We had sheers placed in the beams of the Barn with uplighting and sheers at the end of the barn at the large windows and the ladder with the Edison lights at the sweetheart table…they added to the beautiful ambiance of all the candles throughout the barn and lightened it up a bit. Sierra has been wonderful to work with and she did a beautiful job of maintaining our budget while helping us create the most beautiful and magical look to our party! Shumaker had everything set up and taken down the day before and after our wedding day, so we did not see them, but I really appreciated their timely responses to my emails and that they connected with our wedding coordinator to coordinate set up and take down times. We were pleased with what we paid for the service and the setup was exactly as pictured when we selected it! -

Shumaker was absolutely incredible to work with. They transformed our barn at The Farm at Eagles Ridge into something magical. The draping, lighting, and overall atmosphere they created elevated the entire wedding to a level that felt unreal.
There’s a photo of my wife and me at our sweetheart table that I look at almost every day. Between the florals, the ladder installation, and the way the lighting framed the space, it genuinely felt like we were transported into a fairy realm.
My favorite moment of the whole day happened during our first dance. When I lifted my wife and looked up at her, the cascading lights Shumaker installed were perfectly framing her face. It was so angelic that I momentarily forgot the next part of our choreography because I was so swept up in the beauty of the moment. Their work didn’t just decorate the venue, it enhanced the emotion of the day.
Their team was professional, kind, and incredibly skilled. They took the space to another level, and we are so grateful for the care and artistry they brought to our wedding. I cannot say enough amazing things about Shumaker PDT! They were a huge help starting over a year before my wedding; helping me plan every aspect of our reception décor, from the warm, elegant lighting in the Empire Room at Excelsior to the magical twinkle lights and disco balls that transformed the dance floor downstairs.
When I walked in for our first dance, I truly felt like I was in a dream, and countless guests complimented the lighting and overall atmosphere throughout the night. Sierra was incredible to work with: kind, knowledgeable, and such a joy through every detail.
Everything was seamless: they coordinated perfectly with my florist behind the scenes, handled all logistics, and made the day completely stress-free. Not only did everything look stunning, but it was also affordable and exactly what I envisioned.

We are beyond thrilled with everything that Shumaker PDT did to bring our wedding vision to life! From the moment we walked into the space, we were blown away by how the drapery and design completely transformed the room into an elegant, romantic, and unforgettable atmosphere. It truly set the tone for the entire evening.
Working with Joann Reisinger was an absolute pleasure. She was professional, responsive, and incredibly accommodating throughout the entire process. No question or request was ever too much, and she made the planning experience seamless and enjoyable.
One of the moments that really stood out was how she handled a very last-minute request I had: adding a circular table for a cigar bar. Not only did she make it happen without hesitation, but the cigar bar ended up being a massive hit with our guests! It was such a fun and unique touch, and we’re so grateful she was able to bring that idea to life.
Thanks to Joann and the entire Shumaker PDT team, our wedding space looked even more beautiful than we could have imagined. Their creativity, flexibility, and attention to detail truly exceeded our expectations.

