We love Sierra-West!

I was very happy with Sierra-West! I worked with Tim, the owner, and he was so kind! He helped us create the custom engagement ring of our dreams, while still staying within our budget. I would recommend Sierra-West to anyone looking to buy an engagement ring at a very competitive price.

Tim is awesome, made sure that everything was exactly what we wanted and worked with us very well. I would recommend coming here and working with him! He was very helpful and kind to us and very thorough with checking the ring to make sure it was perfect.

My fiancé bought my ring here and I LOVE it. They worked with his budget while also finding em the most gorgeous real diamond. They got the ring to him in a timely matter! Jordan was our jeweler and she was great! Buy your engagement ring here! Huge selection, great price, professional staff!

Sierra West was by far my favorite jeweler. First of all, they have so many choices -unlike many other jewelers - which I loved. The man who helped us was classy but not stuck up, helpful, and patient, which makes a big difference. Great service. Good prices. Very professional. Courteous and caring. They customized my ring and ordered a stone from elsewhere for me, and made sure it came as soon as possible. When one day over the phone they found out our engagements we're the next day, the said "we'll make sure it's ready for pick up before then!" I always love to come back in to get my ring tightened or cleaned, which always takes only about a minute or so.

They did an amazing job replacing a diamond on an antique band for my engagement ring. Even resized it for free, and 12 month 0% financing.

I love Sierra West Jewelers so much. The customer service was fabulous and they really cared about my wants and needs. I came into the store with an idea of what i wanted in a ring, and walked out with the ring of my dreams. The lady i worked with was very knowledgeable and explained the process of getting my ring costume designed. I would recommend this store because of the quality in the rings but the customer service is what will keep me and my family members going back!!!

The service was exceptional. As a registered gemologist (or whatever they call it) I knew the quality was certifiably good, and they gave a lot of attention to me and my wife before and after. We looked through the selection but decided to make a custom design at no extra charge, which they did with their craftsman in-house. It was just what we wanted. And after I'd decided on the main diamond and had to go back days later to say I just couldn't feel good about spending that much, they graciously went back through many other options with me until I found something cheaper I liked and they gave me no hassle about it even though I'd already signed a contract for the original. Very gracious, very understanding, and a lot of expertise to back up their helpfulness and consideration. We've gladly returned to request periodic cleanings etc the last few years.

Really enjoyed working with this jeweler. They did their best to educate us about what we were buying. We even got to go into the back and examine the diamonds that we were looking at with a jewelers magnifying glass. Rings turned out beautifully.

They treated us great the moment we walked in the door. They have a great selection. We even compared settings and diamond prices at other places like Shane Co. and Jared. They were WAY over-priced compared to Sierra West. Only Sierra West had the setting I fell in love with! and I even got a strand of pearls for FREE! talk about a good deal! They really helped us out, and never made me feel like fresh meat, or that we needed to hurry. Great place, would highly recommend!

Oh my goodness--I cannot even begin to describe how much I love my ring!! Sierra West provided the best ring shopping experience we had of all the places we went. Not only were they extremely patient with my indecisiveness, but they also educated us! They sat us down and showed us what to look for in a stone - cut, color, clarity, etc. - which I thought was awesome. They were very honest about the diamonds we looked at (letting us know what the flaws were and where). I have really small hands, too, so I had to have a ring specially made for me (couldn't size any down small enough!!). I got to customize it to! If there was one tiny thing I didn't like about it, they were happy and willing to take it and fix it for me. The prices were the best we found--especially for the quality!!

I love my ring and they have been great to work with! They matched the online prices and are willing to sit and work with you for long periods of time to find the right one. My fiance didn't feel rushed at all when looking for my ring and they were always patient and let him think about everything. They have tons of options, and showed him everything in his price range. They also taught him a lot about diamonds and other stones. My fiance feels like he learned a lot during this process and says it was a cool experience.

Service was superb. Sierra-West was literally the only jewelry store that had jewelers and salespeople who didn't push you to buy something right away. The first thing Bart asked us was (a) what we were looking for and (b) what our budget was, and went from there. He was very helpful and professional and knowledgeable, and we got a beautiful ring to fit our budget. The only thing that would stop me from giving all 5 stars is that the ring came nearly a month after we ordered it rather than 2 weeks, but that was the supplier's fault because the tracking time estimate provided was incorrect. Still the best place to go to for a beautiful, sparkling ring.

