Gorgeous and Delicious Cake

Judy Lee of Simon Lee Bakery helped us create our own original, gorgeous wedding cake. 2 layers were amaretto flavor and one was lemon. The amaretto was our absolute favorite, and that flavor will always remind us of our wedding now! We are trying to find it in a bakery near where we live in Connecticut so we can get one for our anniversary, but to no avail, sadly! Our guests loved the flavor as well and thought the cake was delicious. Judy was so helpful and sweet to us, and even gave us a little gift on our wedding day, which we were so grateful for! Thank you Judy and Simon Lee for providing us with such a perfect wedding cake and experience! We hope someday we can order online delivery from you! (Christina and Albert Jacobs)

Phenomenal!

I cannot express how much I LOVED my chocolate covered strawberries. I did not buy a cake from Simon Lee but had my heart set on my fav dessert which is choc covered strawberries and they did not disappoint! I think this is one of the only places in the Austin area that offers this and they were absolutely incredible. Affordable, communication was great, and the obvious, they were beyond delicious. So grateful. Thank you

Best cake EVER

We did many cake tastings, mainly because that was my favorite part, but no one held a candle to Simon & Lee. Their cakes were so light and flavorful, I could eat a whole piece without feeling like I had to be rolled out of the room. Simon & Lee is also family owned and operated and Judy was such a joy to work with! But the best part was that Judy was able to make perfect renderings of our sweet pups for our cake!! So many of our guests made a point to tell us it was he best cake they’ve ever had! We definitely agreed :)

Best cake ever!

Simon Lee Bakery is hands down the best bakery that you could get your wedding cake from! Or any other cake for that matter! Not only is it the best cake that I have EVER had, Judy is one of the sweetest people that I have ever met. She really helped my husband and I get the exact cake we wanted for our wedding! For our 1 year anniversary we went back to get a small cake from Simon Lee and Judy helped us to get a cake that looked like a miniature version of our wedding cake! It was amazing and tasted just as fantastic as I remembered. I will only ever order cakes from Simon Lee Bakery from now on! I can't wait for my next reason to need a cake! Huge thank you to Judy and the rest of Simon Lee Bakery for making us the cake of our dreams!

Superb Cakes!

Simon Lee Bakery has the best tasting cakes in the area! We recently ordered a small 3-tier cake for about 75 guests. We had no idea on design or flavor but at our initial meeting, they were so helpful on creating exactly what we envisioned. We were able to taste all the cake flavors (which were amazzzzing!) and were flexible on making the best cake within our budget. I highly recommend Simon Lee Bakery for any occasion.

No need to look any further - book this cake vendor!

I have been a customer of Simon Lee Bakery since 2005- there is not another bakery in town I would trust with our precious celebration treats. So, when it finally came time for my own wedding in 2018, it was a no-brainer that Simon Lee was going to be our cake vendor. True to form, both our wedding cake and petit fours were immaculately designed, and absolutely delicious! As expected, the cakes stole the show, and were the talk of the evening! They are made fresh the morning of your event, no matter the event, and are always moist, flavorful, and beautifully designed. You can tell they take great pride in their craft, and genuinely care about each cake they create. In my consultation for my wedding cake, Judy took great care to listen to and document my every wish, and sketched a design right there for me to see. She prepared an instant quote, and delivered the cake right on time the day of my wedding. From start to finish, Simon Lee Bakery was professional and the best in their class!

Simon Lee is the best! First off, a cake must taste great and Simon Lee cakes definitely do (we had 3 different flavors). In fact, our wedding planner says that she now only eats cake at receptions if the cake is from Simon Lee. Judy made a beautiful bride’s cake, adding her expertise to our Pinterest photos (and did I mention, it tasted great?!). However, the groom’s cake literally took the cake. We wanted to surprise the groom with two of his favorite things, chocolate cake and Home Slice pizza, so Judy make a big chocolate cake that looked EXACTLY like 2 large Home Slice pizza boxes stacked on top of one another with a pizza on top (half Margarita and half pepperoni with mushrooms and jalapenos – the groom’s favorites). It was so realistic that multiple guests questioned why we had pizza boxes/pizza on display at a black tie reception. Simon Lee was also super flexible, easy to work with and eager to please.

