Simon is the BEST!! He was hands down the most easy-going, joyful and thoughtful person we could have ever imagined to work with as our wedding photographer. From the minute we met him, he felt like an old friend to us and made our small and intimate micro-wedding feel even more fun and happy. Before we met Simon in person, he took time on his own to go to our venue and check out different spots where he best envisioned us for photographs, and really aligned with us on what our personal visions were. He has a very cool eye for shots and such a love of nature, just like we have. He had such beautiful ideas that came out to be incredibly stunning pictures and we had a blast the entire time. We ended the night with an outstanding sunset that he captured SO perfectly. The photos are insane! I was in tears looking through them. He even sent us all of our photos edited within just a few days. I'm so happy we found him, we cannot praise him enough. Will be using him again for any future photoshoots!! -

Hiring Simon Anthony for our wedding day was one of the best decisions we made. Our wedding photos are amazing - we have so many gorgeous portraits and candids that truly capture the joy we were feeling all day long, it has been close to impossible to pick our favorites. His work truly speaks for itself, but on top of the stellar quality of his photography, he is an amazing person to work with. In our pre-wedding meetings, he helped us craft a great schedule for the day - one that fit everything we wanted, but still left time to enjoy all the small moments - and he navigated the day and carried everything out perfectly. He helped us - two kind of awkward/shy people in front of a camera - feel so comfortable, and he was able to super seamlessly float from groups of groomsmen to bridesmaids, between sets of families, and through dancing crowds, managing every group and moment with warmth and chill vibes. Your photographer spends essentially the entire wedding day with you as a couple, and you want that person to be like Simon - someone who is a truly talented professional but feels like a friend. Our only potential regret was not booking him for even more time that night and even opting for a second photographer. We love Simon and his work, we would choose him again a million times over, and we could not recommend him more highly to be your wedding photographer. -

BEST DECISION EVER. After picking our venue, Simon was the first choice we made for our wedding and quite literally the best decision ever! As soon as we saw Simon's work no other photographer even compared. Simon did both our engagement and wedding photos and I am so so glad. Simon took our vision for engagement shoot and executed it to PERFECTION. We were so in love with the photos we used them for our save the date and made a coffee table book of them to use as a guest book for our wedding and our guests would not stop talking about it!
When we first met SImon for our engagement shoot he was so easy to work with and made us feel so comfortable, we just felt like we were out on a date exploring the town with a friend.
SImon and Jaimee made our wedding day a breeze. From the moment they showed up we did not have to think of anything, they had everything down and allowed me and my husband to fully enjoy the day. He knows weddings and venues and made all of our photos SO easy, if you are worried at all about photo fatigue, Simon is the guy for you, he made everything so efficient and easy. We enjoyed our wedding to the fullest, from getting ready photos, to formal shots, ceremony, cocktail hour and reception shots....Simon got it ALL.
Seriously, I don't know how he did it but it truly felt like Simon was EVERYWHEREE, not a moment of our special day went undocumented. We are absolutely in love with every single photo. All of our guests also commented on how amazing he was. Not to mention, SImon and Jaimee are the nicest people you will ever meet and made all of us feel so relaxed and cheerful on the best day of our lives which is exactly what you need on your wedding day! Cannot recommend him enough!!!

Simon Anthony Photography could not have been a better choice for our wedding!! Simon’s skill at capturing emotion and working with lighting is unrivaled. I tend to get awkward in front of the camera but he blended seamlessly into the background and caught so many beautiful candids at every moment of the day–from getting ready to partying on the dance floor. We have so many favorites to choose from we can’t pair it down!! Simon also made us feel so relaxed on what has the potential to be a stressful day, and he genuinely felt like a good friend we’ve known for a while. Simon brings a chill, professional energy to his work, leaving no room for worry or doubt. He makes the day the best it can be, finds ways to go above and beyond, and has created hundreds of beautiful memories to look back on for us and our guests. We cannot recommend Simon enough!! Hire him, you won’t regret it!!! -

We were immensely blessed that Simon agreed to capture our wedding. As a couple that was doing a destination wedding in the mountains of North Carolina, he made our decisions incredibly succinct. He has a natural giftedness to capture your day in an authentic way. With our large families & wedding party as the centerpiece, he was generously kind with his personality and craft.... all of us (yes, even outside the bride and groom) will be cherishing his work for a lifetime to come. We are SOO excited to share our genuine thoughts on Simon Anthony Photography! We are from Florida and were planning our dream destination wedding in the NC mountains all by online research. I somehow by pure luck stumbled on Simon and initially just had such a good gut feeling about him. We scheduled an initial zoom call and I was proven right by how quickly and easily we connected with him and how it felt like we had known him for so much longer than just this one zoom call! Although he was initially a little over our budget, we knew we had to book him and went for it! His patience with my questions and thoughts were so appreciated during the wedding planning process and he made us feel so at ease during our last planning call right before the wedding day!
Come our big day, Simon fit so well with our group and felt like he was apart of our family/friends group so quickly. Everyone had so many good things to say about him and we quickly felt comfortable and natural in front of the camera with him. Our wedding day photos were beyond our expectations and perfect. He even delivered ALL our final photos much quicker than anticipated which was such a surprise and meant a lot to us!!! If you are considering hiring Simon, I cannot recommend him enough. He was definitely one of our best decisions made!!! Thank you so much for everything!! -