I'm a bit of a maximizer. So we went to literally every quality jewelry store in Utah. I also had a good experience at Wilson's Diamond, but I didn't like their rose gold. I was pretty set on a rose gold setting, but everywhere else it was too red. Sierra West had the prettiest rose gold settings. I picked a style of band that I liked and they recreated it in rose gold. Also, we purchased the center stone online and they didn't charge us the ridiculous fee for doing that. Their prices were by far the most reasonable and they really worked with us within our budget. Also they rushed making it so that my fiance could surprise me before New Years. I was very happy we went with Sierra West.

We bought all our wedding jewelry there. They helped my husband custom design my ring and gave us a discount on purchasing his ring as well. They also let him use a plain band to propose to me until my real ring was ready! I still take my ring there to be cleaned. They have great service, choices and pricing. we have been very satisfied with them.

We got both my ring and my husband's at Sierra West. They were so helpful and nice to work with every time we were in there. I never felt pressured, like I had in the mall stores. We got my ring at the Murray store and his at the Orem, and both stores were clean. We even took the rings to be cleaned before the wedding and they were great about that. I would highly recommend them.

We did a LOT of price checking before going with Sierra West. You have to negotiate a bit, but they will give the best deal.

I went through sierra west for my first marriage and they were wonderful. Great product, great service, you didn't feel like they were going to go out of business. I wasn't as smart from my second engagement and went with another. Hugh mistake. Stay with a name you trust and I can trust this jeweler.

They were very helpful, they were able to make alterations quickly for the simple changes I wanted. They can also design your ring the way you want it or combine different styles that they have there. They were really good at helping you narrow down the choices.

We came to Sierra West after visiting several other jewelers in the area (especially at University Mall). The atmosphere was a lot more relaxed and less rushed. (Well, we are indecisive people, so we came back three times. Two out of the three times we really liked our sales person.) They taught us about ring shopping in general and were very patient with us as we looked at every ring in the store.

When we were finally ready to choose a ring, the salesman helped us by setting out five or so rings that fit the description of what we wanted. Then he had us choose our two favorites and he replaced the other three with other rings he thought we would also like. (He was very careful to choose rings that fit our tastes.) We went on with this process for a little while and we found the perfect ring! It was actually one of the first ones he suggested to us; we never found one we liked better! While this system may not be for everyone, it was good for us.

My fiancé returned later to choose the diamond for the setting. Sierra-West resized the ring for free. We discovered that the white gold rhodium coating looked a little dirty on one side, and so they recoated it for free. If I'm ever passing by, I can also stop in to get my ring cleaned for free.

We went back to get my husband's wedding ring and they gave us 40% off of his ring (because we had gotten my engagement ring there)!

One last thing: they will allow you to design your own ring and they will make a wax model for you so that you can see what it will actually look like before you pay to have a real ring made.

My husband bought my engagement ring and wedding band here. I also bought his band here because they had what he wanted for a discount because of his purchase on my ring. My husband was able to design my ring because I wanted something a little different. It came out great. They set us up with booklets, cleaning supplies and coupons for other wedding planning we needed to do. They even resized my ring for free.

We've been very happy with Sierra West. All of our interactions with them have been great, and they have continued to satisfy us, months past the wedding. They don't charge to clean or polish rings, and they sautered (not sure how to spell that) my wedding band to engagement ring at no charge--I was unsatisfied with how it turned out, so they adjusted it for free. I would highly recommend them. My only complaint is that even after going to the store multiple times, the jeweler we worked with still didn't know our names--and that definitely doesn't matter much.

My husband initially wanted to use this jeweler because he loved the atmosphere in the store and he had great service. But when it came down to the right setting with the right diamond, he found it at a store that he liked less. He just felt good about the stone there though.

The rings were a good value for the cost, and they were flexible when we wanted different things, but their customer service is just average. I think maybe they would have done more if we had spent more money.

