Stunning wedding invitation suite and church programs from Jolene Backus & Shine!
I am so grateful to Jolene Backus for all the time she devoted to the design of my invitation suite and church programs! I don’t know what I would have done without her expert advice and patience throughout the process. I had no idea where to begin and she helped me every step of the way, responding completely and in a timely manner to my many, many questions and providing unparalleled customer service that continued after the order was placed and received. I really trusted her advice and appreciated all her great design ideas! Jolene is a gifted designer— creative with meticulous attention to detail. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Jolene and I was thrilled with the final products!
Shine invitation suites and programs are second to none—their quality is amazing and everything arrived earlier than expected. I have received countless compliments on my gorgeous invitation suite and programs. We chose a letterpress invitation with a vellum jacket, wax seal, belly band, multiple enclosure cards, and double envelopes with a liner. For the program, we chose the deluxe booklet.
I highly recommend Jolene Backus and Shine for beautiful invitations and wedding day stationery! You will not be disappointed!

Beautiful Minimalist Wedding Invitations

Elegant and Timeless Wedding Invitations
Our invitation suite from Shine came out just beautifully! We had a difficult time finding invitations that were classic and timeless until we found Shine! Our client designer Kaleigh was so great to work with and ensured that our invitation details and design were personalized according to our vision. We received so many compliments on our invitation suite from our guests. The beautiful invitation layouts and designs as well as their superior customer service are unmatched! I highly recommend Shine.

Highest recommendation for Shine!
I was so attracted to the option of designing a beautiful wedding invitation suite online and hoped that the quality would be on par with in-person stores. I chose the Emma Vellum Wedding Invitations with floral envelope liners and wax seals. I was absolutely blown away by how elegant and classic these invitations turned out! The price is extremely fair and the process of designing the invitations virtually with one of the members of the Shine team was extremely easy. We even ended up reaching back out to our designer at Shine to have her create matching menus and inserts to put into our guests’ hotel welcome bags. I would 100% make the decision to have Shine do our wedding stationery over and over again!

Amazing quality. A little expensive, but worth the price for how they look. Great support team to work with too, as they send you drafts of everything prior to printing it.
I ordered my invitations (I loved the ribbon and bow look), along with table numbers and matching menus through them. Beautiful job.

Great quality for the price!
We got so many compliments on our wedding invitation suite :) The classic double envelope was hard to find I am so glad that it was something Shine offered! The bellybands and envelope liners added such a pretty touch to the classic suite. We got custom wax seals to make it a little more personal but everything from Shine was wonderful!

Most beautiful wedding stationary available
Our wedding was at the Ritz in Sarasota and Shine was the best. The timing, elegance, helpfulness in resolving an issue we had made with the menus, turnaround time remarkable. Highly recommend them, the cost was a lil higher than most but the quality, customer service and personalization was so worth the xtra dollars.

Simple, elegant, and easy to work with
We spent ages looking for a classic, simple wedding invitation design that wouldn’t cost a fortune and wouldn’t take months to print. We are SO glad we found Shine. Our invitations were exactly what we wanted. Their service is incredible-- so responsive to every question. We got so many compliments from guests about our invitations.
Our only note would be: don’t underestimate how long it will take to assemble the invitations once they arrive! Inserting the liners and assembling all the pieces was not an insignificant task. But that isn’t Shine’s problem -- we were just clueless :)

Working with Sara Jaworowicz from Shine made our invite process so quick and easy. She was patient and extremely organized. Despite delays and shortages due to the pandemic, shine was able to work with us to find the perfect invite suite and additional paper goods that we used for the wedding. If you are looking for an invitation suite that is formal, traditional, elegant, of the highest quality and with outstanding service look no further! The ordering process was so easy. We did not have to deal with using complicated templates. We completed the boxes with what we wanted our cards to say and our designer Stephanie designed them to perfection! We chose letterpress invites and they turned out beautifully. We could not have asked for better. I was so impressed with my Shine wedding invitations!We got the vellum jackets, belly bands, and wax seals and I was so impressed with how great it looked and how easy it was to put together. They emailed the proofs of my design to me very quickly and responded within the day when I had questions or changes that I wanted to make. After we received our invites, we had to change venues due to covid and the customer service was amazing. They have a system in place that allowed us to only have to reorder the part we needed to change and at a lower price because it was due to covid. It was all so nice and easy we ended up ordering our welcome sign and seating chart from them too. Highly recommend!

