As a birthday gift for me we had our family portraits taken by Shipra. She was so amazing to work with. She was fun, prompt, and unbelievable with our kids. She made us feel like every pose we did should be on the cover of a family magazine and she really took the time to make sure we were comfortable in front of the camera. The photos are amazing and I stare at them everyday remembering what fun we had.

Shipra is such a delightful person, and an incredibly creative photographer to boot! My husband and I chose her to document us for our 3rd wedding anniversary, and welcoming Shipra into our home felt more like welcoming a friend. Shipra made us feel at ease by giving us clear directions and by guiding the pace of the session, she was patient and relaxed as we wrangled our naughty kitten for a few shots, and she kept us laughing and smiling the whole time, never making us feel awkward or uncomfortable. I am so thankful for the beautiful photographs of me and my husband, but I'm also deeply thankful for Shipra's passion for creating authentic, meaningful, joyful photographs! I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer!

I have tried many times to put into words how amazing Shipra’s work is, but it is impossible because her photographs are truly better than words. It is obvious by looking at her portfolio that she is beyond talented with her camera but what you can’t see is how effortlessly she is able to capture each moment and emotion. Shipra’s personality brings out the inner supermodel in everyone, even the camera shy groomsmen. She is attentive to every last detail and is full of ideas for unique photographs. At the end of the day, I had no question in my mind that I would be pleased with how my day was captured. I was shocked to see pictures posted on the website she made just for us so quickly after the wedding. Shipra is not just another wedding vendor, she is a friend you will feel like you have known your whole life.

It was love a first email. I received an email from her soon after inquiring and felt immediately that she was the perfect fit for my husband and myself. It was the first time I looked through a portfolio and could picture my friends, my family me and my husband right in the midst of those moments she had captured.

The wedding day was seamless. She took on our crazy last minute schedule changes with a smile. Honestly, I don't even remember seeing her during the reception, but we have some outstanding photos from that time! She deserves a photo ninja award if you ask me. Most of all, they are images I'm thrilled to revisit time and time again. I still get tears when I look at them! Couldn't ask for anyone better!

MY FH and I were married in Jamaica. I began to look for photographers in FL considering we had not found one whose work we preferred in Jamaica. I came across Shipra's blog and realized that I was continuously scrolling on to earlier pages, asking my FH to do the same. We loved her work. Her use of natural lighting, her ability to catch those special unseen moments, and that she has used both film & digital were elements I loved. She also seemed well spirited, open minded and adventurous. Considering our location, we needed someone just so.
Shipra was the only photographer I had inquired with, and I kept my fingers crossed, hopeful she'd accept. To my excitement, she quickly responded and not only accepted, but seemed eager and rather excited at the potential. After a long telephone call, I felt at ease. While I would have gladly made travel arrangements for her and her second shooter Tiff (equally inspiring woman to have around) she'd be bringing along, Shipra offered to make all arrangements, being well versed in travel herself. A++++++ !!
Shipra and Tiff were very spunky, super high energy, and extremely creative in their ideas for shots. I regret not allowing enough time to get *all* the shots they wanted, but it's important to remind yourself you can't plan everything. The only suggestion I have to future brides having Shipra is she's full of ideas, originality and creativity so if she's giving you her time give her yours-- it's time well spent. They had many suggestions and input during the rehearsal that were extremely helpful and moved things along more quickly. My guests loved them & continued to comment on the energy they had and how amazing they were even after all the festivities, They truly were a pleasure to be around. S & T were very much apart of our weekend and the memories we took away from it all. I can only hope that they genuinely saw it as a worthwhile experience for themselves.
Whether abroad or local, I can't recommend her enough!

When I came across Shipra's work online, I knew that instant that I must have her as our wedding photographer. I fell in love with how natural her photos look, and the photojournalistic approach she does.

I actually never met Shipra before our wedding day, but she was such a pleasure to talk to via email and phone. She was super quick to respond to my emails, and was always very helpful with all the questions that I had.

The day of the wedding, she was absolutely amazing. She helped me create a timeline so we could capture all the photos my husband and I wanted, and she was great at sticking to it. Shipra and her assistant Whitney made all of us feel so comfortable, and were such pleasures to work with. Our wedding was originally planned to be outdoors, and a storm had rolled in the week of the wedding.. Shipra was amazing at making me feel better about not being able to have any outdoor photos, and really took advantage of all the beautiful spots she could find indoors. During the reception, she wasn't in the way at all, but I could totally see her buzzing around everyone dancing, I know she really captured the party!

