Best wedding cake ever!

Vicki is the absolute best!!! My husband and I just got married on 2/29/2020 and we couldn't be happier with our wedding cake! It was GORGEOUS AND DELICIOUS!!!!! We chose the strawberry, chocolate, cannoli and banana!! Our guests were crazy about ALL flavors!!! Seriously, everyone had a different favorite and we had about 110 people at our reception! We highly recommend Cakes by Vicki!!!!

The most delicious wedding cake

Vicki has the most tasty cake flavors to choose from - if I remember correctly, about 14 flavors! We ended up doing a 5 tier cake with all different flavors. The guests loved it since they could get something of everything!

We met Vicki at a tasting for a caterer, she had many different cake flavors to sample. We tried all of them and they were all delicious. We told her the idea of the cake that we wanted, a very non-traditional steampunk themed wedding cake, and she was very excited to get to make it. We set up a time to go to her shop and sample more flavors and get the rough estimate for the cake and design worked out. The meeting with her went very well, we tried cake until we couldn't eat cake anymore, and we decided on three flavors for our wedding cake for the three tiers. Dark chocolate, cinnamon spice, and cannoli cream. She did a hand sketch of the cake and we emailed her pictures of the theme and the dress. On the wedding day, she hand delivered the cake to the venue, it turned out amazing. It looked incredible and the cake was so moist and flavorful. Everyone loved the cake, design and taste. We would highly recommend Signature Cakes by Vicki!

Vicki is an absolute delight to work with! She truly loves what she does and is AMAZING at it, a TRUE artist. As many have mentioned her cakes are not only gorgeous but are dangerously delicious. The tasting was so fun, i gave her my ideas and we worked together to create the cake of my dreams. She drew it right then and there and i fell in love. Also my fiance wanted an unusual grooms cake incorporating two unusual themes and she executed it flawlessly! I simply cannot recommend Vicki and Signature Cakes enough!

Vicky is truly talented! Vicki was great to work with . She sat with us and helped make our dream wedding cake a reality. Not only was the cake a piece of art, it tasted amazing! We received so many comments on how beautiful and delicious our cake was. I highly recommend Signature Cakes by Vicki!

Vicki did my wedding cake and it was absolutely stunning and tasted delicious! She did a five tier cake with four different flavors and they were all very tasty! We got so many compliments on the cake - both for it's beauty and delicious taste. Highly recommend!

A wedding cake that not only looked beautiful but was absolutely delicious! We went to several tastings and when we walked into Vicki's and tasted her cake flavors nothing else compared! The cannoli flavor was amazing! We chose cannoli, strawberry, spice and orange(tasted like the old fashioned orange cream pops). All our guests raved about the cake and how delicious it was. Said it was best wedding cake they ever had!! Thanks Vicki for a beautiful and delicious wedding cake.

We loved EVERYTHING about our experience with Vicki! The tasting was so much fun! Vicki went above and beyond to make us feel special and to be accommodating! Everything she makes is delicious and our cake was absolutely stunning! Several people came up to us after the wedding and told us it was the best cake they had ever tasted! Do yourself a favor and choose Vicki!

This was the BEST wedding cake I have EVER had, and our guests would agree. Normally, I think wedding cakes are just very average and taste artificial. This is so NOT the case for Signature Cakes by Vicki. The cake is so moist and melts in your mouth. The frosting is rich and creamy like it's supposed to be. The decorating is absolutely so elegant. We couldn't have asked for anything more. They deliver everything you can dream of and more! She is a MUST for any occasion.

When I first had A sample of Vicki's cake I was sold. I did not need a cake tasting for any further decision making but I did it anyway because I wanted the full planning experience and wanted my husband to taste the greatness. Vicki not only has great examples of cakes she has produced in the past but the look goes along with the taste. Her cakes are fresh and artistically done. I will use her in the future and recommend that you chose her as your wedding vendor. You will be pleased. I still have guest raving about her cake from the reception.

