Rustic, yet modern.

Tennille and staff were absolutely amazing from day one. Answered every questions we had and then some. The venue is absolutely beautiful indoors and out and requires very little in decor. We used Tennille and Micah as our day of coordinators as well, and couldn't have chosen better. I trusted them completely and they pulled it off without any issues! We highly recommend them!

Wedding Venue

Shenandoah Mill was a beautiful venue. Tennille was so helpful and so responsive to help make our day incredible. We were able to bring in all of our own vendors and make the day exactly how we wanted with little to no restrictions. I would recommend this venue to EVERYONE! The courtyard area made for a perfect area for yard games and fun. They also offer vendors like florists which I would also highly recommend!

Perfect venue for our Brunch Wedding

Patrick and his family at Shenandoah Mill made our dream of having a brunch wedding there a dream. We wanted something non-traditional and they took the idea and ran with it. The provided great service and the location was exactly what we were envisioning. We booked almost 2 years in advance and it was worth the wait. Patrick was our DJ as well and he did an incredible job. Thank you for making our dream wedding a reality.

Beautiful venue! Country charm, yet elegant. Everything was perfect. Vendors are welcome and comfortable working at this venue. Owners are down to earth and organized having everything ready as needed for the big day. Reasonably priced and helpful.

Our wedding was AMAZING at Shenandoah Mill, my husband made a perfect choice! The venue alone speaks for itself, the whole rustic, backyard, vintage feel is absolutely gorgeous! I was in awe when I first saw this place and couldn't stop thinking about it. The budget we had worked perfectly and we were able to bring in our own vendors to help with the cost as well. We were very pleased with working with everyone at Shenandoah Mill, Patrick was our main contact person and although his personality was more direct and fast paced...I didn't mind that at all. I thought he was awesome, he responded to questions we had efficiently and when our catering vendor (A Savory Affair) "Chef Tim" lacked his professionalism and backed out without notice a month before our wedding...Patrick saved the day and gave us another catering vendor that did an impeccable job! So I really don't have any complaints about him or the rest of the staff/owners, they were wonderful to work with. As far as setting up and prepping the venue for our wedding day, it was PERFECT! We were one HAPPY couple & that loved every detail and would not have changed anything. Thank you Shenandoah Mill for everything! :)

We renewed our vows at Shenandoah Mill in June and I am so happy that we chose this venue!! Working with Patrick was great, he was so easy going. The grounds are Beautiful as is inside the venue. My family could not stop raving about Shenandoah Mill!! It is a Beautiful place with friendly owners, I would definitely use them for other events and rexxomend them to anyone!

We wanted a small and elegant wedding that reflected our individuality. Patrick and the team at Shenandoah Mill went above and beyond to make our wedding just that. The venue itself is beautiful and so well maintained. The setting can be reconfigured to suit any theme from county to chic. The facilities make for excellent photographs that preserve your memories of your special day. We selected one of the "packages" that ShenandoahMill offers and then were able to upgrade it to fit exactly what we dreamed of. On the day of the wedding staff at Shenandoah Mill did everything possible to ensure that our day was perfect. Music, flowers, food and hosting the event were absolutely spot on with our wishes. I have rcommended this venue to many people looking for a place that is "special". THe folks a Shenandoah Mill really care!

Wow! This place was the complete package, no joke! The place itself had a historical feel to it, words cant even describe... it really made my day special! Even my in-laws were impressed and thats not easy to do! I especially loved working with Patrick, he was very insightful, and patient with all my demands, lol! It wouldn't have worked without him. Not to mention how awesome the photographer, Micah was! I believe that she is Patrick's sister! Her service was offered with the package, and she was fantastic as well, my pictures turned out flawless! They even had this cool thing called a photobooth? I had no idea things like that existed, lol... they had everything!! They just made my day so spectacular, I recommend this place over any place else!! Thanks again, Patrick, Micah, you guys are thee absolute best!

This was the BEST decision I've ever made, well as far as Wedding venues is concerned, haha! The cleanliness, the feel, the style, all of it was top of the line. The owner, Patrick Riedlinger was so pleasant and interested in knowing what I wanted, and how I wanted my wedding day to play out, I wouldn't change a thing! This truly is the best place for the ambiance and overall quality, and you can't beat the price for what you get! Thanks, Patrick, Shenandoah Mill, I'll be sendin' all my girls your way!!