We're still (mostly patiently :) waiting for our photos to be completed.. we've seen a few sneak peeks, and they are AMAZING. I seriously cannot wait until we get to see all the surprises in the final package. I keep begging my husband if we can hire Shipra for our 1 year anniversary to do outdoor photos since we didn't get to on our wedding day, I would love to work with her again!

A Master at Capturing the Magic

Shipra not only exudes a warmth and love you would hope for in a wedding vendor, she knows how to capture that warmth and love and happiness in her wedding photography. And she knows where and when to find the magic on your special day. I have recommended her to all of my engaged girlfriends, and I recommend her to everyone! She travels, and she really gets to know you as a couple and understand the details of your day. We wanted a photojournalistic capture of our special day, and she did an amazing job. Shipra is amazing! Her photos are lovely, full of life and beautiful details. Her warmth and energy are infectious. I definitely recommend getting an engagement session with her before the big day so you can all get really comfortable with each other and have fun. She really captured the way we felt about each other and went the extra mile in capturing something unique and personal. It took me a while to write this review because I wanted to make sure I gave it the time Shipra deserves. We could not be happier with having Shipra as our photographer for our wedding. I found out about her through the Martha Stewart Weddings website (which says enough in itself!). Her photos are beautiful and so natural looking. While looking at them they really make you feel like you're there in person. She captures the moments that matter, not just the typical wedding shots. We have photos of tears and laughs, hugs and kisses, grandparents with grandchildren and just so much love. She spent a lot of time with my husband and I. It was like spending time with a friend, which is exactly what she became. She knows what she is doing and we had complete trust in her. She is so creative and all of us really enjoyed her company as well as her portrait advice. Prior to the wedding I would email Shipra non stop. She always responded quickly and never made me feel like I was harassing her (which I was haha!). I would without a doubt recommend her to anyone and look forward to the next opportunity we have to use her again! We love our photos she created for us, and we love the memories she created with us. I can't begin to describe how pleased I am with the decision we made to have Shipra Panosian as our wedding photographer. She is simply the best! My fiancée (husband) is into photography and found her photos, equipment, and service exceptional and outstanding. We spent couple of months finding the perfect photographer. My husband was happy because she had the newest and best camera equipment and I was amazed by her creativity and ability to capture beauty. She is very professional, courteous, and provides the best service. We fell in love with her during our engagement session. She made us feel comfortable and confident during our photo shoot which reflected on our photos. It was no question that we use her for our wedding. She works with you to provide the service you want and goes the extra mile beyond that. She produces the best photos and the style we want. Our photos were even more amazing that we expected. If I can give one advice to couples looking for photographers it would be, "Please don't go cheap on your wedding photography." After all the people, food, and cake; in the end only your wedding photos are the only things that last. She is able to capture every aspect of your wedding day so you will be able to recollect the whole days events. Shipra's service is well worth double the price and she's nothing but professional. I don't have to say it again but she's really a one out of a million. Our engagement session and wedding were a blast. I wouldn't hesitant to work with her again. My only concern is I wish I called her earlier and did a couple more sessions. We couldn't be happier.

Shipra's work really spoke loudly to us when we were initially searching for a photographer with a unique stlye. When we met her, she was such a warm and passionate professional that it was going to be a mistake not to hire her for our big day. Sure enough, each step of our planning process was a joy to have her along. For brides, if you're looking for someone unique AND will share your joy of getting married, Shipra needs to be your photographer. She embodies someone who loves what she does and will put you and your special day in the most beautiful and artistic light possible.

My husband and I couldn't be happier with our choice for our wedding photographer.
Shipra Panosian is the best!! She provided us with absolutely beautiful photographs to remember our wedding.
Apart from having an amazing talent she is so friendly, energetic, approachable and makes you feel very conformable when she is working.
The photographs themselves are fantastic, everything looks very natural and she really captured the feelings and emotions of that day.

Shipra did an absolutely wonderful job shooting our entire wedding weekend (two outdoor ceremonies and two parties, plus getting ready) and we couldn't be more thrilled with the photographs we received. She is a total pleasure to work with - in many ways she felt more like a friend than a wedding vendor and she was loved by everyone. My husband and I had a relatively small (80), traditional Jewish wedding and finding a highly talented and reasonably priced photographer was extremely important to us. Living in the SF Bay Area it's almost impossible to find both and we were thrilled when we found Shipra's blog - we knew we had to bring her in from FL. Her images perfectly match the ethereal, natural quality we were looking for and we feel blessed to have beautiful photographs to remember our wedding by. Thanks, Shipra - we love you!

