Shelly is an amazing makeup artist and a true professional. Both of my daughters used her for their weddings. From the first wedding to the second, she made the entire wedding party look stunning. She dealt with different skin types to a bridesmaid that rarely wore makeup. In the end, we all looked beautiful. Plus, she’s extremely kind hearted and quite fun to have around while you’re getting ready. Shelly goes above and beyond and even provides a lot of advice on cosmetics that I still use today. Do not hesitate to book her or you will truly lose out on a skilled artist and an extremely nice person that truly cares about your special day.

Shelly did an amazing job. She made my girls and I look gorgeous. I was blown away by wonderful job she did. One of my bridesmaids doesn't ever wear makeup, but Shelly made her comfortable and she looked beautiful. I would recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing makeup artist. -

Shelly and her assistant did such a wonderful job for myself, bridesmaids, and moms! They were a great addition to the group while we got ready. Super friendly and lots of laughs!! Shelly was amazing! She is a complete professional and does an impeccable job. For events I usually wear a more dramatic look; however, for my wedding I wanted to highlight a more natural look. Shelly not only created an amazing look for me, but also for my Mom and the rest of my bridal party. She used unbelievable products, resulting in a long-lasting, flawless look. I can't tell you how many compliments we received. I would recommend her in a heartbeat! -

I cannot say enough great things about Shelly. My makeup was AMAZING and stayed on throughout the entire night's sweat and tears. I had 7 girls total getting their makeup done and a few girls that were planning to do their own. After seeing Shelly's work on the first few ladies, the girls who initially wanted to do their own makeup ended up begging to add on last minute! Shelly was very welcoming with these requests and squeezed them in as fast as possible before the limo arrived. She worked for 5 hours straight and wouldn't take a break until everyone looked flawless! She was wonderful, and would highly recommend her for any event and any style. -

Shelly literally saved the day! My make-up artist cancelled 8 days before my wedding. This was doubly hard as I live in LA and my wedding was in Ohio! Shelly made herself available at the last moment, drove 50 minutes to get to my wedding site, did beautiful make-up on my bridesmaids and me, and was super kind and professional. I am grateful to her! I would recommend her to anyone that needs professional make-up without reservation! And again, she did a fantastic job! We all looked amazing! -

You will not regret booking Shelly Theiling for your wedding day. From the very beginning she was professional, friendly and responded quickly to all my emails and questions. From our practice round(09/08/12) to the wedding day(10/27/12) she made me feel so comfortable. Shelly, also did the makeup for my bridesmaids who all had very different skin complexions and skin colors and that did not faze her at all. She made us all feel and look so beautiful! She is truly a talented women with a kind heart. No matter if it is for a wedding or big event, no matter if you have fair complexion or a darker complexion, Shelly is who you should book as your makeup artist. You will not regret it!!!! Shelly was amazing!!! She was very organized and on top of everything, she responded almost immediately to all of my questions and was very easty to work with. I had five people get their make-up done and she made all of us look stunning!! She really made each one of us look beautiful but different so we all didn't look cloned. She was a pleasure to work with and had a great personality!! I have recommeneded her to anyone who is getting married that I know. NEO ladies - do not wait to book Shelly for your make up. She was AMAZING. She not only did my look for the day, but my bridesmaids and MOB and MOG. She was so much fun to work with and we all LOVED how we looked. Plus, after finishing before 11 in the AM, we all still looked amazing at MIDNIGHT.

Shelly did an awesome job for my Daughter's wedding in June. She took the time with each girl including myself, the mother of the bride, to listen to what eash of us would like but also add constructive ideas. Her relaxed persona helped everyone's anxiety throughout the morning. It was a pleasure to work with her and I think the highest compliment for her were the beautiful comments from friendly and friends. Shelly was referred to me by a makeup artist who cancelled on me 4 days before my wedding. She swooped right in and saved the day, to say the least. Shelly was flexible with her schedule and was able to even fit in a trial with so few days left before my wedding day. She listened to my ideas on the look I wanted and used her expertise and skill to make me look like a glamorous version of my natural self. I couldn't have been happier during the trial or on the wedding day itself. I felt beautiful and comfortable in my own skin and I owe it partially to Shelly. Shelly does amazing work. Not only is she flexible and easy to work with, but she helps everyone feel comfortable and relaxed. In the days leading up to my wedding, Shelly willingly met me at a local MAC store for my trial wedding makeup and patiently tried different ideas and looks until we came up with a great combination that would look best on me. I was thankful that Shelly traveled to a downtown Cleveland hotel for me and set up her makeup in a suite where my bridesmaids and I got ready in on wedding day. Shelly did my wedding makeup, as well as all of my bridesmaids? makeup. Although we were pressed for time, Shelly figured out a way to manage her time to make each girl look amazing and feel beautiful. What I loved about the way Shelly did our makeup was that everyone?s makeup was different and unique, making each girl look her best. It seemed like Shelly really paid attention to each girl, and wanted to enhance their best features. Shelly is a true artist and has a passion for what she does. I cannot thank Shelly enough for making us all look gorgeous and creating such a fun memory for us all to look back on! I only wish I had more events to go to, so that I could have Shelly do my makeup more often. But, when I do, Shelly will definitely be the first person I call! -

This was one of the best value for what I got. It was a but pricey but it is worth every penny. I looked amazing for 16+ hours. Shelly does an amazing job, I highly recommend her to ANYONE. I think this was one of the best investments and it helped make my pictures look great. -

I would recommend Shelly to any bride. I was "iffy" on whether or not to use a professional make-up artist on my wedding day. I am pretty good with my make-up already. I did want something a little different and to feel extra pampered. After speaking to Shelly over the phone, I decided to book myself as well as my mom and sister as a gift to them. All three of us are so pleased! We are still getting compliments on the way we looked that day. Shelly made extra attempt to make sure our make-up would look good in person, in photographs, and would last all night. None of us looked made-up, but rather a more glamorous version of ourselves. My mom and me even wore our eyelashes the rest of the weekend! Shelly is a delight- she is both fun to be with and professional. I loved how she was willing to travel to our location and was very flexible and comfortable while there. It is an added expense to a very expensive day, but WORTH EVERY PENNY. -

Shelly met with me about 6 weeks before my wedding date to do a "trial" and it was then when I knew that Shelly would make me look beautiful on my wedding day. She knew exactly what shades I should wear to complement my coloring and she listened intently to my request that I did not want to look too "made up".
On my wedding day, Shelly traveled to the hotel where I was getting ready with my mom and my bridesmaids and she carefully, artfully and expertly made all of us look absolutely gorgeous! I still get compliments to this day and my wedding was almost 6 months ago! And my mom looked like a movie star (guests came up to her all evening to tell her that :))! Hire Shelly-- she'll make you look and feel amazing on your special day! -

I booked Shelly because of the rave reviews on Wedding Wire, and I have to say that she was worth it. There were a total of 7 people in the bridal party (multi-ethnic) , and everyone looked like themselves but a bit more beautiful. My bridesmaids had some very specific looks in mind, and she accommodated them. She also introduced me to some great products and tips, both during our practice run and the day of. She was very professional, very friendly, very easy to work with. Great choice! -

Very snippy and short. Complained the second meeting her. Work is good, but if you want something done with your makeup, other then what she suggests, expect her to be annoyed. Did not enjoy. -
