We had a tremendous experience with DJ Todd Frederick from Silver Sound as our DJ. It's clear when you work with DJ Todd that he's incredibly passionate about music and creating a special experience for his clients. He spent time with us before the wedding really understanding our musical interests/preferences and the details of our wedding. He's an incredibly down-to-earth guy who is easy to talk to and work with. On the wedding day itself, he made things smooth and natural. The transitions between parts of the wedding went well, and most importantly, the dance floor was rocking (with all ages dancing)! I would highly recommend DJ Todd Frederick and Silver Sound.

Professional with Expertise - Highly Recommend!
Silver Sound truly knows what they are doing. Our original DJ was no longer available due to health issues, and while this may sound stressful, DJ Todd jumped right in. And honestly, it was the smoothest, most seamless transition, you would have never known we had a major switch occur. DJ Todd was so communicative in the planning, offered his opinions and expertise when we had to make choices that I never considered, and was a true professional. A guest experienced a medical emergency at our reception and DJ Todd handled it beautifully. He was flexible, caring, and worked effortlessly with the other vendors to help move the party along while giving us space to tend to the guest. Guests raved about how much fun they had and DJ Todd totally set the vibes. It's clear that he is a professional with a ton of experience and I am so happy that we went with Silver Sound (who were already recommended to us!)

Michael Kane DJed our wedding back in May 2025 and we were thrilled with how everything went! He was so so so easy to work with and he listened to what type of music we liked and helped us with deciding which songs would work well together! DJ Todd Frederick truly made our wedding day the best day of our lives. All of our interactions with DJ Todd Frederick were very professional and I could tell that he really enjoys what he does. DJ Todd also carefully timed our ceremony and formal dances without a hitch, he brought enthuastic energy with his announcing style, and played so many great songs that had our guests dancing all night. He also gets major kudos for correctly pronouncing all my husbands Lithuanian family members complicated names. DJ Todd skillfully wove modern and older songs together into the playlist that appeal to multiple generations represented at our wedding. So many music genres were well balanced throughout the evening from punk, to pop, to funk.... DJ Todd was one of the a highlights of our night. He is a great person in addition to being a great DJ. DJ Michael is Great!
We had DJ Michael Kane at our wedding this past April and had a great experience. He is very organized and easy to work with. Our friend was our officiant, and Michael helped prepare him and help him feel comfortable with the technology and timing. Our guests were on the dance floor all night. Many people told us it was the most fun they had dancing at a wedding in years. Highly recommend!

Michael was responsive and great to work with leading up to the big day and day of! My husband and I have massive party families, so we knew the DJ was going to make or break their & our experiences. We had a long list of songs we wanted to hear and knew that not all of them were going to get played, but we thought he did a good job at getting to the must play ones! He also did a great job pronouncing names correctly. So fun to work with and kept the energy and dance floor alive!

Dan was extremely personable and fun to work with - he held a call with us prior to booking to answer our questions, and held an additional one the day prior to the wedding to thoroughly review the timeline and plan. He was on time, and was flexible with our changing ceremony plan due to the rain. At the reception, the dance floor was never empty once opened, which is everything we had hoped for at our wedding! We Danced All Night!
DJ Michael Kane with Silver Sound was absolutely excellent to work with! He was always prompt to respond to emails, very professional, and easy to work with! He is such a fun person, and really captured exactly what we envisioned for our day. All the song choices were perfect!

