Tuxedo Rental for Wedding

The whole process was quick and easy with Sidestreet Boutique. I ordered a Tuxedo for myself and other groomsmen. They take measurements and help you pick a style. Everyone's tuxedo fit great. Only minor alternations were needed, which they did same day. Super happy with the experience here and I highly recommend this place for formal wear rentals.

I want to say that street boutique was very helpful and knowledgable. They made my wedding stress free. Joanna was such a pleasure to work with! She was helpful through the whole process! Since this was a destination wedding I was a little worried that the suits wouldn’t fit or there would be issues since we tried them on for the first time only a couple days before the wedding. However, they ended up being perfect and our experience couldn’t have been better.

I booked tuxedos for my wedding earlier this month and everything went as planned. Everything was perfect and the quality of the wardrobe was top notch. I needed the pants lengthened and that was done in less than 2r hrs. I have nothing but good things to say. Good work!

Joanna was very helpful in setting us up over email because we had a destination wedding. She pointed us to a very helpful online tux builder from which she was able to order our exact choices. I think we looked great! We had alterations done the day before the wedding. I think only one of my groomsmen could have benefited from a wide shoe size. Our group was small, so we didn't get a discount, but if you have a group of about 6 or more, I think you'll get the groom's free. They are very conveniently located near Stateline on Lake Tahoe Blvd.

We had a destination wedding in South Lake Tahoe at Emerald Bay. We live in South Dakota and I was a little nervous about how to rent a tux from such a long distance. Sidestreet Boutique was awesome! They were so easy to work with and replied quickly to any questions I had. The shop is super cute with lots of fun stuff, too! Thanks for helping make our wedding day so fabulous!

Joanna was great and made my whole wedding party look great. The shoes didn't fit properly on one of my groomsmen, but she was able to take care of that rather fast. Everyone came from far away and they assisted us with no problem. I would definitely recommend Side Street Boutique if you are in Tahoe. They are friendly, fast and fun to work with. Thanks again!

Joanna was great! We originally had reserved tuxedos for our wedding through Men's Wearhouse. When we got the quote back, Sidestreet beat them by about $40 and provided the convenience of being right in town and being very attentive to our needs. Any minor fitting issues were handled easily and everyone looked great. Thanks for making the tuxedo rental so easy!

Joanna was a delight! She made it so easy to get my son's tux for our destination wedding in Tahoe. Joanna sent us the measurement form, and had the tux ready when we arrived in Tahoe on Friday afternoon. Sidestreet Boutique's seamstress did a quick alteration on the spot, and we left the store with the tux in hand for Sunday's ceremony. All the sales associates were polite and professional.

I needed a tux in 2 days for my wedding. I was in southern California and the wedding was in Lake Tahoe. I was able to build my tuxedo using there program over the internet. Then i just had to call them with my measurements and the details of my tuxedo I built. They were able to get my tux on time, and it fit perfect no adjustments needed. Great place!!!!!

We recently used Sidestreet to rent tuxedos for our South Lake Tahoe wedding. We were really nervous as we were coming from out of town, and the two groomsmen were coming from overseas. Joanna was great. She made special arrangements for my husband to try on a tuxedo in advance in the spring while we were in town to do planning, gave us great instructions for measurements, and completed last minute hem/sleeves/shirt size alterations for everyone with plenty of time to spare before the wedding. She even pressed my husband's tie (he decided to use his own rather than a rental). Joanna gave us friendly, professional, high quality service. I would absolutely recommend her services to anyone getting married in the Lake Tahoe area.

Joanna was so excellent to work with and so very helpful! My husband and our groomsmen looked so great. We had an issue with sizing when picking up the tuxes two days before the wedding, but Joanna was able to rectify the problem with no issue. The quality of the suits was excellent too, they all looked very sharp and brand new. Awesome perk...she picks up the suits/tuxes from most major hotels in the South Lake Tahoe area, alleviating one less worry for us when leaving. Thanks Joanna!

Absolutely perfect choice for all of our tuxedo rentals. Joanna was so friendly and made the entire process run so smoothly. They were very reasonable with pricing, had our colors and accommodated many last minute changes from our very large wedding party. I left me cuff links in the pocket of my jacket and she even sent them back to me at no charge. Top notch provider for wedding attire. I would recommend to anyone!

Streetside Boutique was referred to me by our flower vendor for our wedding and I cannot thank her enough for the referral. I had no idea about Streetside or Jim's Formal Wear prior to this. I had originally set up myself and my groomsmen's tuxedos at Men's Wearhouse and paid the deposit. But, I was completely satisfied with the grey tux options at MW and the fact that my wedding would take place in So. Lake Tahoe we would all have to rent and return back to MW and the closet store was in Reno or Sacramento and neither would be able to happen the day after my weeding since i was still to be in Tahoe.
So, i gave Streetside a call and spoke with Joanna, who was extremely helpful and very pleasant to talk to. She personally walked me thru Jim's website and helped me pick out a grey tux that i knew I would be happy with. She also helped me pick out tuxedos for my groomsmen and my future father-in-law, which neither matched mine. She had a great idea for what I wanted and quickly sent me options that I really liked.
Since all of my groomsmen are in different locations I needed to get all of their sizes, not easy to do, but since they have locations that can measure you all over the country for free it was actually quite simple. I sent all 7 sizes to Joanna and she told me not to worry about a thing.
When we all arrived in Tahoe the day before the wedding we went in and tried the tuxedos on. Everything was perfect, minus a couple pants being just a tad too long (mind you the measurements were not taken by Streetside but by others) they were able to hem them within ten minutes and send us on our way.
The tuxedos were just what I was hoping for and the ease of picking up and dropping off made the experience so much more enjoyable and relaxing.
I personally cannot thank Joanna and her team enough for making this once in a lifetime experience so wonderful and painless.

We live in Marietta, Ga, we got married in Tahoe on August 19th. Tuxes needed a little bit of adjustment, they were very expedient in getting this done! Everyone was very nice and helpful! Would highly recommend them!

The strap on the back of the vests didn't stay tight, need better attachment.

This boutique is great. Truly good service here. Options available such as colors and styles are less extensive than other places, but between the great prices and the convenience of being in Tahoe, it was an easy choice to come here.

Only difficulty is getting other members of the party measured at other locations. Some of the Jim's Formal Wear locations are not as professional as this one. Other people had less than ideal experiences.

Anyway, aside from some of the guys having to get measured by other tailors, the experience here was overwhelmingly positive.

Sidestreet was a great place to rent tuxes from for our wedding. The style options were great, the tuxes looked great, and their service was good. Our only negative comments would be that 3 of our 5 tuxes were not very close to fitting when we picked them up. But, Sidestreet was very quick to modify them and had them ready only a few hours later. Also, there was a bit of a language barrier with one associate, which made the trying-on and re-fitting process a bit slower than it could have been.

Joanna is a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. Super knowledgable and adaptable to changing situations. She made my experience managing one groom, six groomsmen, and a ring bearer, well, beyond bearable!

No two of the men in the group were in the city. Joanna helped coordinate with local tailors and took all measurements and ordered for us.

final sizing and adjustments went very well too, with many arrival times.

Net result was a happy Bride, Groom and wedding party!

The ease of getting the tux rented from Montana was great once on the phone with Joanna. The website and phone numbers listed there were not as functional as I would have liked. When we arrived at South Lake Tahoe my husband tried it on, it needed slight alterations, the boutique provided those right then. They also allowed us to leave at the front desk of our resort for pickup instead of us having to get it returned.