Simon Lee was the perfect choice for our wedding cakes! Judy was so extremely sweet and easy to work with and our cake tasting was a particularly fun and enjoyable experience. We loved how attentive she was to our vision for our cakes (we had two) as far as design and tastes went. On the night of, we were thrilled to see that the final products were just what we had hoped for, and the taste of the cakes were amazing. I am not one who likes overtly sweet wedding cake (which I voiced early on), and Judy guided us towards flavor profiles that suited this to a T. We just love this vendor so much and we're so glad that they played such a huge role in making our wedding day perfect.

When looking for a wedding cake, the bakery name that we most often heard was Simon Lee. Well, there is good reason for that! They are wonderful! From Art’s patience with my many questions before the tasting, to the incredible number of cake options available at the tasting, to the highest attention to detail to make this cake (or cakes) what the bride and groom desired, this company, under Judy’s leadership, provides the perfect answer to delicious and beautiful wedding and groom cakes. Simon Lee even provided our bridesmaids “charm” cake with no hesitation, understanding what was involved in creating a charm cake. There is a level of service that infiltrates every aspect of their business. Judy is fun, very interested in providing the exact cake design desired, and thorough in every interaction with her client. The followup afterward and real desire to forge a relationship with her clients is the “icing on the cake”.

We loved our wedding cake & grooms cake from Simon Lee! Best wedding cake I've ever tasted! And so accommodating on the design process! She did exactly what I wanted for both cakes! I just sent her a picture of, what I thought, I rather complicated design for the groom's cake & they handled it perfectly! I can't wait until our one year anniversary so we can eat the top of our cake! :)

I chose Simon Lee Bakery for my daughter's wedding cake because of my previous experience with their exceptional quality. I work in the wedding industry and have been fortunate enough to get to know Judy personally. I have also spoken with numerous brides over the years who love Simon Lee cakes. I went for a tasting with my daughter and fiance and was treated like royalty. We were served about 6 generous samples and each one was delicious. Judy discussed designs and cake sizes with us while we tried to decide which flavors to select. My daughter gave her a picture of what she wanted her cake to look like. Her fiance also described his ideas for the groom's cake. We were delighted with the finished products on the day of the wedding! The cakes were exactly as they envisioned, not to mention incredibly delicious! I highly recommend Simon Lee for outstanding cakes and also for professional service. Thanks, Judy!

I love, love, love Judy at Simon Lee Bakery. After a planning meeting, tasting 12 of the most amazing flavors of cakes, we planned a five layer cake with sugar flowers. I had some sugar flowers that were saved from my cake 35 years ago, and wanted to do something similar to honor my mother. After telling Judy the story about a letter my mom wrote, she suggested we use some of the flowers on the cake. I was amazed and so touched. So I sent some to her, saying just hide one or two in the bottom if they don't look too bad, and I was so shocked when the cake arrived and she had worked about 10 of the flowers into the design, and it was beautiful!! It meant the world to me. We also had a little dog peeping out from the edge of the cake to surprise the bride and groom. They were so excited!! Simon Lee went above and beyond to make a very sentimental mom's dream come true. And the cake was fabulous! Judy really cares about her work and she could not have made us any happier. Thank you so much!!!!!

Simon Lee Bakery prepared the cakes for our wedding and they were wonderful! The wedding cake was beautiful and exactly as designed, a three tier wedding cake of vanilla with cream cheese and red velvet with cream cheese layers. The staff at Simon Lee Bakery were great to work with and very helpful throughout the entire process. The Starbucks Cup Groom’s Cake was a huge hit and the detail was amazing! Many of our guests commented on how great the wedding cake tasted and that it was the best wedding cake they had ever eaten. I would highly recommend Simon Lee Bakery!

After having horrible customer service with another bakery in town I restarted my search for cakes and stopped after my first meeting with them! I brought my 4 year old daughter to the cake tasting with me and from the beginning they went above and beyond to accommodate not only me, but her as well. They brought her out a special cake with a pink tiara and when I explained a cake I was wanting from previous bakery Art went to the back and had them put together a sample for me to try. Their cakes are AMAZING! Light and fluffy but moist and dull of flavor! I couldn't be happier with my decision having Simon Lee Bakery for my wedding day!