Kevin from Silver Sound was absolutely the BEST DJ we could have asked for! From the initial planning stages to the last dance, he was incredibly professional, communicative, and truly listened to our musical preferences. He totally understood the vibe we were going for at our wedding and completely nailed it. The dance floor was packed all night long! He seamlessly transitioned between songs, keeping the energy high and everyone engaged. He played a perfect mix of our requested songs and his own curated selections, which had everyone from our youngest guests to our grandparents out on the dance floor. The Absolute Best of the Best
We were so lucky and happy to be able to book DJ Todd Frederick for our day as he is in high demand and gets booked far in advance. Todds personality was over the top AWESOME!! I had a million questions about the event, and Todd was always right there, quick to answer and offer guidance. His customer service was great! Todd did an excellent job at keeping the flow. He was incredibly quick on his feet, switching up songs when he noticed our guests starting to lose interest. Once I got the hang of it, using the Silver Sound planning tools made building our playlist a breeze. I could easily connect my Spotify playlist and add new songs directly to the Silver Sound website. This flexibility made last-minute changes very easy. Our guests loved the lights, the sound, and of course, DJ Todd Frederick! He was incredibly professional, adaptable, and really worked with everyone to make our wedding feel personal and special. Absolutely loved DJ Michael Kane from Silver Sound!
We had DJ Michael Kane from Silver Sound for our wedding and he was so amazing! We were instantly reassured by him during our planning process. He was so professional and responsive to our hopes and goals. On our wedding day, he was exactly the presence we needed! He was positive but calm, helpful, remembered everyone's name, including the very difficult to pronounce Irish names of our guests. Our guests all night kept coming up to us and asking us where we found "the DJ with the immaculate vibes" and how he had exactly created the perfect mood for each phase of the wedding. We had the best time and so much of that is thanks to Michael. We are so grateful. We would hire him again a million times over and would recommend him to anyone looking for a great time.

Having Todd as our DJ was one of our very best vendor decisions for our big day! Todd was incredibly thorough and helpful in the months leading up to our wedding and thoughtfully guided us through planning a ceremony and reception that aligned with our hopes and expectations. Todd knew our venue well (which settled any worries about day-of logistics) and was always willing to connect if we had questions or needed guidance. Silver Sounds' online system to create your customized playlist and day-of timeline was super easy to use and helpful as we crafted the details of the day.
Todd is a great listener and was receptive to what we wanted from our ceremony/reception and absolutely delivered! He offered great tips and tricks without overstepping or making us feel unheard. He was always quick with correspondence and never left us hanging throughout the process. He also is just a fun guy with a great personality that will settle any nerves in the wedding planning process and will help make your special day run smoothly.
Very importantly, our dance floor was buzzing all night! We had many guests tell us they usually don't dance at weddings, but couldn't help themselves and had so much fun! He took the vibe of our playlists and added in a few songs we hadn't thought of, but fit in seamlessly. Todd's sound equipment was also great - the sounds of the night were top notch! We had a blast with Todd and are so grateful for the role he played in making our wedding such a special day. We would highly recommend him to other couples planning their big day and gladly have him DJ future events of our own!

Frederick Hart is THE BEST!
The best! Fred was simply, the best. From our first communication with Fred, he was engaging, personable, professional and kind. My husband and I were initially nervous about selecting the exact, right DJ for our crowd - for family and friends of all ages to celebrate our wedding anniversary on New Year's Eve. But, Fred immediately understood the vibe we were going for, which instantly put us at ease. We felt heard when we discussed our likes and dislikes of music genres, how much (or little) we wanted there to be "MC'ing" throughout the night and also the overall atmosphere we wanted to create together. We were in touch several times before our big party to talk details. He made himself available via phone/email/text whenever we had questions and was always super responsive, no matter how busy he was! He offered suggestions and gave us full latitude to create whatever song list we wanted, which was a lot of fun for us because we had specific songs that had different meaning to many people in our family. He mixed what we chose, as well as the songs that he chose for us, flawlessly. - Fred effortlessly accomplished everything we hope for and the proof was in the dance floor - once the "fast" music started, our guests never sat down! Exactly what we wanted for NYE! We wished we had more hours to dance! It was a blast! Guests told us the next day how much their feet hurt from dancing but that they loved every minute! Needless to say, the vibe was exactly what wanted!
On top of all of this, Fred is gentleman. He is a very nice person who is easy to talk to & who clearly cares about his clients. His talent and experience speak for themselves and anyone who chooses to work with him will see this immediately. Additionally, if you happen to have the pleasure to talk with Fred about his background, you will be equally impressed with his background, service to our country and long history working in broadcast communications and music. We could not be happier with our choice of Silver Sound-and especially with Paul (Evans)!! Paul’s knowledge and personality made us feel at ease that our special day was in good hands. Their pricing was very fair (especially for what you get-and we opted for the additional up lighting) Their info was easy to navigate-especially compared to others! Paul listened to us, made suggestions, and made us feel comfortable to say yay or nay to certain songs. Based on our song choices, which were not exactly typical for a wedding, Paul and Josh sincerely knocked the setlist for the entire event out of the park. So, if you are wondering if Silver Sound is a good choice-they are the BEST choice you will make! We are so thankful they were recommended to us. Awesome DJ for my wedding!!!
Dan was an excellent DJ for our special day! He asked thorough questions to best prepare for the day and had great feedback. On the day of, Dan most of all kept us on the best schedule and helped us stay on track for all of your special moments throughout the day. He kept the party going and knew when to read the crowd on when he played songs from our playlist. Dan had done so many events at Appleford Estate and knew everything about the guidelines for our venue. He did a great job and we would use him again for any future events!!

