We knew we were in capable hands from the moment we engaged her services, but what we received exceeded all expectations.
Throughout the chaos of our wedding day, Shelby seamlessly transitioned between capturing stunning shots and coordinating the flow of events with the finesse of a seasoned artist. Shelby's mastery of soft skills ensured that every interaction with family, friends, and vendors was smooth and filled with friendliness and professionalism.
What truly amazed us was Shelby's instinctual knack for preserving our peace of mind throughout the day. Anticipating our needs before we even voiced them, she guided us through each pose patiently and elegantly. Despite our initial awkwardness in front of the camera, Shelby's gentle direction transformed us into confident subjects, resulting in images that authentically mirrored our love for one another!

Absolutely amazing!
Shelby was phenomenal to work with! SHe was so easy going, works well with husbands that don't like to be photographed, and is diligent in her work. She doesn't waste any time and knows exactly what she's doing. She has creative ideas but also lets you have your creative ideas as well. You are missing out if you don't book her! -

A spontaneous decision to book our wedding ceremony at the courthouse led us to looking for a photographer only a few days in advance. After submitting the contact form, Shelby responded within the hour. She was super awesome to work with leading up to the ceremony and was amazing to work with the day of. She captured the most beautiful photos and I couldn't be more pleased! -

Where do I even begin?! Shelby is the best and soo easy to work with! She knows how to make everyone feel comfortable, relaxed & makes it fun for everyone! She is a must have photographer. I would recommend her for all your photography needs!! We were amazed by all of our pictures and how quickly we got them back. Shelby, went above and beyond for John and I.. we will NEVER be able to thank her enough for putting her entire heart and soul into us whenever she was with us. She absolutely KILLED every shoot we had with her! She always found beautiful ways to capture John and I’s love for eachother and it’s absolutely breathtaking every time. Shelby made the shoots soooo stinking fun and totally not awkward (we both know I am so that’s really difficult to do)!
Our original wedding date was April 18th, but was rescheduled of course, and shelby made that day SO special for John and I. Who’s lucky enough to have a photographer that goes totally out of her way to spend an evening making a bride feel so loved during such an awful pandemic and life altering moment? WE ARE THAT’S WHO.
Really, Shelby we love you with our whole hearts and will forever cherish your friendship and sweet soul. We will continue to work with you until you seriously kick us out 😂😂

Shelby is the perfect photographer. She’s so knowledgeable with posing and will make sure you look your best! She’s so easy going and easy to talk to that it’s impossible to feel uncomfortable in front of the camera. I would highly recommend her to anybody and she was honestly the best decision I made for my wedding. I would choose her every time! -

Shelby is simply INCREDIBLE. I have been following her photos for a while and she always captures the most amazing shots and makes everyone look so naturally beautiful. I always wondered if she could possibly make me and my fiancé look just as amazing. And she totally did. Shelby knew exactly what we wanted in terms of location and style. She took two people that have never posed for photos before and made us feel so comfortable and look so natural. Obsessed with our photos and everyone LOVES them! -

Shelby is AMAZING!!!! You will not be disappointed if you use her as your photographer. She did my engagement photos as well as my wedding photos and there wasn’t a single photo that I didn’t like. My husband and I were nervous about our engagement photos but Shelby made the experience so comfortable and fun. She perfectly captured every important moment of our wedding. And we got our photos back super fast! Shelby created such a fun, memorable experience that I want to make up excuses for her to take more photos of me. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! -

