Sherwood is the best of your photo Needs

All too often, in this busy world many people complain and do not take the time to give another a person or business a compliment when they deserve one. Today I am telling those interested about the professional quality and phenomenal personal at Sherwood Photography.
Let's start with the fact that I love to receive the holiday cards my brother send out after having Sherwood take his family pictures. They are alway a keepers from year to year and end up on refrigerators, car or bedroom mirror. This is really just the introduction of the quality of the work performed by the studio.
I have had serval experiences using Sherwood at various occasion’s as has my family. Thus far both of my brothers and I have all had our Wedding photos and albums done by Sherwood studios. As well, I have had both of my sons Bar Mitzvah’s Photo's using Sherwood, each and every time I am more then happy. This company has the experience of informing its clientele not only how to pose but, also at what venue they think might best suit their personal photo needs prior to the service and or reception. They really care about capturing that special day which occurs in only few hours and making it a memory in a piece of real quality album. All my friends who look at our albums tell us that the albums are gorgeous. I am always pleased too let them know it was Sherwood and recommend them.
It if for this reason that I would like to personally thank the owners and staff at Sherwood for employee such wonderful individuals. Who work diligently starting at the point of contract with people like Kevin, to the photographers such as Earl, Rich and Tony.

Best Photographer

I would highly recommend Brian at Sherwood to do anyone’s Wedding Photography or party. He was amazing to work with and our pictures came out amazing. We will definitely be using him again for our next party.

We used Sherwood Triart for our video for our wedding. From our initial meeting with them, we absolutely loved them! Walking into their store in Woodbury we got a great feeling. The store is beautiful; our meeting was professional, and it was obvious that that the quality of service was excellent. Upon viewing several videos that they had on file, I immediately fell in love with their work and booked them. The packages and prices for a full day videographer were extremely fair based on other prices we were seeing. Peter, our day of videographer, was amazing!! He was professional, kind, patient, and flexible. He did a great job of shooting everything that we needed and wanted that day, but also making himself almost invisible and not getting in the photographers way. I never even noticed the light from his camera. We would recommend Sherwood Triart in a heartbeat!

Wow! That seems to be the best word to describe my wife and I’s experience with Kevin, Rich and the entire team at Sherwood Triart.
Our first interaction with Sherwood came during our engagement shoot. My wife and I were having trouble finding the perfect location to do the shoot so we went to Kevin and Rich and told them exactly what we wanted. They were able to curate an amazing list of locations and the photos came out incredible. We still get comments on the photos to this day!

After the engagement shoot was such an incredible experience, we knew that wanted the team at Sherwood to capture our wedding. As we had built such a special connection to Rich during the engagement shoot, we of course, wanted him to be the one to do the wedding. Needless to say, he didn’t let us down.

My entire family approached us during and after the wedding to compliment the professionalism and the efficiency of the team at Sherwood. They stayed cool, calm and collected in the hours leading up the vows and were able to deliver an incredible experience for both, me and my wife, but also our friends and family, which is so incredibly important. (If you can keep your mother and your future wife happy at the same time, then you’re definitely on to something!)

After the wedding and the honeymoon, the team at Sherwood reached out to us to thank us and we couldn’t stop thanking them! Our photos look absolutely stunning and we couldn’t be happier with how things turned out. Our first child is being born in December and we can’t wait to bring her over to the studio!

I have known about Sherwood Triart for over 7 years as they photographed a coworkers wedding. I was in awe of their product and photography since I saw the Bride's wedding album. I never had a reason to hire a photographer. However, recently I became engaged and BOOM they were my very FIRST choice. I called and priced. I priced around but always knew in my heart they had the gig. Pricing is all over the place when it comes to photographers but the talent is what you are hiring. We have only done our engagement shoot with Brian. HE IS FABULOUS!! Simple as that. He shows professionalism and enthusiasm during our shoot and we had a blast. LOVED his shots, he very light photo editing and being a photographer myself ( dogs and kids) was so impressed with his talent. THE BEST CHOICE FOR MY WEDDING HANDS DOWN.
I love the convenience of their storefront, the professionalism in review by Kevin and everyone in the store is so friendly. Cant wait to see how amazing our wedding shots will be !!!

