Ebony and Alexandria were absolutely incredible. From the very beginning, they made us feel calm, cared for, and confident—something that truly matters on such an emotional and high-energy day.
Due to time constraints before the wedding, I took the risk of not having a trial, and I couldn’t have been happier with the final result. My girls and I felt beautiful all night—not only because of their outstanding talent, but also because of their warmth, kindness, and professionalism.
They handled different skin tones and various hair types beautifully, making everyone feel seen, comfortable, and confident. They also created a relaxed and positive atmosphere, turning what could have been a stressful morning into a joyful and memorable experience.
I couldn’t recommend them more for any bride looking for both exceptional skill and genuine human connection.

My artist was Dani and she was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Due to the size of my group, we were assigned only one artist (we simply didn't need two) for both hair/makeup. She knocked it out of the park for everybody that she worked on. She's SO friendly and personable and managed some...attitude problems from my mother very well, lol. Everybody just looked absolutely stunning. Her talent isn't just the usual "bridal glam" that's so popular; I wanted a very natural, soft look and it was perfect. I would absolutely recommend SH to anyone!

I would highly recommend Shear Hotness for your wedding or other events hair and makeup. The day of the trial, they made me and my mother feel so welcome and open to whatever I gave them for reference. We were able to send notes from the trial and executed amazingly on the wedding day! Shear Hotness did makeup for my wedding and they were absolutely wonderful, Tina and Ebony were so great during the booking process, makeup trial, and leading up to the event to make sure I was feeling good and had all the info I needed. Everyone was very professional and kind. All of the bridal party loved their makeup and was so happy with how it held throughout the day. I also went to their salon, Bombshell Beauty Bar, for my spray tan (by Faith) for my bridal shower and wedding weekend and it was fantastic. Would absolutely recommend.

The Shear Hotness team is truly amazing! I was nervous about having my makeup done just because I still wanted to look like myself. However, Leah did a phenomenal job on my bridesmaids and me. I had Stephen as my hairstylist who captured what I wanted to a tee. The artists were professional and friendly. The products used were effective and high end. The price is a little high, but completely worth it. Tina made herself available throughout the entire process to advocate for me and what I wanted. Overall, I highly recommend!

Perfect Kentucky wedding
I have nothing but good things to say!! My wedding was in Kentucky and they were able to travel for a very reasonable price. We of course had to accommodate for sleeping the night before but they made it very easy. They made me look BEAUTIFUL, they were organized and had all their supplies with them including light and chairs. They had a system prepared and they did not stray lol. They were amazing and I would hire them again in a heartbeat. All my girls loved their hair and makeup too.

Tina sent me a very organized schedule for the day that made me feel taken care of and a top priority customer.
Mackenzie did my makeup and Stephen did my hair. I looked absolutely stunning and could not have been happier. That's how you want to feel on your wedding day, no stress and certainty that you'll look gorgeous. I was very impressed with Stephen who did my hair and 7 other girls so quickly!!! Both artists were enjoyable and fun to hang out with on the most important morning of my life.

Sable and Brittany were incredible, they arrived early and were great at listening, taking care of everyone, and making sure no one felt rushed. They even made sure I remembered to eat and take a moment to relax. I received so many compliments and after several hours of wear my makeup still looked great (even through the happy tears) and my hair was still in place and secure. Shear Hotness was amazing to work with for my wedding! Tina did a great job of coordinating everything from the start, making it easy to add services for bridesmaids, flower girls, and mothers. I had my hair & makeup trial with Abby & Marrisa and they were INCREDIBLE! I showed them examples and they had me so excited for my day of look. Not to mention, Tina helped make the experience special by bringing me a mimosa during the trial. On the day of, Sable & Savannah joined to take care of 10 bridesmaids, 3 flower girls, and 2 mothers. With that big of a party, we figured we would be behind schedule - but nope! These four had us AHEAD of schedule! They were so fun and everyone looked beautiful. I would HIGHLY recommend Shear Hotness for your wedding makeup and hair or for any event! For my wedding, Kate did hair and Betty did makeup and both were absolutely incredible! They were both so accommodating (along with Tina, who created the schedule) with my constant add on services (they did hair and makeup for 14 women) and even agreed to come earlier in the morning (before 8 am) so that we could all get to the venue on time. All the artists are extremely welcoming and are so easy to talk to, there was never a dull moment and they made getting ready really fun and calmed my nerves. They also are extremely flexible and can make any last minute changes for hair/makeup on your wedding day, even if you decide day of your event. On top of that, my bridesmaids and I looked absolutely stunning and everyone loved their look. I cannot recommend them enough!