I found Shipra through an internet search for wedding photographers. I love photography and wanted a photographer to capture the little moments that make life memorable. When I happened upon her website, I knew she was the photographer I wanted to capture my wedding day moments.

Not only is she amazingly talented, she has this positive energy that surrounds her and you cant help but react to the energy. I was very calm and excited on my wedding day and I feel honored that Shipra was there to be apart of it.

She has an artistic photographic style- that again, captures breath-taking moments. When you look at the photography you feel a sense of happiness and joy.

I would highly recommend Shipra to anyone that needs a photographer, you will be very pleased working with her and her work. When the time comes, I will be contacting her in the future to capture baby and family pictures.

We couldn't be any happier with the photographs Shipra took of our wedding! Shipra was a pleasure to work with. Upon our first meeting, I was able to gather she's very professional about her work and is very thorough. She is very dependable and punctual when it comes to corresponding via email and phone and also helped me feel prepared for our wedding. Once the big day arrived, Shirpa and her crew made us feel at ease and we didn't feel as if we had to constantly take time away from our day to pose for photographs.

Today we received our cd containing all the photos from our wedding. I was immediately taken back to our wedding day looking through all of them again. I believe having a good photographer for your wedding is so important and worth every single penny because of the wonderful nostalgic feeling you get when you look at moments that are captured between your new spouse, family and friends. Shipra was able to capture so many moments of laughter, tears and there was so much raw emotion in our photos that really hit close.

My husband and I recommend Shipra 110%! You will not be let down. My family and friends (quite a few who are photographers) are so impressed and have commented on how beautiful our photographs are. Shipra and her team did a great job! I had a horrible experience with the photographer who photographed our engagement because he was just so rude to our guest. Shipra and her team were so nice and professional. Our photographs came out amazing! I wanted photo-journalistic photographs and we got just that and more!. She has a way of capturing emotions in all her pictures which is the one thing that differentiated her from the other photographers. You can't go wrong with Shipra!

Shipra provided a level of professionalism with personal service that made the experience stress free and absolutely delightful. Shipra went above and beyond the call of duty for our wedding. A terrible storm blew through on our wedding day and destroyed most of our outdoor wedding. It didn't phase Shipra a bit - she made everything work and still continued to shoot non-stop with out electricity. The pictures turned out more beautiful than we had ever hoped for. I'm amazed at how confident, collected and professional she was during this our crazy day. She really listened to what we wanted for our day and delivered it 100% to us. She was a complete joy to work with and we couldn't recommend her more highly!

Not only does Shipra take amazing pictures, she is also an amazing person to work with! We interviewed a lot of photographers for our wedding but after speaking with Shipra, we knew that we had found the one. She spent countless hours on the phone with us whenever we had any questions or concerns and was always quick to respond whenever we sent her an email. Our wedding ended up being much larger than we had originally anticipated and I was nervous since we didn't book a second photographer. I was absolutely amazed with how well she was able to capture the entire event by just herself and her assistant! She captured almost all 200+ guests that attended the wedding. I'm not a huge fan of the posed pictures and really wanted someone to capture the moments that take place when people don't know their being photographed and that's exactly what she did! I promise you will not be disappointed if you hire Shipra for your wedding!

Amazing, amazing!! Shipra is a bride's best friend, especially when the bride is camera-shy like I am. She is professional, but also very friendly and unobtrusive. We had a small beach wedding as the sun was setting. Even when the light was fading, she kept a very positive attitude and never once rushed us. Most photos were taken as we just went about enjoying our day. She helped everyone feel their best in front of the camera. She even helped me with my eye make-up at one point!

Within a few weeks, Shipra produced hundreds of gallery-worthy prints for a very reasonable price. My favorites are her candid shots; she captured the true feel of the day. Now that the wedding is over with, I get to relive the day through the emotions captured in her photos. They are so beautiful that they bring me to tears sometimes. Just take a look at her website and blog. That is just a sample of what she can do. My husband and I, our friends, and family couldn't have been happier about her work!

We live in Boston and decided to have a destination wedding in Florida. I travel for a living so it was very hard to schedule an appointment to meet with Shipra. I asked her if she was willing to do a Skype meeting, we were her first and I knew the minute we started talking that she was the one! Shipra is the kindest, warmest person and so easy to work with from start to finish.

When she emailed the sneak peek photos, I was in awe over her ability to capture our day so perfectly. I was dying to see the rest of them. Then Shipra sent us out slideshow and link to the remaining photos. The slideshow was breathtaking, and brought tears of joy to my eyes. Shipra's ability to capture the funny, touching, serene, and crazy moments is spot on. Her photos are your forever memories.