The best way we could have celebrated!
DJ Jeff was everything we hoped for in a DJ. He was attentive to our needs, played all the right music, and helped out in nearly every aspect of the wedding. During the preparation, he was always available, and went out of his way to make sure that our wants were heard and understood. On the day of, he was professional and helped everyone have a smooth and organized day. He had perfect music for the ceremony and cocktail hour, and did a great job organizing the songs for the reception just how we envisioned. At the reception, he was able to engage nearly all of the people at the wedding, and kept the dance floor full until the very end of the night! It was a great experience to work with him, and we would absolutely recommend him for others planning an event. We are making this review a year later, and people still tell us how fun our wedding was - which we owe entirely to DJ Jeff!

DJ Binh was THE BEST! Everyone was on the dance floor the entire night and we go so many compliments about the music - the most packed dance floor of all time! Binh was so kind and lovely to work with - he perfectly executed our wedding. Can’t recommend DJ Binh enough!

Amazing experience with Taz at our wedding
Taz Sellers from Silver Sound Entertainment was the DJ for our wedding reception in 2021. Taz was extremely easy to work with when it came to picking our playlist for our cocktail hour, reception, and dances. He did a wonderful job as the MC for our reception and helped to guide the evening in a fun and authentic way. Taz has an amazing ability to read the crowd. He can keep the dance floor going all night and can get everyone at the wedding involved regardless of age or musical taste. We would definitely recommend him if you're looking for a DJ.

We loved DJ Kevin from silver sound. He immediately picked up on the vibe we described and ran with it. Not only did he keep our dance floor packed, he hiked out in a January blizzard to lend us one of his uplights for a snow photo. 10/10 recommend!!

Made Things Easy
Hiring DJ John Cicala for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. We had a complex layout and schedule with a lot of moving parts, and no matter what tricky situation we threw at him, he always reassured us that he would make it happen and kept our stress levels low. Everything was seamless on the wedding day. I appreciated John checking him with me and making sure we kept on track, while also remaining flexible and in tune with the guest experience. I also really enjoyed working with Silver Sound. They made everything easy, from providing multiple DJ options with sound bites to updating our package after the fact.

Thank you, DJ Dan!
DJ Dan was the perfect addition to complete our dream wedding! We went through our wedding timeline from pre-ceremony to post-reception thoroughly before wedding day, and Dan made sure he had every detail accounted for. He was professional, courteous, well-spoken, and personable. Our main note was to play music that got everyone up and moving for the entire night, and he over-achieved that goal! He checked in with us throughout the night, made sure volume was at our desired level, and easily/quickly adjusted the order of things when needed. DJ Dan was more than a master of ceremonies, and our wedding wouldn't have been the same without him. Thank you DJ Dan!

Todd Frederick from Silversound Entertainment is the BEST! He was an absolutely pleasure to work with for our wedding. He was so nice and calm when we went though the wedding timeline and had great suggestions for music and timing. On the wedding night everything went seamlessly and he did a fabulous job for music selection, volume, transitions, and timing. Hire DJ Michael Kane!
DJ Michael Kane was absolutely amazing and I would 100% recommend him to everyone getting married in the area! Having attended several other weddings this year since ours, I can say with complete confidence that DJ Michael Kane is above and beyond all other DJs I have ever heard/met. He had the dance floor full ALL NIGHT LONG- no joke. In fact, that was one of the biggest compliments we got from guests over and over. Michael was easy to work with ahead of time and on the wedding day. He made sure to get all pronunciations right, which really meant a lot to me- someone who has had their first and last name mispronounced their entire life. Due to various circumstances on the wedding day, we had to move around the timeline a bit on the fly and DJ Michael Kane was really flexible and helpful in that. If I had to plan my wedding all over again, DJ Michael Kane is the first vendor I would be sure to rehire. Thanks to Michael, the dancing and reception will be something I and all of our guests will never forget!