To start, I don't think I have ever tasted a cake as moist, flavorful or as yummy as Signature Cakes by Vicki. The flavors were to die for!! More impressively though, is her attention to detail and talent when designing a cake. Our wedding cake was the most elegant and beautiful piece of artwork that I have seen. I almost felt bad cutting into it, but I knew how delicious it was going to be, so I got over that quickly. She listened to my husband and I when we were discussing design plans and gave us a cake that was beyond breathtaking.

This was one of our easiest vendors to work with, plus she was located close to home for us. The tasting was done in her home, which is where the cakes are made. Her husband makes the beautiful stands for the cakes as well. The tasting was very personable and she was easily able to take our vision and sketch it out. With a day-of-deal we could not pass up, we signed on the dotted line after tasting her amazing combinations of flavors. Everyone at our reception ranted and raved over how beautiful it was and how unique the flavors were.

Our wedding cake was the talk of the evening. It was so beautiful and was the focal point when we entered the room for dinner. Everyone commented on how breathtaking it was. Not only was it breathtaking but the flavor was unbelievable. I could not have asked for anything better. Would highly recommend Vicki and her designs. This was the best I have ever seen or tasted.

Vicki is absolutely wonderful to work with and is extremely talented. She's very helpful at the cake tasting in advising you and guiding you without telling you what to have for your wedding. She listened to all we had to say and then sketched the most beautiful cake from our descriptions. The finished product was absolutely gorgeous for the wedding! It was perfect in every way. In addition, it was fabulous---and I mean FABULOUS! Everyone wanted to know who made the cake! It was absolutely the best wedding cake I have ever tasted and was super moist. And the icing and fondant were as gorgeous as they were delicious! Most of our guests had more than one piece! Having a wedding is very stressful, but working with Vicki was awesome. Once we decided on the cake we did not have to worry about it again. I would highly recommend Vicki to anyone that was planning a wedding or special occasion and needed a cake!! The experience with Ms. Vicki was wonderful. My cake was so beautiful that I told my wedding planner that I did not want to cut it. The taste was amazing! I cant wait to eat the top layer after one year. I also rented a cake stand from her which made my cake stand out in the ball room!

Vicki did such an amazing job with our cake. We were so thrilled with its outcome. Our guests loved not only the look but taste of the cake and I feel like that's rare, sometimes wedding cakes aren't as tasty as pretty. We had a heavy centerpiece but she made it work and deliveren on all she promised . Taste testing was awesome as well she has so many flavors all equally delicious. I will be recommending her to everyone !!! She was a little more price wise then others but more than worth it! You truly get what you pay for!

Vicki is so INSANELY talented and made by far the best cake I have EVER tasted in my whole life. She was super quick to get in touch, our cake was gorgeous, and our guests are still raving over how beautiful and delicious it was. My husband and I can not say enough amazing things about Vicki and her amazing cakes! Honestly, they are truly the best tasting cakes I have ever had and they have the most amazing team. The cake tasting was so much fun and I had never tried so many amazing things in my entire life than we did during the tasting! We chose the almond, coconut, raspberry, and my husband chose the Key Lime Margarita and all of them were truly incredible. We had so many amazing reviews from everyone at the wedding and I can not wait to eat our topper on our one year anniversary... Not quite sure we will be able to wait to eat the cake until then... we may have to eat it early! CAN NOT WAIT!

Vicki was fantastic to work with. She was really personable at the cake tasting, I felt like she was truly interested in getting to know us. Her cakes are out of this world. The flavor combinations she puts together combined with the freshness of the ingredients make for an absolutely delicious cake. We got so many compliments on how good our cake was. We also wanted a very specific design and she worked with us to achieve exactly what we wanted. It blew my mind at the tasting that she looked at the picture I brought in and asked me what color I would describe it as. She wanted to know how I saw it, she really cared about getting it right. I would totally recommend Vicki's cakes they are stunning and delicious!!!