This place was perfect. We had a morning wedding and the light in the mill made for gorgeous clear photos. The staff is great, the owners are wonderful. I really cannot say enough to justify how happy I am I chose The Mill as our venue.

The owners were so helpful and easy to work with. They available at all times for any of my questions or concerns. They are one of the reasons my daughter was able to have a beautiful wedding at a very affordable price. All my quests kept telling me how they loved they venue and how beautiful it was. Let me start by saying that this venue is amazing, and so very authentic. It's got a beautiful water wheel with very unique mill stones. But wait till you see the landscaping, and the total transformation of the beautiful lighting on the walkways. The Shenandoah Mill staff was great and family oriented. I can't forget that they were by far the most reasonable venue we had looked at. Thanks Shenandoah Mill for making our night one to remember!

Originally, we were going to have our reception in our back yard, but due to weather, had to make a last minute change. These guys bent over backwards and didn't even over charge us like they easily could have. This place has the whole package = less stress for you!

First off, I would like to say how much we appreciate all the help that Patrick gave to us planning our wedding. My husband and I have very different schedules and he was willing to meet with us at odd hours to go over our setup. The venue is beautiful and clean. The whole staff makes you feel special and sets everything up just like you dream. We loved the natural setting inside and out and didn't need much decoration. We would recommend this venue to anyone that doesn't need room for over 100 guests. Very intimate inside and you still have the patio and the grounds to move about. I can't stress enough how smoothly everything went and for a bride, a stress FREE day is a blessing! Thank you again. Words are not enough!

I guess Patrick has come along way since the other reviews because I had none of these issues. We had come to look at the venue on more than one occasion, we were offered the extras, although had all our own. Not many places allow you to bring all your own vendors. They set up beautifully (with tables, chairs, outdoor chairs, all included) and cleaned up afterward. They had a woman (sorry I forgot your name) there during the whole event if you needed anything extra, or help with things (like she helped our photographer). The facility is beautiful. The girls dressing area is PERFECT, with 3 way mirror, bathroom, makeup dressing table, hangers to hang dresses, etc. The kitchen is functionable. the tables are set up nicely, with seperate tables for buffet, cake, wedding party and gifts. The porches for people to enjoy the beautiful weather are great, and the outdoor area for the wedding is perfect setting in the back so afternoon weddings are not directly in the sun. The parking is LARGE! and they have room on the side to park cars to load items such as the bar or food. All in all this is a perfectly priced venue and a perfect place to have a wedding. We as well got a great deal on price as our event was during the week.

Our wedding at Shenandoah Mill was Amazing!!! There are some mixed reviews on here and I caught myself wondering months before the wedding if this venue would be a good fit for us and it turns out it absolutely was! The building itself is stunning and comfortably accommodates 100+ people with plenty of space indoors and out. The rustic atmosphere and history of the building make for a beautiful ceremony and reception.
Regarding the management, Patrick helped us make our day as awesome as it was. Some of the reviews reflect negatively on him, but it all comes down to the approach. Patrick can come across as blunt and doesn’t sugar coat anything, but he is very laid back and gave us many great ideas that we incorporated into the wedding. You can tell that he knows exactly what he's doing and what will flow great on your wedding day. He will help you and make sure that you have what you need, however don’t go into the planning process expecting a hand-holding wedding planner. My husband and I are pretty easy going and Patrick’s method to planning worked perfect for us. We had a lot of freedom over the whole experience and were able to create a very unique and fun wedding with his help. I would recommend you keep record of your payments as I did get asked when I would be making a payment when I already had - however once I showed proof of the transaction (which you should keep regardless) everything was fine. I would HIGHLY recommend you use Patrick as your DJ, even though they allow you to choose your own vendors. He was so great with our guests, keeping them entertained and making sure everything was running on time. He incorporates the wedding couple and guests with different games and interactions, plus he knows how to create great energy on the dance floor! I’ve had so many compliments from friends and family saying that it was one of if not the most fun they’ve ever had at a wedding. Thank you Patrick!

Shenandoah Mill was absolutely beautiful and perfect for my day! They were flexible and professional! I will say the one thing I didn't like is that they had extras* such as the fun rustic centerpieces that they know you want but those are an extra charge, they're not included in your $4,900 you paid to use the venue...I did not like that at all. And they will only set up the inside OR outside even though your paying $5k they can't put a few table cloths on the tables for you inside too...I wasn't happy about that either. Everything else besides the little things was great!

