Sherrie is such a sweetheart! She officiated our wedding on March 27th. She communicated well with us from the beginning until the wedding day and provided many options for our ceremony script. Thank God for her for arriving early and reminding us that we need our marriage certificate paperwork before officiating us. Warm and Wonderful Wedding Officient
We were delighted to hire Sherrie Binkley as our wedding officiant for our tiny wedding in Nashville. Sherrie was very organized in terms of our main needs: help with a venue, help with our wedding ceremony, and advice on getting the marriage license. She recommended various park locations for our event (which is what we wanted), and she sent us a variety of sample vows making it easy to personalize our ceremony. She also gave some advice on how to obtain and return the marriage license. When we arrived in town, we were delighted at how professional and warm she was on the phone and the day of the event. Everything was organized and her warm personality was perfect for our special day. She also brought her husband who assisted with taking photos. Thumbs up for Sherrie!

I was having trouble finding an officiant available during the pandemic and luckily I found Sherrie! She was so responsive during the planning process and with COVID still in full force, we facetimed and talked on the phone to iron out the details. Sherrie was my first (and my last) call given her kind attention to warm customer service and willingness to accommodate. We spoke to her by phone earlier that morning with a request to marry us on the same day. Yes, I said THE SAME DAY. We were planning to have the county clerk perform the ceremony only to find out they were not able given the pandemic. Sherrie was perfect for our intimate wedding. Sherrie was flexible for our ever changing schedule lol. Sherrie performed a sweet, traditional Christian ceremony per our request. Sherrie made sure all pertinent marriage documentation was signed and her pricing was reasonable.
Small note that really warmed my heart. My bride and I are Middle Tennessee natives and Sherrie has a Southern charm that is soothing and comforting.

The only officiant you need to call!!
Sherrie was prompt in responding to my emails, especially when we needed to move the wedding up 10 months (lol). She was very accommodating in every aspect. Our wedding was at 9 am on a Sunday, which she had no issue with, and she also had no problem walking through a creek and woods to our ceremony spot. I love her sweet spirit and kind words, and it was an absolute pleasure having her in our home for a little while. You will not regret calling Sherrie!

AMAZING wedding officiant!!
My husband and I live outside of Nashville and had no idea who we wanted as our officiant. We met with Sherrie and loved her immediately! She is caring and genuinely wants the best for us. We did not have a religious ceremony, as we are not religious. Our ceremony was outside (in June) so we wanted it to be short, yet still filled with love. All of our guests were amazed that the ceremony was so short, but if felt real and genuine. Sherrie captured our love and helped us celebrate it with our friends and family. You will be so happy and please with Sherrie as your wedding officiant!

Although Sherrie had another wedding the same weekend as ours, she was very flexible with the timing and was able to make it to our rehearsal and officiated our wedding very calmly and without rushing. We were not disappointed. She responded to every email/question in a timely matter and was super sweet upon meeting her.

Sherrie did a wonderful job and was flexible in doing everything just as we asked! She was loads of help and always quickly responsive. She is willing to do as much or as little as is asked of her. I recommend her to anyone who is in need of an officiant! She was a joy to be around and I am so glad that she was able to marry my husband and I.

Short and sweet!
Sherrie was very professional, available on short notice, and was willing to meet us anywhere we needed her to be. It seems like she definitely would’ve been capable of being part in a much bigger ceremony, but we only needed something quick before our big ceremony where a relative, who was no longer licensed, would preside over. I would recommend her to anyone needing an officiant to preside over their wedding.

Sherrie was very flexible with how we wanted the ceremony performed. She arrived well before the service and made sure we were okay with how the script of the service would be performed. She was also responsive to our emails and met with us in person beforehand to make sure we felt comfortable. Overall, a great experience.

Amazing!! Thoughtful and accommodating
Sherrie officiated our wedding at Opryland Resort. She was absolutely wonderful! She was open to our slightly non-traditional ceremony, and met us beforehand to discuss our ceremony and vows. Sherrie was absolutely wonderful! She really helped us so much with giving us options on wording/order for the ceremony but let us decide on every bit of it so it was exactly the ceremony we wanted. We met early on and then emailed back and forth over the months leading up the wedding while we made decisions. She came both to the rehearsal and the ceremony. She is a warm, caring person, and she is very professional. We could not have asked for a better person to officiate our wedding. I would highly recommend Sherrie to all of my friends and family.

Sherrie was so easy to work with, she emailed samples of ceremony scripts but was also completely open to my suggestions/reworked script I sent her to use. Sherrie worked with us to make sure that we had a unique and truly "us" ceremony. She was flexible and accommodating even when we weren't sure if we wanted to do our own vows or not (we opted not to and she was great with rolling with that). She also helped us organize and word a ring warming ceremony that a friend of ours officiated with Sherrie's guidance. Sherrie was also quick to respond to any questions we had, and provided us a great jumping off point for our ceremony. We actually ended up adapting it very little because it was exactly what we were looking for. We whole-heartedly recommend Sherrie Binkley for your officiant!