We booked Sherwood Triart for our Engagement and Wedding photography and videography. Kevin set us up with our photographer, Brian, for our engagement shoot, and we could not be more happy! Brian was so easy to work with, making us feel relaxed and comfortable. My finance, who dislikes being photographed was smiling and enjoying the time capturing the special moments. We hope to have Brian work with us again for our wedding day, but feel confident that anyone in the company would be just as professional and talented. Kevin was flexible and understanding, keeping our budget in mind while working around our hectic schedules to help make the process easy and fun (as it should be!). I cannot wait for the big day and feel I can breathe easy knowing we have the best photography team working with us on our most important day!

I have had plenty experience planning parties for all my nieces and nephews so I've had plenty experience with many photographers. I got married last fall and a friend of mine had recommend i use Sherwood Triart, a bit hesitant at first because i wanted to use a photography service familiar to me, but boy was it an amazing decision to hire them.

Upon walking in, i was greeted with with friendly and helpful employees. They were able to see me right away since they are a small family owned business; they were very caring to my needs.

One thing i have never experienced with another photography business before was comfort. As many of you know, weddings could get pretty hectic, especially for the bride. These photographers are so experienced and they helped calm my nerves and talk me through the chaos. They also made me feel comfortable in my own skin. For me, this was very important as I was a bit insecure because i had cheated on my diet a bit before my wedding ;)

They got the perfect shots. I now have all the beautiful moments from my wedding that any woman would want to remember. They didn't miss out on anything, always attentive to what was happening so they could make sure we were happy with the photos they took. They are very hard workers.

After the wedding, getting my photos and album was kind of a breeze. I know many people say they take long, but it is well worth the wait!!!!!!! You can't expect perfection in a matter of minutes; anything made with time, care and of good quality HAS to take sometime. These were some of the most beautiful photos i have ever seen. They made me, my family, and friends look so beautiful and i am so pleased with how they turned out. In fact, money was a factor in this situation, but they are worth very penny and i have no regrets. I couldn't be happier with how my photos turned out. I would definitely recommend Sherwood Triart to anyone, for any occasion.

We went to see a few vendors before them but once we saw their work we were both blown away. They take their time with you and really explain how they work. Pricier but definitely worth it. So far we've done our engagement shoot and fell in love with it. Kevin has been helping us with everything and he's awesome, Brian was our photographer for the engagement shoot. Can't wait till the wedding!

I just wanted to take a moment to share my personal experience with Sherwood Triart.

Usually these reviews come from satisfied brides but I am the Father of The Bride who truly
felt the love of working with Sherwood as they shot the weddings of both my daughters.

Close to eight years ago I first met them for my first daughter's wedding at Chateau Briand where they did everything in the world to make it a special day for her and for me. My daughter Amy felt that Earl was her personal friend who provided advise on not only photography, but anything she needed answers on as she planned her special day. We had Brian and his crew managing the evening and the results were the most magnificent albums I had ever seen…….

This past October, my second daughter got married at The Inn at New Hyde Park so of course we went back to Sherwood for our photography & videography needs. They once again set the bar at excellence in every step of the process, making Emily's experience less stressful. They treat you like family and you can't ignore the fact that they are there to make the memories of the wedding last a lifetime through their pictures.

From the moment you walk in you feel the love all around and as the man you paid the bill for two extraordinary wedding packages, I can honestly say that it was the best part of my life in making the dreams for my daughter's weddings a reality. Once the great food is gone and the dancing stops, all we have is that album on the cocktail table for the years that follow and Sherwood delivers that like no other service provider I have ever worked with. They simply are the best at what they do.