I still refer to Shipra as 'Our Wedding's Guardian Angel." She went above and beyond to make our wedding memorable. She helped us connect with excellent vendors, provided creative ideas for the decor, and was a source of support throughout the more stressful moments of the big day. Because Shipra is so intelligent, sensitive to others, articulate, passionate, creative, and full of positive energy, she quickly became much more than a photographer to us.

Using both film and digital, Shipra produced an array of photos, whose color harmonies, compositional balance, freshness of vision, and chimerical plays of light completely surpassed my expectations. And, as an art historian, I am by no means an easy critic to please. For instance, Shipra had the perspicacity of having us pose in front of a wall that, up to that point, I had hardly noticed. But this wall, although seemingly banal, was transformed into a striking background. In her photos, I could finally recognize the intricacy of the geometric design and the drama of the shadows, created by its unique pattern of bricks. It added so much beauty to our pics. I am, of course, in no way surprised that Shipra's gorgeous photos of our wedding will soon be featured in Green Wedding Shoes, my favorite wedding blog.

Aside from being an alchemist with film, Shipra was also a dream to pose for. I am very camera shy so her pointers throughout the bridal portraits and formal family shots were super appreciated. To be clear, she was in no way bossy or patronizing. She had a warm, maternal presence that made me feel comfortable, while giving me guidance. And it was actually super fun! Shipra was also an expert at capturing candid shots of the wedding's events. Like a ninja, she weaved in and out of whatever was happening, making sure not to interrupt the moment or to step on anyone’s toes (e.g. the videographers). Shipra was a team player, beloved by all, making it easy for me to trust her, let go, and enjoy the day.

My husband and I planned our wedding in 2 weeks and the best investment we made was to get a photographer like Shipra Panosian. Her work went beyond our expectations and every picture captured the love, laughter and affection we have for each other. Best of all we hardly knew she was clicking away and she caught it all with her magical talent. Every picture she took evokes an emotion and captivates the audience. Shipra is truly an angel! My original photographer canceled on me 2 days before my wedding due to medical issues. Without ever knowing Shipra, she came to my rescue and was willing to take over my contract from my original photographer. With only 2 days notice Shipra found a way to make my wedding day the best day of my life. Not only did she show up, but she also brought 2 additional photographers with her! She is fun, personable, and extremely professional. I cannot wait to see the photos from that day. I would highly recommend Shirpa Panosian to everyone!

My husband and I spent months looking for a photographer whose style appealed to us. We understood that when all is said and done, photos will be the one thing we can show our children and grandchildren someday. After much disappointment and frustration we stumbled upon Shipra.

We cannot say enough how overjoyed we are with our images. Shipra captured every emotion of our day in a beautifully timeless way that only she can. Shipra was AMAZING! She was extremely professional and helpful during the planning process. She was very prompt on the day of the wedding and she was great at making it fun to be photographed.
I searched high and low for a photographer as it was the one piece of my wedding I was extremely passionate about. I knew exactly what I wanted the pictures to look like but every photographer I looked at had things I liked and things I didn't. I thought for sure I would have to settle on something I wasn't 100% sure about until I saw Shipra's work... She was EXACTLY what I wanted!
Our wedding pictures came back a lot quicker than I expected and they were PERFECT! She was able to capture moments between my new husband and I that we will be able to remember for a lifetime just by looking at the picture! No lie we had at least 50 people see our wedding pictures and say "I wish I could get married all over again". Shipra is VERY talented and one of the sweetest people I have ever met! Shipra was perfection! From first looking at her webpage and speaking with her on the phone, I could tell her style was a perfect match with what I was looking for on my wedding day. She seemed to be different from most other photographers out there, creating a much more natural look than other wedding photographers I came across. The pictures were as wonderful as I could have hoped for, but one of the things I most appreciated about Shipra was how helpful she was with so many aspects of the overall wedding planning. The location of our ceremony was found because of her suggestion, and several wonderful ideas for the reception were hers as well. Even before I was engaged I knew that someday I would choose Shipra as my wedding photographer after being in a wedding several years ago that she photographed. Shipra has an artistic eye and is incredibly talented at capturing candid moments, which was exactly what we wanted in our wedding photos! She is extremely organized and even helped us plan the order of our day and how things were going to go, and her calm spirit made the day so smooth. Her work is absolutely STUNNING and I couldn't be happier with our photos.

Not only is Shipra really good at her photography, but she is truly one of the most genuinely sweet and caring people I have ever met. I highly recommend her!

Shipra gave my family such a gift. An heirloom of memories, something we will always treasure.

