Awesome Service

Shima Limousine was AWESOME!! We hired them to transport our guests from the Hotel to the Venue. The buses were there early waiting for our guests to arrive! At the end of the evening they were right there to pick up our guests and transport them back to the hotel. Our guests were raving about how wonderful the buses were, the bus drivers were courteous and gracious. Thank you again for such wonderful service and making our wedding day perfect!

Great feeling to have a reliable way to transport a big bridal party.

Our driver was fantastic! Arrived on time and was very professional and courteous!

Great limo service for a great price!

Shima Limousine took care of the transportation needs for my friend’s wedding. We communicated frequently by phone and email, every employee that we interacted with was courteous and accommodating. They answered every question and concern and took care of some of our last minute changes. We rented the limo bus for 28 people and a limousine for the bride and groom at the end of the night. They were on time, well dressed, friendly and even helped load our stuff!
I would definitely recommend Shima Limousine for your wedding day!!

I couldn’t have been happier with using Shima for our wedding day! They were so accommodating and when they said they were giving us “the big limo” the definitely did! We had a wedding party of 23 plus a photographer and everyone fit comfortably (and the bus was beautiful)! Also, our driver Bill was beyond sweet, smiling the entire day, helping us on and of the limo bus, and had a sense of humor that had everyone smiling! I wish I could relive our limo bus ride a million times over! Thank you Shima and driver Bill!

We used Shima Limo for our wedding day and could not of been more pleased! The limo bus was clean and comfortable. Our driver, Bill Ritchey, was so accommodating and helpful. Everyone on our limo bus enjoyed playing music and not having to worry about a thing! Shima and Bill helped make our wedding day go perfectly. I highly recommend Shima Limousine!

Great shuttle from reception hotel. My guests loved riding in the limo at the end of the night. Driver was polite as well.

I could not have been happier with the service from Shima for our big day. Booking was easy and super friendly, the vehicles were gorgeous, and most importantly - our drivers were right on time. Shima did really great! Christina was a pleasure to work with. They made transportation from the church to the reception hall fun and enjoyable. The stretch limo was so nice and fancy. We were so happy and would definitely recommend them to everyone who needs a limo for their wedding.

We used Shima for our ride home from the venue and our wonderful driver helped us load up the car with all of our gifts and helped us unload it when we got home. So so sooooo nice! Well worth the money for a comfortable ride home.

Shima Limousine was outstanding. I found them in the wedding showcase at the mall. Christina was extremely nice and very knowledgable. She provided a fantastic service that was above all expectation. Shima Limo is a fantastic limo company to rent from! Their prices are extremely reasonable and they do a great job of providing you with so much for your perfect day! My wife and I rented one of their party buses for our wedding and we couldn't have been more pleased with the service! They bus was on time at all of our locations and our driver was the best! He was very helpful with getting everyone on board the bus and to make sure we were having a good time. He knew where all of our locations were and the best routes to take. All around fantastic experience. We had out of town guests at the Marriott needing transportation to and from the church, along with in between, transporting the wedding party. The 37 passenger bus that we rented arrived early to pick up the guests, was able to pick up the wedding party and get them to the church on time as well. Then as we took pics at the church, they shuttled the guest back to the hotel and was back as we were finishing up and transported us downtown for pictures. The driver was very accommodating as well as professional and always on time! One of the bridesmaids left her phone on the bus and when we called the next morning, they had her phone and were able to go pick it up. Very trustworthy.

We used Shima Limousine for our wedding and were completely satisfied with the service they provided. They were on time to each destination, pick-up and drop-off and very professional. We also kept changing the timing leading up to the wedding and they were very accommodating. We would definitely use this service again if we needed it.

Shima Limousine is thee best! Michele in the reservations department was very professional. She informed us of all available options. The sedan at the end of the evening was perfect. Our driver Steve was great!!!!! We ran into overtime and he never flinched, never pressured, never changed his attitude or level of professionalism. He went on as though it was planned all along. The limousine and sedan were both immaculate. Driver was well dressed, well groomed and polite. We were very pleased and would definitely recommend and reuse Shima Limousine. Prices were very compatible as well.