The cakes here are delicious. Our guests loved the Salted Caramel flavor. The bakers are so extremely talented when it comes down to design, you can give them any picture of a cake and they can replicate it exactly!

For our wedding we got 2 cakes from her (bride and grooms cake) and they were both perfect!!! My wedding cake was nice and big and looked exactly like I wanted it too! Not only that but it tasted amazing! And I feel like a lot of wedding cakes dont taste that great but Simon Lee's cakes I think are the best in Austin and surrounding areas! The grooms cake was also perfect and my husband was thrilled! HIGHLY recommend this vendor!

Judy Lee of Simon Lee Bakery created the bride and groom cakes for our daughter's recent wedding. Every aspect of our experience with Judy and her team was first rate. Judy was able to expertly translate the bride and groom's visions for their cakes into a reality. Best of all, they were absolutely delicious! Because the wedding was in another town, the cakes had to be transported to our venue. This was accomplished without incident, and Judy's husband personally delivered the cakes for us. I would highly recommend Judy and her team for any event.

Judy Lee is absolutely THE best!!! Her creativity and talent are soooo amazing!!!
She created the bride and groom's wedding cakes for our daughter's wedding and our guests are still raving about them!!! They were divine and sooooo beautiful!!! Judy also created our gorgeous guest boxes filled with beautiful petit fours and macaroons... with touches of gold ...then tied with a gorgeous gold bow...Judy made our dreams come true!!! Thank you Judy for being such a dream to work with and creating these incredible memories for us!!!!

One tasting and they knew exactly what I wanted. The cake looked just as discussed and tasted AMAZING. People say that Simon Lee can be expensive, but for quality service on your wedding day, there is no price.

Simon Lee is amazing! The quality of the cake both exterior and interior is five star. I have to admit I was initially a bit nervous because I had a vision and I was not sure whether it would be captured but I'm happy to report that Judy and the team at Simon Lee went above and beyond my expectations. My husband and I live in D.C. but were married in Austin and Simon Lee made the entire process enjoyable.

I worked with Judy Lee and our cakes were amazing! We did tastings with four bakeries in Austin and Judy's cakes were by far the most moist, tasty cakes. We chose the Bavarian chocolate for the groom's cake and the strawberries and cream for the bride's cake. There were NO leftovers (unfortunately!) because the cakes were so good. I also was able to work with Judy within my budget.

The cakes are delicious! We had different flavors for the four layers (pistachio, white chocolate, pina colada, and strawberry) and all were equally wonderful. The chocolate grooms cake was also awesome! Thank you so much!!!! I've had guests still craving for the cakes!

Simon Lee made my wedding cake and grooms cheesecake. We have used them for years for all our family events, from birthdays to graduations. We had a red velvet and a vanilla with strawberry filling for the brides cake. The grooms cake was a cheesecake with graham cracker crust and chocolate drizzled on it. Needless to say the cake was gone in minutes and we even had extra sheet cakes in the back. It's never a bad thing when your guests go back for seconds on cake. My design was a lace overlay on a three tier cake and it looked just as good as it tasted. My husband and I would absolutely recommend simon lee to bride's and anyone looking for delicious desserts.

I found Simon Lee through the Bridal Expo last year. I tried many different cakes and flavors, and Simon Lee had the best tasting cake HANDS DOWN. So moist and the flavors are authentic, not artificial. Another thing that stood out was their cake displays. WOW so tall, detailed, elegant and beautiful. They have such a wide range of talent, doing not only wedding cakes, but grooms cakes, birthday cakes, specialty cakes. They make UT tower replica cakes for goodness sake! Simon Lee makes the unthinkable happen.

I worked with Judy from the get go, and she is just MARVELOUS. She was so helpful from the first consultation to the day of the wedding. I brought in some inspirational photos, and she took copious notes and really took my vision to heart. She copied my inspirational photo into my customer profile and sketched everything out so that I can approve. Very thoughtful and customer focused. She did both my wedding and groom's cake, and they were completely different concepts.