From the moment I first contacted Shirpa, she made me feel welcome and like a VIP client. Walking through the process allowed me to express our family identity. That was such a special realization process, considering the elements that make my family unique.

Shipra took time to talk about her art and how her style would capture my family. This gave me a great vision for the outcome.

At the session, Shipra took the time to talk with my little ones. She even brought them a book! She took the time to connect with them and put them at ease. By the end of our time together she even had my baby girl in her arms drinking a bottle from her hands. Shipra won our hearts!

With having such little ones I was concerned about what she would be able to capture. They squirm and you have to really fight for their attention. The end results blew us away. Not only did Shipra capture joy and laughter, she also captured our quirks and silliness. Tears fill my eyes as I see my family, not the way I see with my eyes, but the way I see them with my heart.

Shipra, thank you for allowing us to be one of your clients. Thank you for entering our home as a new person and leaving as a friend.

Shipra was the photographer for a friend's wedding, and we loved the photos so much that we hired Shipra to be our wedding photographer. The whole process was very smooth, Shipra's cost included her travel fee for 2 photographers, and we had photos for our rehearsal dinner, getting ready, wedding, reception, and a photo booth. We now have nearly 10GB of photos! and not enough time to go through them! The quality of the photos are excellent, plenty of candid shots of guests. I have recommended Shipra to 2 other friends for wedding photographer since.

We loved Shipra so much! She is an amazing artist, and our photos are a dream come true. She was so much fun and enjoyed trying new things with us (like a stop-motion video!). She was also incredibly professional and efficient--we had lots of fun, but it was also clear that she was focused on making our photos beautiful. She was great at directing us so that we looked good in pictures, and she also did an amazing job directing our friends and family at the wedding. We felt like she was a part of our wedding party, not a vendor! She is also very responsive to emails/calls. We hope to use her again for future photos some day!!

Shipra was an absolute joy to work with! Not only is she one of the most truly genuine and sweet women on the planet, she does an amazing job of keeping both my husband and I smiling. She flew out to Colorado DURING the Thanksgiving holiday to shoot our intimate wedding in the mountains and was so incredibly flexible with planning and timing. She was available to shoot from the marriage license right on through "I Do" which happened over the course of three days. Our final product was even better than any of the ALREADY gorgeous photos we had seen on various forms of social media, her blog, and website. She managed to make a 30 mph, 40 degree day feel like a much warmer, cozier place. :) We love our pictures -- from the intimate details of the place we stayed to the candid smiles of our guests...not to mention we both felt pretty special that day because of her. Highly recommend!

Shipra was a joy to work with! My husband and I knew right away after seeing her photos that we wanted her to document our day, and after meeting her we knew we had made the right choice. Shipra and her team were amazing. My photos are beautiful and she made us feel so comfortable and natural when taking them (not an easy feat with a husband who really does not like taking photos). I have been following Shipra for quite some time due to my love of her photography style. Needless to say when it came time for me to get married, I had to have her! I couldn't have been more happy with how the photos turned out. Aside from her ability to capture such raw beautiful moments, she was the most fun person to work with. I remember getting ready in my hotel room as she shot portraits, Shipra had such a way of making me smile and well, the photos spoke for themselves.

Shipra was really awesome. We chose her as our wedding photographer in large part because we loved the "artsy" feel of pictures we saw she'd done for previous events, and our wedding photos did not disappoint! Working with Shipra was everything I had hoped for and more. From our very first Skype session her happiness and professionalism radiates and it is the perfect energy to have with you on such an important day. She had a wide arrangement of packages to suit ones needs and happily custom made one which worked more with us being out of the country clients. She manages to be ever present and positive but at the same time can blend in as you forget she is there which allows her to capture some of the most special moments. I spent a lot of time doing research when I was looking for photographers. My first conversation with Shipra lasted for a while, we connected so well, and her personality was a plus. After that one conversation, I was sold. During the whole wedding planning process, she was also very patient when we had any questions or concerns. During the whole wedding weekend, she made us feel comfortable. She was constantly smiling, which kept us smiling and laughing. The pictures we received were amazing!!! We have received so many compliments, the pictures look like they came out of a bridal magazine. Shipra is incredible, and her work shows she is a true artist. Shipra is not only an amazing photographer but she is just an amazing person all around. She is super down to earth! I cannot imagine working with any other photographer. She made me feel so calm before the wedding day and on the big day as well during a bit of a stressful time. She was also super organized from the moment that I contacted her. I cannot say enough good things about our wedding pictures! Shipra was available to answer any concerns throughout the preparation which was a big deal for us as our wedding was in Japan. As I was getting ready for the big day, I was so relieved to have her there to calm me down and take charge of taking formals in a timely manner. Shipra has an ability to take pictures that speaks to each person’s character even though she has never seen nor spoke to them. It is just amazing what she can convey through her work. My friend that could not make it to our wedding looked at Shipra’s pictures and commented, ”it was as if I was there!” Shipra can tell stories through her pictures!