On a 5 star scale, I would give Shima 10 stars if I could!! Amazing service, extremely responsive and very professional. Our timeline was followed precisely and the limousine was so beautiful! Michele is a joy to work with and the quickest, most efficient person when making limo arrangements. She made sure that everything was done the way I wanted it to be even though I had some changes at the end. The limos arrived early and the drivers were so polite and courteous. We rented a shuttle that ran from the hotel to the venue and then back again to insure that everyone got home safely after the wedding. Our guests loved the convenience of the shuttle. The driver that took us home was so nice that he helped carry in my wedding dress since I had changed during the reception. I definitely would use this limo company again!

I was completely dreading the process of making transportation arrangements for our wedding party...explaining all of the logistics & placing so much trust in them to get it right. I was so thrilled to find Shima Limousine, as Michele my point of contact, was wonderful to work with. She was prompt in responding, friendly, and we didn't have to start from square one every time I needed to add or change something. She really knew me & our account, which is such an asset. She also called me a few days before our wedding just to check in and do a final review before I could even think of it. It was a very secure feeling to know that they were ready for us, even in the midst of their busy prom season. We used a shuttle & 14 passenger stretch limo, and were so pleased. Our drivers were professional, on time, and I didn't have to answer any questions on my wedding day. They just got us where we needed to be, on time. Would totally recommend this vendor!

Michele and her staff at Shima Limousine were an all-around pleasure to deal with. We didn't book our limo bus until 2 weeks before our wedding day but they were able to accommodate all of our requests even with the last minute booking. Communication was clear, easy and always available. The drivers were on time and completely professional and courteous. Everything we paid for was delivered and I would not even consider calling any other company with my future business.

We used Shima Limousine for our honeymoon airport transportation and we could not have been happier with them. The entire experience was so relaxing, not having to deal with parking was so wonderful. We changed our return flight and Shima Limousine had no problem accommodating us even though we arrived a day early and at midnight. I can't wait for the next event where we get to use Shima!

Shima Limousine exceeded my expectations. After a month of shopping around, I called upon Shima and immediately felt comfortable with Michele. She was very personable and gave me all the information I was looking for. It was obvious she cared about her clientele very much. The limo bus was in pristine shape inside and out, and Tony the driver was very professional both in image and conduct. We got married on 15th November and the day was just perfect, in part because Shima Limousine was such a great company to have used. Brian was absolutely fantastic! He was so helpful, friendly and such a trooper all day, taking us to the many photo stops and helping me in and out the car (in my enormous dress)! The bridal party loved him, and we couldn't have asked for a better limo driver. So glad that Shima was recommended to us, and I would encourage anybody to use them! I was blown away by your service and your vehicle! Our driver, Anthony, was amazing. He made us feel so welcome and relaxed from the moment he arrived. His driving skills are superb, even though traffic was heavy; we never noticed how effortlessly our car floated through it. The car itself, a stretch limo, was breath-taking. Everything was perfect and on time, our driver showed in a beautiful stretch limousine and the driver was EXTREMELY helpful and courteous and very well dressed to impress. Michelle and the team at Shima Limousine were extremely helpful and easy to use. We rented two coach buses and a 10 passenger limo for our wedding and we couldn't be any happier with the service. Happy with the limo service. They showed me the limo before we purchased. It was the same one the day they came to get us. Nice limos for good price. Excellent! Shima made getting to and from our ceremony, picture spots, reception and home very smooth. The bus limo we used during the day was phenomenal, it had every amenity one could hope for including a bathroom on board. We had 8 people in our wedding party and we were very comfortable. We would highly recommend Shima to our friends and family.

WOW! What a fantastic bus! We had the 22-24 passenger bus and it was perfect! It even had a bathroom on it (that definitely came in handy). The driver was very professional and let us do our thing. The limo was a big decision for my now husband, and I was going to go with someone a little bit more cost effective, but I am SO happy I didn't! The bars on the bus, seats, lighting, everything was prefect!

