Company Christmas Party
Shockwave did an amazing job at our company Christmas party on 12/14/24! On top of music, Jeff was very helpful in facilitating the schedule for the party! He even had a surprise Santa come in for the kids at the party (this was not requested, he did that on his own). Great all around service!

Jeff was very easy to work with for my daughter’s recent wedding. He stayed in communication and was willing to meet with us as often as we wanted to make sure everything went smoothly. He helped develop an organized schedule of events and those events went as scheduled. He was flexible with everything and genuinely seemed to try very hard to meet any expectations we might have.

We used shockwave for our small reception & Jacob made us forget that it was a intimate reception. The energy was great! We had a few children there and he was patient with their music requests (we gave them permission to take requests).

We just used Shockwave Entertainment for our wedding on April 1st and I have nothing but good things to say about this company! We hired them kinda last minute but they were sooooo easy to work with and the communication was great too! They were even willing to add/change uplighting like the day before! We hired Shockwave to DJ our wedding and they performed above and beyond our expectations! They respected all requests we made, checked on us throughout the evening, and made sure our guests had an amazing time! DJ Josh & shockwave entertainment was everything we wanted!
We had DJ Josh for our wedding. He arrived early, listened to our last minute changes that took place during rehearsal and made everything happen like we wanted. He was amazing. He was very flexible during our timeline but also helped us stay on schedule with things! I absolutely have ZERO complaints for Shockwave Entertainment!! I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

Loved working with Shockwave! Jeff is very responsive and they are as flexible or rigid with the timeline as you want them to be. Our DJ was very professional and interacted with our guests to help everyone feel comfortable and have fun. He was on time and everything flowed VERY smoothly. Only negative was that our venue requested we have no songs with profanity, but a couple were played anyway. I'm sure it was just an oversight, and the songs were still very mild. The venue owner didn't even notice, so no big deal.

The best bang for your buck!
Highly recommend! To start off he wasn’t always calling to get information. He called twice to get my songs and my timeline, the second time was to confirm those details and get anything I didn’t have the call prior. As a bride that’s nice because you have so many other venders always calling you. The day of the wedding I didn’t have to do anything. Jeff and josh came in and set everything up and just started running with it. They were very interactive with the guests from the time they got there until they were walking out the door. Jeff did all of the formal stuff for us and Josh did all of our reception songs and dancing. At one point he was even out on the dance floor dancing with my guests! I loved that. I will def be using them again in the future for my big events.

My DJ backed out on us 2 weeks before the wedding and that was the best thing that could’ve happened! Josh with Shockwave Entertainment made our wedding dreams come true!! He arrived early and had everything ready to go before the guests started showing up. He played off my playlist but also was good at reading the crowd and played music based on what had us dancing and having a good time. My sister was having a breakdown before giving her speech and Josh talked with her personally and made accommodations to make her feel more comfortable. He wasn’t only a great DJ, he became a friend. He went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!! Thank you Josh for everything!!!!

Jeff Wells at Shockwave was so great to us!!! Our wedding was postponed from its original date due to Covid, and Jeff was so great with working with us on a new date, new times, etc. He is also a wonderful emcee and helped keep our timeline moving as I wanted it to. Magical day!
Jeff and Josh DJ'd our wedding. I can not Express in words how awesome they were, but I am certainly going to try! First of all, i could not have made it through the day without them!!! They did so much more than play music, they pretty much orchestrated the whole ceremony and reception. I gave them my timeline and they ensured things ran smoothly. It took such a burden off me because they kept in contact with the caterer, pastor, photographer, etc. They seriously were like my day of coordinator. When i went inside to get dressed, i handed the reins over and they flawlessly handled it all for me. Our caterer was late, but they didnt miss a beat, and we just adjusted the events to compensate. I dont even think the guests noticed. And let's talk about the garter toss!!! They had a nice little surprise for us and actually made everyone line up and my man had to dance to me. They had the whole crowd going wild and cheering him on, it was fantastic!! Neither of us knew that was coming. But my god can they get the crowd going. And they even played all the corny dances I asked for, like cupid shuffle and casper slide etc.
They were absolutely fantastic!! And you will not be disappointed. Not to mention their sound system had my backyard popping!