We chose Shipra to photograph our maternity pictures. Instead of just pictures, we received images that captured one of the most joyous times in our lives. Every time my husband and I look at the images Shipra photographed of us a couple in love, eagerly anticipating the arrival of our little man. More than that, we see us. She was able to get to the heart of who we are as a couple and what we mean to each other. Shipra did such an amazing job and I can't thank her enough for capturing these memories. We keep looking at the set of images she photographed and keep finding things we love. My heart is so full. I feel pretty and joyful and so so happy.

Shipra is incredibly talented. Not only was she an absolute joy to work with regarding helping encourage whatever ideas we had for our wedding photography, but she has this incredible artistic way with different types of film and using natural landscapes and lighting to their fullest potential. We absolutely fell in love with her photography when we first saw it and were nervous that she wouldn't be available for our wedding date which was about 6 months away, but we happened to luck into one free weekend she had during our wedding month. The portfolio she created for us really impressed our friends and family and made us feel like we were looking at a magazine spread - the raw, honest moments she caught without interfering with the moments themselves really captured the feelings of the day. Firstly, Shipra was awesome! Easily one of the best vendors at our wedding. We're very sure that she gets this compliment a lot. She is very easy to work with, and on top of everything. She will also give very helpful suggestions without being too pushy.

We will admit that we were somewhat wary initially, considering we picked her solely based on her work, and not on reviews (she had very few reviews at the time). She was also somewhat over our initial budget with regards to photography. Thankfully, she was able to work with us on that issue. She was so great, even though she had to travel from out of town to South Florida. After seeing the pictures, she is definitely worth more than the price that she asks for.

Also, even though we really enjoyed the work on her website, she had the courtesy to provide us with access to more of her work to look through before settling on her. We have absolutely no regrets. She was very accommodating in everything that we asked for. We also used her for our photo booth and we have to say that ours were one of the best photo booth pictures that we have ever seen.

Her work is perfection, right down to the packaging of our photos. Her personality is so easy to get along with that I'm sure anybody would love her. We would recommend her over and over to anybody and everybody. You don't have to worry about anything once you've booked Shipra as your photographer.

The first time I saw my wedding pictures, I was in my office at work absolutely non-stop crying! Words cannot convey the value these images have to me! They are so priceless and so rich!! Shipra is absolutely outstanding! She is very professional and has the most contagious energy. Shipra took the time to get to know my husband and I which helped us both feel so comfortable in front of the camera. We actually forgot she was there after a few minutes, even though she was climbing on my bathroom counter and crawling on the floor to capture the most amazing shots and interesting angles. Haha!
I am always known as someone with ridiculously high expectations and this is one of the few times in my life where my expectations were exceeded. I did significant research on our wedding photographer and I don't believe anyone can capture emotions the way Shipra can. After looking at several different albums you will notice every wedding has a different feel and Shipra did an amazing job depicting us! We absolutely love her!

Shipra is awesome! I am a wedding photographer myself so I know the value in not only finding a photographer whose work you love but finding a photographer who is easy and fun to be around and Shipra is that person. She went above and beyond to make our big day easy, stress free, and memorable. She is a blast to be around and made us feel completely comfortable in front of her lens. We just received our pictures a few nights ago and could not believe how beautiful everything was. She captured everything so perfectly and we will be forever grateful for her. Thank you so much Shipra!!

As spectacular and tantalizing as Shipra's photographs are, all it took for us to know that she was our photographer was getting a chance to meet her in person and sitting down to discuss our love story from beginning to the present. It seemed as though we both approached the meeting a little timidly at first, perhaps Shipra was attempting to feel us out to see which direction she could take us. But after a few sips of coffee and a conversation to break the ice, we filled the next four hours exchanging tons of ideas and possibilities for photographing our engagement and eventually our wedding.

Shipra's photography skills are in a league of their own. To put it simply, she is good at what she does. She's not extremely edgy, but she never takes a dull photograph. She takes the photograph you're going want to see 10, 20, 50 years from now. She has an eye for timeless moments and knows when to be in the right spot at the right time.