Simon is the absolute best!! We seriously cannot say enough amazing things about him. Having Simon photograph our wedding was such a huge part of making our day absolutely perfect. Not only is he super professional and organized in all of his communication and planning leading up to the big day, but he’s also just a dang cool guy. We had so much fun at both our engagement session and of course at the wedding. He sets the perfect vibe every time by bringing the best energy. He makes you feel calm and relaxed, but also hyped up and energized at the same time. You can tell he is so passionate about what he does and goes above and beyond. Like he even laid down in the dirt to get a cool shot of us with the trees above us. Seriously he is THE BEST. And all of the photos are absolutely gorgeous! The photos perfectly captured our personalities and our relationship. Looking through the photos I can just still feel the energy of the day and how much fun it was. He captured so many special moments, memories to last a lifetime. 12/10 stars! Highly recommend working with Simon, easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. -

I can't say enough good things about our wedding photographer, Simon. From the moment we met him, we knew we had made the right choice. He was professional, friendly, and had a clear vision for our big day.
We received our photos back promptly and were absolutely blown away by the quality and attention to detail. Simon captured every emotion and moment of our special day in a way that truly captured the love and joy of the occasion.
But beyond the beautiful photos, Simon was a true pleasure to work with. He made us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire process and was always there to answer any questions or concerns we had. Somehow he managed to strike the perfect balance by making us feel like he was an old friend who we could laugh and have fun with…but the responsible friend who is always on top of it and takes care of everything so we didn’t have to worry. He truly went above and beyond to make our day perfect and we will treasure the photos he took for a lifetime.

Simon is the best choice for your wedding photographer! We initially booked him for a traditional wedding and then switched gears a few months later and told him that we wanted to elope instead. He was incredibly flexible and willing to adjust his plans. And he made our elopement absolutely perfect! It was cold, windy, and rainy, but Simon was still game to hike with us and run all over taking pictures. My husband and I are both a little awkward in front of the camera, but we felt completely at ease with him and he really captured our genuine joy and love. The photos are stunning, and we can't recommend him enough! -

Simon was just what we were looking for! He was professional, managed his time well (we chose a shorter shooting timeframe) and still managed to capture all of the big highlights of our amazing day. Where to begin? I've known Simon for the better part of a decade so once my fiancee (now wife) and I started our wedding planning I knew for a fact that he would be our first call. LUCKILY I caught him on a free Saturday (one of only a few left this year) that lined up with our venue dates. We are beyond blessed and forever grateful for the work that he did. Not only was his photography top notch, but also his professionalism, fun loving nature, and attention to detail. He went above and beyond to make our guests, friends, and family feel comfortable. He completely overdelivered on his work from A - Z and I could not recommend him more. 10/10. 5 Stars. Don't think about it, JUST BOOK HIM! -

Simon was exceptional to work with. I hate having pictures taken and often feel uncomfortable doing so but Simon made it easy. We got our first sample pictures that very night and our generous sneak peek 3 weeks later. We could not be happier we hired Simon and will do so any other time we need a photographer! -

Best wedding photographer!
We could not be more happy about the beautiful wedding photographs that Simon took! He did such an amazing job at capturing our big day for us. The pictures were almost like an art work and were exactly what we envisioned. He was so easy to work with, very nice personality, and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. We could not be happier!
Simon is the best! We are so happy with our wedding photos! He was so accommodating, so responsive, and the pictures turned out unbelievable! We even booked him over 2 days and each time he was there scouting the place out for the perfect photos before we even knew he was there! He even hiked a mountain with us in freezing temps to get the perfect photos. There are just no words to describe how happy we are. -

Efficiently perfect

My family is big and chaotic and somehow he managed to capture INCREDIBLE photos where my nephews (who were literally running around the woods making dinosaur noises) looked like nature catalog models! FIVE STARS!! Simon is as good as it gets. His skill with the camera is matched only by his ability to create and maintain a photoshoot environment where we felt comfortable to be ourselves. The whole experience was FUN! We just received our photos and we are BLOWN AWAY. P.S. Especially if you want a nature backdrop, Simon is who you want. -

Just what we wanted!!
We had Simon photograph our maternity photos and my goodness, he brought tears to my eyes! Not only did he capture my vision..in a stunning location..but he made us feel at ease. A huge plus, for me, he brought music! Really put myself and my husband at ease. If I could go back to our wedding day, I would have definitely reached out to him!
Overall..Simon has a real talent and is a great spirit to be around. He really cares about his passion and his clients. We will definitely reach out to him for any future special occasions! -

My husband and I actually hired Simon for a maternity photo shoot, and we are so happy we did! Simon was helpful throughout the ENTIRE process. He helped us pick a location, time, and coached us through poses (because we’re definitely not models). He was also flexible because the weather was a concern. We felt a little needy because the day of the shoot we were a tad disorganized and also had our pup with us. Simon never once made us feel rushed or judged. He even gave us peace of mind while we were looking away for certain poses and let us know our pup was a-ok sitting off to the side. Overall, it was such and easy, pleasant experience. If you want a warm photographer that is friendly, patient, professional and familiar with the outdoors, I highly recommend Simon! -

Great Experience & Amazing Photos!
Simon is an AMAZING photographer! He is so easy to work with, instantly makes you feel comfortable and relaxed, and knows all the best photo op moments in the Blue Ridge! We booked him for a fun, casual session in the mountains and the photos are stunning. We got them back really quickly and we've received so many compliments from our friends & family!