We must have had the best driver ever. My husband and I wanted to take his vintage Corvette, but have a party bus for the rest of the people in the party (9 adults, 9 children). He got us all from the church, to the Cultural Gardens for pictures, to the venue. He also made sure the caravan, which included us and three cars of adults following their children, didn't get lost. Shima was easy to work with, our driver was amazing, and the cost was affordable! A+ Service that I would highly recommend to anyone needing a lift!

I booked Shima at the Today's Bride show at the IX Center- mainly on whim- and I am so glad I did! They were so flexible with our schedule and helpful over the few months leading up to the wedding when payments were being made, schedules were being adjusted, etc.

On the day of our event, our driver George, was on time to the minute, and he felt like an honorary member of the bridal party! He was so fun and courteous that never once did we put the divider up! He already knew the itinerary ahead of time and was helpful- above and beyond my expectations of the duties of a limo driver.

I'm extremely glad to have used a local vendor for my wedding, and would recommend Shima to anyone! I will for sure be using them again in the future.

I used shima for my shuttle bus service and they did a awesome job. They went above and beyond the 530 to 630 driver even delivered mine and my groomsman extra shirts from the hotel to the reception hall.

I used Shima Limousine for our end-of-reception shuttle. I knew of them from a previous job - my company often used them to get employees to and from the airport for work trips. After looking at a few other companies, not only did Shima offer the flexibility we needed, they ended up coming in at the lowest price-point for what we were looking for. Most places had minimums for limo rentals (most were 2 hours) but all I needed was a limo to pick up 20 people from our reception at midnight and drop them off at a hotel 10 minutes away. Shima was able to just that, instead of making us rent the limo for 2 hours. They arrived on time and were really patient waiting until the last person was on the bus before leaving, even though it meant leaving about 15 minutes later than planned. The driver was really friendly and got us there safe. One of the nice things about Shima was that they included the gratuity in the initial cost, so it meant less cash to carry with us on the day of, so we appreciated that. Overall, definitely recommend them for your limo service needs!

Shima ha been great so far! They gave us the most reasonable price for transportation and when I inquired about getting a larger vehicle, they upgraded us for free! I would definitely recommend shima!

We used Shima for our shuttle to and from our hotel to reception and our Limo Bus for our bridal party. Shima did an amazing job all around. Our drivers were absolutely the best! One time, courteous, professional and reliable. The last thing you want to worry about on your wedding day is transportation and Shima made sure we had no worries. Our drive of the party bus was respectful of all the stops we wanted to make for photographs and extremely accommodating with pick up and drop-offs. Also, our shuttle bus driver was excellent especially dealing with all our guests at the end of the reception. He went out of his way to make sure all guests were picked up from the reception that needed transportation to the hotel.

We used Shima for transportation to and from the hotel from our reception. They arrived on time and provided professional service. No complaints whatsoever from our guests - would definitely recommend!

They were very flexible in booking the transportation times. I called a few times to adjust the transportation windows and they were very accommodating.

I gave a lower 'responsiveness' rating because I did have some difficulty obtaining confirmations from them after booking their services. Representatives would confirm everything on the phone and say they would send a confirmation email - however, I never received the emails - even when I called to ask specifically for a confirmation email. There's so much to juggle with wedding planning, that it's helpful to have something in writing to keep track of everything. I also had a billing issue after our wedding. I was overcharged, but I they did correct it once I called and brought it to their attention.

We were very pleased with the quality of the vehicle and the responsiveness of the driver. The driver was very prompt and professional. The only issue which we discovered after the vehicle had arrived at the hotel for pickup of the bride and bridesmaids was that there were no glasses and ice provided (the office had indicated on 2 occasions there would be ice and glasses). The driver indicated that the glasses had been recently taken by a previous employee and not yet replaced.

Shima Limo was affordable and very professional! The party bus came on time to pick up the bridal party and the driver was very nice and professional. The bus was really clean and we had a great time on the way to our wedding!

We used Shima for transportation for our Bridal Party for the day. We had a wonderful experience with them. Our drive Bill was on time and did everything he could to make sure our day was great. He was early, helped everyone on and off the bus great!

Everytime I called the office I got great service. They were helpful and their communication was great!

