look and they totally made my dreams come true! I felt so beautiful and confidant! HIGHLY recommend!! -

Tara is brilliant with bridal hair design. She blew me away at my trial - there was no mirror so I had no idea how it was progressing, and when I looked in the mirror when she was done, it was unbelievable. She completely replicated the photo I had provided (with extensions) and I absolutely loved it! On my wedding day, Tara nailed it again and made me look/feel like a gorgeous bride. My Mom, MIL, and bridesmaids all looked beautiful as well - everyone was happy with her work. Thank you Tara, and I recommend Simple Elegance to all brides who want to look/feel perfect on their big day. -

Hair Held All Day
Amazing experience from booking to the hair trial to the actual wedding day. Transparent on pricing, answered my questions, and kept my entire bridal party on track for a smooth wedding day. My hair was finished at noon, but held through pictures, ceremony, and LOTS of dancing at the reception until I took it out at midnight at the hotel. WOW! Thank you! -

From the trial to my wedding day Tara was amazing! Patient, efficient, and so fun to work with! She took example pictures and then knocked it out of the park with extras and requests. All my girls and moms were treated like royalty and our flower girl even got special treatment. Tara was a dream to work with, 1000/10! -

Tara did 7 people's hair in my wedding, and did an incredible job. Everyone's hair was different, she did hair with extensions, short hair, long hair, up-dos, you name it. She was an absolute pleasure to work with! Definitely recommend! -

I found Tara through Miriam (Jersey Girl Makeup) since they mostly work together with their two businesses. I'm so glad I did because her work is GORGEOUS! I found a lot of inspiration on her Instagram and she was able to work with me to create the perfect look. After the trial hair did not stay very long, we discussed changes and Tara was very friendly and helpful. My wedding hair stayed on point all day, apart from a few stray pieces. She also did my bridesmaids and my 7 year old niece! She was very patient and kind with my niece and her LONG hair. Highly recommend hiring Tara along with Miriam, they are a great team and so sweet. -

Great with thick and coarse hair
My hair is very hard to style and I usually end up doing it myself for weddings. But Tara did such an awesome job. Looked great all day. I was extremely happy with how it turned out. -

Tara is wonderful! She is super friendly and listened to exactly what I wanted for my wedding day! There were a few changes that I had in mind following my trial and she did not question it! Tara was super nice and professional when she did hair for me, my bridesmaids, and my mother in law. She did exactly what we wanted and everyone’s hair came out gorgeous! She ensured that everyone’s hair was ready to go by the ceremony. Pricing is also super reasonable compared to other vendors. Highly recommend!! -

Absolutely Beautiful Hair!!
Tara's work comes out so beautiful every single time! My hair ended up looking just like the examples I showed, if not better! Plus, Tara used just the right products so that my style would stay in place all day - which it did. From late morning to around midnight, my hair looked great, despite all the running around and dancing on a SUPER windy/rainy day.
Tara was also super flexible when scheduling the trial and for the day of the event. Working with her was so simple. She's super responsive, reasonably priced, and a sweetheart!! Highly recommend! -

Amazing!!!!
Tara was so awesome through the whole process! She traveled to my location for my trial and my wedding day hair. Both times I received many complements from friends and family. She also did an amazing job with my bridesmaids hair!
**tip: if having lots of curls, a lot for extra time. Beautiful but takes a little longer than the average 45 minutes -

Tara was such a pleasure to work with. Tara was immediately responsive to my initial emails requesting pricing and flexible as details were refined and plans changed. Through the day of my wedding, she was so professional, punctual, talented - and of course, so sweet. I had reached out to other hair stylists prior to Tara who were priced higher, didn't want to work with such a big group, or were difficult in general. Tara made everything a breeze, and we communicated directly via email to share ideas for wedding hair, scheduling for the day-of, and tips to help the day run smoothly. She communicated with me in the days leading up to the wedding, and on the day of, she was so good at keeping everything on schedule, which alleviated any extra stress from me. She even managed to fit in 2 little flower girls
(with very big hair dreams) despite them not being on our schedule. She is so so talented and did such a wonderful job making my whole party look beautiful! As if it couldn't get any better, I can’t tell you how many compliments I received on my hair, and that I looked like a princess. She not only captured my vision for my hair, but it was also voluminous and perfect through the whole night.
Her professionalism, punctuality, and skills were so necessary on my wedding day and I cannot say thank you enough. I could not recommend a better person to be a hair stylist for you and your bridal party on your big day! -

I chose Tara (simple elegance) to do my hair for my big day in August! Tara was quick to respond and answer all of my questions from the start! It was evident right away that she was professional, talented, and passionate about her work. I met with her for a trial and showed her some photos of looks I liked. She combined a few looks. The outcome was gorgeous! For my wedding, she did my hair, my bridesmaids', and my mom's hair. Tara is extremely talented! She was able to complete stunning looks for all different hair types, from super curly, thick, thin, to pin straight! Our hair stayed the whole night; through pictures, wind, and dancing! Not only is Tara unbelievably talented, she is personable, nice, and patient. She really listens to what her costumers want and provides a style that matches the request. Tara provides an experience that is stress free, timely, and thorough. She responds promptly and clearly to all questions asked. She even contacted me the week before the wedding to double check all details! She made the whole process completely stress free.