Simon Lee also has the BEST flavor combinations. I drool every time I look at her filling and cake flavor sheet. We did three different cake flavors and a unique filling for each, one for each tier. Judy helped us pick the best combinations and let us try each. They use the best ingredients and their butter cream is so velvety- it's to die for!

My cake turned out exactly how I wanted it the day of. I was able to rent one of her beautiful cake stands for a fraction of the cost. The sugar flowers are the best I've ever seen. They look so real and ethereal. The groom's cake took everyone's breath away and my husband was SO HAPPY!

I will recommend Simon Lee until the end of time!!!!!!!!!

Simon Lee Bakery is absolutely fantastic! Our whole experience from our first meeting with Judy Lee (who is so much fun and so creative), to the professional way they handled our order to delivery and set up was just perfect. And the results???? NO WORDS - they cakes (we had 5 different ones, including a croquembouche and a spiraled cake ball tower) were each of work of art and even better tasting! I'm getting hungry just writing this review! I would recommend them to anyone, and will certainly use them again!

If my husband and I could rate Simon Lee Bakery at a perfect 10, believe me we would!!! The work that Judy and Simon Lee Bakery create is unbelievable and their cakes are unlike anything I have ever seen. Our wedding cake was absolutely beautiful and it tasted just as good as it looked! My husband's cake was the absolute most unique and fun cake ever. My husband is obsessed with the Dallas Cowboys and as the groom's cake, Simon Lee Bakery made a life size Dallas Cowboys helmet sitting on top of a football field. It was perfect! I would absolutely recommended Simon Lee Bakery to any couple looking for a beautiful wedding cake. Simon Lee Bakery is by far above all other competition out there!

People are still talking about how delicious the strawberry cake was. We also had Italian Wedding cake and Vanilla which were complimented as well, the cake was decorated beautifully , and we were so happy with it.

One of the best vendor experiences I had during planning and what a tasty one! For the consultation they give you a ton of cake types and they're all delicious. I had tried quite a few cake vendors and I loved the moistness and the fact the cake was not too sweet as I found was frequently the case. They definitely showed me why they are the best in Austin!

First of all, the cakes we chose were delicious!

Our wedding cake and groom's cake was superb! During the tasting, she put my ideas on paper so quickly that I was a little nervous the day we were to have our cakes delivered. To my pleasure, they were perfectly done! Not only were they delicious and moist, but they looked so pretty!

The cakes were beautiful.Krystal (wedding coordinator) at Natures Point venue told me she had never seen a cake disappear so fast!! She brought me the last piece of grooms cake while I was on the dance floor. Unfortunately, I didn't get any brides cake. Too busy dancing!!! Everyone said it was great. I wish I had had the wherewithall when our numbers went up to call you and add some sheet cakes of each. Unfortunately, it didn't even cross my wedding brain dead mind!! We got so many compliments on our cake! We chose an orange cake with a pina colada filling and it was a huge hit. It was also very beautiful. We gave Simon Lee Bakery design control....I just asked for a round cake with squiggles and silver ribbon. It was very pretty.

I wish that they had typed contracts that were easier to understand instead of the handwritten one - there was some confusion about our grooms cake, but the cake was delicious, beautiful and arrived on time which is what matters!

Loved working with this bakery!! Both my wedding cake and the groom's cake were amazing! I never imagined I would fall in love with orange flavored cake with orange mousse - but once I tried it, I had to have it for my wedding cake. Absolutely delicious. The groom's cake was shaped like a BBQ grill and was chocolate cake. I can't rave enough about the design, the taste, and the professionalism from this bakery.

The cake was AMAZING! We got one of the least expensive ones because our budget for cake was not that big and HOLY COW did they deliver!!! It was so moist and rich and not to mention beautiful!

The people that work there are so sweet as well!

Simon Lee did a great job, not only in the design of the cake ,but the cake itself. Judy did a great job in the design, she made it look exactly like we wanted. The cake was DELICIOUS. We choose 2 cake flavors, orange and white, and 3 different fillings: orange mousse, Belgian chocolate mousse and strawberries and whipped cream fillings. We had guests who had 3 pieces of cake each, it was so good. We highly recommend them!