THE BEST! I had to find a makeup artist very last minute due to a mix up with another vendor and Shear Hotness was AMAZING. Must have for your wedding day! The trial is fun & a good learning experience too! I was obsessed with my hair & even the videographer kept saying I love this bun, I need shots of it LOL! Thanks Kate! My makeup was perfect to how I wanted it, natural & bridal! I was so worried about my lashes but Bella did above and beyond for my makeup and made sure everything stayed! She really is talented & so detailed. I had no issues even after crying. Absolutely loved the ladies I got to work with. They did my bridesmaids hair & makeup too which turned out flawless. Kate even made time to last minute do something to the flower girls hair. I can’t say enough nice things about them or Tina! Communication was on point from the beginning, everything ran so smoothly. I had the pleasure of meeting Danielle, she blended right in with my bridal party and was super chill! She did a fabulous job on all of my girls, one of them hadn't worn makeup in THIRTY years so it was exciting to see Danielle transform her. Also, due to one of my bridesmaids dropping out, I had an extra slot for makeup; my Mom was willing to step in but all she wanted was a little lipstick, blush and filled in brows. Danielle was honest about their being a price difference (lower) and was excellent about getting it adjusted without even being asked. I 100% recommend Shear Hotness for your makeup/hair needs. I got married during the pandemic with many date changes, and the level of customer service they provided was outstanding. Ebony and her team were so professional, arrived on time, listened to what all the girls wanted, and kept to the schedule in a fun and relaxed manner.
Every bridesmaid loved their hair and the makeup and it held up all day (9AM-11:30 PM). It photographed beautifully and we got compliments all day. Hair and makeup was one of the most stressful parts of planning a wedding but they made it a great experience.

These girls are great!! By no means am I a professional but I am into hair and makeup so I can be very particular about how my hair and makeup looks. The instant I met the shear hotness team I would be working with I knew I made the right choice. They are so kind and made getting all dolled up really fun. I am so beyond grateful that I chose to work with Shear Hottness on my wedding day. Ebony, Abbi, and the second hair stylist, and makeup artist arrived perfectly on time, and made everyone feel SO beautiful. The experience was nothing short of professional. My makeup was exactly how I dreamed it would be, and I have never felt more beautiful. I am so appreciative of Ebony's kindness, and conversation that day to help me feel at ease. Shear Hotness team did an amazing job on mine and my bridal party hair and makeup for my wedding day! First working with Ebony and Tina prior to the day, on hair and makeup styles and getting schedule ready was easy! Then working with Stephen and Marissa for day of hair and makeup. My experience with Shear Hotness for my wedding hair and makeup was outstanding! Because of COVID, I had to change my wedding plans not once but twice. Tina was amazing at coordinating everything and was so helpful and responsive to me. I ended up not having the same hair stylist as who I had for my trial because of my change of plans, and Kate still executed exactly what I wanted by listening to me and looking at my pictures. The makeup that Marissa did was flawless and lasted all day, even in humid 90 degree weather for pictures! It was also so convenient to have the girls come to my house for the services! The level of professionalism and talent I experienced with Shear Hotness has been outstanding. I highly recommend Shear Hotness and will be using them again for my vow renewal and postponed wedding reception in 2021!

I came across Shear Hotness when I was living in the Dayton area. It was completely by accident, but I have to say I was shocked to find artistry of this caliber right under my nose. As a former wedding planner, I have been around more makeup artists than I can count, and Ebony and her team stand heads and shoulders above just about everyone I have ever worked with. I wanted makeup that would look exquisite in photos, and that is exactly what I got. Rachel also did a fantastic job on my hair. Their prices are more than fair for the quality you will receive. I would recommend Ebony, Rachel, Shear Hotness, or Bombshell (her salon in the Dayton area) to absolutely anyone. To top it off, the scheduling process was incredibly simple, her website is flawless and easy to use, and her professionalism is top-notch in an industry that often lacks it. 5 stars!! Amazing experience with Shear Hotness!
I used Shear Hotness for both hair and makeup and they were AMAZING. We had Sarah for makeup and Rachael for hair. Day of my wedding, I completely changed up both my hair and my makeup from what we did for trial, and Sarah and Rachael both totally killed it. I felt the prettiest I've ever been and all my bridesmaids looked equally stunning! They were fun, professional, and 100% rockstars at their job. Totally recommend them for hair and makeup!!!

