Five Star DJ!

Tommy and Teresa were amazing. For my daughter's wedding we did not use a wedding planner. Tommy and Teresa walked us through the timing of the reception so everything would flow seamlessly. Their experience is invaluable. The music was great...exactly what my daughter and son-in-law envisioned and the dance floor was always packed. Tommy even worked with us to prank our daughter with tailored music for the daddy daughter dance. This was the second time we have used Shoresound Production (they were the DJ at my wedding) and I highly recommend them! Their professionalism is top notch.

Wedding DJ!

Shoresound is the best of the best. My husband and I got married on April 4th in downtown Southport. Shoresound is a local company that knows the area and the vibes through and through. Would use them again and again!

Best Wedding DJ

Tommy and Teresa are such a great team! They made sure every song I wanted was played and kept everything running smoothly all day. The dance floor was packed all night, and our guests had the best time. They’re so kind, easy to work with, and truly the best team you could ask for. I can’t recommend them enough!

Best DJ / Event Planner-Wedding Director every!!!

Tommy and Teresa are simply the best! I was hesitant at first, having dealt with a number of DJ's before, but the minute we met Tommy in person, we knew he was "our guy". Teresa was a lovely (much needed surprise) and helped make ours a wonderful, memorable wedding! There was not one guest at our wedding that did not dance, they kept our party grooving.
I recommend them both, lovely couple, lovely people, both extremely knowledgeable of their craft and true professionals! My husband and I were blessed to have them both by our side on our special day.

The Best!!

I cannot say enough good things about Tommy and Teresa!! They were very kind, attentive, and responsive. They were constantly checking to make sure that they had everything we needed- before and during the wedding! All of my guests had nothing but good things to say about them. We have used Shoresound Productions twice now and they have consistently been wonderful to work with. Fantastic!!

Tommy and Teresa were great to work with!! They were accommodating to all of our requests, professional, organized, and so much fun! They kept the dance floor busy and played a variety of music to play something everyone who attended our wedding would enjoy. Our service went off without a hitch, and they brought and set up all of their own equipment for both the ceremony (on the beach) and the reception. I would highly recommend them for your next event!

Amazing Experience

Shoresound Productions is extremely professional and welcoming. They have a system that allows you to choose songs you want, but also songs you do not want. We talked with them over the phone before the wedding and told them our requests. They listened and everyone had an amazing night dancing away! They are truly the best company and I would recommend them to anyone!

Super Kind and Talented DJ

Wedding at Brooklyn Arts Center

The Robbins duo helped to execute the wedding of my dreams! All of the music and announcing by Tommy was absolutely perfect and everyone stayed on the dance floor the entire night!! Incredible! The platform they use to allow you to pick all of your favorite tunes was very user friendly as well.

Tommy and Teresa were so wonderful to work with! We had many communications back and forth and they were always available. Tommy and Teresa are the best!!

Tommy and Teresa are some of the nicest, easiest-to-work-with
people out there. We started planning with them about a year before our
wedding, and they made the whole process so easy. Tommy was an amazing DJ -
checked with me about certain songs before playing them (without being too
overbearing during the reception) and kept most of our guests on the dance
floor the whole time. Many guests commented afterward about how great he
was. He will also take pictures for you during your event and share them
with you right away, which is great for couples who hate waiting for their
pictures! Teresa was available at all times leading up to our wedding and
talked with me on the phone for hours going over every detail of our whole
day. She had so many great ideas that made our day run more smoothly. They
are the best of the best in the Southport area!

Southport wedding

Tommy was our DJ for my daughter's wedding and he was amazing! He kept everyone on the dance floor all night and respected my daughter's wishes for music. He was kind, caring, and super fun. Our guests are still talking about him! He and his wife were a huge help as this was a destination wedding. He was available anytime for advice on vendors, the area and countless other things. Tommy and Teresa did the music for my wedding at Holden Beach, and they were great! Very responsive and easy to work with. It was nice being able to create our own playlist in their online system, especially since we didn't want typical wedding music. They even came out to the beach house where we were having the wedding a few days in advance to scout out the location and talk through the details. It rained partway through our reception, and they just moved their equipment to a drier spot and kept on playing. Highly recommended!!!