Hands down bar none the best cake EVER!!!!! Everybody loved the cake at our wedding none was left. My husband and I went to the Austin Bridal Expo and out of all the cake vendors Simon Lee was his favorite so we hired them. Judy is the sweetest and sooo talented and creative. She is the BEST in the business. Go with her is you want the best.

I tried Simon Lee cake at the first wedding expo I went to....and I knew at that moment that was going to be my cake vendor....I made an appointment r that away so that my fiancé (now husband )could try it...not only were their cakes amazing and beautiful...they were amazingly good down to the last bite....there service was very awesome and they were very pleasant to deal with and understanding of all our needs...when I saw the cake on our wedding day it was everything I could of wished for and more.... Love this Bakery!

We used Simon Lee Bakery for both our wedding and groom's cakes. They were both custom cakes designed at our tasting. I could not have enough good things to say about the individuals we worked with and the quality of the cakes. Simon and Judy were great to work with, they responded promptly to questions, payment was easy to arrange in installments and all details were confirmed by the bakery. The cakes were gorgeous/spectacular and our guests have commented that they were the best cakes they have ever tasted. We had a strawberry wedding cake with butter cream icing and fresh strawberries in 2 layers and strawberry ganache in the other 2 layers. Our grooms cake was chocolate with fondant icing and a rum, strawberry and kiwi filling. We were not huge fans of fondant icing from out other experiences but we thought it tasted great. Both cakes were excellent, not too rich or sweet, but still moist and flavorful.

Also, the tasting was a great experience and was really unusual compared to the others we attended because of all the different flavors we were allowed to taste and we were allowed to bring an extra person (MOG) without any charge. Judy was also able to take all the pictures of cakes we had liked and design something during the tasting that incorporated everything we liked about each cake. The showroom is amazing as well and a great place to see all their amazing products. We will be using this bakery from now on for any cake we need, it is worth every penny.

Judy did an amazing job. Her cakes are super delicious. The grooms cake was a party barge and it could not have turned out better. She added cake balls as details and she was able to execute my vision perfectly. Everyone was super impressed with her cakes and hands down she makes the best cakes.

Simon Lee provided a fabulous and beautiful wedding cake. Intricate cakes aren't really my cup of tea and I wanted something that would reflect the natural surroundings and classic elements at Star Hill Ranch. Judy suggested the "Simon Lee ruffle" that almost looks like bark etchings on a tree. As a chocolate girl, I was blown away by their fruit flavors and ended up with chocolate as our smallest layer, instead with vanilla with fresh strawberrys as a our bottom layer and their orange (oh my gosh, so so good) as our second layer and as our freeze layer. It was a painless process and so easy to work with.

My daughter's wedding cake was both beautiful and delicious! We received many wonderful praises from our guests about both the presentation ("georgeous") and the taste ("so fresh and delicious") that night. We brought the leftovers to a brunch the following morning and it received many additional praises.
Judy was a pleasure to work with and my daughter and I would definitely recommend Simon Lee Bakery as the "go to" bakery in Austin. We tasted several cakes prior to Simon Lee's, but Simon Lee's was far and above the others. The other bakeries did not even come close. Judy is extremely artistic and the cake really showed off her talents. She worked with us to provide exactly what my daughter requested.
I felt from the start that Simon Lee would do a wonderful job and that helped to set my mind at ease with this off-site wedding. (We live in Houston.) Thank you Judy and Simon Lee Bakery so much for contributing to the success of one of the best days of my life.

We tried about six different cakes before finally going to Simon Lee. Judy gave us huge portions to sample, all of which were amazingly delicious. She was very professional and listened to what kind of look we were going for. She drew out a sketch for us and quoted us a price on the spot. The pricing was actually not bad, and maybe even cheaper than some others we tried. They use all fresh ingredients, unlike the others, and do not freeze their cakes, which is why it was so moist and delicious. We booked them on the spot!