Shear Hotness was absolutely AMAZING! I had signed a contract and had a trial with a different vendor and was really displeased with their customer service and my trial. I contacted Tina at Shear Hotness and she not only spent over an hour on the phone reassuring me and explaining the details of the agreement, but was BEYOND sweet and helpful! I was an out of state bride and the Shear Hotness team was super accommodating, fun to be around, and beyond talented with hair and makeup. They eased all of my nerves and did a beyond amazing job for my trial, a photo shoot, and most importantly my wedding day! Alyssia and Sarah were so great to be around and did phenomenal hair and makeup for me and my bridesmaids. I could not recommend Shear Hotness more!

I worked with Sarah for makeup and Lauren for hair. My look turned out perfect along with my bridesmaids. They were both punctual morning of wedding and finished with time to spear before heading to my venue. Ebony and her team were very easy to work with and take a lot of pride in their name. Made all of my worries disappear!
As a redhead with fair skin and curly hair I was nervous about my wedding hair and makeup (especially after having some interesting experiences in the past). On top of that, I got married on a day where the "real feel" temperature was 108 degrees and I was sure my makeup would just melt off! I was also worried it would be tough to do hair and makeup for me, eight bridesmaids, and my mom all in time to drive 30 minutes to the ceremony. On my wedding day all of my worries disappeared! The ladies at Shear Hotness finished all of our hair and makeup EARLY, and everyone looked fantastic! They created a chill atmosphere and sang along with me and my girls as we jammed out in anticipation of the day! My hair and makeup stayed all night and the pictures turned out great. Everyone kept wondering how I looked like I wasn't sweating, even though I definitely was! I 100% recommend Shear Hotness. They will take care of you from the beginning of the process until the end!

Ebony was beyond AMAZING! I looked and felt like a model on my wedding day! When i first met Ebony for my practice makeup, she was so fun and friendly- it was like i had known her my whole life. On my wedding day she was even more amazing! She was very professional and did an outstanding job on my girls and myself. We all looked absolutely beautiful. The next day after my wedding my face still looked amazing, in the past when i would get airbrush makeup done, my face would breakout almost instantly. My face never brokeout after my wedding day, it actually felt softer than before because of Ebony’s technique! My artist paused several times throughout the process to make sure it was exactly what i wanted. They are so easy to work with and made me feel beautiful. My hair was stunning. It was great to find a make up artist that understood what I wanted for my wedding day. I don't wear much makeup and she took that into account, plus the images I provided her and made me my own glamorous look!!! My booking was also different than most I'm sure because my mother wanted my full chest piece covered during my ceremony. I wore a sweetheart cut strapless dress with a beaded topper. Ebony took so much care into what I and my mother wanted and made everything look so natural. I would recommend her to anyone wanting that special touch on their wedding day. Just book Shear Hotness now. If you're looking for a traveling hair and makeup team, DONT LOOK ANY FURTHER. I was SO incredibly impressed and happy with this team's professionalism, enthusiasm, modernity, quality, and flexibility.
Our hair and makeup lasted ALL day and night! We looked just as good at the ceremony as we did at the reception. They use quality products; Ebony mixed foundations to get just the right color for my skin tone and for my wedding party (something I was so worried about when looking for a makeup artist) and primed us to make our looks last all day. Taylor made our hair so perfect, frizz-free, beautiful, and SECURE.
During my trial their team worked so hard to get me the look Ive always wanted, and delivered it on my wedding day as well. I looked better than I had imagined and felt like a princess.
Ebony's team treated my party and I like gold! They are so fun to be around-- I was so happy to spend my morning with them listening to music and chatting all things weddings!