I first met Tommy when I was coordinating a wedding in Wilmington, NC. Tommy and his assistant Linda, were ready to please the bride and groom. I could tell right away they were top notch by the questions they asked and the way they worked. They get to know the wedding couple in advance and work to find the perfect music. I was so impressed, that when my own daughter became engaged, I said we have to use Shoresound Productions! They were one of the first vendors we booked. Since our reception was at a brand new venue in Wilmington, Tommy and his wife, Teresa came to see the the building about 2 months prior, we walked through the timeliine and discussed the outside cocktail hour which would include the wedding party introductions. I still keep hearing how great the big wedding party's intro was, as Tommy nailed it with the 20+ names and their individual dances. Then after dinner, the dance floor was packed all night. Not sure how 140 people can all dance at once but they did! I am fortunate to have 2 upcoming weddings with Shoresound Productions and I'm looking forward to it!

Hi Tommy!

I was so incredibly happy with your DJ services on my wedding day! I was truly impressed at how thorough you were with each specific part of the reception music, from the first song to the last. Making the call about a week out and then making the trip down to the venue the week of just to go over everything and take the time to see the place yourself was awesome. I got to meet you and run through everything in person while you were able to see the venue and plan your set up out properly before the big day. I received numerous compliments on how great the music was and how perfect the choices were for each "phase" of the reception (cocktail, dinner, dancing, events) were, which was so awesome considering I gave you one massive list with not a whole lot of direction. You adapted to our "non conventional" choices during the reception and were not overbearing with having to have a voice within the reception like so many DJs try to do.

I cannot say enough about Tommy! He and his wife made planning a breeze! The music at our event went off without a hitch and they did the ceremony AND the reception. If there was a song I said no go on he made sure it wasn’t played. If he noticed a song was killing the dance floor mood he switched it fast. Thanks for the great night!

I don't know where to begin... My wedding was flawless. Every detail was handled and then some. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding day. The best part was that I didn't need to worry about anything. I was able to relax and spend some much needed down time on the beach during the day while Teresa and her crew handled everything else. I was able to soak in every moment of my wedding without having to worry about a thing. Highly, highly recommend!

From the first conversation with Tommy and Teresa, we knew we had the right people for the job. They were always available to answer questions and provide guidance and advice while we were planning the music for our wedding. The planning tools they use make it extremely easy to choose from a wide selection of various music genres. If by chance they don't have a specific song, they will do their very best to add it to the music selection. We had multiple songs we wanted played during the prelude and processional; every song was right on cue. Both Tommy and Teresa made our day extra special...they're the BEST.

Tommy Robbins and his wife Teresa are by far the best DJ company to work with in Oak Island and the surrounding areas. When my husband and I decided to get married in Oak Island they were the first and only DJ every one kept referring us to. Not only are you getting a DJ but when booking with Shoresound Productions you are getting the entire package deal. Tommy and Teresa make a great team. They helped out from the up lighting to planning and making sure everything went smooth. Tommy knows his music and knows how to keep a crowd dancing. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ. One thing I do recommend is booking them far in advance as they are high in demand !!! I would recommend him to everyone and if we could do it again I wouldn't have changed one thing. Tommy's professionalism and ability to read a group is fantastic. Also Tommy took pictures of my reception before anyone got there. My photographer was unable to because he was at our wedding site location taking pictures of us. This really meant a lot to me :) Tommy and Teresa I can't thank you enough for all of the time and effort you put in to making our big day so special.

My wife and I had a wedding at Ocean Isle Inn and Shoresound (Tommy) provided the music for the ceremony and Teresa (Tommy's wife) was our wedding planner. Everything was perfect and exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for sound or a DJ from Tommy. DJ Tommy exceeded our expectations for a DJ. He was extremely quick in responding to questions and messages that we would send to him. Both Mr. & Mrs. Robbins met with my husband and me to really get a feel for who we were and the style of music that we would want at our reception. They gave us a detailed run through of the portal that they use to create the reception playlist. DJ Tommy called me the week of my wedding to make sure that he had every detail for the night and even asked me what he could do to go above and beyond his responsibilities. One thing that I really loved bout DJ Tommy is that he would answer questions that I didn't even know how to ask. His assistant for the night was very attentive to our wedding party and helped everything run so beautifully. The music was FANTASTIC and DJ Tommy had the dance floor crowded all night long! If you are in the Brunswick County Area...I HIGHLY recommend Shoresound Productions.