We also used Shima for transportation home from the wedding. Many of guests had a few drinks and we wanted to make sure everyone got home safely! Our driver seemed a little perplexed with all the stops and even bothered by them. Everyone got home safely and that is the most important thing!

we had a good experience with Shima. Limo was slightly late the morning of the wedding and the driver didn't have directions on where to go for photos even though we provided them ahead of time, otherwise the experience was positive.

We had a good experience with this company. The limo was really nice and very affordable for what we needed. The only problem we had was that we had them booked until midnight to transport our guest to the hotel. The limo left exactly and midnight, even though they left some guests standing there stranded.

They were the recommended shuttle company for hotel to venue so we got a discount using them to transport guests. I would have used them for limo for bridal party too but when I called with questions the lady was very rude with me on the phone. I used A-1 for that instead and they were great! I had no issues with Shima on the wedding day but planning a wedding is stressful. The last thing you want to deal with is bad customer service.

I would recommend Shima Limos to anyone getting married. We had a large wedding party so we needed a bus. We did not want a sleezy bus with a stripper poll, and I was able to find that with Shima. Our driver was not super friendly at first and was asking us on the bus how we were going to pay. We had our credit card on file but that is not something you want to be worrying about during your wedding day. It got sorted out and the driver was dancing with us by the end. Bring your own Aux cord or CDs because the radio really doesn't work!

Used Shima for our wedding transportation. The vehicle was outdated and not very clean when it showed up. I also requested champagne flutes and when the driver showed up they were not there, disappointed. Spend a little extra and go with a different limo service.

They were on time and nice but sent the wrong vehicle. They said they called the day of to notify me but they had my phone number and email wrong in their records. The driver was professional and I understood you cant help when a vehicle is in the shop.

Ok service overall. Worried driver was not at pickup spot we specified after wedding ceremony, but he was in the back lot. Didn't like that we had no contact with driver on day of wedding beforehand to confirm. Payment was not done on credit card like we had arranged with office when we booked, but we had cash tip ready for driver. Driver was friendly, courteous, professional. Arranged a separate trip to/from airport and pickup driver claims we didn't tip her (as we did in cash after drop off) and we got billed extra on our credit card. We called and got it taken care of, but still...

Shima Limousine Service was NOT the perfect shuttle service for my wedding. Shima was hired to move my wedding guests from the hotel to the reception hall and back to the hotel at the end of the reception. We hired the 37 person bus and received a van and a stretch limo instead - NOT WHAT WE ORDERED! The quality of service and responsiveness from the Shima office was dreadful. While the driver was professional and arrived to the hotel promptly he chose to cut the return shuttle service short stranding 60 of our guests at the reception hall. Our guest spoke poorly about transportation service and it was a black mark on our wedding day. I encourage you to avoid Shima Limo Service at all costs. I've had better luck with A-1 Mr. Limo and should of went for quality or the cheap cost of Shima. You get what you pay for!

Had their limo service for my daughters wedding Sept 23, 2017 Paid for 26 passenger limo. It was beautiful. But no air conditioning. We had the worst experience. Called for a week and have yet to have them call m e back. Would never use them again.

Worst experience ever

Very little communication, I called them less than a week before our wedding to confirm our schedule. Then the day of, they cancelled 15 minutes before me and my bridesmaids were supposed to be picked up. Apparently even such a big company didn’t have any extra buses that day. Thankfully, we had cars available but it was such a mess!!!
Received a full refund, but their customer service was awful. I CALLED THEM the Wednesday following our wedding day, and the woman told me she couldn’t direct me to a manager because they all work out of the office now. She only apologized once after I repeatedly expressed my frustration. Seemed very disinterested with it all. Never got a call back from a manager like I was told I would. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!

The only thing I can say about this company is that you do not want to use them especially for a wedding! By far the worst business/owner I have EVER dealt with on anything. My wife, the bride, was nearly in tears on our WEDDING DAY because of this company, particularly the lady who co-owns the company, I believe her name is Michelle. I highly recommend NOT using this company. Check out the BBB in Ohio on them. Multiple complaints and not a single resolution, wish I would have looked before. The only good thing I can say is they were decently priced, but would have gladly paid someone else more money if it meant we would have gotten what was promised by the contract.......