During our engagement session, we walked over to Starbucks. We had already been shooting for quite some time outdoors, had a wardrobe change and took a ton of shots walking around the mall. We took a break at Starbucks and while we were waiting on our coffee, Shipra stood outside and took some of the most impressive shots of the entire shoot. We hardly knew she was present, but she took full advantage of the wait for our coffee. We are so proud of all of our photographs, including the wedding.

Shipra's personality is one that anyone with a sense of humor and a warm heart can enjoy. She's extremely friendly, very personable and fun loving. She has an infinite bank of ideas and is always willing to try something different. Be very vocal with her, let her pick your brain and together you'll come up with extraordinary ideas that will make your wedding worth every penny. She made us feel like we were her only client and that's something we cherished.

She's an absolute must have photographer for any couple!

When I first stumbled upon Shipra Panosian's website, I instantly fell in love with her style. Her images told stories. They were so personal, and they completely captured the emotions that the wedding party and guests were feeling. I knew right away that she was my first choice.
Shipra was responsive and timely. She got back to me right away, and she was immediately transparent about her rates and process. Shipra's openess and friendliness made her so accessible. It helped me to trust her completely, and I felt great when I signed the contract. Throughout the planning process, she was flexible and willing to work with not only me, but also the coordinator I hired and my sometimes overwhelming and meddling family members.
On our wedding day, she was the definition of professional. She arrived early, and she was immediately attentive. During the day, I never even had to think about photography because Shipra was always there, taking beautiful shots of our family and friends and planning the next stage with my coordinator. Shipra handled every request with aplomb.
What I probably enjoyed the most about working with Shipra is that she seemed so happy to be with us. She has such a passion for her work that makes her a delight to be around. When my bridesmaids wanted to create special pictures with sparklers, Shipra was there with a smile on her face. She was full of creative ideas, and she made getting our photos taken feel natural and uninhibiting.
As a bride, you want to feel beautiful on your wedding day, and in each picture I just feel so pretty! The images completely captured the feel of the day. She made a simple backyard barbecue wedding look so fantastic and so true to how we felt. I would love to work with her again, and I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Shipra Panosian is an amazing photographer! She shot our wedding at the Maitland Art Center in FL and the pictures turned out amazing! It was raining and the wedding was outdoors but Shipra made me feel confident and have a go with the flow attitude, don't sweat the small stuff..aka the rain :) I felt like she was an old friend, she gives off a very relaxing vibe. She really understood the vision we had for our wedding and captured it beautifully! We couldn't have been happier with the way our amazing day turned out! Thanks so much Shipra!

I still refer to Shipra as 'Our Wedding's Guardian Angel." She went above and beyond to make our wedding memorable. She helped us connect with excellent vendors, provided creative ideas for the decor, and was a source of support throughout the more stressful moments of the big day. Because Shipra is so intelligent, sensitive to others, articulate, passionate, creative, and full of positive energy, she quickly became much more than a photographer to us.

Using both film and digital, Shipra produced an array of photos, whose color harmonies, compositional balance, freshness of vision, and chimerical plays of light completely surpassed my expectations. And, as an art historian, I am by no means an easy critic to please. For instance, Shipra had the perspicacity of having us pose in front of a wall that, up to that point, I had hardly noticed. But this wall, although seemingly banal, was transformed into a striking background. In her photos, I could finally recognize the intricacy of the geometric design and the drama of the shadows, created by its unique pattern of bricks. It added so much beauty to our pics. I am, of course, in no way surprised that Shipra's gorgeous photos of our wedding will soon be featured in Green Wedding Shoes, my favorite wedding blog.

Aside from being an alchemist with film, Shipra was also a dream to pose for. I am very camera shy so her pointers throughout the bridal portraits and formal family shots were super appreciated. To be clear, she was in no way bossy or patronizing. She had a warm, maternal presence that made me feel comfortable, while giving me guidance. And it was actually super fun! Shipra was also an expert at capturing candid shots of the wedding's events. Like a ninja, she weaved in and out of whatever was happening, making sure not to interrupt the moment or to step on anyone’s toes (e.g. the videographers). Shipra was a team player, beloved by all, making it easy for me to trust her, let go, and enjoy the day.

Having Shipra be our photographer for the wedding was an absolute blessing. Shipra is such a generous person with her talent and skill. My husband and I instantly connected with her- she has such a warm, genuine personality.

I had multiple guests after the wedding tell me how impressed they were at how dedicated Shipra was for capturing the true essence of the wedding. As one of my family members put it, "She doesn't just click a button and call for the next group to be photographed." My sister refers to her as the Ninja Photographer. She captures these moments you didn't even realize were up for being photographed.