I absolutely LOVED my wedding cake! Vicki makes everything about the cake process fun-and her cakes are DELICIOUS. Plus you get to choose (and taste!) 12 different flavors when you go to meet her. After the tasting, she helps you custom design your cake by drawing it out with chalk so you can really envision what it will look like. My fiancé didn't even like cake until he met her, but he loved every flavor we tried so much that we had a hard time choosing. We will definitely use her again for special occasions! She is amazing!

Working with Vicki was amazing from the start. The pre-wedding consultation was super fun. She had over 20 different flavors of cake for us to taste, and let me tell you, it was so hard to choose! I told her what I had envisioned for our wedding cake and she brought it all together with a drawing while we were there. We told her a theme for the grooms cake and she said she would surprise us. We were able to choose a different flavor for each layer , which made me very happy since I couldn't decide. Both cakes were beyond beautiful and people are still talking about how wonderful it tasted! I would highly recommend Vicki, she made the whole process perfect!

I just want to thank you for the beautiful job you did on my daughter's wedding cake. It was gorgeous!. We had so many people compliment us on the cake at the reception. Not only at how beautiful it was, but how good it tasted. We've never had a wedding cake that was so moist and tasted so good! The flavors she picked were strawberry and carmel/butterscotch. I can't say I could pick my favorite as they were both good. The detail that you did matching the lace of her wedding dress with the wedding cake was amazing. We enjoyed spending time with you as you listened to my daughter's ideas and created the design before the wedding. It was more beautiful than we could imagine. You truly have a gift from God and we feel blessed to have had you as our baker and decorator! Thanks again!

Vicki's cake was the centerpiece of our wedding. I think people took more pictures of the cake than they did of me! She created a design off the top of her head during our first meeting, and it came out more beautifully than I could have ever imagined. The amount of detail she is able to put in to her cake decorations is amazing! And the quality of fondant she uses actually adds to the taste of the cake rather than detracting from it.
We had a strawberry and almond (alternating) cake, and it was SO delicious. Her ingredients are so fresh, you can actually taste the real berries in the fruit flavored cakes. I tried a couple other strawberry cakes at another bakery and at other weddings I had been to, but the moment I tasted Vicki's cakes, I stopped looking around.
I have never seen a cake that had both the design and the taste that ours had. I feel so lucky that we were able to have Vicki make our wedding cake. I cannot wait to open up that anniversary tier next year!

Our daughter was an out of town bride and so we had very little time together for wedding planning. Vicki was so helpful in making herself available for cake tasting and cake designing. The cake flavors were all good. So good that choosing only five flavors was a challenge. I am sure that our daughter could not have gone wrong with any of the flavors. But she settled on White Chocolate Truffle, Chocolate, Strawberry, Orange and Margarita. The White and Chocolate made up the wedding cake with the three fruit flavors plus the chocolate and white cake done in cupcakes. The fruit flavors are right on, nothing artificial about the flavors. The frosting was also a hit with our guests. They raved about the cake, cupcake and frosting. Thanks Vicki

Vicki at Signature Cakes did an outstanding job on our wedding cake and groom cake! The wedding cake was absolutely beautiful and exactly what I wanted! Not only was it beautiful but tasted great too! Several guests complimented how delicious the cake was! I loved that I could choose different flavors too! It enabled me to have a little something for everyone! The grooms cakes was awesome too! Men tend to not care about wedding details and he was so pumped about his groom cake. His friends even took pictures. Vicki has a real talent and these cakes are awesome!

Vicki designed a cake that was absolutely stunning. The detail work with sugar flowers and moldings was amazing. She truly listened to us as a couple and creatively designed a cake that was more perfect than what we could have ever imagined. Not only was it absolutely beautiful, but it tasted great! We had 4 different flavors and our guests went back for seconds! It was an artistic piece that was almost too pretty to cut! We loved it!