We had a BEAUTIFUL wedding at Shenandoah Mill. The wedding itself actually could not have gone better. It was perfect in every aspect! All the details we discussed with Patrick came together just the way we had imagined. Patrick definitely has a different communication style, but I don't think it's a bad thing. He is very laid back and sometimes it can feel like he is not taking your comments/plans seriously. But I can guarantee you he does. He is fast to respond to emails and will answer any questions you have. He is also an EXCELLENT DJ! Very, very good at keeping the crowd energized and on the dance floor. All our wedding guests are still talking about how fun and absolutely beautiful our wedding was. Thank you SO much Patrick and family for helping make our wedding day the best day of our lives!

Shenandoah Mill was the perfect place for my lower budget wedding. It had a beautiful outdoor area for the ceremony and a picture-perfect rustic interior for the reception. I used their DJ service as well and it came together beautifully! The wedding looked like a million bucks, but was within my price-range. Glad I chose this venue. :-)

I read the reviews before meeting Patrick and I admit, I was a little weary. But the venue is absolutely stunning and definitely fit our personalities and the vibe we wanted for our wedding. I read some people complaining about Patrick’s professionalism, but to be honest – I didn’t mind his laid back approach. He’s definitely not in your face or coddling you through the planning process. He’s very quick to respond to e-mails, but does it over his phone so his answers are a little short. But I’ll take quick responses over long-winded, day late answers! Once you finally meet with him or one of the venue owners for the wedding day planning, they’re very good! They had suggestions and were very good with accommodating for our inflating guest count.

I mainly interacted with Patrick and I thought he was good. I had to adjust my communication style, but I was fine with that. My husband had some interaction with the owners the day of the wedding and said they were trying to help, but he didn’t need it. They had a few interesting questions about some items we had, but it was cleared up.

One thing that was misleading was that on their Web site it said that the price included patio heaters, but the owner told me during the planning process that there was an additional charge to use them.

Overall, we had a great wedding and all our guests were impressed with the venue! Thanks Patrick!!

Everyone at Shenandoah Mill was pleasant and easy to work with. Patrick and his family made our special day everything we could have hoped for! They were very accommodating of my many (and very detailed) questions when we were deciding to book with them, and they never made us feel "cheap" for asking questions about pricing, adjustments to their packages, etc. I was convinced that I could consolidate my own vendors at a more affordable cost than their inclusive packages, but after weeks of calling around to get quotes and information from caterers, photographers, and florists, I quickly found out that I was mistaken. After I gave in, I realized their inclusive packages make everything so easy and are actually a bargain for the quality of services you receive! We have received so many compliments on how fun and well organized our wedding was and how amazing DJ Patrick was and his photo booth tech Spencer. Patrick's sister Micah provided an amazing photographs and book for us to hold on to for a lifetime. We are so happy we had such a wonderful venue to celebrate our wedding at - thank you! We recently had our wedding at Shenandoah Mill in Gilbert. I liked it initially, because we could use outside vendors for food, flowers, etc. This option helped us keep our cost down for the wedding. The price for the day was a little high, and we had to payfor extra hours so that we would have enough time to decorate everything..but, the place is beautiful and everything looked great! All of our guests loved the venue too. There was pleanty of room for our 150 guests, inside and out. Patrick was great, quick to respond to my texts and emails, and he is a great DJ. He kept everyone dancing and having fun throughout the night. He was flexible with our schedule, as we ran a little late starting the ceremony, and when we mixed up our nightly "events", he went with it and was great!! I gave him song requests and artists we liked, and he didnt play one crappy song all night. We purchased their photobooth for the night too, and his brother was the attendant, whom was awesome as well. Guests LOVED the photobooth and it kept everyone entertained! Totally worth the $$, which, was actually way cheaper then other companies around Phoenix area. Its a great, beautiful, big venue, but if you choose another place, you can still hire Patrick as your DJ and hire the photobooth as well! Highly recommend both!

This venue is beautiful, the only thing I might warn you about them, is wedding rehearsal time, they are not that flexible. Everything else was great!

Great spot for our wedding. A little expensive for just renting the venue, tables and chairs.

Before we booked Shenandoah we had read some reviews that mentioned that Patrick was difficult to work with and I see where people are coming from but if you’re nice he’s nice! Shenandoah was a great deal, the space is beautiful, and they’re pretty flexible!

