We had Abby come and do our hair and makeup for our wedding in Tamarindo. She did such a great job. She is very easy to work with and made all of us look stunning. I would definitely recommend her! She put a timeline together and it made the morning run smoothly. My run through was a couple of days before which was perfect because then I looked amazing for my welcome party too. Definitely use Shear Abby!
My mom and I got our hair and makeup done for my husband and I’s elopement. Abby was amazing! She was the sweetest and most talented make up and hair artist we have had the pleasure of working with. I would definitely recommend her again and again! -

Abby was a dream come true for hair and makeup on my wedding day. My hair and makeup was really the only thing I was anxious about because I was nervous my vision wouldn't come to life. Abby was amazing at looking through photos of what I wanted and then catering it to me specifically to get the exact look I was going for. She was patient as I talked through different options with her and was easy to communicate with. On my wedding day she made me feel calm and pampered and I left feeling like an absolute princess. I would 10/10 recommend her! -

Shear Abby has such a calm demeanor when she is working . She remained calm throughout the entire process for my wedding preparation . She dedicated her time and did not rush through my make up or hair . She always asked if I was happy with the results and adjusted any knit picking . Some of my bridesmaids would interrupt and ask her to help them with their hair after the spa had done theirs and Abby did not hesitate to assist but always kept in mind that I was priority . I had a vision and she nailed it. I feared that the make up would be caked on and on the contrary it was very delicate and natural . I have very thin hair she added extensions for volume and trimmed them to wear I felt comfortable . It was the windiest day in Cancun Mexico and my hair and make up still managed to hold up . I only slept an hour and she still managed to make me feel and look elegant and pretty on one of the most important days of my life . Can’t thank this professional enough . -

I cannot express enough praise for the excellent job Abby did on my hair and makeup for my wedding!! She is such a breeze to work with and she made me feel so comfortable during those stressful few hours before the wedding. She came to where we were staying and did both my Mom's and my hair. We didn't have a wedding party, but Abby was so accommodating to our needs. She also has an amazing studio in downtown Boulder where you can go for your trial and have some one on one time to discuss your ideas. I'm not even sure where to start with this review. Abby was so amazing from the time I asked her to be apart of my special day to the end. She was very organized and was so flexible with my needs. I'm the type of person who likes things to be planned out and organized and man did Abby nail that on the head. She had a schedule that was provided to me for my bridal party which made the morning of flawless. She was at our location on time and set up before I ever even got there. I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup that day she made me feel like an absolute princess. All of my girls looked amazing and best of all felt pretty and comfortable. It was beyond refreshing working with Abby and I would refer expertise to EVERYONE!Shear Abby's reply:

Kelsey Sent on 10/07/2018Abby did a fantastic job with hair and make up for my wedding. She rolled with the punches when I changed what I wanted at the last minute and was able to do exactly what I had in mind. She also did a great (and super fast) job with my mom, my sister, mother in law, and sister in law. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend Abby!

Lindley Sent on 07/22/2018I absolutely loved working with Abby for my big day! She was extremely responsive to all of my emails and my questions before I scheduled my consultation with her.
During the research phase for wedding hair and makeup, I was a bit nervous as to how everything would turn out because I am a pretty low key woman when it comes to hair and makeup and I was afraid I would end up looking like someone totally different on my wedding day with too much makeup or over the top hair.
I explained this to Abby right off the bat and she was super understanding and responsive to my requests. When I went to my consultation with her, all of my worries melted away! We worked together to achieve a look I loved!
She even ended up helping me correct my blonde color for the big day. I saw her twice prior to the wedding and she did a full highlight and toner both times to help me get the shade of blonde that I loved.
I ended up going with airbrush makeup for the big day and I cannot say enough about how amazing it looked on my skin and how well it stayed on through the July Colorado heat! My eyes looked absolutely amazing and the lip color that Abby created for me was dynamite!! I felt like an absolute queen on my wedding day.
And my hair… wow!! Just wow! Abby put my hair into an absolutely stunning and romantic crown braid. It looked so soft and natural and ethereal. I also didn’t have any issues with noticing that there was hairspray in my hair- which is wonderful because who wants crunchy hair?! And, it lasted the whole night through all of the dancing!
On the wedding day Abby showed up on time, was prepared to handle me and my four other bridesmaids that got their hair and makeup done too. Abby is super efficient and amazing at what she does! She stuck to our timeline that morning and even got us out the door a little early.
I cannot recommend Abby enough!!

I contacted her only a few mere days before the event and she responded quickly and efficiently on the phone and remained in contact while I travelled from the hills of Kentucky to the gorgeous Rockies! She's extremely prepared, friendly and knows how to make you feel at ease. I would definitely recommend her to anyone. <3Shear Abby's reply:

She was extremely responsive in the planning process and helped me make a timeline (accommodating little changes along the way for me), and showed up on-location for us to get everything done! She and her assistant were fast and stayed on-schedule the whole morning so we didn't have to worry about anything. I loved my hair and makeup and felt so beautiful the whole day. She also did my mom, grandma, and several of my bridesmaids as well.