I love our rings but it was at times a struggle and have had problems with different sales people at the store. Husbands ring was custom made for 1800 dollars and was bent and scratched when we got it. Still need to get it fixed.

My husband did most of the work with the jeweler. However, I felt like they weren't much of a good deal at all. They DID give him a 'loaner' ring while mine was being custom made, so that was nice.

We paid for my husband's wedding ring at a Wedding Show, and therefore got a great deal! However, when we went into the store to choose the actual ring and get the appropriate size, the salesman was not very professional. He told us a significantly higher price for the ring we chose. We told him about the deal we had received at the Wedding Show. He told us we were wrong, and that they never would sell a ring for that price. After showing him our receipt and the signed sales agreement, he huffed and grumbled and finished helping us. Perhaps he was having a bad day or didn't respect our appearance--we both look younger than we are, and had come straight from an athletic event. However, those are not excuses to disrespect us.

Other than the poor service and rude associate, the ring is great quality! We were happy to get the price we did!

We loved the bridal set. We ordered it from a designer's catalog (we had seen it in another state) and they gave us a great price. We also customized the wedding ring. They messed it up (which I didn't find out until months later when we actually got married) but it turned out ok.

We also felt like we were getting a good deal on the men's band. They had the ring but they offered to custom make it for us for less money so we went for that. They set it in very non-durable white gold. Within two months, the black inset had worn away and the ring was looking very bad. We took it in and they re-cast it, but again, within a few months it looked just as bad. We were not impressed.

My ring was custom-made, and when my fiance went to pick it up--it didn't look like what they had agreed upon. Several stones were missing, and when we gave it back to get fixed, we got it returned with really shoddy work that was very visible. Uneven lines, diamonds set all the way through the band (so there were major holes on the inside of my ring), and asymmetrical mounting. So we went back yet again to get it fixed and wanted some of our money back for all the trouble. They didn't give us any money back, but they finally got it looking lovely and gave us some coupons for free Rhodium plating, the groom's ring was free, and I got a nice jewelry box. Still--we had to fight to get them to acknowledge that their salesman (Mike) had been misleading. Talk to the manager if the ring isn't as expected and get your money's worth!

We first purchased my ring at Sierra West and then my husbands later. 2 months after we bought my ring one of the prongs was broken off while I was moving some boxes. I took it in and they said it would cost $120 to fix, despite the fact that we just bought the ring 2 months ago. We waited until the next day and went in to talk to the manager who sold us the ring. He said they don't recommend that prong setting for that ring (Why did they sell it to us that way?). They fixed it for $60 bucks and gave us a huge discount off of my husbands ring. I thought that policy sucked but I am really happy with the ring. It is SO beautiful I get compliments on it all the time. I looked other places and didn't see any rings like the one I have. Their prices are reasonable and they have styles that no other stores have so it's worth a look!

Wedding rings are expensive and an emotional purchase. Just make sure and do your homework before signing any paperwork or giving any money to any jeweler that isn't refundable. Always get in writing any guarantees from any jeweler you deal with. My 2 cents.

We just did not have a great experience with Sierra West. We custom designed a ring, they brought out a wax mold, I told them it didnt look like the one we had designed, they said it would be the same when they made it. We got the ring it was wrong, the diamond was crooked, the prongs were crooked, the shaping was uneven, the whole thing was just so bad. We took it back and they gave us a major hassle about fixing it, we just went to the top mananger there who was above Bart who we first had worked with and he took care of it somewhat. They redid it and it still wasnt perfect, but we just dealt with it. I would not reccomend this particular store though.

Dishonest and ordered from China

Sierra West: Please be honest and tell your clients you are ordering a custom made ring from China. Also, keep deadlines. Don't forget to place the order for a week and a half. Lastly, upon so many mistakes made by the employee, make it right by offering a refund, not a measly $200 off.

I would NEVER use Sierra West in Provo Utah again! They are dishonest, disrespectful, down right rude!! My daughter has left there too many times in tears from STEVE!! You couldn't pay me enough money to ever shop there again! There are plenty of jewelers in Provo to use - I would STRONGLY suggest looking elsewhere!