I was told by four different couples to look into Sherwood Triart Photography and now I understand why. I took my engagement shots with them and can not wait for the wedding! I knew that they were good but the top my expectations!! I cant wait to see the pictures! Brian was incredible, professional and willing to adapted and be creative. You know you have someone good when they start crawling throw shrubbier to get pictures. Keith his assistant was great he would run to my help even when i didn't know i needed it he was there to help.

I know most people can say that Sherwood Triart Photography can be expensive however it is more than worth it. We were truly impressed with their photography and how professional they were. Our magnate save the dates looked amazing and were very high quality. Our engagement photos came out wonderful and I can't wait to see what's in store for our wedding day! Btw they gave us military discount and were super flexibility with us.

My wife and I had sat with several photographers before we visited the Sherwood Triart studio. When we made our appointment with Kevin we instantly were blown away with the quality of the photographs that lined the walls. Within 5 minutes of looking at sample albums and seeing the before and after pictures (original photos and touched up final photos in the albums) and the remarkable artistic talent and work put into the albums we were sold. Without being significantly different in price they were leaps and bounds above the rest of the photogs we met with. Brian and Keith were our photographers on our wedding day and were incredibly professional and easy to work with. We got thousands of pictures and it didn't seem like we missed any of our own wedding which I have heard so many people complain about. They were punctual and great guys. Tony helped us design our album from top to bottom and our input was taken at every turn. They have the best equipment and talent at their disposal. My friends and I are all at the age where we all are getting married and out of six or seven of my wifes and my friends everyone is very jealous of our wedding album. They may have saved a couple of dollars but it is worth every penny to have the quality of album that sherwood triart delivered. After all when the dust settles this is the only expense of the entire wedding that is about yourselves. Everything else is for the guests. I have recommended them to anyone I know getting married and will continue to do so. Thanks for the memories.!

Such professionalism! Such a great experience! We had an afternoon wedding and the team from Sherwood Triart were at my home at 9:00AM. They were fantastic about getting all the wedding shots for the day, prep, getting to the location, first look, ceremony, reception, and the crazy number of family photos (150 person reception, probably 100+ relatives).

These guys even got my "wish list" photos, the ones I left for the end of the night but didn't mention because I wasn't sure we would be able to get to them. They carved out time for them even though I didn't expressly talk about them, only had them on a list of photos. I was really surprised they paid attention and then I realized I shouldn't have been. This company's reputation is well deserved!

Although they cost more than most photographers, Sherwood's photographer and lighting assistant took amazing shots of my wedding. I just got my proofs back and they look absolutely stunning so wait til they do the touch ups! Brian was a wonderful and professional photographer to work with and he knew all the scenic spots of my hall and even my church and my home. They do work with you on the prices but you definitely get what you pay for. I love Sherwood Triart and will be working with them again.

Cannot say enough about how wonderful our photographer Brian was! He took all the shots I wanted and was so patient. (We have a rowdy family/friends!) We had such an wonderful experience with Sherwood Triart, they captured every detail and emotion of our special day and were a pleasure to deal with and work with. The photographers and assistants that were with us on our wedding day made sure that all of our family photos and portraits went smoothly, they really made taking the photos enjoyable. The images from our wedding are absolutely amazing and the quality of the finished prints and albums are unbelievable. When our family and friends come to visit our home and get to look at the images we have hanging up or our albums we get so many compliments of how beautiful they are, it is clear that Sherwood puts great pride in the quality of work they put out. I highly recommend this studio and I am looking forward to visiting them again very soon for our maternity photo shoot.

Right off the bat, you should know at Sherwood, you get what you pay and that is stellar service before, during, and after the wedding, and a top-of-the-line end product. Completely worth it!

Kevin and Tony helped us before the wedding with details and such--wonderful to work with, accommodating, knowledgeable and professional.