I can't say enough amazing things about Signature Cakes by Vicki! Not only are her cakes beautiful, they taste AMAZING! I have to admit I have never liked wedding cake, but her's is unlike any other! I just can't wait until our anniversary so we can enjoy it all over again! She also made the groom's cake. I showed her a picture of what my husband had wanted. She absolutely nailed it! Your cake was a beautiful work of art . It's beauty exactly captured the design theme of Sarah and Reid's wedding.
The cake was beautifully displayed in the building, set in scattered rose petals and candles. Your work in conjunction with the caterer was invaluable and saved many lots of time.
AND to top it all off, It was Delicious. Perfectly moist. I was able to snag a piece of chocolate and almond (small pieces of each and my husband had the other half.) Absolutely delicious. Everyone raved about how great the cake was.
I would gladly recommend you and your delicious cakes to anyone.

Working with Vicki was definitely my favorite part of wedding planning. I saw her booth at a bridal show, tried a cake sample, and was hooked. I contacted her through e-mail first to set up the tasting and consultation. For the tasting, you get to try each flavor of cake, which was fun but also made choosing a flavor challenging since they were all amazing! We ended up choosing 3 flavors for our fall wedding cake - buttermilk spice, coconut cream, and strawberry white chocolate. I showed Vicki pictures of cakes I liked, and she asked me questions and sketched out a cake based on my preferences. It was the perfect cake for me! She delivered to the venue a few hours before the wedding, and my jaw dropped over how beautiful the cake was. It was absolutely perfect. Our guests loved all the flavors of the cake. My groom and I didn't get to try the coconut cake, because our guests ate it all so quickly. We shared a piece of the strawberry white chocolate cake and spice cake which also had the most delicious buttercream and fondant I've ever tasted. Signature Cakes by Vicki was incredible! She was so easy to work with. We had the most delicious (and comprehensive!) tasting about 6 months before the wedding. She worked with us on our budget and got us the most for our money. She also was willing to try new techniques that she normally does not do, and it paid off!! The buttercream texture was as beautiful as it was tasty! The cake itself was absolutely perfect, and working with Vicki was as easy as could be. I absolutely recommend her!

BEST wedding cake ever! I don’t even like cake (let alone bland wedding cake), but this was beyond delicious. We got two flavors, red velvet and caramel butterscotch. Both were outstanding, but the caramel butterscotch was the best piece of cake I’ve ever tasted, and I was not the only one to voice that opinion. Also much less important to me (I’m the groom) was the presentation. But my wife was in love with how the cake looked and almost didn’t want to cut into it. It was literally the perfect wedding cake. Highly recommend!

Vicki made the most beautiful and delicious cake for our wedding! I saw a picture online of the cake I wanted, showed it to her, and she was able to re-create it to the tee. We heard about her through our coordinator, and we were very pleased with result. Vicki gave us a one-on-one tasting, and we were able to taste so many flavors, we left with a major sugar high. We went with a multi-layer cake, so we were able to choose multiple flavors. People went back for seconds!

Vicki was very friendly and accomodating. She dropped our cake off for us at the venue, ensuring that it was stored at the right temperature until it was time to put it on display for the guests at the reception. We received so many compliments about how gorgeous and tasty the cake was, it was an absolute hit!

I would highly recommend Cakes by Vicki. Her prices are extremely reasonable, and she is extremely talented and artistic in her creations!

Stunning! If I had to use one word to sum up my cake it would be stunning. Vicki worked with me on the design and I loved the fact that she is a true artist when it comes to cakes because she sat down with us and SKETCHED a design as we described details of the event and our likes and dislikes with her. Now on to the cake itself. It was delicious! We chose flavors we never would have chosen if we didn't taste them first! Her cakes were delicious and moist at the tasting and they were moist and delicious the day of our event! I love fresh cakes and she does fresh cakes only. No freezer burn with her! She was amazing!