I can't say enough good things about Ebony and the Shear Hotness team. After my original makeup artist canceled on me five days before my wedding, Ebony came to my rescue and it ended up being a blessing in disguise.
Sarah and Abigail were professional, talented and so much fun to work with on the morning of my wedding. (Abigail even came prepared with straws so that we could drink our champagne without ruining our lipstick!) They made myself and my 7 bridesmaids look and feel our absolute best and truly listened to what we wanted.
They were the absolute perfect addition to my wedding and I can't recommend them enough.

I could write a whole book on my experience because I was so obsessed with every little thing! Blown away doesn't even begin to describe how I feel about my wedding day hair and makeup. I wish I could have Ebony at my house every morning to get me glammed up! We had Ebony, Taylor, and Chelsea on my wedding day doing hair and makeup, and when they say they're the dream team, they're not kidding. We had SO MUCH FUN with them! They're all beyond amazing. So talented and easy going too! It's obviously important to be professional, but to me it's more important that I can laugh and have fun and they had us cracking up all morning. That meant more to me than they'll ever know because it kept me stress-free. I'm obsessed with how amazing my bridesmaids looked as well (BOMBSHELLS by the way). When I made the decision to have my make up done for my wedding I had no idea where to start. I found out about Shear Hotness from a co-worker. From the first time I reached out to Ebony I knew I made a good decision. She was prompt and professional in all of our communications. She e-mailed a packet of information that explained in detail all of the packages they offered. After I decided to use Ebony and her team I scheduled my trial. The meeting with Chelsea went great. She was so sweet and took the time to get to know me and what I like and didn't like, and how I normally do my make up. She was patient and answered all of my questions and bridesmaids questions. Ebony and Chelsea were so accommodating even after I had to change locations of where we were getting ready multiple times! The day of Chelsea arrive promptly and quickly set up and got started. Throughout the process the day of the wedding she was patient and checked in with me multiple times to ensure that I was doing okay. I arrived at my wedding feeling absolutely beautiful! Of all the vendors I used for my wedding Shear Hotness was hands down the best! I would use Chelsea and Ebony again without hesitation!!

Book Ebony and her team! Seriously - right now!
I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day. Booking Ebony and Stephen was easily one of the best decisions I made for our Hindu wedding. My husband and I planned our Columbus wedding from the East Coast and took quite a few gambles on vendors- booking almost solely on recommendations from friends or vendors we used for our Christian wedding earlier in the summer. Lucky for me, my makeup artist for the first ceremony gave me Ebony's name. After a lot of email exchanges and phone calls, I arrived at my trial the Thursday before our wedding feeling a bit nervous since we were so close to the wedding day and I was struggling to find ideas for bridal makeup that would look good with my beautiful, vibrant wedding lehengas and still work with my very fair skin and freckles. Ebony understood exactly what I needed, and my makeup was absolutely perfect for both the wedding ceremony and the reception. Stephen also worked his magic and was able to make hair extensions work with my really short hair. It looked amazing, and I was able to surprise my mother-in-law with long hair. Both my hair and makeup lasted through the entire day and still looked flawless after a long night of dancing.
It was a privilege to spend a good portion of my day with them. They were relaxed, patient, and kind, and they worked so hard to make sure my girls and I were ready and looking amazing for the mid-morning ceremony (even going so far to help put my shoes on!). I can't say enough how grateful I am to have worked with this amazing team on my wedding day. They made it so special- felt like I was hanging out with good friends.

Ebony was great and really alleviated some concerns I had after two awful hair trials I had with other companies. She was able to arrange a trial for me with limited notice, as I was an out-of-town bride and was only in town for a few days. I was amazed by her professionalism and her team's work both at the trial and on the big day. I had Tara for hair and Sam for makeup and they both gave me exactly what I asked for! My bridesmaids' hair and makeup also turned out beautifully. Don't hesitate to book them!