I am so glad I chose Shenandoah Mill as our wedding venue! They have open houses every Saturday, which allowed us to go see the venue several times throughout our planning process. It is family owned and operated, which is amazing. They all work together and are there to answer any questions. They are flexible and allow you to use your own vendors. However, they do have preferred vendors and offer packages where you can get your dining ware and decor through them. This venue is stunning. I'm talking exposed wood, lace curtains, and twinkle lights outside. If you're considering this venue, seriously go see it you will fall in love!

What an incredible venue! I got married here last year, and my best friend just got married there as well. If you're looking for a fun time, on a great budget, this is definitely the place to book. Most of our coordinating was done with Patrick, who is also the Mill's DJ. If you ever hire a DJ, he is the one. He was entertaining, prompt, and professional. He kept a tight schedule and made sure there was no "dead air." The guests were lively and enjoyed the whole night.

Shenandoah Mill offers flexible packages, so be sure to ask about everything that is and is not included. We decided to go with a different photographer that was offered, but everything else was included in our package cost.

I highly recommend this venue, and look forward to any future events I get to attend there.

Absolutely AMAZING!! This place is affordable and elegant. If you love a rustic venue look no further!!! We could not have been more pleased with the way everything turned out and could not have picked a better place to have our special day!

This venue is a lot large in person and more beautiful then what the pictures show. I was blown away at just how gorgeous it was.

Loved the venue and the flexibility (can bring in any outside vendors that you want) however patrick the owners son, who you will do all of your reservations through, was very unatentive and was really only concerned with his DJ buisness. His dad and mom however were great and helpful. would recomend the venue but would also give a fore warning.

All of my wedding guests complimented my beautiful venue choice. The staff was very flexible and let us use our own vendors/caterer which helped when we were on a budget. Communication and professionalism were slightly lacking but the atmosphere and savings made up for it.

The venue is gorgeous, there is no other place to get married in Arizona if you want a country rustic wedding. The accents to the property make for some great wedding photos and I would definitely recommend you use their photographer Micah as she knows the property well and gets great pictures.

My issues with this venue are the people running it. Patrick has no business being the wedding coordinator and should stick to being a DJ. He is far too blunt and has no compassion to be working with brides. Half the time I felt like i was doing his job because he didn't keep track of any of the details that I repeatedly emailed to him. They promise you the world when you sign the contract but then it's like pulling teeth to get them to do more than the bare minimum. Just be prepared brides, you will have to be meticulous with details and follow up constantly. And don't expect warm and fuzzies from anyone you deal with, they really act like they could care less if you get married at their venue.

Location was great. Ample parking in back. Photographer, Micah, was a pleasure to work with, but The D.J, Patrick, was the definite downside. When I attempted to speak to him he walked away. He came across as arrogant, and several of my guests complained after the wedding that there was too much of the D.J talking and not enough music played to dance.

If you wish to use this venue, hire the photographer, she's great. I wouldn't recommend the D.J.

Honestly, we loved our wedding here. It was the style we were looking for, the price point we wanted (it's far less expensive on a weekday!) and offered the flexibility we hope for in terms of using outside vendors. We were really able to make this day everything we had wanted, and our wedding was absolutely flawless! The only reason for the lower rating has to do with the management. I would advise anyone booking here to keep records of your payments (we were told a week out that we hadn't paid yet), and everything in your contract. If you do have any back-and-forth communication, try to do it through email so that there's a record of it. We were a bit nervous about some things the week leading up, but we were lucky enough to have an incredible day-of coordinator and so many absolutely wonderful outside vendors that, if anything did go wrong the day of the event, we didn't even know about it! Our wedding was perfect and we couldn't be happier with where we had it--but would just advise others to keep a good track of their records in order to ensure things go smoothly. If you're looking for a venue with a management team that will walk you through things step-by-step, this isn't the one, but if you're wanting to find your own vendors and do all the planning/decorating, this is such a great and affordable option.

The venue is beautiful and was perfect for the type of wedding I wanted. However working with Patrick was not as great as the venue. His parents, the owners, were great but most of the business is conducted through him. Not the most friendly, professional or enjoyable person to work with. Just be on your toes and make sure to documents all payments for your records.

Great venue, know what you're dealing with

The mill is a gorgeous venue, don't get me wrong. The price is also fabulous, just know that the owner can be very strictl and there is not a lot of wiggle room. Day of everything was perfect, was just a struggle gettif5 there. Was worth it in the end, I couldn't have been happier choosing them and the owners were great on the wedding day.