Our photographers were Brian, Eli (photojournalist), and assistant Sean. The day of the wedding, they were punctual, friendly, efficient. Absolutely worth every penny to have someone experienced and "on it" on our day. I was pleased with the raw photos. The poses were natural--none of the photos were over or under exposed. The touch-ups were spot on. The photographers even remembered to take a shot I requested a while before the ceremony.

Two weeks later we had our proofs. Unfortunately, we had to wait a few months for out-of-state parents to pick photos for their album, but I highly recommend couples return with the photos they want ASAP! After, we picked content, layout, etc. Sherwood even allowed us to include two photos taken by a friend that we really wanted included.

After two years, we picked up our album. Technically, it would be 17 months, but like I said, we had to wait on family for the proofs. I know some people say this is too long, but I have found 2 years is the average from friends I have spoken to who have used other studios.

The album was FANTASTIC! Our families loved it as well. We could not be more pleased with the quality of work and the process.

Sherwood Triart Photography completely blew me away from the minute I walked in their studio. I was looking for photographs that would be different than the cookie cutter photography most companies provide. Our prints came out amazing from our engagement photos to our wedding photos. There is not one thing I would change and I would absolutely use them again in the future for family portraits etc.

While they tend to be on the higher side than other photography companies, the photography vendor was most important to me. I am thrilled with my decision and wouldn't change one thing about them.

AMAZING!!! We was so happy from start to finish! This place is very professional! We could not have asked for better! Chris was our photographer and his work is amazing! If you like non traditional photos as well as traditional ...he is your guy! We got married on May 25th 2013 and just got our proofs back yesterday (2 weeks)! I have heard horror stories about turnaround times with photos but they blew it out of the water! I am beyond happy with choosing Sherwood Triart as our photographers. How can you complain about perfection? Sherwood-Triart’s quality, service, and professionalism are top notch.

I got married in November of 2011. Brian and his crew were amazing. I really don’t like taking pictures, but they made the process painless and fun! Needless to say the pictures came out amazing, and that’s just the proofs.

I took my time going through the 1600 pictures they took, and at each step of the way Tony and his staff were there for me. They spent countless hours going through proofs with me, and answering my every last question. Also, they have been incredibly flexible with the initial package I purchased. I have made several changes within the package- no questions asked.

The reason it takes time to get your album is because the pictures go through a major process. Every single picture is retouched and enhanced. Designing a unique personalized wedding album does not happen overnight. You have your entire life to enjoy the album, what’s the rush? If you want a cookie cutter album overnight – this is not the photographer for you.

I hate to be photographed and so does my husband, but these guys brought us out of our shells and made us truly enjoy being photographed. Brian shot both our engagement photos and wedding, and we LOVED him. He interacted with us; our families; and our guests in a way that allowed us to have fun, yet capture our special day, moment by moment, and with class and precision. They are worth the money for the most special day of your life!!!!! Keith was Brian's assistant, who made me laugh all day and forget all about the stress of our big day. I absolutely recommend them, and ask for Brian!!!!!!! He was the BEST!!!!

I loved Sherwood Triart. They were the perfect match for my wedding. I had heard that only Brett Matthews topped them so I went to both vendors. Both studios were nice and both had professional staff. I wanted upscale without the snobbery and Sherwood was the one that accomplished that hands down. From the planning with Kevin and Tony to the execution on our big day with Brian and Keith, I couldn't have wished for better. I just picked up my proofs today and I love them. I think my dad and husband thought I had overpaid but in truth I don't regret a single cent.
Brian and Keith helped keep me calm and had the whole wedding party feeling at ease. His ideas were creative and not overdone. I can't speak for the other photographers but if Brian represents Sherwood then the whole company deserves an A+. Love them! Will be back for photos as our family grows.

We just got married May 5th, and I am glad we chose Sherwood Tri Art. They are definitively not the cheapest, but they are the BEST, and it is that one day that you need everything to go absolutely perfect.
We had a very long day the photo shoot started at 12:30 at the hotel I was and our photographer were more than happy to accommodate all our needs and go with us for all the location we needed. They are amazing the picture quality is amazing, If you are shopping for photographer for your wedding day GO WITH SHERWOOD.

