  Awesome Venue

  The venue is absolutely beautiful and the personality of the owners/family is just as beautiful. They are so accommodating, easy-going, and sweet. Couldn't have stumbled upon a better place. I love you Sherman Valley!

  I can NOT say enough about this venue and the owners that operate it. First of all, it is absolutely, stunningly GORGEOUS. Beautiful grounds with woods, meadows, a pond and stream, the ornate (pre-decorated) barn, pastures, animals...and OMG that foot bridge! When we pulled in, even though it was February and very "winter" still, we were blown away by the beauty. We were embarassingly late for our tour due to traffic, but Pam was so flexible and accommodating. And that never stopped throughout the whole process. Every single thing I asked from her, she was beyond helpful with. She provided information (way above and beyond what would be expected from a venue), gave me insight, allowed me to schedule and then reschedule engagement pictures several times in order to get good weather, and literally opened up her home in order to make my day perfect. They offer so much for the price. Leaps and bounds more than any other venue we checked out. You can tell they take pride in the weddings they host and want to make sure every couple has their fairy tale day.

  Even though we did not end up choosing this venue, we would definitely recommend it to people. The owner was very nice and professional and happy to show us around. The venue is absolutely beautiful and leaves so much room to make it your own with decorations. It has a very laid back and relaxed feel and if you want to be super casual, there is a camping option for the weekend. The price is actually $2,000 and if you would like to use the farm house for the day it gets bumped up to $2,500; that is way better than anywhere else we looked at. We saw a total of 9 venues and it was a truly hard decision, with this venue at the top. We felt very welcome upon our visit and it was hard to turn it away. The only reason we decided against it, is because I have a very demanding job and the place we picked is mostly decorated already. It was of no fault of Sherman Valley Ranch that we didn't pick them. If you want a barn venue, this place will not be a waste of your time to at least visit!
