Shupe Homestead

Shupe Homestead had incredible staff and a beautiful venue!! They were very easy to communicate with and made planning a wedding easy and fun! The venue was a great size and very accommodating. We loved everything about them and can’t say enough good things!

Beautiful and Flawless Wedding Celebration

Getting married at this venue brings so many wonderful elements to your special day. The scenery is beautiful and serene. The property is magnificent, both due to the meticulous way it is maintained by Darla Shupe and the extensive nuances and options for memorable photographs. Shupe Homestead brings with it a fully vetted list of vendors with proven success and delivery of food, beverages, entertainment, and more. The icing on the cake is the team from At Your Service, Event Management, who is the primary event partner for Shupe Homestead. Their orchestration of so many moving parts for a wedding is flawless. I couldn’t have been more impressed with the vendors recommended by Shupe Homestead. I literally had no glitches or stress on my wedding day. Professional and trustworthy for weddings or any event.

Beautiful site, amazing people

The Shupe property was a gorgeous setting for our fall wedding, with a mountain backdrop and trees changing colors all around. The additional services provided with the venue include bartenders, staff, a day of coordinator, and an assortment of decor - all of these people went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly and looked amazing. They made our vision come to life and I couldn't have asked for anything more.

Dreamy, Gorgeous Venue!

We could not be happier with our choice in Shupe Homestead for our wedding venue. From the beginning, working with the owner, Darla and with At Your Service event coordinator, Jim was an absolute delight. From the mountain views, to the gorgeous garden and pond, to the open and comfortable reception building, Shupe Homestead is the ultimate place to get married. We got compliments all night about the beauty of the venue and we love how the venue provides the best of all worlds. The service was incredible from start to finish and we cannot stop raving about how much we LOVE Shupe Homestead!

We could not be happier with our choice in Shupe Homestead for our wedding venue. Shupe Homestead was the perfect fit for our wedding!

It was just an afterthought for us to look at Shupe Homestead, as we had looked at 7 other venues already. None of those seemed quite right - too ostentatious, too dated, too something. But one last search for "farm wedding longmont" on Google brought us to this little gem of a place, right in our own town! Darla is the sweetest and thinks of everything so we didn't have to. It's also really wonderful to see people in their element, doing work that they so clearly love to do! The Shupe's property is impeccable and their attention to detail beyond compare. From the backdrop of Longs Peak and Mt. Meeker, with the foothills in the foreground, to the horses and cows in the neighboring farm plots, to the vintage chandeliers and string lights hanging from the trees, with antique chairs around the property... just WOW. So beautiful. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful location or a more professional hostess :-) I hope we have occasion to attend another event at Shupe, so I can enjoy it all over again!

Shupe was incredible!!!!! Darla (the owner) and Jim (the day of coordinator) were such a pleasure to work with form day one. Everyone told me I was so relaxed on my wedding day and it was in large part due to these two making sure everything was just perfect and easy. This venue wants to make sure you have the day of your dreams and will make sure it happens to perfection. I hope to plan another event at Shupe sometime soon, they are just the best!!

We had a beautiful outdoor wedding at Shupe's! Darla was amazing, she helped me figure out details I hadn't thought about. The day of the wedding, everything was organized and she even helped with the ceremony. At the reception, Jim and his staff from At Your Service, were professional, helpful, and very attentive to our guests. It was the perfect venue! We didn't have to worry about a thing!

The location of the venue is absolutely beautiful! The mountains are in the background and horses graze nearby. They can go both outdoor and indoor ceremonies. The value is incredible; we didn't have to rent linens, dinnerware, tables or chairs or staff. Darla is amazing, kind, accommodating and helpful. She was so easy to work with. Jim is very knowledgeable and helped to guide us through the wedding timeline and all of the wedding details we had questions on. Jim also communicated with our other vendors and they had nothing but positive things to say. We were absolutely thrilled to work with Shupe Homestead, they made everything really easy and stress-free. We couldn't be happier!

I absolutely LOVE this venue, as did our guests. It is such a beautiful setting, tucked away between Longmont and Lyons. People kept asking me how I found them, as they don't often appear in searches. The staff was great, Darla and Jim were both fantastic to work with, and made all of our requests a reality. And you just can't beat the backdrop - the Rocky Mountain foothills. The perfect venue.

We just had our daughter's wedding at Shupe Homestead. Shupe is the perfect wedding venue. The outdoor grounds are exquisite, with amazing views of the Rockies, and the indoor event center is perfect sized and comfortable for a good sized wedding. We cannot say enough about how wonderful the experience was working with the owner Darla, and her event manager Jim and the staff. Jim and Darla made planning the wedding easy, answered all our questions, and were very helpful to our daughter as she worked through all the details. On the day of the event, everything was set up beautifully, and the event staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout the evening. As a parent planning a long distance wedding, working with Shupe alleviated so much of our stress and we were confident everything would (and did) go fantastically. Everytime we had a question or thought we had a problem, they had a creative solution. Darla's husband even went to pick up a bridesmaid whose cab never showed up at her hotel, which went beyond anything we expected. I could go on and on, but in sum, Shupe was the best.

Shupe has been wonderful! Darla is absolutely awesome! We have worked with Jim to get all of our details in order. There was some confusion of some of the details initially, but all was corrected. They've been awesome!

We used the Shupe Homestead for our first fundraiser. The venue was perfect for our Family Harvest Festival. Our families enjoyed the outdoor spaces, which gave ample room to play together. What a wonderful location to have your event. From the perfectly manicured gardens, to the amazing event center. Had so many compliments on the venue. Had so many say that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended. Have to also say how professional and informed the organization of both the staff and owners were. Everything went off without a glitch.

This was the first venue we looked at and fell in love the second we saw it. It was perfect. Our day was amazing and we had so many complainants on what a beautiful place it was. It felt like we had it in our own back yard, which was our goal. Darla made sure everything was on time and people were ready. I would get married here every day if I could!

Darla was amazing to work with. She was flexible when I needed her to be but also very clear about their rules and expectations for an event from the very beginning. The property is extremely well-kept and my guests were raving about how beautiful and perfect it was. I could not have been happier with our experience!