Awesome DJ
Jeff and his team were great! Our venue required him to make many announcements, and he did that professionally while still keeping the mood light. He was entertaining and fun, but not too much. He is very knowledgeable in the industry and gave us guidelines for choosing music while using our song requests. We only met with him once in person, the rest was completed online or through email, so if you are from out of town or have a busy schedule they were very easy to work with.

Honestly, probably the best DJ in Statesboro. He was recommended by many of my vendors. Shockwave literally ran the show at my wedding, and I'm SOOO glad they did!

Our Day ❣️
Jeff and Josh were Amazing to work with! Jeff worked with us when I had to changed my date. He was there with us to set up beach ceremony and to set venue as well. Always willing to lend a helping hand and bring in fresh ideas to make our day special and be to remember. To my surprise Jeff can also Officiate as well ! So we reached out to him to do our ceremony as well. It was wonderful and so us he didn't miss a detail ! Kudos to Jeff and Shockwave Entertainment !! Definitely would use them again!

Hands down the best decision we made during the wedding planning process! Jeff was incredibly professional from the moment we first spoke. He responds quickly and thoroughly. He made us feel like his only priority every time we spoke even when our wedding was months away! Shockwave Entertainment exceeded our every expectation. Jeff was well prepared and allowed us to customize as little or as much as we wanted to when it came to music. Jeff kept us on schedule (as I requested) and was incredible at "reading the room". He knew exactly what songs to play to get our guests up and dancing. Jeff was fun, caring, professional, engaging, and entertaining. Shockwave was amazing to work with. On the day of our wedding we had to make a last minute decision to move the ceremony due to the rain or rather massive thunderstorm. They were quick, efficient, and happily accommodating to the changes. They also were willing to change the schedule and continued to check in with me to make sure I was happy and didn't need anything. He even got me my drink for dinner. Shannon went above and beyond and I would recommend them for any event not just weddings.

Great experience with only one minor mishap.
Great experience with Shockwave. The ONLY issue we had was playing a song at the start of our reception that was not on our playlist (we had a VERY specific playlist that they were told to adhere to), and it was a little embarrassing because it was a very "clubby" song that just didn't fit our wedding at all. However, they recovered quickly, and everything else went perfectly. Stuck to the playlist we had and asked me for approval before playing anything not on it (i.e., requests). Also very responsive and easy to work with.

From our first phone conversation I knew that Jeff and Shockwave Entertainment was our guy. He sounded fun and energetic and knew he would be a good fit for our wedding crowd!
When it came to the day of, Jeff truly went above and beyond. He was even stepping in and helping our photographer when he could! I knew he would not have trouble getting folks to dance in our crowd but the way he was able to keep the energy flowing throughout the night surpassed my expectations and by the last dance there wasn't enough room on the dance floor so many folks stayed and had continued to dance! Our wedding would not have been nearly as perfect without Jeff and Shockwave Entertainment! We love you, Jeff!

Even when I thought my requests were too outrageous — for example timing our introductions with the chorus of a song — he made us feel like he was happy to do it all and he did it perfectly. Working with Shockwave was a great experience and helped take away some of the wedding stress. They were so helpful throughout the whole process and always ensured that we were happy. Their website was so organized and user friendly that it was a breeze to work out all the little details. Our DJ from the Shockwave team was Josh and he could not have been any more enjoyable. Jeff is absolutely amazing!! He was always easy to get in touch with and was flexible on meeting times and places. (Even willing to have a phone meeting at 7:00 p.m. because of mine and my husband's work schedules and living away from Statesboro). Come wedding day, Jeff was incredibly insightful to what we wanted and was even willing to change the run of show at the last minute and be flexible in the timeline that ended up working best for the reception. Jeff was an amazing DJ!!!!! He also provided the ceremony music and emceed the whole reception. The dance floor was packed the whole night. He and his son were very involved with the guests- Jeff led a train while his son did the worm in the middle of the dance floor- their energy was so fun! They truly went above and beyond to keep the crowd going. It was very clear how experienced he was and, without his help in the planning process, I would have been lost! He helped develop the song list and gave great tips on song selection. He developed our timeline and kept us on track the whole night. Highly recommended!