Wedding day
Shelby is absolutely amazing at what she does. I literally don’t have words to describe how great she truly is. She is so easy to work with and so down to earth. You can tell from the start that she genuinely cares about what she does and the people she is working for. Sometimes taking pictures can be awkward or make you feel uncomfortable, but not with Shelby. Everyone that we have talked to about our wedding day has said that it was the easiest shoot they’ve ever had to do. Her professionalism shines through, allowing you to feel relaxed and have the best day! Shelby’s work is simply stunning and we couldn’t be happier with how our photos turned out. Plus she gets them back to you super quick! We have received so many compliments about her work. Shelby captured the most perfect memories that we will cherish for a lifetime. We are so blessed to have found Shelby to capture our love story! My husband and I are not keen on taking pictures, but Shelby made both our engagement and wedding photos feel effortless and enjoyable. Her fun and upbeat personality helped set the mood for both of our sessions. My wedding party even commented on how much fun they had taking pictures with Shelby. She was very helpful not only with our pictures but provided other wedding advice and information about vendors. Shelby was very quick about getting our photos back to us. Shelby is so much more than what we imagined when looking for photographers. She is incredibly kind, joyous, professional and a stand out in her field. We fell in love with her style before we met her and then in love with her once we met. She takes all suggestions and improves them. We laughed a lot during the photos. She captured our glow, silliness and the feel of the day perfectly! You can look at her photos and feel the emotion felt in that moment. Told us how and where to stand and had poses and shots we couldn't have came up with ourselves. We had our edited pics within a week of the wedding and they are as phenomenal as the photographer. Hands down, she will be our forever photographer! Cannot say enough amazing things about her, her style, and her professionalism. PLEASE book her yourself and see why we're raving about her! -

Shelby was super easy to work with and made the whole process as stress free as possible with a wedding. She has some pretty neat and unique ideas but also allows you to be able to come up with some of your own! She has an amazing personality that is incredibly inviting and helps make you feel comfortable if you have thoughts or concerns. She was so good to us through the whole process that our sister booked her for senior pics! We recommend Shelby to anyone who is ever in the market for a photographer and we will definitely be in contact with her for future shoots! Absolute 10/10! -

I was lucky enough to start getting photos done by Shelby Laine Photography before I think she even realized how good she was. Very professional and not afraid to have you do things or be different to get the PERFECT photos and moments captured. I’m pretty sure I was her first wedding but you couldn’t tell. She took such incredible photos. I don’t think I have EVER been in love with photos until I saw hers. From that point on I HAD to get all family photography done by her. I will cherish those photos forever.
She also does hair and makeup exceptionally well which I think is fantastic. While that is not her occupation she still knows what she needs to know for the special instances where things go wrong. She can handle WHATEVER she has to handle in a given situation to make sure the bride is gushing about her wedding and photos forever. Her customer service is off the charts.

Shelby did an amazing job with not only my engagement photos but also the wedding photos. She has fantastic ideas I didn't even know I would like let alone want. Especially with both my husband and I coming from large families, we were able to capture lasting memories. -

I have nothing but good things to say about Shelby! She is so funny and makes everything flow so smoothly. If you’re uncomfortable with getting your picture taken, you won’t be for long! Shelby captures the most beautiful moments and poses you in the most flattering way possible! She is the ONLY photographer I will ever use! She has done many shoots for me, including one with my dogs, a boudoir shoot (day of gift to my husband) and most importantly my wedding! I cannot rave more about her work and I love watching her work grow! She’s been published so many times it’s amazing! -

The first advice I received when planning our wedding was “figure out what’s most important to you and make that one thing the best, everything else will fall into place”. To me, photography was the most important. I knew that our photographer had to be the best, and I did my research on photographers!
Our wedding day rushed by so fast, I felt like it was over the moment it began. Shelby Laine photography not only made a time line of our wedding to make sure everything went smoothly, she captured so many emotions, feelings and every celebration with us and our guest that day.
The decor, food, and small details of the day will fade from our memories... but the photos will always be there to look back on, remembering one of the greatest days of my husbands and my life! Shelby captured our wedding perfectly, she knew what we wanted and perfectly documented our day in images! Shelby was there for us and we felt comfortable in front of her camera (which isn’t usually the case for us). We highly recommend Shelby and we look forward to using her in the future!!! -