My husband- who is more of the artsy, creative type- was beyond pleased with her lighting choices and compositional framing style. For myself, I was so happy with how on the day of the event, Shipra knew what had to be done- she was reassuring and like a rock!

We love Shipra and we love how she's become more than a photographer, but a good friend.

We chose Shipra Panosian Photography after reviewing all of the pictures on her site. I recommend this for anyone thinking of using her. The pictures are gorgeous and speak for themselves. Each set is different and unique, full of color, fun, and love. From lighting to the sincere expressions, Shipra captures priceless emotions and heartfelt sentiments.

Most importantly, we wanted pictures that screamed "us," natural and fun. There are so many photographers who create gorgeous scenes by over altering every picture; those are great too but that is just not what we wanted. Shipra talked to us about who we were, read our blogs, did her research, and took the type of pictures we really wanted. Even better, she supplied us with both digital and film pictures. In CT, film is much more hard to come by.

Lastly, Shipra is a professional and a wonderful person to work with. We had so much fun. We received our pictures in a timely fashion, were not charged with hidden fees, and were so happy with the quality and quantity of our pictures. Whenever we had a question or request (a surprise Birthday slideshow), she responded within a day and met our needs without question or problem.

I literally screamed when we got our final images because they came out better than I could have ever imagined. We can't stop looking at them and sending them to our friends and family.

I would highly recommend Shipra Panosian Photography and will use her again for Anniversary pictures.

I couldn't have asked for a better photographer than Shipra on my wedding day. I wanted an editorial take on my wedding photos and became interested in Shipra after reviewing her past work on a wedding blog. Shipra was such a pleasure to work with from beginning to current day as we are figuring out our album. The pictures best showcase her work, but Shipra is an ultra professional - she is responsive, friendly, and puts in the extra effort to make sure your day is what you imagined it would be. She even travelled to NYC for our engagement shoot and spent an entire day with us capturing some fun and artistic moments. And the pictures are amazing, as Shipra had a unique way of capturing the emotions of the day that keep me looking back at the photos to relive the memory.

Working with Shipra was such a wonderful experience for us. People kept saying to me 'ooooh it's going to be so hard for you to pick a photographer'. I guess they thought that I would be difficult to please because I, myself, am a photographer? Or maybe that it would be difficult to settle on one long distance. But to tell you the truth it was the easiest decision for our day - Not only did we know just from seeing the work on her website (the warmth and timelessness of her photos) but after the first couple of emails, her sweetness and friendliness made it obvious. She was so excited for us and our wedding that she made us feel like we were the only people in the world to ever get married!
She is completely professional, but it's business wrapped in sunshine

We hired Shipra before we were able to meet in person. The quality of her work mixed and her attitude was exactly what we wanted for our wedding day. She is creative and has a beautiful point of view, and works to make sure you get everything you asked for (including grabbing the the bride, myself, for a few more photos after I was too eager to go to cocktail hour! She didnt want me to regret not having more options, THANKFULLY she did this!!)

After searching for a few months for photographers and getting standard responses, the personal notes she put in correspondance was so refreshing, and made me comfortable and excited to work with her. She jumped right in on the wedding day, and made every minute count. If the teaser photos we've received are an example of the rest to come, we are EXTREMELY happy with how everything has come out!

We highly recommend Shipra for your wedding!

Shipra is not only a phenomenal photographer, she also has the sweetest heart and actually cares about her clients! I give her the highest recommendation possible. When my husband and I were researching photographers for our wedding, I knew I had to take my time and find the perfect fit. After all, photos and video are all you really take away from such a huge day. I knew the second I saw Shipra's work that the search was over. Aside from being a true professional, she is an absolute joy to work with. Our pictures were delivered to us and exceeded our expectations. Photography was really important to my husband and I because we knew that it was the only thing from the wedding we'd really have to look back on outside our own memories. From the very first conversation I had with Shipra, I was hooked. We clicked immediately, and from there on out she was very thorough and responsive. She patiently answered all my annoying questions and it was clear that she really cared about what we wanted. Her aesthetic and values as far as the photography went totally matched ours, and she was incredibly professional from the start. She is definitely on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for and in my opinion, it was totally worth it. Everyone that has seen our photos has commented on how good our photographer was - it really shows in the photos that she cares about her work. We ended up using her for a few of our events; I wish we could have used her for more, but it would have been out of our budget. I'm really happy with everything; my only regret was not extending her services for a few more hours at the reception to capture the dancing. Also kind of wish we'd gone with the photo booth option - would have been fun.