Jeff was extremely helpful from the start. Music was one of the most important things for us as we wanted to keep everyone dancing. Jeff and Shockwave did not disappoint! Everyone had a blast and he was a key part of that. We really appreciated that he was flexible and came and meet us when we were in town, as for us it was a destination wedding in Savannah and we only had certain weekends we could go to the venue and meet with the vendors. Jeff also listened to us on what we wanted and also gave us some suggestions to help plan the timing out so the whole night would go smoothly. He helped create and print out a timeline to walk through the plan of the reception to make sure we were comfortable with everything. On the day of, everything went perfect, he arrived on time and set up the lighting, which looked great, and he kept the night moving as we went from dinner to cake cutting to dancing. Jeff has a lot of experience and that definitely shows and it was very helpful to have him there. We had an amazing day!

The days before the wedding were hectic trying to plan for the upcoming rainy weather, but Jeff and his team were there to help along the way and always responded to my emails (lots of them). He offered his advice and spent countless messages reassuring me that the weather would cooperate...which it did! On the wedding day, we were able to have the ceremony and reception of our dreams and Shockwave played a big part in this! Choosing Shockwave Entertainment (Jeff) was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. Jeff was professional, entertaining, involved, and incredibly fun. I knew after our first phone conversation that he was the DJ I wanted to hire simply because of his communication skills and willingness to thoroughly answer all of my questions. Jeff drove an hour and a half to meet with my family and go over details before the wedding for no extra cost. He was always proactive in planning and contacting me, and he constantly asked what we wanted while giving helpful suggestions/ideas that would help us create the wedding we envisioned. I really appreciated his online program where we selected songs and answered questions to give him an idea of what we wanted. At the reception, Jeff was amazing. He essentially made everything happen and run smoothly that night. He introduced the bridal party and announced everything as it happened so that guests were aware of what was going on. Additionally, his enthusiasm and initiative kept everyone engaged and excited. We told him the type of music we wanted, and each song fit perfectly! I have gotten so many comments on the exceptional job Jeff did, and my husband and I could not have chosen a better DJ! We highly recommend him for your big day.

Jeff was a blessing during our entire engagement/planning period. We were engaged for a little over and year and a half and Shockwave Entertainment was the first vendor we booked! We changed our date (alot) and jeff was so flexible and understanding. We had a blast and wouldn't have changed anything about our day! Our D.J. was Josh and Jerod and they were amazing! Through the heat and the gnats they stuck around! I even got a nice little dance with Josh before the night was over. Still, a month later, everyone remembers the run that was had at our reception and we honestly couldn't have done it without their amazing services.

Jeff and Shockwave Entertainment were absolutely wonderful. When another DJ fell through we were scrambling to find someone who could help us, and Jeff was top notch! He was so personable and really went the extra mile to get to know my fiancé and myself. He also gave great recommendations as to other vendors and always kept in touch right up until the day of the wedding. Although Jeff was not personally able to work our wedding, our DJ did an amazing job and was able to keep the party going and feel what the crowd was into music-wise. Our wedding was stressful with many last minute changes and adjustments, but Jeff was so calm, kind, and really made us feel like more than just clients providing a paycheck. We would recommend Shockwave Entertainment to anyone!