Chose Shima after talking with representative at Great Lakes bridal show in February 2018, she was pleasant, even called to make sure limo van was avaliable for our date. After I told my daughter to book this for her wedding with the special price from the show, things went bad. They put wrong vehicle down for us, (just said limo), we wanted van, and when we tried to talk twice to them, even in person, she was extremely rude and I could not even speak before the employer talked while I was trying to explain to her. We were never given any apology, we were always made to feel terrible and it was all our fault. Very poor customer service, in dealing with issues. Also, the driver had no knowledge of where he was going. Isn't there any GPS ON VEHICLES?, The credit card on file they said they didn't have, and they messed up confirmation twice, my daughter had to call. Not professional way to deal with customers. I reviewed all of the vendors we used for wedding, all positives with 5's but could not give this one more than .5

"When only the best will do!" - What a joke!! If I could have given them zero stars I would have, but it won't let me. My parents rented a 28 passenger limo for my sister's wedding on July 1, 2017. It was a hot day, but in the low 80's. The driver was awesome, first-class guy. The limo was garbage. The air conditioner wasn't working, one of the lights was ripped off the ceiling and some kind of liquid was dripping out of it onto my sister's wedding dress, and two shades were ripped off the windows, while another window was held in place with duct tape. I called my parents to complain, and when they called Shima, the customer service rep told them the air was working that morning, and it was a hot day so no wonder we are hot. She told us to "pull the shades down". Well that is impossible when 2 shades weren't there! Also, when we got out to take pictures, it was at least 15 degrees cooler outside than in the limo. Not to mention we had three very pregnant women with us in the limo who were sweating their brains out. When my father called today to talk to the manager, she was extremely rude and basically said that all of us on the bus were lying. NEVER RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!

The service was awful! The radio did not work - the driver never once got out to assist any of us. We were promised ice and there was just a little bit in their cooler. No toilet paper in bathroom. There was moldy Kleenex in bathroom. The driver ignored us when we asked why radio did not work. Just a bad experience. Oh, and he was talking on his cell phone while driving. We contacted them twice and no returned call!!

Our 24 seater party bus broke down the day of our wedding 9/27/14 literally not even 20 seconds after left the church parking lot. We booked the bus from 2-6 and didn't get back on the road in the replacement van they sent until after 4:00. We planned on taking pictures downtown then making our way to Olmsted Falls but we sat in an Arbys parking lot for an hour and half, at the same time paying our photographer to-do nothing and only made it to one of our locations. When the replacement vehicle showed up, the driver really told us he was dropping us off downtown and leaving us there because he had another wedding to attend to. ARE U KIDDING ME? My husband called multiple times and was given the run-around. today 10/10 he was finally called back by Tammy stating that we would be charged $264.00 the balance. She proceeded to state that they could of left us on the side of the road or got the bus towed as they are not obligated to do anything by Ohio law, of course he hung up on her because who says that. I then called after that to confirm that we were being charged for what we got as a replacement a "shitty van" at the bridal show discount rate. she also told me they weren't obligated to send a replacement vehicle.I then told tammy that it wasn't our fault that they gave us a piece of "shit bus"(rather politely and calm, not yelling) which even the driver said this was not the first time he had an issue with this same bus and was surprised that it was on the road. Calling the bus a piece of shit must have offended Tammy because she then lectured me told me that she wasn't brought up this way and she then hung up. im not sure what she was implying but you don't have to be brought up anyway to be an angry customer. I never disrespected Tammy cursed at her or yelled at her in anyway. We put a huge chunk of our special day in their hands and to be treated like this is ridiculous. In conclusion stay away from Shima limo. Bad service

DO NOT spend money on this terrible and unprofessional company! I booked them for my sister's bachelorette party and here are just a few of the issues we ran into:
-air conditioning did not work = very uncomfortable ride.
-belt blew which caused a strong smell of burning rubber the whole way.
-driver said limo was "not safe to drive" so we had to wait around for them to replace the bus.
-because we had to wait around, we went over our time slot by 1 hour, which they assured me I would not have to pay.

