When we decided to have our wedding in Colorado, we wanted a venue that captured the natural beauty of the mountains and also provided an indoor space for the celebration with air-conditioning. Shupe turned out to be a better fit than we could have even hoped for!
We did not need an altar and used the big, beautiful trees at Shupe to frame our ceremony with a view of the mountains behind us. The venue provided amazing angles for pictures, with the flowers around the pond, the great trees, and the blue sky above us. The indoor venue was spacious and comfortable for our dinner and dancing during the reception! We had a live band playing and it was nice to have outdoor fire pits for guests who wanted somewhere quieter to cool off and relax.
Jim was our coordinator at Shupe and was a great help in figuring out all the details, including things like the colors of our plates and table clothes. He had worked with many of our vendors before and helped in making our celebration calm and well-planned for. Altogether, Shupe was great to work with and provided a beauty experience for our special day. Thank you to Shupe and their team!

Shupe Homestead had incredible staff and a beautiful venue!! They were very easy to communicate with and made planning a wedding easy and fun! The venue was a great size and very accommodating. We loved everything about them and can’t say enough good things! -

Getting married at this venue brings so many wonderful elements to your special day. The scenery is beautiful and serene. The property is magnificent, both due to the meticulous way it is maintained by Darla Shupe and the extensive nuances and options for memorable photographs. Shupe Homestead brings with it a fully vetted list of vendors with proven success and delivery of food, beverages, entertainment, and more. The icing on the cake is the team from At Your Service, Event Management, who is the primary event partner for Shupe Homestead. Their orchestration of so many moving parts for a wedding is flawless. I couldn’t have been more impressed with the vendors recommended by Shupe Homestead. I literally had no glitches or stress on my wedding day. Professional and trustworthy for weddings or any event. -

Dreamy, Gorgeous Venue!
We could not be happier with our choice in Shupe Homestead for our wedding venue. From the beginning, working with the owner, Darla and with At Your Service event coordinator, Jim was an absolute delight. From the mountain views, to the gorgeous garden and pond, to the open and comfortable reception building, Shupe Homestead is the ultimate place to get married. We got compliments all night about the beauty of the venue and we love how the venue provides the best of all worlds. The service was incredible from start to finish and we cannot stop raving about how much we LOVE Shupe Homestead! -

The Shupe property was a gorgeous setting for our fall wedding, with a mountain backdrop and trees changing colors all around. The additional services provided with the venue include bartenders, staff, a day of coordinator, and an assortment of decor - all of these people went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly and looked amazing. They made our vision come to life and I couldn't have asked for anything more. -

It was just an afterthought for us to look at Shupe Homestead, as we had looked at 7 other venues already. None of those seemed quite right - too ostentatious, too dated, too something. But one last search for "farm wedding longmont" on Google brought us to this little gem of a place, right in our own town! Darla is the sweetest and thinks of everything so we didn't have to. It's also really wonderful to see people in their element, doing work that they so clearly love to do! The Shupe's property is impeccable and their attention to detail beyond compare. From the backdrop of Longs Peak and Mt. Meeker, with the foothills in the foreground, to the horses and cows in the neighboring farm plots, to the vintage chandeliers and string lights hanging from the trees, with antique chairs around the property... just WOW. So beautiful. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful location or a more professional hostess :-) I hope we have occasion to attend another event at Shupe, so I can enjoy it all over again! -

Petra Sent on 02/21/2017The location of the venue is absolutely beautiful! The mountains are in the background and horses graze nearby. They can go both outdoor and indoor ceremonies. The value is incredible; we didn't have to rent linens, dinnerware, tables or chairs or staff. Darla is amazing, kind, accommodating and helpful. She was so easy to work with. Jim is very knowledgeable and helped to guide us through the wedding timeline and all of the wedding details we had questions on. Jim also communicated with our other vendors and they had nothing but positive things to say. We were absolutely thrilled to work with Shupe Homestead, they made everything really easy and stress-free. We couldn't be happier! -

The most amazing wedding venue! Darla, Jim, and his team were absolutely incredible. The venue was gorgeous and exactly what we were looking for. We knew right away it was perfect for us. The front range view, the beautiful landscaping, and the indoor rustic reception site were marvelous. From all of the wedding details, we probably received the most compliments on how gorgeous our venue was, so you cannot go wrong. It helped so much to have so many elements included and taken care of- coordinator, tables and chairs, table cloths, napkins, bartender, servers, the arch, and many of the decorations. I didn't even feel the need to have a florist included in the day because of the landscaping and natural elements that were already part of Shupe. That helped a ton! We loved the feeling of being doted on and feeling so special and taken care of. A DEEP heart felt thank you to Shupe and the At Your Service Event Management Team. You make dreams come true!! -

Darla and her staff make this the perfect venue for couples looking for a gorgeous location and breathtaking views. We loved the freedom to select our own vendors without restriction. The staff work diligently to ensure that each detail is taken into consideration from support with table rental decorations prior to the event, to set-up and food service during the event. We could not have asked for a more perfect day and much of that is thanks to the venue and the incredible staff. We HIGHLY recommend this venue for couples looking for a beautiful location on the front range with mountain views and a personal touch.
