    Absolutely incredible photography

    Sheena Lynn Photography did the photography for my wedding in July 2018. Sheena was incredible from the beginning of the process to the very end. She was one of the very first vendors we booked after we got engaged and everything about her methods put us at ease and made us feel much less stressed. She was amazingly accommodating for our engagement photos, taking time with us to make sure everything was right. Sheena is a truly talented photographer who has a vision in mind to make sure each photo accurately represents the couple she is working with. Leading up to our wedding day, Sheena was in communication with us; we spoke on the phone about details and she was sure to prepare us for our big day by going over expectations so that not a single photo opportunity was missed. On the day of, I trusted that she would do a phenomenal job, and she did not disappoint. She fit in flawlessly with our guests and was able to gently lead everyone when it was time for bridal party pictures and family portraits without any disorganization occurring. My 9 month old niece was our flower girl and Sheena was even able to capture her attention for each of her photos. Her photos are absolutely beautiful and you can tell how much she enjoys and values the wonderful work that she does. I cannot express how impressed I am with Sheena's work and professionalism. I can say that asking her to do our photography for our wedding was the best decision we made as she was able to go above and beyond our expectations. Everyone that sees our wedding photos asks who our photographer was and I absolutely recommend her to anyone who is looking for a perfect wedding photography experience.

    Sheena is great. She did a really great job with our engagement photos and with our wedding. The pictures came out beautiful! Very happy with our photos!! Also, we loved Gerardo, her second shooter.

    When I met Sheena in person for the first time a week prior to the wedding, it was like talking to an old friend! Mind you, we booked her approximately two years prior to our wedding. As hectic and crazy as our wedding was, she worked out the kinks and the pictures turned out amazing! She captured so many personal and emotional moments - it had me bawling when I saw them. I have too many favorites that our whole house will be filled with wedding pictures. Will forever cherish the beautiful pictures :) Loved Sheena! She has such great talent.

    Phenomenal Photography and Client Service

    Sheena is an absolute DREAM to work with and I would recommend her over and over again to everyone. If I could give her a higher rating than 5 I would. We had both our engagement session and wedding shot by Sheena and she 100% exceeded our expectations. Sheena was so accommodating when it came to our engagement session getting rescheduled several times (once due to rain and a second time due to fiance getting poison ivy). On the day of our engagement shoot, my fiance and I were both so nervous because we typically feel very awkward in front of the camera, but Sheena made us feel so relaxed and it felt like we had known her our whole lives. The pictures came out so beautifully and we were so impressed! On our wedding day she was so organized and on top of things that we were actually running slightly ahead of schedule. Her and her second shooter were so amazing that even our families and bridal party were commenting on how much they loved her. I had nervous stomach all morning and when I finally started to feel hungry we were nowhere near any food, so Sheena gave me her goldfish to eat. You definitely will not get that kind of service with anyone else! She truly cares about her clients and wants the day to be perfect and the pictures to be perfect. My advice to any future couples using Sheena would be to 100% trust her with any shots she asks to take. Let her do her thing. If she asks you to go stand in the rain - DO IT! The result will be so rewarding, I promise!

    Poured through our entire ceremony and cocktail hour. Just as we were lining up to be introduced, Sheena put our wedding on hold, to capture AMAZINGLY GORGEOUS double rainbow shots!!

    Sheena was so flexible, as I had a major knee injury that caused us to have to delay our engagement photos. Our pictures turned out to be beautiful, and you can't even tell that I had that knee injury. Sheena was like an old friend and was so easy to talk to and understood what we were looking for in our pictures. We didn't use her for our wedding because we got married in a different state and had already booked our photog. She is amazing at what she does! I look forward to working with her in the future.

    I cannot thank Sheena enough! We had a simple wedding at the courthouse and she made our wedding photos like we had this magnificent wedding venue. She was on time and promptly got us out photos! Couldn't be happier with her!

    Sheena's captured our day beautifully. She was responsive, gave us tons of great shots, and was professional at all times. I would highly recommend her.

    Sheena is the most down to earth funny person but when it comes to photography she's amazing. I met sheena through a friend and we just clicked. I would highly recommend her. I received my wedding album today and I am in love with it!! She also has done family sessions for us as well. Personality and professional!

    Sheena did an amazing job on my May 2016 Wedding. I couldn't of asked for a more amazing person to work with. She knew what she was doing and made sure that my husband and I walked away with beautiful pictures to remember our wedding with. Her packages were fairly priced and included a lot of specs. I would definitely recommend Sheena to my friends and family and plan on using her in the future if I ever need a photographer again!

    Initially Sheena seem like a pleasure to work with, we booked around April/May 2017 for a March 2018 wedding. We had discussed having our engagement session during the winter and Sheena assured me that she could be very flexible at that time because it’s not a high volume wedding season. Finally booked in for a date in December. Unfortunately we had to cancel on the last minute due to my husband hitting his head and being rushed to the hospital to receive stitches. Tried to rebook a date with her and she was too busy with the holidays and then was on vacation for much of January and was busy in February. So much for flexibility! On the day of the wedding she made not only me, but the rest of the bridal party feels rushed. She gave off an attitude that it was her time and we were taking too long. I have problems with mobilizations and standing for long periods of time so I took a two to three breaks during our photos. Apparently this put us even more behind on her schedule. We didn’t even have time to get pictures with my bridesmaids and I. She stayed until after cake cutting like discussed and then left. Did not receive any photos from her until mid May. Was not expecting it to be that long and was actually told that since my wedding was in the winter that it wouldn’t take as long as during the high volume. We ordered prints, which came with our package. Emailed her on May 15th, still hadnt heard back by the 24th so I email Again. I get a response on May 30th saying that she got distracted and it slipped her mind. We are now in August and I have yet to receive a single thing from her. After writing this review she emailed me several times, making it seem as if she was putting effort in. I decided not to email back and have my prints shipped directly to me. After my sister took it upon herself to write a negative review, Sheena bashed me in her response. Totally unprofessional, totally not worth the money. Go elsewhere at all costs!

    I’m certain this isn’t the review you were hoping to write after your wedding.  You deserve the best experience from everyone who you allow to join in your special day.  No one should feel that they have regrets after any occasion, which is why it is important to come to an understanding about how that day may look prior to shooting.  For that, I take accountability.  While full of joy & excitement, the production of a wedding can be stressful and I feel as though we may have never come to terms on how much effort and diligence I would put into a day where you were looking to enjoy the moment.  In regards to your engagement session, I trust you understand the unpredictable happens and that we as photographers are human too, with family obligations that keep us reminded of how special family can be.  I can only look back and learn from not being readily available after your husband’s unfortunate event and hope you understand that, with all of the planning we put into these events, we still may not meet certain expectations.  Regarding the delivery of your images, I can only stress the industry standard of a 10-12 week turn around.  The 6 week turn around is my best effort to exceed customer expectations while still delivering great photos.  You should also be aware that your prints have shipped, and while my records indicate delivery, I have not been able to reach you to confirm this. I hope you see this as an attempt to reach out for confirmation as your satisfaction is still on my mind. Lastly, I truly appreciate you acknowledging the quality of my work.  This is a craft I hold dear to me and I can understand how my efforts to provide you with more of what I love to do may have resulted in stress & confusion.  Each wedding is unique and no one photographer fits every occasion; I understand that and take this review as both a learning experience and reflection of client needs, so I can continue to provide the service I hold dear to my heart to future clients.