I found them on theknot.com and was first impressed with their professional website and incredible before and after pictures. Ebony and Chelsie came to me in Nashville for my hair and makeup trial, (even though they live in Ohio) which was incredibly convenient. I showed them pictures of what I wanted, and they delivered exactly that. It was obvious they knew what they were doing and they had a passion for it. I felt completely comfortable letting them be a part of our big day!
I wanted a stress free Wedding day where all of my girls could be pampered and feel beautiful. I let them all choose their hair and makeup and thanks to Ebony, Chelsie, and Taylor it turned out beautifully. I felt they made everyone look and feel like the best versions of themselves.
They took care of 7 bridesmaids, myself, my mom, and my flower girl, and I can honestly say everyone was pleased with the outcome! Not to mention they took care of everyone in a timely fashion and they were fun to hang out with all day! I have never felt as beautiful as I did on my wedding day and I owe that to Ebony at Shear Hotness!
When I first got engaged I asked my hair stylist if she knew anyone who did airbrush makeup for weddings and without hesitation she told me to book with Ebony and Shear Hotness. After browsing the website and Facebook page, I knew they were the team for the job! I immediately reached out to Ebony and secured her and her team for our July wedding. A few weeks prior to the big day, my mom and I met Ebony for the first time at my makeup trial. Not only were we extremely impressed by the makeup (which was stunning!), but we were also pleased with how fun-loving, enthusiastic and professional Ebony is.
On the day of the wedding Ebony and her glam squad arrived on time and were very quick to set up. We were on a tight timeline for the day but Ebony made sure we stayed on schedule. She and her team successfully completed 8 makeup applications and 9 hair styles in under 4 hours and we were off to pictures on time! My girls loved their hair and makeup and they looked beautiful. The makeup looked fabulous in person and in photos! Despite it being the hottest day of the year, my airbrush makeup lasted the entire day (more than 12 hours) and I only had to touch up my lip color one time.
Ebony strives for excellence and she is willing to do whatever it takes to make your day perfect. I had one request – to make me and my girls look beautiful – and she definitely delivered! She had done one of my friends makeup for her wedding, for the bride and all the bridesmaids and I loved it, I had to have it for my wedding., so I contacted her as soon as I could to make sure she saved my wedding date.
I had Ebony do 9 girls makeup including me, the day of my wedding, plus brought her assistant to make sure everyone got their make up done. All my girls looked flawless, they all loved their makeup. I am still getting compliments on how my makeup was on my wedding day. She made sure everyone was happy with how they looked before she left. She did such a great job!
Mind you she even came to my house on the Thursday before my wedding to do spray tans on all of us. Ebony's goal is to make you feel and look beautiful. She is full of joy and laughter and you can be your complete self with her! I would recommend Ebony & her Shear Hotness team to anyone who is interested in looking flawless on their wedding day or any special occasion they may have.

Words cannot even begin to express how amazing Ebony and her amazing team at Shear Hotness is. From the start Ebony ensured I had the best experience. Planning a wedding from a state away and then moving even further in the middle of wedding planning is never easy. Ebony was super accommodating for my packed schedule and ensured we fit a makeup trial in and on top of that I was in love with her work from the beginning. Ebony made myself and my bridal party feel at ease. She was able to sense one bridesmaids tension and made her feel comfortable. When we planned our wedding for earlier June we did not anticipate on it being 97 degrees. My makeup stayed and looked flawless ALL DAY. I felt confident from the first photo to the last. On top of our flawless makeup, Alyssia did fantastic job on everyone's hair. She was able to take their pictures and turn it into reality. Both Ebony and Alyssia went above and beyond in customer service. Alyssia helped me put my shoes on and both were just as excited as we were- it felt like we great friends. I loved seeing the before and after pictures that were posted and finally a few months before my wedding I booked a trial with Ebony and I was so amazed at my own before/after!! I've never had my makeup professionally done and I would say I could be pretty picky! Ebony was so easy and professional to work with and helped answer all my silly questions. My makeup artist was Chelsea who was amazing! She made me feel so beautiful and didn't care if I hurt her feelings if I didn't like something and truly cared and wanted me to love my makeup. I got so many compliments about my makeup. It held all day, even up to the moment I had to take it off at 1 AM! She even helped my bridesmaid apply her fake lashes last minute that she had brought. As a girl you dream about your wedding day ever since you were little. All the details, your dress, your hair and even your makeup. I couldn't imagine not using Ebony with shear hotness. I loved Ebony and Chelsie so much, and so did my mom and sisters! Working with them is like working with two friends. From responding quickly to texts answering my questions, to whispering comforting things to me when I got flustered, to offering to run out and buy me a garter when I realized I forgot it, they went above and beyond. I got my hair, makeup, and airbrush tan done by them, and my mom and sisters got hair and makeup and we all loved the result! I would choose them again in a heartbeat.