I always said one of the biggest things on my list for my wedding was beautiful invitations. They are the entryway for your guests into your wedding experience. Shine Wedding Invitations is everything I dreamed. The process of choosing a design, ordering them with my info on them, and receiving the beautiful final product was so simple. It is a bit pricey but so worth it! They were honestly the most beautiful invitations I had ever seen!

We used Shine for our wedding invitations, and it was the best decision. We worked with Sarah and she was fabulous. Shine is simply THE BEST company for wedding invitations and stationery, not only for their beautiful designs but also for their exemplary customer service! I worked with Jolene on my invitation suite and I cannot stress enough how helpful and accommodating she was throughout the whole process. I was so excited to receive my invitations when in a bizarre turn of events, I found the package on my front steps torn apart and everything inside had been stolen (who steals wedding invitations??). I reached out to Jolene and explained what happened and she immediately put in a new order to be rush printed completely free of charge! I will forever be thankful to Jolene for turning what could have been a total disaster into no issue at all! I'm looking forward to ordering my coordinating day-of materials in a couple months. Amazing Experience using Shine
Shine was amazing from start to finish. Their invitations are beautiful and their customer service was second to none. We ended up using them not just for invitations, but ceremony programs as well. You will not be disappointed with the high quality. Are they on the expensive side? Yes, admittedly they are. However, I would make the decision to use them again and again. They really stress the importance of proofing (of course)...however, when I missed an important error on our ceremony programs, they were able to quickly make the change and get me what I needed in time. Thank you for an amazing experience overall!

I am a bit old school and I must admit I was a bit nervous to do all my proofs online. BUT…
Stephanie, was my knight in “Shine”ing armor.
Her response time was very prompt, I felt like I was the most important person to her. I felt a true sense of confidence, when working with her.
I asked a dozen or so questions before we began working together. Every step of the way she was professional and very explicate in her explanations. I had questions that was very important to me like, traditional wording to something as simple as, can this fit on one line. All my questions were answered with the urgency I hoped for.
My experience with Shine was First Rate. My invitations arrived and again, I was wowed!!
It met and surpassed my expectations for sure.
I would HIGHLY recommend Shine for all your invitation needs.

I waited to the last minute to order my wedding invitations and was freaking out. By the grace of God I stumbled upon Shine’s website- and I’m so grateful I did! Their invitations are so elegant, classic, and so so beautiful! Not like all these cheaply made invites others websites do. These are definitely worth the money! I added the wax seal and vellum jackets to my invites and I am blown away at how beautiful the set looks! They have expedited shipping which I chose and got my invites in one week! Most of the wedding invitations I looked at were super cheesy to me - I really wanted something classic. I found it at Shine!!
I loved all the little touches I was able to add, and they didn’t go unnoticed! The day after the invitations were mailed my mom, my fiancé and I all received calls and texts about how beautiful they were.
The editing process was easy and Jolene helped me every step of the way. She was always prompt with her answers and was super thorough in her explanation. I highly recommend Shine!!

My Dream Invitations!
In my opinion the invitation sets the tone of the entire wedding! Our wedding was very elegant and romantic, so of course I wanted our invitations to be elegant and classic.
On my first experience with the Shine consultant, all my questions were answered and all options were discussed.
When our invites arrived in the mail, they were exactly what we had designed. Assembly was required but was very simple and came with directions for proper assembly.

My experience with Shine was nothing short of perfect. Shine designs were exactly what we were looking for. All of their designs are clean, classic, and elegant. My fiance and I used Shine for our save the dates as well as wedding invitations, and chose the 'Mid-Century Romance' design because we liked the vintage style font.
One of the best parts about Shine is that you not only get the convenience of working on your wedding stationary from home (rather than having to make an appointment and go to meet with a designer), but you also get an extremely personal experience. Our designer Stephanie Saucier was incredible!! She had our invitation proofs sent to us the very next day after placing our order. She displayed true professionalism and passion for what she did. Although our original proofs were beautiful, we had a few small changes we needed to make (time of reception, add middle name type stuff)...Stephanie had updated proofs back to us in--no exaggeration--less than an hour. Her efficiency and personalized service was phenomenal. We received our invitations a week earlier than estimated! They were high quality, in perfect condition, and BEAUTIFUL! Thank you again Stephanie, you are so talented and sweet! You truly made our wedding day special. I would recommend Shine to any couple getting married!!