Sherwood was extremely professional and great to work with. Their work is amazing! One of the more expensive photopgraphers out there, but you definately pay for what you get. Would recommend them to anyone.

Photography was one of the vendors that we were most excited about. Sherwood Triart not only has amazing work-product, but the staff is also friendly and very professional. We were very happy with our photographer Karen and we cannot wait to see all of our proofs! We know that we will have a hard time choosing from all of the amazing pictures.

I really enjoyed working with Sherwood My photographer was amazing She was working on a really tight schedule and was so calm. she actually help to keep me calm and relaxed. She showed me some pictures which looked amazing. She worked fast to ensure I could enjoy my reception and also was very receptive to any ideas I had. She was truly amazing. My Videographer was amazing. He managed to stay invisible throughout the ceremony and reception. He was very professional. I truly enjoyed their services...I remember during the reception thinking where is my photographer and videographer only to see in all the pictures family and friends sent me they were in spots where they wouldn't stand out capturing every moment. I strongly recommed using their service they were amazing!!!! I am very very pleased!!

Sherwood-triart provided photography services for my wedding and the company was exceptional. I received their basic package and they provided great quality photos, beautiful albums, and a variety of portraits. I would definitely use them in the future. Additionally, as an out-of-state bride from Maryland, I found Sherwood-Triart to be very accomodating in scheduling my album design session around my visits to NY and I was very happy with the final product!

Our photographer, Karen, was phenomenal! She made everyone feel comfortable and met all of our requests. We did not miss one moment of our wedding to take pictures and that is so important. I would highly recommend using Sherwood Tri-art!

I haven't seen the video yet, but was very happy with Sherwood Triart. The photographer and videographer and the assistants were very professional. Earl was great to deal with, also!

My photographer and videographer did a fabulous job at on my wedding day. They were very professional and calm despite my very large family and 300 guests! They were accommodating with last minute add-ons and changes as well. My husband and I would recommend this venue to everyone!

We just had our wedding this past weekend and granted we havent seen our photos yet but i was very impressed with the quality of service i got from our photographer, Brian. He was incredibly professional, courteous, sweet and made us all feel at ease. He wore a tux the whole day, even in the incessant heat outside, and i dont think i ever saw him sit down or take a break.
He was even patient with my little nieces who were flower girls, and were not cooperating at all. I think he was very creative with the photo settings, and was constantly asking me if there was anythign else that i wanted photos of that he wasnt capturing. I think this was very nice and a lot of photographers wont give you that.
My only issue with Sherwood triart was that when we tried to schedule our engagement shoot prior to our wedding, they were not the quickest to respond or return our call. But when we did eventually do our shoot i was very impressed with the photos (again, by Brian).

Fantastic photographer that we HIGHLY recommend. From the professionalism, responsiveness, quality of work, flexibility--everything was absolutely great. A little on the pricey side but not extreme and hey, you get what you pay for--and you only get one chance to get great pictures on your wedding day.

Our photographer Benny was excellent. Shot the pics we wanted and then some. Did not take us away from the dance floor to take pics. Made us feel comfortable, and he was sincere. Literally almost was run over trying to get the perfect shot of us. Thats dedication. May be a bit pricey, but you are paying for quality. Just take a look at their studio. If you dont see the quality in that then you wont see the quality in anything else they do. Everyone in that studio is professional and courteous. They are on another level when it comes to QUALITY.

While it took well over a year to receive our album from our first design appointment, I am truly in love with the final product! The quality of the photos were amazing, and they caught some really great moments over the day. I highly recommend having two photographers, one for traditional shots, and one for candids.

Love love love my pictures. Everyone told me I had the prettiest album they had ever seen. My photographer was a little eccentric and some from my wedding party found her annoying but I liked her.