The overall feel/look of this venue is out of this world, and makes for beautiful photos and a great atmosphere!! The only gripe I have with this venue would be the people running the venue. Patrick (son), Don (father), & the mother (name unknown) are all pretty miserable looking/acting people, who don't have a care in the world if you get married at their venue. Fortunately I knew this going into the whole thing from previous people who got married at Shenandoah, so I knew what to expect, and what not to expect.

Someone told me to make sure I hold on to all receipts because they don't keep track, which I'm glad I did because I was told (a day before the wedding) that I owed them more money...which actually in the end when it was all said and done, they owed ME money...

Another thing someone told me was that the "clean-up" they mention on their price sheet, actually never happens, that the wedding party & parents end up doing all of it, which again I'm glad I knew ahead of time because this also happened to us. The father (Don) told my husband that he needed to roll the trash out to the dumpster before he left...after we spend 30 min cleaning up the venue.

I also spent the $285 for their food service (2 people for 4 hours) PLUS an extra $60 for an extra person for 4 hours to HAND SERVE the appetizers, which ended up being a HUGE disappointment. The people were all miserable, DIDN'T hand serve the appetizers, never brought out any of the appetizers to the wedding party, and then also my dad saw them take away the appetizers 20 min before the reception started, and either threw them away or ate the rest, there was nothing left over.... Just very frustrating to spend extra money and not get the services you should have. My husband and I were hand served dinner, and they barely gave us any food at all; one tiny piece of bread, ONE ravioli, one tiny piece of chicken and very little salad...

Other than these small things, my wedding was beautiful!!!

This is a gorgeous place to have a wedding and reception, but do not expect any help or courtesy from the person who runs the place (Patrick). He is very to the point and just interested in getting your money, he does not care at all about the details or answering questions you may have. Also he will not remember who you are no matter how many times you talk...even if you arrange a meeting to talk with him he won't know who you are. Basically, pretty place but make sure you do not expect anything from the person who runs the place. When I say I recommend this place I am ONLY referring to the venue not the people who "help"

Space is limited, so here is the abridged version:
Had I known how miserable Patrick would make the wedding experience, all the beauty in the venue, would have meant nothing. In one encounter he ranted about how “you people” while pointing to the chair in my direction, apparently meaning the bride, groom, his customers, never listen to anything he says and freak out come the day of. Seconds before, in the middle of our meeting, he had tossed the contract across his office to another of his customers telling her “It’s in the contract, read it”. The unprofessionalism continued, I then brought up that our wedding would have 30+ children. I explained that I was going to have some child care there, but was still a bit concerned about the road by the grass area. I asked if there should be concern. His response, “they’re not my kids, why would I care”. I contemplated on the way home from this miserable meeting, how I could afford changing venues. Had I known how miserable he was, I wish I had never fallen in love and visualized this venue as my wedding. I wasn’t going to allow him, this single angry little man, to ruin my special day.
The day of… I will give Patrick credit for accommodating a last min fix when I saw tables set up incorrectly. However he was his same condescending offensive self to my friends that helped w/ setup. In our previous meeting he requested we have hot boxes for the food to stay warm. I accommodated, all in all, about 5hrs of boiling water, and transport of these boxes. When my friend arrived with them, he wanted nothing to do with them and didn’t use them. The food was cold due to his lazy choice not to use what he himself requested that we provide.
I hope those that read this, read it before falling in love with the venue. It is not worth it. This is not a review from an angry bride unhappy with her wedding. Our wedding was fantastic, but the venue did not attribute to its greatness.

Apparently Patrick is the owner's son, but he handled all the business at my wedding. The first problem was that he made it very clear that he was too busy to let us take tours of the facility or discuss different options for decorating and food. In all of our dealings, he was cold and indifferent, even to the point of throwing a pen towards me across a table when we signed the final agreement. (This was after we had paid the $500 non-refundable down payment.)

There were many options for decorating the tables, but this was only made clear to me the day of the wedding when I was bringing in my own vases for the flowers. He decided to tell me then that he had vases and I could have used them if I had asked. (How was I supposed to know?)

He also talked a lot about a "tulle" package that the brides before me and after me had ordered, and he told me that he would give it to me at a discounted price since it would be already set up. When I refused the offer, he brought it up every time we spoke after, lowering the price each time, but still not yielding to my argument, which was that we had already spent $3,000 and were at the end of our decorating budget. If it had been a hassle for him to take it down and put it back up, I would have gladly let him leave it up, and I offered that to him, but he told me I couldn't have the extras for free.