The cake was AMAZING! I only wish I had more of it! Everyone enjoyed it. My husband, who doesn't even like cake that much, just couldn't get enough of it - he LOVED it. It was SO beautiful too. Vicki mimicked the lace on my dress for the cake - it was perfect.

Also...the cake tasting still goes down as one of the best parts of all of the wedding planning!

Vicki was great to work with, and ran a very organized business and responds quickly to everything. I sent her pictures of the lace on my dress and she incorporated it into the cake design! The best gift Vicki gave me was when she sent an email 2 weeks before the wedding and wanted to let me know that everything was set up with the venue, delivery time, etc and "You don’t have to give it another thought." Vicki was given a challenge to create a New Orleans wedding cake, complete with hidden charms on individual cake pulls, and she delivered a beautiful cake that could compete with any Louisiana bakery. Her ability to produce such a variety of flavors makes her a must in your wedding planning. Our groom cake was designed to represent the state of Ohio and she added edible buckeyes as embellishments for that cake.

I met with a few bakers about my cake. Vicki, by far, had the best tasting cakes. It was the best cake I ever had. It's best to come with some idea with what your cake to be. My husband and I went an unconventional route for a wedding cake and Vicki brought it to life. Our cake was a Star Wars themed complete with an X-Wing and TIE Fighter, and the top layer was a Death Star. It turned out absolutely fantastic. And most importantly, the finished product also tasted great!

I loved the wedding cake process. Vicki had us come to her home, where she had every cake flavor set out for us to sample. She has a specialty frosting but I asked to get a buttercream version, which she did. She actually draws the cake with chalk on a large paper so you can get a visual of what it will look like before you leave. She called me the day before the wedding to verify the location and start time of the ceremony to ensure she had it delivered beforehand. The cake was delicious and it was a creative and challenging design that she willingly accepted. Remember, you get what you pay for and if you want something very intricate and detailed, it will cost more. I wanted something over the top, fun and she put it all together and made it beautiful. My guests loved the taste of the cake and said the frosting wasn't too sweet and that is just what I wanted to hear. Thank you Vicki!

Vicki did the cakes for our wedding. They looked and tasted amazing. We did a mardi gras theme groom's cake which my husband's family went crazy over. The tasting with Vickie was a pleasure... so many yummy flavors and she lets you use different ones on different layers - very cool. Then she stands right there and works with you to sketch out your cake designs. I can't say enough about how FABULOUS vicki and her cakes are! Not only was she highly professional, but even sent a thank you note and picture of the cake after the wedding as a keepsake. Her cake flavors are out of this world good! We had a lot of trouble trying to narrow our choices to three! Everyone at the wedding loved the cake. Vicki is amazing. My husband and I went to several cake tastings and Vicki's cakes were the best, hands down. We went in knowing the design we wanted: a round layered cake with a basket-weave buttercream pattern on the sides and flowers on top and cascading down the sides. Vicki was not only the only baker we met with who was willing to do what we wanted, she was also the most reasonably priced of any baker with whom we met.

When you meet Vicki for a cake tasting you will immediately sense her warm personality and her desire to make your wedding cake the best. Communicating what we wanted with Vicki was easy and she was flexible with any changes that we had. Like I said, her cake is delicious, but the thing that really sets her apart is the artistry. Our wedding cake was a masterpiece--the basket-weave pattern was expertly done and the flowers Vicki made for the cake were perfect. If you want a beautiful, delicious wedding cake that is truly a work of art, go to Vicki. I'm so glad we found her!

Mike and I cannot thank you enough for all of the time, work, and creativity you put into our wedding cake. It was PERFECT!!!

All of our guests immediately thought the aesthetic of the cake looked exactly like my dress, which is exactly what we wanted. And the rows of brooches with the ruffles made everyone drool! It had as many pictures taken of it as Mike and I did of ourselves. We were all blown away until...