Sherrie was AMAZING!! She responded promptly to my emails as we ever spoke over the phone. She attended my rehearsal and quickly went over everything and helped us with a few last minute details we were struggling with. The day of the wedding she was plenty early and I had actually changed my mind and decided to go a different route than what we had discussed at rehearsal and she was totally accepting of my decision. Everything went so smoothly and I absolutely loved her! She moved along smoothly and quickly and we were married in no time! She also took care of all of our paperwork! Sherrie is very polite and punctual and did such a wonderful job officiating me and my wife's and wedding. With a calm and peaceful disposition she is very professional and I always received prompt responses from her during correspondence. I wish I could give five extra stars for flexibility, as we had our wedding at the ridiculous hour of 5am in the middle of a cow pasture -- Sherrie was on-time and never voiced any sort of inconvenience regarding the early hour, which I experienced when communicating with other officiants. I highly recommend her and know she will do a wonderful job officiating your wedding!

Sherrie really helped my husband and I out when no one else would. Her understanding and flexibility were such a relief for a stressed out bride on such a short notice. She truly is the definition of a kind hearted person. We had her write the whole ceremony including our vows, she made everything personal to us and fine-tuned everything without questioning. The mixture of traditional and non-traditional she meshed together was more than I could ask for. She arrived at our venue with plenty of time to meet us and have a little prep time. Sherry officiated our secular ceremony this last weekend! We booked her last year but when we pushed the date back a year, she was very gracious and understanding. Sherry helped us perform a beautiful handfasting ceremony that we did for the first time with her during the ceremony and it went perfectly and the guests loved it! She allowed me to have her perform a ceremony that we put together ourselves and then we said our own individual vows for the first time to each other during the ceremony. All of our guests were in awe and said it was beautiful! We were so grateful for Sherry's part in our special day and willingness to work with our unique style. It was perfect!

Through WeddingWire I sent out a frazzled message six months before my wedding desperate to find an officiant because I felt overwhelmed with the planning process at that point and felt like I was running out of time. Instead of an email, Sherrie called me. Listening to her voice and to how she chose her words I knew everything was going to be okay. She instantly put me at ease and when we met her in person that feeling was still there. Using examples that she gave us, my then fiance and I crafted our ceremony but there was one part we just didn't know what to do with. At the rehearsal we ran through everything and left that part up to her so the first time we heard it was at the wedding. Her wording was perfect. I could not be happier with Sherrie. She did an amazing job and I just can't say enough good things about her. For the level of contact, guidance, and genuine joy she shares with you she is beyond worth her price. It was truly a blessing to have her as part of our day.

I would definitely recommend Sherrie. She met with us one on one and was very helpful in helping us decide what we wanted out of our ceremony. She shared several ceremonies she has done and I was able to pick and choose from them as well as add some of my own things in order to have a custom ceremony for my wedding. It was great. I looked around and called several officiants and she was also the lowest price I found, I definitely got my moneys worth. She was great and I would use her again, though I don't expect I'll need too. :-)

Sherrie was a God Sent, we looked for over 4 weeks for someone to do a Christian simple ceremony for us not very far from our TN home. Well not only did she agree to do it she worked with us when the date had to be changed and the place to have it changed due to weather. Her ceremony was beautiful and afterwards she joined us for a celebration dinner. What a wonderful person, she did NOT have to drive over an hour to meet us half way but she cared enough to do so. she deserves 10+ stars and we will always remember what a kind caring person she was and what a wonderful day she gave to us.

Sherrie was an absolute pleasure to work with! Since we live in the Nashville area, we were able to meet her in her home, in person, to talk about our ceremony. She offered a number of options as a base, and then she allowed us to incorporate our own bits into the reading. We provided her excerpts from our favorite books, and she seamlessly added them into the flow of the ceremony. Sherrie was always responsive via e-mail. She was also early to the ceremony so we could take care of the required paperwork in a timely fashion before it started. We loved working with Sherrie!

Sherrie Binkley was wonderful at our wedding. I'd never met her in person. I only spoke once on the phone and several times by email. She turned out to be everything we wanted in an officiant. She was professional, sweet, sincere, and caring. It felt like we had known her for years and that a dear friend was officiating our wedding. She sent us samples of vows, and we didn't have to change one single word. We received so many compliments on the sweet nature of our vows and the professionalism of our officiant. Highly recommend Sherrie.

Mrs. Binkley was a wonderful officiant! She helped us customize our ceremony and vows until they were perfect. We live out of town and were only able to meet with her once before the wedding, but she was able to made us feel very comfortable.

There are not enough stars on this page to describe our experience with Sherrie. She was wonderful and provided a professional & personal touch that made our day unforgettable. Sherrie took the time over several months to get to know and understand our story and incorporated it into our ceremony. We feel that not only did we find an amazing officiant but also a friend for life.

Mrs. Binkley did an outstanding job officiating our wedding. She was so nice and easy to work with. The ceremony that she had planned for us was perfect. It flowed wonderfully. I will definitely recommend her to anyone that i know thats getting married. Thank you so much for helping make our wedding day special.

Sherrie was an absolute delight and the perfect officiant for our ceremony. She created a beautiful ceremony that was tailored to us and seemed to fit our personalities beautifully. Her manner is so kind and sweet that a few hours after meeting her, you almost feel like she's been family or friend for years. Friendly, flexible, and affordable. We wanted a short clutter free ceremony that was still meaningful and she delivered. Always attentive and quick to respond to phone calls and e-mails.