Due to our budget concerns, we were having friends do all of our extras, (flowers, photography, etc.), and he had offered a large array of extra items that he could personally arrange. We did have to turn him down though because of pricing, so he had discussed with us his desire to have their event photographer trail our photographer for experience, at no cost, and we agreed that we would allow them to do that and use our photos for advertising purposes as long as we would get digital copies, but their photographer never showed up the day of. No big deal really, but communication would have been nice.

The only other bad things are that they didn't allow candles of any kind, no way to attach decorations to the walls or ceilings (like tulle and twinkle lights), and they didn't allow any types of bird seed or rice to throw at the end. I even found some non-toxic, dissolving little hearts at Michael's, and he said they still left a big mess and would not let us use them. We had to do bubbles, which got all over my dress, and it was at night, which didn't show up in the photos at all. Also, the main floor was so filthy that my train was black just from walking from the bride's dressing room to the outside ceremony area.

The positives were that the chairs, tables, and main simple decorations were included in the basic package, and were set up when my people arrived to decorate. Patrick did complete the few requests he hadn't initially denied me with efficiency, like how the room was to be set up for the catering and the cake.

It just seemed like everyone else who I worked with was totally understanding and nice. I had Someburro's cater, and the woman who handled that was professional and sweet, and we were able to politely discuss differences and even though she wasn't able to provide me everything I wanted to the letter, she was respectful and polite and ended up doing a wonderful job. Once we had signed the papers, Patrick really seemed like he had the money and was not interested in customer service at all. Was it because I wouldn't add any of the extras? I don't know. But I always left conversations and meetings with him feeling like he totally could have cared less, and was even a little bit angry. Oh well.

Unprofessional

When I had started planning my wedding at Shenandoah it was a good experience. But due to COVID and not being able to have a wedding during all of this, Patrick continually made excuses, and then only refunded us our last deposit. He is totally unprofessional, and I wouldn’t recommend his venue to anyone!

My son had a wedding here about a month and a half ago. The venue is nice. Patrick took over the entire thing from the ceremony to reception. He ticked off the bride, by making her and my son go out and come back in several times because "their" dance wasn't good enough, this was after us standing outside for about 15 minutes, because he was trying to gear up the crowd which consisted of about 40 people. Patrick had the buffet set up totally different then what was talked about, couldn't even get my son's name right during the reception, and did everything he was asked not to do. Patrick's wife did the flowers and they were brown and wilting when brought to the venue. Patrick wanted to start the wedding early without my husband being there!! On top of that my son paid for the venue to clean but but the two families did it all including taking out the trash, with no offer of help from the staff, even though the couple had paid for the service. It really appeared that Patrick was trying to tick the new couple off. He is a jerk. Don't get confused by his father's nice demeanor, the father just hands it all over to his son, who acts like a royal jerk. There is more to say but not enough space to do so. Save yourself the stress!

Shenandoah Mill was disappointing. Look elsewhere!

My mom is an interior decorator and has a great eye for potential. She saw just that in Shenandoah Mill. When we found out that we could use our own vendors, it seemed like the place was perfect. The price seemed really high for what was provided but we were assured it was worth it by Patrick. I was too excited during the first meeting (which took place during an open house event) to notice the lack of professionalism exhibited by those whom we met with but it soon became apparent throughout our later dealings.

When we asked about how much time we would have for setting up, the answer was foggy. Then Patrick said that we would have to pay $400 per hour extra for decorating. With an already high price for just a venue this was outrageous. With a lot of persuasion, we convinced him to let us decorate outside as long as we wanted but we would only have an hour inside previous to the wedding. Needless to say, my mom gathered as many friends and family to help decorate with such a short amount of time to do it in. There were many pointless complaints to my mom from the owners on the day of the wedding during set up.

Any questions I had were usually left unclear or unanswered; Questions that should have been readily answered such as, “How much are the chair covers for the outdoor chairs?” Instead of a price I got, “I would have to call around & see.” It almost seemed like he expected me to order them without even knowing the price & just pay whatever for it later. Don’t they know that the budget comes first!

***Note: If you put up a negative post about Shenandoah Mills, they will dispute it OVER TWO YEARS LATER to save face. (How convenient that all the negative posts besides mine were deleted.)