Best Way to Go for Invitations
Shine made the invitation process extremely easy and stress free. They have a ton of templates to choose from that will cater to your personal style and you can even personalize their templates if need be. I worked with Nicole, who was great and always got back to me when I needed her. Shine will assign you a person who is in charge of helping you design your invitations (or other wedding day materials you may need) and they really take charge of the process so you can just sit back and approve of the templates. They ship and arrive very quickly which makes it even more stress free. Shine is the best way to go and I would recommend to anyone!

Shine is the BEST!
Picking wedding invitations can be a daunting task but Shine made the whole process so easy. We initially just ordered invitations form them, but ended up getting programs, menus and escort cards as well!
Their designs are STUNNING and the ordering/proofing process is even better. You have individualized, one-on-one attention with a designer to tweak your design(s) until they're perfect to your liking. Other sites may just allow one revision/day. But with Shine, since you're working with an actual person via email, you can sometimes do multiple revisions in one day to make sure the product gets printed/shipped on time.
I cannot recommend Shine enough!!

I could not recommend Shine enough!! When I began looking for wedding invitations, I knew I wanted something classic and timeless. So many websites have elaborate designs that felt too over the top for me. I came across Shine's website and their overall style fit my vision to a T. I immediately fell in love with them and ordered a free sample. I was impressed with everything they included in the sample because you could tell they really wanted you to get a feel for all of your options. I placed my invitation order at 2pm on a Thursday and heard from Stephanie, my designer, only 3 short hours later! As a bride, it's so important to have vendors that have a sense of urgency and show that they care as much about your wedding as you do. I really felt like Stephanie cared about my thoughts on the invitations and she gladly made any adjustments that I requested. Her response time was amazing, and I never felt like I was waiting around for answers or new versions of my proofs. My invitations were perfected within a week, and I approved the order to go to print. They arrived well-packaged with everything shrink-wrapped and packed with bubble wrap, so it was nice knowing they were well-protected during shipping. I'm extremely happy with how they turned out and cannot wait to get them in the mail! The paper is great quality, even the most basic paper still has a nice stiffness and weight to it. I plan on using Shine for my day of paper needs such as programs.

I found Shine on Pinterest. Their designs are elegant and modern, which was exactly what my husband and I wanted. As far as price they are pretty on par for wedding invitations. I would just suggest thinking about what is most important, as you can make it as expensive as you design. For example I chose belly bands rather than a fancy pressed seal. Again, it is all what you choose. I would recommend them if you're looking for great quality, professionalism, and timeliness.

My invites and save the dates look amazing!!! Plus when we got our invites in we were short from the quantity we ordered. I contacted them and they immediately offered a solution (refund or reprint the extra). I opted for them to reprint the extra and they came in less than a week. If you want clean, elegant invitations with excellent customer service this is your place. I can't wait to order our table numbers and escort cards from Shine!
Plus they include a few extras of each item to begin with in case you mess up, and they also send you a sealed version of your invite to save for the photographer or your keep sake.

I was on the hunt for simple wedding invites.
There are so many “themed” invites out there. It was so hard to sort thru all of the different loud prints and gold foil on other sites. If you are looking for simple but not plain invites look no further.
They are totally customizable and you get three proofs included with your order to make sure everything is just as you want. Everyone that I worked woth was great. Brittany was the one who created my invites and she was very understanding of my vision. On their site they have a chat section you can ask anything you want and they are very responsive and are quick to let you know that there is no silly question. And believe me, you have SO many when you’re creating your invites.
I recommend Shine Wedding Invitations to everyone. I am currently working woth Britt on custom signs for my wedding as well as all of the day of accessories to match my invites!

So I usually never write reviews of any type, but I had to give a special shoutout to Jolene from Shine Wedding Invitations because she is actually that AMAZING. Jolene has been my kind, patient, saving grace graphic designer angel this entire past week as I've been your typical overwhelmed bride-to-be. Wedding invitations are so important since they give couples a chance to make that lasting first impression on guests and to convey the overall feel of your wedding for the first time. In the early stages of planning I always thought I'd go with Shine since their invitation designs were the most classic, elegant and minimal I'd seen. What I didn't know (until I finally did purchase my invitations) was how lucky I would become to work with Jolene! As a designer, she knows exactly the style and level of formality I'm going for in my wedding invitations, and her turnaround time for a new round of proofs is always super quick too. Jolene is artistically inclined with a sharp eye, has great advice and suggestions, understands just how important it is to make even the most minor of changes (ie; when the font size goes from 6pt to 6.5pt, or when one capital letter has one less swirl than the others) and how those tiny details can alter the entire look of your whole suite. Most of all, Jolene is so kind, patient and understanding - she is always accommodating to all my new requests & tiny edits, and always so nice in all her communications (despite 10 million new emails from a micromanaging and very, very detail-oriented/nit-picky future bride like myself!). To brides and future brides - skip Minted, and skip everything else - order all your wedding stationery from Shine and ask for Jolene if you can! :)