A few months after booking, I decided to make a few changes to the cake, which Judy was more than happy to make. Everything came out perfect for the wedding and the cake was simple,classy, and elegant. It tasted AMAZING, and everyone was raving about the cake all night. Several, and I mean several, of our guests went back for seconds and thirds, asking us where we got the cake from.

We got to save the top tier for ourselves, which was tiramisu (our fav). Needless to say, we ate it for breakfast the next morning, and devoured it within the following day. Don't judge us. :)

Simon Lee Bakery is definitely the best in Austin!

Judy at Simon Lee Bakery was absolutely amazing to work with! I had been to lots of different bakeries in Austin and had a very clear idea of what I wanted but was having a hard time finding a bakery that could fully understand my vision. Judy understood what I was wanting and even helped me to make my design even better with her professional suggestions! On the day of the wedding the cake arrived even better than I had anticipated!!! I suggest lemon cake, tiramisu, and buttercream cake! Each one was amazing! All of my guests kept commenting on how wonderful the cake was! Wedding cakes in general are pricey (Simon Lee's Bakery is comparable) but my wedding cake was worth every penny in the end! Thank you Judy for making my wedding cake even more amazing than I could have imagined!!!! I will definitely recommend you to friends and family!

This is THE wedding cake for the Austin, TX area!
Our cake was simply amazing: made all of our guests ultra happy, looked awesome, and tasted great!

Don't "listen" to yelp! People complain about Judy's "behavior" but this is just a cultural thing, Judy is super sweet and an amazing cake maker! We are so glad we went with her :)

Nothing Less Than Spectacular! Simon Lee bakery on a scale of one to five soars off the charts with a ten! Not only are the cakes the absolute best - ambrosia for the gods - their service and selection is stellar. Guests will be in awe of whatever style you select - perfection and attention to visual detail is incredible. The taste and flavor - your guests will go back for seconds, ask where the cake was made, insist on contact information and book Simon Lee for their own special event ... this is still happening. As the mother of the bride, and the groom a year later, I whole-heartedly recommend that you call Simon Lee for your special cake.

We did three tastings to find a bakery for the bride's cake. There were some good cakes in there, but Simon Lee's red velvet cake blew them all out of the water. I never thought I'd choose a red velvet cake for my wedding; I was stuck in the thinking that the bride's cake had to be a white cake with super decorative icing. This cake popped me back into reality. I decided then and there that I was going to pick a cake based on taste. The cake was delicious and it looked absolutely beautiful, with a little rhinestone bling to bring it all home. They also made a duplicate top tier of the cake for my mother to have the night of the rehearsal dinner. This way my mom got a preview (and her very own cake). She loved it!

There simply is NO OTHER CHOICE when it comes to selecting your wedding cake. Simon Lee bakery designs not only beautiful cakes but cakes that taste delicious. Judy not only captured the cake we wanted beautifully but she was completely easy to work with and delivered on every aspect of what we asked for. Everyone wants a beautiful cake but most of the time they don't taste as good as you'd hoped.. that is NOT the case with Simon Lee. Their cakes are simply DELICIOUS! This bakery deserves to become an Austin landmark!

When our first cake guy bailed on us three months before our wedding, we were completely stuck. I knew Judy had done a wedding cake for a friend of mine, so desperate, I gave her a call. She was able to come to our rescue and took us in the next day. We were so grateful. Our cakes were absolutely beautiful and we received several compliments on the taste. They are SUPER busy, so getting ahold of them sometimes can be hard, but be patient, they will get back to you. I'd STRONGLY recommend booking them at least 6-9 months outside of your wedding, especially in the busy wedding season times (March-June/September-November).

IS THAT MY WEDDING CAKE!!!! those were the first thoughts that popped into my head the second I saw my outstanding cake!!!!! It is TRULY artwork!!!!
WOW the people at Simon Lee Bakery are phenomenal! When my husband and I went for our cake tasting we could have easily chosen any flavor they offer! Judy is SOOOOOOOO SWEET!!
she asked me a couple of questions about my wedding colors, and what I liked, and then she was on a roll!!! she has so many incredible ideas! Any and Everything that I could have ever wanted was on my cake!
It took my breath away when I saw it! I thought to myself, that is what I dreamed of as a little girl! and here it is in front of me! There is so much time and detail that goes into what they do, and I am so thrilled with the result! Guests of my wedding have been calling me since then to ask me about the Bakery and COMPLIMENTING the look and flavor!

