Can’t Recommend Enough!
Jaime and her team are the absolute best! From my initial inquiry all the way up to our wedding day, Jaime was always SUPER responsive and so kind, always made sure to answer each and every question, was so organized, and sent out such helpful tips and information. I knew we were in good hands every step of the way. My wedding party and I had the pleasure of working with Kirby and Jenna for our hair and makeup. They did a beautiful job on all of us and they were so sweet and fun to work with! I even got compliments on how well my wedding look held up throughout the entire night. I can’t thank Shimmer For You enough! Highly recommend! -

Jaime is an amazing makeup artist! She made me feel absolutely beautiful on my wedding day. I got a million compliments on my makeup. After our trial, I wanted to make a few changes to what I originally asked for, and she executed it perfectly. Jaime is also kind and personable, and very responsive to messages. She helped me plan out the timeline of when to start getting ready which I really appreciated. 10/10 highly recommend. -

From start to finish, Jaime and her crew were a DREAM to work with! Not only was I so happy with my hair and makeup, but so were all of my bridesmaids AND my mom and mother-in-law, and that’s saying something. Also, it was still flawless at 1am…trust me, you want them for your big day! -

Jaime and her team are the best! From the trail to the day of my wedding Jaime was awesome to work with. My ladies and I all looked beautiful thanks to Jaime and Nicolette. I couldn’t have been happier with the way everyone turned out. I can’t recommend Jaime enough. They were so friendly and professional. They were so easy to work with and made any adjustments and answered all question they were asked. I can’t thank them enough! Book them for your big day you won’t be sorry! -

Jaime and her team were so accommodating to all my bridesmaids and my mother. One of my bridesmaids was super shy and unfamiliar with beauty, makeup, hairstyling, etc. and Jaime and her team made sure was comfortable throughout the whole process. Everything went smoothly and everyone loved their looks! Highly recommend! -

Jamie and her team were amazing from the very moment I started looking for hair and makeup for my wedding. Jamie was very quick to get back to you and always answered all my annoying questions. I loved that she let you do a trial for hair and makeup before the big day. Nicolette did my hair and all of my bridal party and can I say she did an amazing job, she was so sweet and easy to talk to. Jen did my makeup and my bridal party and it came out great, we all looked amazing. Thank you all again for making me feel special on my big day I truly appreciate it. I will definitely be recommending to future brides! -

Jaime and Val were wonderful to work with. It was so easy to tell them what we were thinking -- they checked in and were open to adjusting things (and they suggested things) to be sure we all thought the outcome was the best. We all loved the results. This was my second marriage (so I am not YOUNG) but I looked amazing. And the day of was fun -- relaxing and like we are hanging out with friends who are helping you get ready. The quality of the make-up is outstanding. You will be very happy to work with Jaime and her team!! -

You will absolutely not regret choosing Shimmer For You!!! Jamie was absolutely amazing to work with!! She was so quick to answer any of my questions leading up to my hair/make up trial. I wanted to try out hair extensions for my wedding (which I have never worn before) and she was so great to help advise me on what to purchase for the best results. My trial blew me away and it gave me so much confidence and excitement for the look on my actual wedding day. Hair and makeup was exactly what I wanted. She made sure that I still felt like myself when choosing the look and I was so comfortable in it after the trial and on my wedding day . My wedding ceremony was at 4:30 and I was nervous that I would not have enough tine to get everyone ready at the hotel, get to the venue and have enough time for all of the photos I wanted. She was so understandable and made sure to show up at the hotel at 5:45 am to give us the most time possible without having to feel rushed. Everyone was finished with ample time to spare which included my mom and 6 bridesmaids as well as myself. She even helped my bridesman out with his hair. She spent the morning laughing with us and making everything super comfortable to the point where I felt like she was just another one of my girls hanging out. Such a great experience, would give 10 stars if I could! -

*Jaime is a great person to work with. Her prices are reasonable and she works really hard at the trials with you to brainstorm exactly what you want for your big day. She has a great touch to makeup and made me feel comfortable getting my face done (I never wear makeup- literally NOTHING). She made my typical fresh face look polished without covering up my freckles or making me look like a stranger (a worry my husband had lol). She worked on myself and 6 other women for their hair while having a second stylist do makeup. She actually incorporated bits of my hairstyle into my bridesmaid’s hairstyles which really made us not only look but FEEL more connected. She truly made me turn into the Tangled/Rapunzel vision I had.
*The ONLY reason I am giving them a lower score is that the 2nd makeup artist that was chosen for the team did not ask me at all what my “vision” was (not that I really had one) and had to redo several of my bridesmaids because they look completely opposite of the wedding's vibe. She was serving us smokey eyes when we were having a soft pink fairytale-themed wedding…she was understanding though and did work with us to fix it! Nicole did both my H&M though so I had NO complaints there. My bridesmaids would just not prefer Nicolette, the second choice. If smokey eyes are your thing, though, then by all means!!! -

Jaime and Sara were so great. I had a different hair and Mua for my May wedding and once it got postponed to September I had to find a new one. Jaime was so personable and so professional she explained through covid rules and worked with me every step of the way. From my trial to the wedding day my hair and mua was beautiful. I felt like an actual princess! And both held up all day and night of dancing my butt off. Definitely recommend! -