We ate it. That was the icing on the cake (pun intended!) I had at least 20 people ask who made the best cake they had ever eaten and I happily shared because it was the best cake I had ever eaten too! Your tastings at bridal shows are amazing, the tastings you prepare in your home are amazing, but the end result was just pure mind blowing. The only thing I hated was that there was one slice left for Mike and I to take home as leftovers. People were going back for 2nd and 3rds!!! I couldn't be happier!

It was my favorite element of the night. Thank you for that. You have a very special talent.

I could not say enough about how fabulous our wedding cakes were! We had a 5 tier wedding cake and a groom's cake. Vicki went above and beyond to ensure the cake matched our vision, and was sure to keep us updated all along the process. When the cakes were delivered on wedding day, I could not believe how beautiful they were. All our guests were raving about the appearance of the cake, and once they tasted it, I got compliments all night on how delicious they were. At first, we weren't even going to do a wedding cake because we didn't think we could afford one that looked nice or tasted good. We were so wrong. One of my bridesmaids even commented, "Remember when you didn't care about the cake? Guess you're glad you changed your mind!" And I really am!!

She designed and created a fabulous groom's cake for my husband that incorporated our favorite things from Philly, the city where we are both from. I was impressed with Vicki's ability to not only listen to my suggestions, but do her own research about Philly and make suggestions of what to include. The reviews were great at the wedding! Everyone loved the cake! It fit perfectly into the day! The mother of the groom said it was the best wedding cake she had ever tasted! My Mom said as soon as she saw it she knew I was going love it. It absolutely took her breath away. Thank you again Vicki so much for making our day wonderful!

Our wedding cake was made by Vicki Nelson (Signature Cakes by Vicki).

Our theme was art deco, so we wanted to have the cake match the theme.

When I saw the cake, it was SO AMAZING. It was exactly what we had wanted.

Along with allowing us to select three different flavors for the tiers, she took inspiration from the photos I had sent her of my art deco jewelry and tied that in to the design. There were lots of sugar tulips and calla lilies on top of the cake that looked so real. I was able to take those after the wedding and give them to friends and family.

The first thing my mother asked me after I returned from the honeymoon was "Who made that cake? It was exquisite!!". Everyone commented on how they loved the way that the cake looked AND tasted!

Vicki is professional and also friendly and kind. She delivered the cake exactly on time.

If I had to do the wedding over again, I would definitely include Vicki Nelson!!

Signature Cakes by Vicki, Wow, where do I begin?

In planning my husband’s 60th birthday celebration, I wanted the best of everything, at least that I could afford. I first contacted Vicki by phone and described to her what I envisioned for cakes for the celebration as I wanted cakes that represented two facets of my husband’s life, (i.e., a life-like golf course with a replica of the clubhouse at one of the local courses where he plays regularly and the Bible to represent his ministry).

Vicki immediately offered great suggestions and told me of how she would accomplish what I was describing. She offered a free consultation and tasting, which I was ecstatic over because, while others offered free consultations, they did not offer tastings. Some even said that they only did tastings for wedding cakes. That made it apparent to me that every cake, regardless of the occasion, was as important to Vicki as it was to the individual. That simple business practice also implied to me that she would not only create a masterpiece, but that she also wanted to ensure that I would be satisfied with the cakes in their entirety and not just the appearance.

Here’s where the real fun began. A girlfriend accompanied me to the consultation and tasting. Once there, Vicki presented us with a wonderful assortment of approximately 13 to 16 different flavors of cake. All of which, I kid you not, were knock-your-socks-off wonderful! Each sample was incredibly moist and light, uniquely flavorful, and just melted in our mouths, which made it extremely difficult to decide on a flavor. Therefore, I picked three. The golf course cake consisted of almond, orange dreamsicle, and strawberry flavors and the Bible cake was an almond flavor.

After deciding on flavors, we discussed designs to ensure we were on the same page. Vicki began drawing the cakes on an easel and drew to scale what I had envisioned. I was totally blown away by her drawing. During the consultation, we laughed and had great fun with Vicki. Vicki was patient through my indecisiveness in choosing flavors. She never rushed or pressured me in any way.