They ended up charging me for the extra hour - the only thing they waived was the "changing of the bus fee" which ended up in no discount at all in the end.
They were VERY rude to me on the phone, the manager would not speak with me, and they REFUSED to give me a discount despite the entire day being ruined. She then HUNG UP on me when I asked for further contact information on who I can discuss this with.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! They left my guests stranded at hotels, and didn't tell them they weren't coming back. They also did not let us know that there were still guests at the hotels, as we would have paid extra to have them brought to the ceremony site. They also did not let guests know when they were there to return guests by asking the DJ by making Ian announcement. Instead they thought it was better to ask me (the bride) to ask everyone if they were ready to go home. And they scheduled an airport pick up early enough that they had to end service early. All the guests complained and my patents were driving guests home at the end of the night.

Unfortunately Shima failed to be there for me on my wedding day. Not only did I have to call the company to notify them that there driver was 15 minutes late but they didnt even know the driver was a no show to warehouse. Driver did not show until our wedding ceremony at the church. I (the bride) had to scramble to find 11 bridesmaids a ride to the church as well as myself. As a result of the no show to my house for pick up, I did not get to take any before photos for my wedding by photographer. I have zero professional photos with my mother, 3 brothers or my uncle who was walking me down the aisle. Then to make matters worse, I never received a call back from the manager in regards to my complaint. An employee apologized to my mother when she called but not once to me. AND they refunded me $150 when that only covered the hour without the limo service. They said they would send $250 ($350 is what should have been refunded because I paid a photographer $200 and didnt even get to use her because I was stranded!) DO NOT USE THEM FOR A WEDDING unless you want to take the chance of being late to your own wedding like me. or if they do you refund you, lie about the amount. Its up to you but your special day takes months of planning for a reason, not to have things like this happen. Happy wedding planning folks!

We had a sedan to drive the bride/groom during pictures, charged us for hours didn't use. talking with shima they kept changing the minmium hours charged
Shuttle from hotel to reception showed up late. Had to have hotel shuttle us, thank you Radisson!
In setting up and confirming time/price, price and minmium hour kept changing even with having email confirmation. Shime charge my credit are with amount higher that contracted. No one at Shima seems to be able to help you and the person who can of course doesn't come in till later and did not return your call. I have been trying to settle this for over 2 weeks. Michelle the office manager is rude, hangs up on you, doesn't call you back. They don't keep good records and I have to forward their confirmation back to them to proof what they quoted me.

My new husband and I, very sadly, used Shima Limousine as our transportation vendor for the Big Day. They were recommended to us by a close family member based on price. Well, we most certainly got what we paid for. The price we received was subsequently thrown in our face and was used to justify the extremely poor service we received. Think: “you got such a good price-what are you people even complaining to us about?!” It’s been a month since our Wedding, so I am able to write this from a level-headed, objective, cooled-off stance. (This company definitely made my blood boil for days and weeks after the occurrence.) In the past month, this company has done absolutely nothing in terms of customer service to rectify the situation. It has taken countless follow-up phone calls and we are still nowhere.

The facts are, we were under contract from 3-6. Limo did not show up until 4:30. It happened to me and it could happen to you.

We missed out on pictures, had a local winery anticipating a large group that never showed, paid our photographer (and as you know, photographer’s are NOT cheap) for her time that was literally spent sitting around. Shima ended up costing us three times more than what we paid them in a domino effect of events they caused. The worst part of it all is not the Wedding photos I will never have, not the in-between-ceremony-and-reception-fun I didn’t get to have with my Bridal Party, not the large sum of money we ended up wasting because of them, not the fact that I was a sitting-pissed off-and-in-tears duck for 1.5 hours on my Wedding day, but the utter lack of sympathy, apology, customer service, and any resemblance of an effort to not let their customer walk away as ANYTHING but happy and satisfied. Shame on Shima, the alleged “family-owned company.” What an awful taste left in my mouth.

Not a recommended vendor. Highly negative experience. I’m very sad to think this could happen to another bride or anyone who would obviously use them for a special day. Despicable and we are seeking legal advice for services paid for not received. Just what every newlywed wants to be dealing with post-Wedding on account of a bad vendor, right? Good Luck!