We selected our wedding venue because of its natural beauty with wooden beams and exposed brick. We truly didn't need to do much to enhance the space - that's what we loved about it. Our coordinator recommended Shumaker PDT to us if we wanted to add any twinky lights, drapery, or extras on the ceiling's wooden beams. We ended up adding white uplighting, a hanging ladder for flowers, twinkly lights, and drapery from Shumaker PDT and it is one of the best wedding day decisions we could have made. Working with them was super simple and the setup happened so seamlessly. We received compliments from our guests all night long. While our venue was already beautiful, the added components from Shumaker PDT made the space feel so dreamy, intimate, and romantic. All of our ceremony photos now have a beautiful floral bar above us and it felt like we were dancing under the stars during our reception. I can't speak highly enough of Shumaker PDT. They do incredible work at an incredibly fair price and could enhance even the most already-beautiful spaces. If you want to add an extra special touch to your wedding venue, I highly recommend Shumaker! We got married at the Inn at Leola Village, and Shumaker made it so easy to customize the space. They had pre-listed options for our specific room in the venue with options that are often used there. I was able to pick and choose my favorite designs and elements. They were so responsive and worked with us through it all. The room was already beautiful, but the draping, floral ring, and boxwoods from Shumaker really pushed it over the edge and made it unique and extra special. Disco Ball Excelsior Wedding
Originally I was planning on doing a custom lighting situation. Shumaker was very responsive and creative with my vision. Unfortunately because of restriction of the venue, we weren't able to do my custom design. Regardless they were helpful with the designing process. Once I learned the bad news of my design, Shumaker offered alternatives that closely matched what I was envisioning. We ended up going with the disco balls and were very satisfied with the outcome. Once the decision was made, I did not have to be involved what so ever. They worked closely with the venue and coordinator which alleviated stress leading up to the wedding. I highly recommend anyone to go with the disco balls. The mood lighting brought people on the dance floor and it truly was beautifulShumaker PDT's reply:

Magic and Romance
Shumaker was amazing and they added such a special touch to our day. Our venue works with them often so once they were booked and paid they worked directly with the venue coordinator to determine load in and out times. They were so quick and professional and I didn't even notice when they came to remove the ceremony draping. We got so many compliments on the space and general and "oh the ceiling". It added the perfect amount of magic and romance to our day. -

Drapes, lighting, greenery wall & lounge set
We got married at The Cork Factory Hotel in Lancaster, PA on September 29, 2023.
When we saw the venue in 2021, we thought we weren’t going to decorate much because we loved the venue for what it was.
While scrolling on instagram, I saw a previous bride has tagged our venue. She had beautiful drapes and lighting. I was obsessed with finding out who did it so I reached out to my venue coordinator.
She suggested Shumaker. They were a preferred vendor and worked at their venue weekly. That made me feel more comfortable because I knew they would execute perfectly.
Once I inquired with JoAnn, I was hooked. They are professional, fairly priced and have products that are amazing quality.
What started as lights and drapes on the ceiling ended with a greenery wall and a lounge set as well. It was all a HUGE HIT!
If you removed the drapes and lighting, the wedding would have not been what it was. It was the best decision we made to take our venue was beautiful to breath taking. -

Mirror Ball Dancefloor Dream!
A fun part of wedding planning! From my first meeting at Shumaker's studio in Lancaster to wedding day, Shumaker was a joy to work with. We used 'just enough' to elevate our wedding at Excelsior. We used the hanging bar over our head table for florals, a lounge set in the grande salon, and the large mirror ball. The mirror ball made my disco reception dreams a reality! Shumaker is a great option for any event or wedding decor. They have a very wide selection ranging across many styles and themes, so whether you have something specific in mind or are wanting multiple eclectic pieces like me, you'll have plenty to choose from. JoAnn was great to work with; very responsive and helpful in explaining the different options that would best complement your wedding venue.
The install team checked in on the morning of my wedding to make sure everything was coming together the way we talked about and they were so nice! Everything turned out so amazing and JoAnn was great at working within my budget so we had just enough pieces to help fill out the space.Shumaker PDT's reply:

Amazing experience!

Worth every penny!
We got married at Excelsior and chose Shumaker to help us decorate the space. We were so thrilled with the final outcome! Our original motivator was to get draping in the interior in case it rained and we needed to get married inside, but once we saw the 3 ft disco ball we knew we wanted to have it! We ended up decorating with the 3ft disco ball connected to the ivory draped romance. We also opted for the ivory welcome entrance drape. Every element was gorgeous and really elevated the downstairs of Excelsior! JoAnn and the team at Shumaker were friendly and responded quickly. They worked seamlessly with our venue to coordinate drop off/ pickup times- we were completely hands off which was one less worry during the final days before the wedding. I would absolutely work with Shumaker again- they have a great selection of products!Shumaker PDT's reply:

Shumaker's draping and floral ring was a popular choice for my venue and was featured in a lot of their wedding gallery photos, so when I decided on the venue I knew I needed to have them! The Bello Draping, floral ring, and uplighting we chose for our reception really completed the look of the space and elevated it SO MUCH! All of our guests raved about the gorgeous look of the room. They were also so communicative and quick to answer questions, we worked with Sierra. The service was easy and even though I already knew exactly what I wanted, I can tell that they would also be super helpful in aiding someone design a space too! 10 out of 10, I can't thank Sierra and Shumaker enough for making my wedding dreams come true!Shumaker PDT's reply:

Wedding Lighting and Drapery
We LOVED our lighting and drapery from Shumaker PDT! We recently got married at the Cork Factory Hotel. We added Edison bulbs, overhead twinkle lights, and ceiling drapery to venue. After going back and forth if it was worth the money, we rented a metal ring to suspend above our dance floor (for florals) and a canopy of lights and I have ZERO regrets! It elevated our reception room to everything I had imagined. The shumaker team is super easy to work with, they are very familiar with Excelsior so once you book they handle everything for you. I would book them again in a heartbeat. -

Highly recommend
Would highly recommend Shumaker PDT for all your lighting needs. The installation over the sweetheart table truly elevated our space and was beautiful in all of our pictures. Our guests complimented it all night. Additionally, we loved the vibe that the twinkle lights created over the dance floor! Beautiful space for our guests to dance the night away. Shumaker was responsive, easy to work with and on time for the installations. Highly recommend! -

A Fairytale Wedding with Shumaker!
I can't even begin to describe how thankful I am for the ShumakerPDT team! From day one, they were so kind and easy to work with. They were super responsive and always happy to answer any questions I had (and I had a lot!). They were also super helpful with making any changes along the way! The team took my initial vision and made it a reality, turning my dream venue (The Farm at Eagles Ridge) into the fairytale wedding of my dreams with their beautiful draping and lighting. We ended up booking their Starlight Dance Floor and Chandelier Drape, as well as their Suspended Plank with Edison Lamps. Stunning! Book them!! You won't be disappointed, and your dreams can become a reality too! -

Magic!
Shumaker PDT truly transformed our wedding venue into a magical wonderland! They knocked our vision out of the park. They were amazing to work with from start to finish. there's no words for how absolutely stunning shumaker made my wedding look. My guests jaws were on the ground and i have not stopped getting phone calls from everyone telling me how beautiful everything was. My husband and I hired Shumaker PDT for our September 2022 wedding at Excelsior one year ago and Dustin was amazing every step of the way through our wedding planning!
Dustin took the time to set up a zoom call with me so I could meet him “face-to-face” and listened to all of my visions about how I wanted the look and feel to be on our special day. He offered great suggestions, and in the end, Shumaker PDT made all of my inspirations come to life!
I selected the Trio of Rings rings (for the green wall/florals), Suspended Pipe for Florals (for above our head table) and the Starfield Festoon Canopy (for our dance floor). Everything was so beautiful, I highly recommend Dustin with Shumaker PDT!Shumaker PDT's reply:

My husband and I hired Shumaker PDT to hang our wedding ballroom drapes, twinkle lights, and suspended ladder for our alter. They were in and out with the installation and were so prepared! Without Shumaker products, our ballroom would have looked so bare and empty. The drapes and lights made the whole room feel so cozy and homey, and we got a ton of compliments! We used Shumaker for our May wedding at the Farm at Eagles Ridge. We chose a twinkle light and draping package for the ceiling of the barn. Our venue recommended Shumaker and their team did not disappoint. They have a ton of options to consider to add a little extra detail to your wedding. We added drapery, twinkle lights, uplighting and a ladder with Edison bulbs. It was perfect for our big day. Shumaker PDT is a wonderful vendor for rental needs
After some research in the best ways to decorate our space (the cork factory hotel) for our April 2022 wedding, we decided to book with Shumaker PDT! We went with the center draping and the twinkle lights to dress up the ballroom where we would be having our wedding ceremony and reception. We also rented two chairs for our sweetheart table.