After the consultation, I was confident that the final results would be phenomenal and I knew first hand of the wonderful taste and texture that my guest would have the privilege of experiencing.

On the day of the celebration, Vicki and her wonderful husband delivered the masterpieces. They were magnificent. The cakes were more fascinating than I had ever imaged. I didn’t want to cut them. Everyone was in awe! No one could believe they were real cakes. The staff at the venue where the celebration was held were also amazed and even took pictures. My guests took pictures. One out-of-town guest who was present when Vicki delivered the cakes asked if she’d come to his home state. That’s how incredible the cakes were.

Then, it’s cake time. The cakes tasted even more delectable than I remembered during the tasting. It’s only been two weeks since the celebration and my guests are still raving over Vicki’s cakes. I can’t impress upon anyone enough, how wonderful Signature Cakes by Vicki is. You just have to experience it for yourself and once you do, you too will have to confess that Signature Cakes by Vicki is the BEST!!!! Best in Taste, Texture, Artistry Design and Cost. I’m truly grateful to Vicki for a job well done, as she helped to make the celebration even more memorable.

We have never seen a cake as quickly devoured as our wedding cake! It tasted amazing, looked beautiful, and was worth every penny we paid. The cake was affordable, tasty, and so pretty that I had guests talking about it throughout the day, evening, and on. It's still a hot topic, months later!

What a great experience it was to work with Signature Cakes by Vicki! Her ability to bring an idea to life is a true gift. Our cake was absolutely beautiful and tasted as great as it looked. She did not sacrifice taste for appearance at all. We attended several cake tastings prior to meeting Vicki and were blown away by the difference in how her cake tasted. It was by far the best cake I've ever had. You could taste how fresh everything was and it was noticable that nothing was preprepared.
As for aesthetics, we came in without a lot of focus and she narrowed in immediately on what we wanted; she really lends her imagination to each individual client.
Wedding planning can be very stressful, but her enthusiasm and creative flair made this process so much more enjoyable. She really has a passion for what she does and it shows in her work.
On a more professional note, Vicki was a pleasure to work with. She was flexible given our busy schedules, approachable and very responsive to our every inquiry. Her prices are very reasonable and you get a lot of bang for your buck.
We are so impressed and would HIGHLY recommend Signature Cakes by Vicki to anyone having an event. You will be flooded with rave reviews long after it is over. I wish I could host more events just to use her services! We are thrilled with our choice to include Signature Cakes in our wedding and you will be too!

We weren't even planning on getting a cake - we wanted something a little less traditional. And then we tasted Vicki's cake at a bridal show, and we were won over. After that we made a formal appointment with Vicki for a "real" tasting, and made a few other appointments with other cake vendors - and Vicki blew them out of the water. She had the most flavor options, all of which were wonderfully moist and left you wanting more. The cake was delicious, beautiful, and we got tons of compliments on it. Originally, we had decided to not save the top layer, so we'd have more for the guests. But, it accidentally got saved anyway. It was a wonderful surprise when we got back from the honeymoon to find it in the freezer. And we decided to still not save it - so, we ate it for the next week!

There are 3 reasons, all very important that made Signature Cakes by Vicki so wonderful. Vicki took lots of time to sketch the design. Late in the process she allowed the bride to change some things and make it her own. The most important element was all three kinds of cake in the tiers were moist, dense and delicious. No matter how beautiful the cake should taste delicious and it did. Vicki understood how emotional the whole process is for a wedding cake. Highly recommend Vicki. Absolutely beautiful and equally delicious! She did exactly what we discussed! I made a change to the sugar flowers a week before the wedding and told her to not worry about it. She ended up making the change anyway when she didn't have to. Recommend to people who want the look and taste for the right price!

I started planning my May 2011 Nashville wedding about 2 years in advance since I was attending law school in Los Angeles at the time I got engaged. Vicki was great about setting up a meeting time with me when I flew into Nashville for a week of meeting with wedding vendors.