Tommy and his team played at my nieces wedding and did a fantastic job rocking the house in Ocean Isle Beach. She was left without a DJ and within 30 minutes he arrived set-up and played the first song and the crowd went wild everyone was yelling and clapping. Tommy and the Shoresound Productions team saved my wedding. He is the nicest man and his team is extremely kind and professional. My now husband and were stranded with out a Dj on our wedding day. Tommy and his team arrived at our wedding within 20 minutes and they begun to down load our original wedding playlist. They ended up rocking the house. We danced the night away as husband wife with the best DJ in town. We call him super hero DJ! He saved my wedding night. We could not have been happier with him and his services. Little did I know that not only were we getting a DJ, but also an event coordinator! Tommy and Teresa were awesome! Their online site provides forms for planning, requesting songs, and timing events. The playlist is extensive and diverse. They arrived early and worked behind the scenes to ensure everyone had a fun, memorable time. Teresa kept the timing on track and notified us when we were about to begin a requested song for the next event, such as the cake cutting. They're both so personable and pleasant to work with; I would definitely recommend Shoresound to anyone in need of DJ services!

Tommy and Teresa were fabulous to work with while planning my wedding. They were very available via phone or email to answer questions about the timeline of events and make updates to our contract. This was especially helpful since i was planning a North Carolina wedding from Boston. We used Shoresound for both the ceremony and reception music. Tommy arranged for setup ahead of time at our venue and breakdown from our beach ceremony so there would be seamless transition between the two for our guests. We also added uplighting which was perfect. I would definitely recommend this as it created a really nice ambiance without having to use the harsh overhead lights our venue had.

Teresa helped guide us through ceremony music choices and even helped us with recommendations which was great. Everything went smoothly the day of the wedding and the dance floor was full the whole night! He played a variety of music that had everyone dancing and laughing right up until the end of the reception. I couldn't have been happier with the service they provided and the value! I would definitely recommend them to anyone and can't thank them enough for helping to make our wedding day perfect =)

Tommy, Teresa, and their assistant Linda were absolutely amazing to work with! From the very first phone call I had with Tommy and Teresa, I knew my wedding would be unforgettable. The tools they have to ensure your wedding is EXACTLY how you want it were priceless-and at any point, if I had questions, they were wonderful at offering advice and guidance. I planned our wedding from a few hundred miles away so communication was EXTREMELY important to me-they both answered emails quickly and I even had each of their cell phone numbers to text if needed. Linda was a huge asset the day of the wedding-Teresa couldn't make it unfortunately but Linda helped keep everyone on time and organized. She was even able to snap a few shots and post them to our wedpics account! I can not recommend ShoreSound enough-thanks to them, our guests danced the night away on the Cape Fear River :)

Tommy saved the day! Our officiant was late! Not by much, but enough that Tommy was able to step up and start entertaining early. Then the audio equipment the officiant brought for the ceremony didn't work. Tommy had extra equipment on site and quickly set it up for us to use during the ceremony. I don't think the guests even knew there was a problem. The professionalism and adaptability of this husband wife team is outstanding. Teresa helped us out with the planning even though we didn't hire her, as she was already booked for another event our wedding day. I couldn't have been more happy with our decision to use them.

Tommy and his wife were top notch. We have used another company for my other daughter's wedding and they did not come close to the quality and detail oriented that Tommy did. We all had fun and everything was organized and it was a great wedding evening. He went above and beyond and took pictures of things that we did not expect and sent them to us that night. Couldn't have picked a better DJ service! Our wedding was out of town and we didn't have any connections in the area, after speaking with Tommy and Teresa one time we knew that they would be a perfect fit. Planning was very easy with the help of their website, they worked with us to make last minute changes to songs, and kept the party going all night (stayed an extra hour upon request)!

Tommy and Teresa were extemely flexible to ensure our wedding day was perfect! They were easy to work with and bent over backwards to find the songs that we requested. We worked through Ocean Isle Inn to acquire Tommy and Teresa's services. They came highly recommended and fulfilled the reputation that proceeded them.

Tommy and Teresa were a pleasure to work with and created an energetic, relaxed, and extremely fun environment for our wedding. We have received complements from many of our friends saying our playlist was the best they have ever heard from any wedding. My husband is a music fanatic and had requests that weren't available in the library. Tommy found the exact version of every request my husband made. The timing of all the songs was perfect to correspond with the timeline of the evening. We were so well taken care of by Tommy and Teresa. I would use them again in a heartbeat!!

Tommy and Teresa were amazing to work with. They came and scoped out my site (a beach house in Holden Beach, NC) before hand and we quickly and easily worked together on how the night would go. The night of was perfect. Tommy played all the music I requested and even added to and I was happy with ALL of it! My family and friends loved Tommy too. Tommy took great videos and pictures all night as well and got some great shots. We all had a BLAST dancing and singing because of Shoresound. It was perfect, everything I hoped for and more.