DJ Kevin Kirby made our we dding day perfect! We had a last minute Cellist cancelation for our ceremony and he stepped up to the plate and still made it all happen. He also played amazing music, was great at announcing and transitions, and truly is just a wonderful man in general. He even practiced saying difficult Polish names and nailed them! An absolute sweetheart and excellent DJ. You can tell he is genuine and professional and experienced. We have been getting compliments about the DJ ever since! We highly recommend DJ Kevin Kirby!! I put pages of songs on my wedding playlist & DJ Todd was able to pick through them & play exactly what I wanted. He made my ceremony amazing, and my reception unforgettable. The title sums it up! We were so happy with DJ Todd at Silver Sound, and so were our guests. Everyone was on the dance floor all night, and he created a celebratory, fun atmosphere that made you want to get up and dance. Just as importantly, DJ Todd was incredibly professional, organized and patient. Seriously, the best decision ever.
When we got engaged in 2019, Silver Sound was our first (and only) choice for our wedding entertainment. We had been to weddings where Silver Sound was used and we were hooked.
Even after three(!) Covid reschedules, Silver Sound was amazing (and flexible) with us.
After three years - our wedding reception finally happens and it was amazing, thanks to Taz and his incredible presence and energy.
If you’re thinking about booking with them - don’t even hesitate. It’s one of the best and easiest decisions you’ll have to make!

Great DJ for our September wedding!
Michael really made our wedding the experience we dreamed of! He had the crowd dancing all night - knew exactly what to play and when to keep the party going. We loved having him at our special day!!

Amazing Wedding DJ and MC
Binh was great from start to finish. He took time to meet with us early to make sure everything was good to go and checked in with us throughout the night. As most weddings go, there was some last minute changes and he handled everything we threw at him with ease. We had a "roast" announcement for the bridal party entrance and his delivery was spot on, and so funny. He played all the music we wanted and did a great job of reading the room and playing music that appealed to everyone!

Recommend Silver Sound
We had a great night with Michael Kane as the DJ for our wedding reception! Many guests told us they enjoyed dancing as well as the music selected. Michael accommodated our requests for song selections, for an invitation for all couples to join us on the dance floor at the end of the First Dance, and for the parent dances to be shortened. We also appreciated Michael working with the Avalon String Band.

Best DJ ever!
Marty was the best dj! He worked with us to really get a feel of our whole wedding vibe and he put together a set that everyone loved! He had the whole entire venue dancing! He is very talented and has a special talent for making all your ideas come to life.

5 Star Wedding DJ
Paul was perfect. Couldn’t ask for a better DJ for our wedding. He played all of the songs we requested, he dealt with a few delays from the kitchen by moving up speeches and opening the dance floor, and got everyone dancing throughout the night. We would recommend Paul to anyone who needs a DJ!

Great DJ!!!!
DJ John Cicala was a grea t DJ for our wedding day! He was organized and helped with the flow of the reception, cocktail hour, and dinner, including bridal party entrances, speeches, and even a game. Not to mention he played great music for dancing - our guests were dancing for the full 2.5 hours after dinner. We highly recommend using DJ John Cicala for your wedding!

Dan was FANTASTIC! He totally matched our style and understood what we were looking for. He helped us pick songs when we didn’t know what we wanted for certain moments and throughout the night he knew exactly how to keep people dancing. Very smooth and easy
The wedding was perfect and it all came together with Jeff's sound. He kept everyone on the dance floor. His communication was great making everything super easy and, all the songs were played exactly when we wanted them. His execution was flawless I would recommend Jeff any time.

Wonderful!
I can't say enough about o ur wonderful wedding DJ. Ryan Karolyi was a joy to work with. He orchestrated everything from passing the microphone around, announcing our first dance, getting the cake cut to getting everyone (and I mean everyone) on the dance floor. He was easy to work with, very amiable to all requests, organized and just plain fun. I really had no idea beforehand how good he'd be. I felt like I was just picking someone out of the hat. I think that says a lot about the work ethic Silversound must expect of all its employees. Thank you, Ryan for a great job!