I cannot say enough good things about Simon Lee Bakery. Our orange and chocolate wedding cake was to die for! We received numerous compliments (even from non-cake lovers like myself) on how great the cake looked and tasted. I would highly recommend them and use them again for other events.

Judy----THe wedding cake and grooms cake were wonderful. The orange cream wedding cake was out of this world---so beautiful and what a wonderful taste. The red velvet groom's cake was a huge hit with the guys. The decoration was fantastic.
Judy--you were such a delight to work with. You were able to read our minds---Thank you a million times for being there and serving up excellence--in every way.

My fiance and I didn't want to serve a traditional wedding cake, but instead different types of pies. When we met with Judy from Simon Lee she helpfully suggested serving mini pies because they would be easier to eat and serve for the guests. Judy baked us the most delicious pecan, apple, chocolate mousse and blueberry pies we had ever had. We actually ran out at the wedding because the guests were going back for seconds and thirds!! Simon Lee is one of the most popular bakeries in Austin because they are known for their delicious and gorgeous wedding cakes, but their pies are phenomenal!

Simon Lee has the most delicious cake in the Austin wedding industry. Believe you me, I did the footwork. Their cake is made the DAY OF your event. It hasn't been prepped and frozen like most other vendors, and you can clearly taste the difference. It is the best cake you will ever eat. This is the vendor that my planner used for her own wedding, my caterer used when she got married, and my florist used for her daughter's wedding. It speaks volumes when wedding industry people only trust one baker for their big day. They were lovely to work with and even rented me a cake stand at the last minute! I HIGHLY reccomend Simon Lee Bakery!!

Delicious & Beautiful: I was so happy when I found out that my wedding venue Bella Notte on Main (Round Rock, TX) books through Simon Lee. Her cakes have been featured in a number of magazines as well as being top picks and consecutively been the Knot.com Winner. Simon Lee may not be the easiest person to get a hold of not the most personable, however her cakes are out this world.

Don't even taste anywhere else, or look for that matter. Simon Lee has the BEST cakes in the Austin area. Judy is one of the sweetest ladies you would ever want to meet. She is an artist and a master in her baking. Super delicious cakes and just beautiful! She really wants to know you personally and takes the time to find out what you want in your wedding cake. I had a different flavor in every layer, and was surprised that the price was so reasonable. Delivery was as scheduled with ZERO issues! If you taste other cakes, or think there is a comparison....there isn't. Judy's cakes are absolutely out of this world!

Simply the best. I had my wedding cake and groom's cake made by Simon Lee and truly cannot put into words what an amazing job they did. I had requested a standing Jack Daniel's barrel for the groom's cake and they created it perfectly. It looked real. Not only did both cakes look amazing they tasted wonderful. I highly recommend the chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling. Truly delicious. Judy at the bakery is wonderful to work with. She even called the Friday before the wedding just to check in. I really can't say enough wonderful things about this vendor. Use them and you will not be sorry!!!

There isn't another bakery that even comes close to Simon Lee. They are UNBELIEVABLE. Everyone at my wedding is still commenting on how the cake was the best they have ever had. I knew when I first started planning my wedding years ago, Simon Lee was going to be our vendor- no one else. I don't know why anyone else would go with any other bakery- they would be crazy! I went to several bakeries before deciding on Simon Lee Bakery. The decision came easy at the end since their cakes are pure perfection. I cannot say enough positive things about Judy and Jad, they were very friendly and professional. They went out of their way to make sure my dream cake was created. I was beyond pleased to see my cake come wedding day. It stood so lovely in the room. I had so many compliments on the cake and all my guests were amazing how beautiful the cake was and the fact that it tasted as good as it looked. It was like a piece of art with such detail. Perfection is what Judy and Jad are all about.

I highly recommend them. Especially when you want nothing but the best. Thank you again for making my wedding cake so memorable Judy and Jad.