I highly recommend Shockwave Entertainment for your entertainment's needs. I spotted Shockwave at a Bridal Show and was impressed with their exceptional service from the very beginning. Our wedding needed to have a variety of song choices in a different language, and Jeff took the time to work with us through our special song lists. Josh, another DJ, is the star of the party, got EVERYBODY to dance and joined us on the dance floor like a family member, which added flavor to our special day. We had so much fun and couldn't ask for more than what was delivered from Shockwave Entertainment. We still have family members and guests talking about how much fun they had at our wedding reception! Thank you Shockwave Entertainment for making our wedding such a momentous event!

We are so glad we booked Jeff and Shockwave Entertainment for our April wedding. He was great to work with and offered several planning resources and tips that made our "destination" wedding easier to manage. He handled both ceremony and reception music and it was perfect. Josh was the freakin best! The uplighting was perfect, flawless night, flowed amazingly well - he knows how to get the crowd goin, he even did the worm! Our guests kept telling us how great he was. Highly recommend.

We made the right choice with Shockwave for our April 2017 wedding! We were a destination wedding of sorts so their planning tools really helped out during our process. They were always responsive, friendly, and helpful. The wedding itself was a blast-- everything came together flawlessly and my husband and I, as well as our guests, had a wonderful time! We used them for ceremony and reception and the transitions were seamless-- thank you Jeff and the Shockwave team!

I was very impressed with Jeff and his company from the moment we started correspondence up until after the wedding. To start he offered me a deal on his DJ package since it was the week of the statesboro wedding walk. He then was really helpful with the entire process. There is an online portal with a timeline that you fill out to your needs and you create a list of songs you love, like, and do not want played. This was so helpful in communicating my vision to Jeff. The week before the wedding Jeff called to talk through everything and provided honest but kind feedback to me which really helped my reception flow better. He really is knowledgeable in what he does! Jeff was booked for my date so Shannon was who my fiancé and I picked out. Shannon showed up multiple hours before the reception to set up and check in with me. Shannon was incredible. He was kind, flexible, fun, and had a great smile on his face the entire time. He suggested changes when he felt the mood of the reception shift which proved he really was knowledgeable and skilled in what he does. He didn't just make the changes though, he suggested them and made sure I was okay with them. He was also really flexible when I wanted a change made. His energy was magnetic and he kept the part going which was impressive because my reception was dry and started at 3 in the afternoon. Shannon congratulated me and my now husband multiple times and expressed his best wishes for us. I HIGHLY recommend Shannon and a Jeff for all your needs. They're helpful and genuinely cared about my wedding. It didn't feel like a business transaction, it felt like a friend helping me out at my wedding.

So much fun!! Josh was our DJ and Shane was his assistant. They did an awesome job and the remix to "Sweet child if mine" by Guns and Roses was so awesome!! Josh knew that I loved music so much and loved to dance he kept the music going and wanted to stay another hour but my venue wouldn't allow it because of noise ordinance but we still had a blast. Not to mention that Josh did the worm!! So much fun and would definitely recommend!

The best DJ company around. Most DJ's do things their way, but Shockwave did things exactly how we wanted them done! Before our receiption they offered multiple meetings and unlimited emails do be done to make sure we were very happy! Even with some changes a few days before the event they made it very easy and very stress free. I can't wait to use them again!

I couldn't have asked for a better DJ! They made things super easy from the start and are very helpful. Jeff is wonderful to work with and he and Jerod made the night unforgettable! Everyone had a wonderful time. If I had it to do over, I wouldn't change a thing!

Overall shockwave was the perfect experience for our wedding. He gave us exactly what we wanted from a playlist perspective and really got the crowd moving when we needed it! Even got on the dance floor to help start the conga line! Well done all around.

Shockwave was outstanding for our event. We hired them for a school dance and they were great at helping us put together an age/school appropriate song list. They arrived very early for the event for set up and played the full time of the dance. I would definitely use them again for this event and any other type of event I was hosting!