I ordered my suite and in less than an hour I received an email from my own personal design consultant! Jolene was extremely helpful with making sure I loved every detail about my suite. She was able to perfect my suite in one of my two rounds of complimentary revisions.
We are having a destination wedding and Jolene helped me create my dream invitations! The whole process was exciting, personal and efficient! Thank you so much!

I quickly came to find that finding the perfect wedding invitation was not an easy task. After researching longer than I'd like to admit, I stumbled across Shine Wedding Invitations on Pinterest. The simplicity of their designs were exactly what I was looking for as I wanted a timeless look. The service was better than I could have expected and turned what was a stressful task into an enjoyable one - I was finally excited about invitations again, rather than discouraged. We worked with Ashlea who was incredibly responsive, consultative, and beyond pleasant to work with. So much so, we ended up going back to order our thank you cards and wedding menus through Shine! I highly recommend Shine for the quality of invitations and the level of service that is unmatched in the wedding industry.

I am so pleased with the invitations from Shine. They are absolutely beautiful! I was also very impressed with the meticulous packaging and the extra special attention to detail with regards to the sample that was already assembled to show what the invitation is supposed to look like. I am so happy I chose Shine for my invitations!

SO WORTH THE MONEY! Our wedding invitation suite looked absolutely gorgeous. Their shimmer paper and the belly band tied everything all together. Out guests still are in awe about how classy and elegant they were. Shine was so easy to work with and they were super quick on the proof and printing.

Planning a wedding is very stressful, and Shine took the stress right out of ordering invitations! It's so easy to get exactly what you want! You get your own personal designer to talk to and email back and forth with, and I will say Ali Sable was so sweet and helped me beyond what I could have imagined! I will recommend Shine to every bride I know.

We loved everything about our invites! They arrived SO fast and everything was exactly what we wanted. The only thing we were worried about was that the quality wasn't going to be as good as it sounded since the price was not that high but once we received them, they were exactly what we were expecting! The quality was great and everyone complimented us on what everything looked like! Would recommend this process to anyone.

We are so happy we used Shine for our wedding invitations. I loved the clean and elegant look of their invitations. There are so many fonts to choose from too. There was one aspect of the invitation (the belly bands) that we were unhappy with, but they quickly made the corrections free of charge which we really appreciated. We had a lot of guests compliment the invitations saying, "They were the most elegant invitations they had ever received!" We also ended up ordering all the matching Shine programs, menus, table numbers, and place cards. Everything looked beautiful the day of the wedding!

The stationary itself is amazing, the quality and colour is perfect and suits our Modern Wedding theme.
Putting the invites together is made easy (even for the non-crafty people, such as myself!) with the supplies received, we had them ready to send in no time at all!

While the design I picked was a bit on the expensive side, the quality of these invitations were worth every penny! The designer I worked with was flexible, answered all of my questions and worked very fast! I was very happy with how our invitations turned out!

Shine is honestly the easiest site for wedding invites. The invites we ordered were so simple, classic and elegant. I've received so many compliments on them from friends and family, which makes the price worth it. Once you place the order, a rep responds pretty much immediately with proofs so the speedy turnaround time is a huge plus. In addition to invites, they also offer other options for the ceremony and reception that are equally amazing. So impressed with them :)

I came across Shine on Pinterest and loved the style. Very simple, classic, and elegant. I ordered a few samples which, by no fault of the company, were delivered to the wrong apartment. I contacted Shine and they sent out a new batch of samples without a problem and I had them in my hand 2 days later. The ordering and proofing process could not have been easier. Each round of proof edits was completed within 24 hours (usually even 12 hours!). I found the price to be very fair and the large range of customizable options definitely makes it affordable for brides on all budgets. Our invitations are beautiful and exactly what we pictured. I will definitely be recommending Shine to future brides-to-be!!