Brian and Keith did our wedding and we absolutely adored them. They were fun and willing to do all of our crazy photo requests with our bridal party, they were totally funny and easy going, and they were wonderful in terms of helping us pose and look fab in photos. We can't wait to see them!

Sherwood has beautiful photos and very professional photographers. They have options for a formal photographer, a "photo journalistic" photographer who focusses on candids, or both. We had both at our wedding and enjoyed the flexibility we got from the photo journalist while still getting the classic wedding photos from the other.

Our only problem with Sherwood has been that we don't live in NY and it has been a problem to schedule an album session with them around our time in NY. They are typically booked for these sessions 3 months in advance. After several attempts we finally have an appointment for the week of Thanksgiving and our wedding was last Christmas. This is partially our fault for not planning trips to NY far enough in advance but I wish they had a way to accomodate customers like us.

Sherwood Triart was a pleasure to work with. We ended up with some fabulous photographs that we will treasure forever. They were expensive, but the pictures were well worth it. We were a little disappointed with the quality of the video- but overall they did a nice job. And they've been incredibly helpful since the wedding. Their customer service is wonderful.

The Final Product

Used them for my wedding. The quality is great but that’s when and if you actually receive what you paid for. My wedding video has never been received. I have called NUMEROUS times and no response. I was told it would be ready before the holidays which is more then a year after we sat down with them. Then no one called and I called continuously in January this year. Nothing. I can’t even tell you how many times I called. Now no one answers or returns my calls. Pretty sure they lost my wedding video. Ok, so be professional and answer my call or return it. Oh and by the way my wedding was almost 5 years ago. Just very disappointed in the treatment.

I have updated my review. We have finally received our video.. Like I had said the outcome of the work is great. Our video was awesome! Because of the wait Kevin actually hand delivered it to us which went a long way for us. We are extremely happy with the results.

Not that impressed. Great photography in studio but the photogropher showed the day of the wedding, casually dressed. Did not focus on important shots or try to make sure the poses were flattering. I think that you can do better for the money. Not getting your negatives is a downer.

This is a very expensive vendor and for the price, the service should be improved by 100%.

They are nice enough in the beginning of the process when they are selling you the packages, and our photographer was great during the wedding and very pleasant to be around. It's after the wedding that the headaches begin.

Album layout appointments can only be scheduled on Thursdays from 2 - 6 PM or something ridiculous like that. Come on guys, those are working hours for most people, and it's not easy for your NYC customers to get there without taking a day off!

While they may tell you it takes about a year to get your album, in reality it takes 2 years. And the standard deal is that you don't get your digital photos until you get your album, so think about it - you can't see or share any of your photos with friends and family until 2 years after the wedding. Does that make any sense? They say it's to protect their intellectual property, but if you had already paid for the album, what difference does it make WHEN you get your digital files?

Only after endless phone calls from my husband (when I called, they didn't react at all) were we able to get our digital photos 16 months after the wedding and our final album 3 months after that.

Overall, the photos were nice and the album turned out beautifully (which is what all reviewers agree on), but I don't think it's worth the 2-year headache and the money when there are so many other talented photographers out there. Sherwood has to realize that they are in the customer services business, too, and until they do, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone planning their wedding.

I have been waiting to write this review until we received our wedding album. Well it's been almost two years and we finally recieved it!

They were really nice in the beggining when we were shopping for photographers, the presentation and the photography around the studio and albums they display were amazing making us believe this is the quality we will be getting.

The wedding day arrived and we were excited to have them capture our wedding, the photographer and assistant showed up, they were slow, didn't pay attention to details (barely took any full body images...), no creativity (the bridal party had to recommend all the poses) and the mothers had to push the photographers to capture the wedding.

After the wedding we were hoping to receive our digital CD (that we paid an additional $200) to share the photos with our family and friends, however S&T would not release the prints until album is completed (aka > 1.5 years later).