Great music with affordable pricing
Taz was great! Music was awesome. My wedding party are big drinkers and he helped everyone stay the course and make sure everything done was on time. Which was probably not an easy task with my group. Would hire him again.

We are so thankful to have had DJ Michael Kane for our big day. He was so kind, easy to communicate with, and helpful throughout the entire process leading up to the big day. He even made a special mashup for our father daughter dance song! DJ Michael kept the dance floor going all night long, played our requested songs but definitely knew how to read the crowd, did an amazing job announcing everyone and organizing speeches. I truly did not have to worry about anything because I knew DJ Michael had our backs. We would recommend him to everyone!!

Paul & team did a phenomenal job! They were on time, very communicative, and even had to set up quickly after a rainstorm delayed our outdoor ceremony. Paul did a great job sticking to what we requested but also added some great song choices of his own in between. A total professional, I'd recommend Paul for any occasion!

DJ Dan was the best!
Dan did such a great job with Doing our wedding! He was so great to work with and answered all of our questions ahead of time. The day of the wedding he was prepared, on time, and communicated well. Throughout the night he checked in with us about the music and making sure we were happy with everything. He accommodated our specific requests for family songs, and everyone was on the dance floor the whole night. Thank you for everything Dan!

Perfect and So Easy!!
I didn’t expect any big ticket wedding arrangements to be perfect and easy, but Silver Sound and DJ Dan Breslin made that miracle happen. Everything was SO GOOD!!! DJ Dan was fantastic. He took the time to walk through all the details of the very special moments we wanted at the reception, executed perfectly the song/sound design we wanted for the ceremony and party, kept everything moving seamlessly but without it feeling like it was rushed, and had just the right balance of encouraging a party and dance vibe. I was convinced that our guests would not be so into dancing - we had a slightly older crowd, and with lots of folks still wary of COVID, I thought it was going to be a lot more sedentary at the reception. DJ Dan predicted he would get people wilding out on the dance floor, and he was 100% correct. As soon as we gave them the chance, people were so excited to dance! Music means a lot to me, and Dan played all the songs and made all the dedications I was hoping for, and even checked to make sure he had the exact versions of each special song that I wanted. Our wedding was all I had hoped for and more, and DJ Dan was a big part of why. And Silver Sound's online client portal and forms to communicate all our plans and song list, from selecting our package to selecting DJ Dan, it could not have been easier or more perfect for me.

My entire experience with Todd was great, I cannot think of a single complaint. My conversations with Todd leading up to the wedding were so helpful, he made me feel very at ease. Todd made sure to check in with us during the cocktail hour and reception. I did not have a full playlist selected and Todd did a great job filling in the gaps with fun dancing songs. I think I was on the dance floor the entire night. Todds set-up looked great and the sound was perfect, not too loud not too quiet. I would definitely recommend Todd again!

John Cicala from Silver Sound was absolutely AMAZING for our daughter's wedding!! The music at a wedding really can determine the whole mood of the wedding and this wedding was ROCKING!! My wife and I cannot sing the praises of Silver Sound enough for the tremendous service provided with the music at our wedding. Our DJ, Jason Romaly, provided a knowledgeable, collaborative, and ultimately fun experience to our special day. Kept guests dancing all night!
Ryan was awesome to work with! We planned our wedding from across the country and he was super accommodating. We were not picky about music but knew we wanted a party vibe and Ryan certainly brought that! His announcements were energizing without making it weird and once the party got started guests were on the floor until the venue kicked us out! I highly recommend working with Ryan!

Kevin Compton from Silver Sound was wonderful and we are so glad we chose him as our DJ! He was great to work with from the beginning - incredibly responsive, listened to our preferences, and we knew we could trust him. On the day of, he was so friendly to ourselves, the event staff and our guests. He played all our song requests and matched the vibe we were looking for perfectly. Where do we begin? DJ Taz was excellent and fun! From the beginning stages of planning through to the last song, he was truly a professional! He helped us plan the perfect ceremony and reception selections and made the day flow so terrific! We wanted a party and he made sure we got it! The timeline he helped create was perfect and made everything progress so smoothly and his introductions were perfect. Besides being a fantastic DJ, he was also a great guy to get to know!