What can I say about Judy except LOVE LOVE LOVE! Judy! I have some picky eaters in my family. Family from NY to CA and after 19 days of being married, they are still raving about it! Our cake was so beautiful and delicious! I had a slice for breakfast the morning after the wedding! You did an amazing job and did not disappoint. I have MANY guests who continue to tell me it was the best wedding cake they have ever eaten. Thank you for helping our vision come to life! Simon Lee is absolutely amazing! Judy is so sweet and accommodating and she really draws out (literally) what you're imagining for your cake and brings it to life. She and Jad are a great team...very talented and easy to work with. During our meeting we got to try a few different kinds of cakes and then we talked about the design, which, somehow through my clumsy description, she was able to carry out to perfection. The end result was beautiful and simple and it tasted absolutely delicious. We had three layers and three different flavors - vanilla with strawberry filling, plain vanilla, and red velvet and all three were a hit. We only had a little bit of cake left over at the end of the night, which we gladly took home and finished off within the next couple of days! I really could not have been happier with my experience with Simon Lee and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for both an artist and amazing baker!

THE BEST WEDDING CAKES IN TOWN!!! We loved everything about working with Simon Lee - the deliciousness of their cakes is unmatched, their look & quality of work is perfect, and their kindness and professionalism is rare. Judy and Jad took such great care of us.

I must have changed my mind about the style of cake at least 5 times - each time they were so helpful and patient. My final choice was actually one that Judy recommended and it turned out better than I could have imagined! She read me so well and got the cake spot on. I cannot stop looking at pictures of my cake!

Daniel's cake was a basketball on a sheet cake base that looked like a basketball court - amazing! The detail and accuracy of everything blew everyone away. We had so many guests tell us it was the best cake they've ever had and we completely agree.

Simon Lee is worth every delicious penny.

All I can say is,my daughter and I went to open house at Kindred Oaks in Georgetown and tasted Simon Lee cakes, and that's all we needed. She knew then what cake she wanted for her wedding and had a pretty good idea for her groom (husband-to-be) as well. We took the guys down for a visit and taste test, and dad and groom-to-be all agreed. The cakes were beautiful. My daughter (a chef) drew up her cake layers how she wanted them to be done, we sent them the ribbon trim by mail as we live in Arlington, and that was it. She did such a beautiful job!!!! The wedding cake with filling and fresh strawberries is to die for!

I was recently asked to handle ordering the wedding and grooms cake for a family wedding.......just weeks before the wedding date. I searched online and found Simon Lee Bakery. I made the initial call and spoke with Judy. She assured me that she could get the cakes done even with short notice. Judy met with me on a Sunday to finalize details because I do not live in her area. Long story short, Judy not only got the cakes delivered on time they were absolutely beautiful and exactly what we had ordered. Many guests said that they were the best tasting cakes they had ever had.....I agree. Judy gave me excellent customer service, beautiful cakes and a lasting memory of a great day. If you are concerned or stressed about an event that requires a cake......call Judy and let her work her magic!

The cake we got was an awesome cake. I really can't describe it with words, I need a picture. But they have some really creative and cute cake designs that I had a hard time pickign which one I wanted. My wife loved the cake too, and we both had a great experience with Simon Lee Bakery.

Simon Lee Bakery was amazing! I ordered the wedding and grooms cake and both were excellent tasting. The detail on the wedding cake was so beautiful that till this day my guests still comment on how the cakes were designed. Absolutely Gorgeous! It was a blessing to work with Judy and Jed throughout the process. They both shared their warmth and kindness and were open to all ideas. I got exactly what I wanted and I recommend them highly!

Our cake was just perfect. It was simply beautiful and was the best tasting cake I have ever eaten! Judy can work with all price ranges. You can get a professionally designed custom wedding cake for 100 people for as low as $300. Initially we chose Simon Lee for this reason, but when we knew we had more room in our budget Judy was flexible to work with and helped us tweak our order. The cake was delivered on time and was taken care of without us needing to attend to the delivery the day of. I would recommend Simon Lee for anyone planning a wedding regardless of budget.