Once they were ready for the album design they make you wait another 3 months before the next available appointment (which has to be made during working hours), and then at least 12 months for the album completion if your lucky. They just edit the photo color and minimal cropping. There is no creativity that is involved in the album as was promised originally. the background is a plain white, black, purple, green, gray (pick a color...).

Once the bride realized that we were not receiving the CD, albums, pictures for an unspecified time, parents were aggravated over the situation, the studio already got paid, and we had no other option than wait it out she started crying in the studio. She was so frustrated/upset that the rest of the contact had to be through the groom. We kept calling almost biweekly for status updates which all we received we round arounds...

In summary, biggest mistake!! take your money go else where, you can find better service and quality. (read the YELP REVIEWS!!! they are more accurate!)

Dont get me started.. The one poor choice we have made!!!!..This vendor provided photography and videography at my wedding.
We designed our album a year later bc that was availability they had.
Our pictures themselves look no better than the ones my family took on their own. My portrait is blah and washed out looking as well as my other portraits. Just totally unhappy overall. And its a shame bc we had great views and we looked great in the pics, but quality was BAD and color was BAD, we look yelllow in the portraits, When I asked them if they can fix they said ok and I got back the same thing a month later.. Now I am waiting for my parent albums as names were spelled wrong.. so thats another month..i am not married a year and a half and not finished with this place.My advice is to shop around ask your friends.. I would no reccomend this place for your wedding...

My photos and video came out beautiful but they took FOREVER to arrive. I was given the run around every time that I called and constantly revived pitiful excuses for the delay of my photos. They are extremely overriced and only treat you right when they ate seeking your business. Once the contract is signed, everything will change. Don't waste your time. I am quite sure that you can find another photographer that will take beautiful pictures for a fraction of the price and who will work to deliver your pictures when promised, not several months later!

I got married in September 2015. Next month is 3 years I have been married and I still do not have my wedding albums. There is an album for me, one for my parents, and one for my in-laws. When I went to pick them up last fall, the engraving of my wedding date was incorrect on all 3 albums. There was also a white mark on one of the photos that needed to be corrected. I was told it would all be fixed and then given a call. The holidays passed, I had a baby, and was taking care of a newborn and healing, so I had forgotten about it. In the spring I remembered I was still waiting for my albums and realized they never called me. I contacted them end of april 2018 and was informed it was forgotten about. I was told they would get right on it and that they would call me back when ready. It is now august. I am tired of chasing after my albums. Everyone that I know who has gotten married has received their albums within the first year of their marriage. For the price they charge, you would think they would provide the best service around. This is completely unacceptable. Also, my mother in law has passed away. She will never even see the album with the photos she selected. I would like my albums corrected and given to me immediately and a refund for the album that was supposed to be for my mother in law. I refuse to call them any further. They can speak to the Better Business Bureau since I just filed a complaint.

Took three years to get pictures back, went multiple months without hearing anything. Over priced, slow, don’t go with them. I really think they should be embarrassed for charging as much as they do and taking so long to get a final product.

I can't express my disappointment in this company enough. I would be here all day telling you everything that went wrong, because EVERYTHING went wrong. From the second I signed a contract it was complete chaos. Anthony who has "closed the deal" magically disappeared and never returned any of my calls or emails. No one thought to check his messages when he left the company. From that point on I knew I had made a pretty expensive mistake but there was no turning back. Brian did our engagement photos and they came out nice, but getting the actually photos was a whole to do. I was told we got the photos on a disc/usb/whatever I was promised and we got one photo printed. That's it. I had asked them to put some on facebook so I could at least share with my friends and family. They posted 13. Other couples got 30+ but I guess we weren't marketable enough to them. That's the least of my concern. I had requested Brian to do our wedding and was told it wasn't a guarantee and that we would be able to meet whoever was assigned our wedding a month out. 3 days before my wedding I get a phone call from some guy who sounded like he had no idea what was even going on. THREE. DAYS. BEFORE. MY. WEDDING. He asked about our families, who was who, what I wanted, blah blah blah. I had mentioned I wanted the first look at our venue and he INSISTED on doing it at the hotel. I told him I wanted a private moment and he basically told me we had to do it there. So being that he was supposed to be the professional, I trusted him. Well, he forgot to tell the videographer, so the one reason I even paid for video, wasn't even videotaped. Not to mention he was RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL and INAPPROPIATE. He made sexual comments towards my bridesmaids about how and where to hold their bouquets, including my 9 year old flower girl. He and the lighting guy argued and were so unorganized it was almost as if they had never worked together a day in their lives. and I ran out of characters to finish my nightmare