One of my favorite things about Vicki was how she asked questions about the wedding and how we wanted the cake to look - and then she drew us a picture right there!! The drawing was beautiful - and the cake looked even better in person!

Words cannot even describe how wonderful Vicki's cakes are!! Every flavor we tasted at our first meeting was AMAZING!! It was so hard to decide which flavors to select! At the reception we made sure to try as many of the flavors as possible!

I highly recommend Signature Cakes! If you want a cake that looks beautiful and tastes amazing - go with Signature Cakes!

Where do i start? Vicki creates MASTERPIECES beyond anything you can imagine! Not only were our cakes beautiful, but they were so delicious and moist! Our guests ate all of the groom's cake within minutes and they attempted to eat all of mine but it was too huge! Vicki listens to every word to make your vision come to life! We found Vicky at a bridal show where one of her sample cakes just swept me off my feet! We got married at Belmont Mansion and our theme was Old South and Victorian. She worked with us on every aspect of this cake, mixed the perfect color, helped us decide on flavors and just made it perfect! My mom fell and broke her leg the day we were supposed to have the tasting so she couldn't come with us. When we got there, Vicky had samples of everything she makes (they are all incredible) and she even packed a sample of everything for my mom so she could try it even though she couldn't be there. Vicky was great to work with, shared our vision and really made the cake a focal point at the reception. I am still getting complements on the taste and the beauty. You have found your perfect cake decorator! Look no further!

Having our cake done with Vicki was one thing we did over budget on our wedding, but it was TOTALLY worth it. Before the wedding, when people asked how much we spent on the cake and I told them, they were shocked. But at the wedding, those people said they understood why it was expensive! I had a picture from a magazine of a very detailed cake I wanted. At our meeting, she did a sketch of it and took a copy of my photo. I was still nervous that it wouldn't actually look like the picture. On the day of my wedding I couldn't believe how amazing it was. I had so many compliments that it was the most beautiful wedding cake anyone had seen. It looked EXACTLY like the photo!!! I wish I could post pictures on here of the magazine photo and the cake so you could appreciate how good she is. And the TASTE! At our meeting, neither of us had never tasted such amazing cake flavors. My fiance doesn't even like sweets and he loved the samples. We decided on each layer having a layer of strawberry and a layer of banana making it a strawberry banana cake! And to top it off, her buttercream frosting is amazing, and the fondant didn't taste near as bad as others I've had. It was delivered on time and she sent me photos of it after the wedding which I appreciated, even though we did have a photographer. We can't wait till our first anniversary to eat more of our cake! If you want to have the best cake ever, go to Vicki!!!

Vicki gave me more than I ever could have imagined with my wedding cake. It was absolutely gorgeous and tasted fantastic. She had no problem working within my budget and I wound up getting a great value for the price. I enjoyed the whole process with Vicki, from our first appointment through the wedding. She has a great variety of flavors and her fondant is great. She also sketches out the design of the cake during the 1st appointment, which was a really fun experience. I had so many compliments from my guests and I would recommend Vicki to anyone!

I cannot adequately express how wonderful it was working with Vicki!! She was extremely professional, friendly and fast. Everything from our consultation to our wedding day was so easy and all of our questions were answered right away. The best part was seeing our cake on the day of our wedding. Vicki had made my older sister's wedding cake two years ago and everyone loved the look and especially the taste so it was a no brainer for me to go to her for my own wedding cake. I brought my Indian outfit with me for our consultation and Vicki suggested making the design match the outfit. She drew out a picture and it looked amazing, but nothing could have prepared me for the actual cake! Not only did it match my outfit perfectly, but tasted divinely!!! Our decorator even said that it was the most beautiful cake he had ever seen!! I would recommend Vicki to all brides! She will work with your idea (and if you don't have any then she will make great suggestions) and budget! Thanks so much for making our wedding that much better with your beautiful and delicious cake!