BE WARNED! S.T. offers two different types of services. There is the premium service which is where you have lots of money, a private wedding at your home and they actually care about your pics. But if you are like us - just a couple off the street who decided to spend $5k on getting what we thought were the best wedding photos for our NY destination wedding uou WILL NOT GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!

OH - BTW - our wedding was 2.5 yrs ago and to this date (13 Dec 2013) we still haven't received our final wedding album despite paying all of our money up front while we were in NY!

•A poor photographer who took sub-standard photos (most of my guests’ photos were more thoughtful, artistic and in focus!)
•A poorly designed wedding album which we had to get reissued because the team lacked the artistic vision to do anything more than to surround boring photos with neon green and purple borders (on a wedding album!).
•Mis-selling where they showed us albums and pictures on their studio walls representing the quality of the photos we would get and then instead giving just plain vanilla straight shots. If you showed our album as a sample to your potential clients no one would ever use your service.
•Poor admin where notes about our preferences for the album were clearly not written down, conversations saying that we owed you money when we didn’t (yes, you mixed us up with two of your other clients on 2 separate occasions)

We have had many a photographer take pictures for us over the years (from many different countries) and without a doubt, S.T. has produced the worst pictures/albums that we have ever seen. I already know that our album will not be a ‘coffee table’ centre piece because the pictures are so poor.

So if you do decide to go with them make sure that you tell them that you expect an album similar to the one that they will show you and not the cheap and second tier rubbish that they will give you if you're not one of their millionaire clients!

Got married in 9/2010. And today we received our Album!!!!! Today!!!!!
The pictures weren't great at all comparing to the amount we've paid them almost $8,000!!!!!!
My husband's cousin and their friend had used them and also Crest Hollow in Woodbury recommended them and said they were amazing.. Well let me tell you something the worse experience ever!!!!!!!!!
People save your money and time!!!!
The owner finally gave us an answer saying that it will here on Aug 3rd but we couldn't pick it up since we went camping. We came back from camping and decided to go to the studios and pick our album and we didn't call cause we figured it's there. Guess what they didn't have it!!!!! Once they did get it we just told them to mail it to us which we got today! It's going to be 2 years next month and now we freakin receive our Album! So embarrassing!!! And yea we owed them 200 and change cause we wanted to add 6 more pics in our album, so they deducted that!!! But that doesn't substitute for the amount we paid and how long we waited.!!!!!

Do not use these photographers . We have been jerked around continuously with our video . These people are very nice in the beginning and give you a great presentation , you get excited about the pictures and the video . You wont get the video for over a year , and it is not worth anything . The video looks like it was thrown together in two days . After not getting the video after over a year and two months past " the last possible date " they apoligized and said we would have it in two weeks , which we did ... IT SUCKS . To sum it all up take your 7000-12000 bucks somewhere else . Bad service , Bad product . HUGE REGRET !

Disaster! They want me to accept a photo shopped picture of myself and my two children who were my maid of honor and bridal escort.I am an older bride. Second wedding. No pictures of family formally despite asking. They are holding my pictures hostage. No calls returned. I specifically spoke to Dennis to tell him what I wanted a few nights before. they want me to pat over4000 for their mistake. What bride does not have a picture of the maid of honor and bride?And children? DO NOTUseThem.Kevin Tony are all liars and frauds.
