Since our initial meeting, Sharon and Chase have been nothing but amazing. As someone who prefers to be behind the camera instead of in front, Sharon has made me feel comfortable, beautiful, and loved from the second I met her. From getting two sets of engagement photos done to our wedding coverage - they are hands down the best photo team. Their easy-going nature, infectious personalities, and professionalism are second to none.
For our engagement photos in the OBX, Sharon recommended a fabulous hair & makeup stylist who blew me away with her kindness and ability to make me feel beautiful in person and in photos. (which is hard to do!)
Our wedding day would not have been what it was without the help of Sharon, Chase, and Josh. On top of capturing our day beautifully, they helped throughout the day to ensure our timelines were upheld and that we were doing okay and staying in the moment. They even stepped up to help coordinate additional unplanned hiccups and saved the day.
We consider Sharon and Chase a part of our family, and for any future milestone photos, they are our only choice.
We cannot recommend them enough! -

Magical photos and video experience!
The SEP team was the ABSOLUTE BEST CHOICE for our daughters intimate OBX beach wedding! We have been a fan as a venue owner watching the artistry process for many years and are OVER THE MOON with satisfaction with our experience, pictures and OH, THAT VIDEO!!! Professional, detailed, and finds the beauty in every shot! -

HIGHLY, highly recommend! We used Associate Photographer Emily with Sharon Elizabeth Photography for our April 2022 wedding in Smithfield Virginia and could not be happier.
Sharon and her team are professional, experienced and responsive. Leading up to the wedding, they answered all of my questions and worked with other vendors to create a timeline. At one point in the planning process, I had a moment of doubt about what I wanted (What bride doesn't have those moments?), and Sharon was able to clearly communicate with me and show me specific examples of expectations for photography that put me at ease.
I was so impressed at how smoothly the wedding day went; We didn't have to worry about anything at all! The photography team was flexible and really made everyone comfortable and relaxed. They captured all of the photos I requested and so many beautiful moments. After the wedding, we received a sneak peak within just 24 hours. Our full album was returned so quickly, and we were BLOWN AWAY! Sharon's warm editing style really captured the romantic, feminine, soft vibes that we were going for. I get tears of joy in my eyes when I look at the beautiful moments that SEP captured, and I know that these photos will carry the memories for so many years. I have zero regrets and I'm so incredibly thankful that we chose SEP for our wedding photography!! -

The team at Sharon Elizabeth are just amazing. As a wedding videographer, I always ask for equal amount of time with the bride and groom and the team always provided me with the best shots and plenty of time with the couple. This was the best experience I have EVER had with a vendor. Highly recommend! The photos are just stunning and I have used them on my blog to further promote Sharon Elizabeth Photography. Emily was so nice and laid back! Hire them asap! -

There can't possibly be a better engagement & wedding photographer serving the Virginia/Maryland/Delaware area than Sharon Hundley and the rest of her team.
As soon as we came across her work on Instagram while researching vendors, we were sold, and we knew we had made the right choice from our first e-mail exchange with Sharon.
Not everybody enjoys being photographed or feels natural in formal photography settings, but we can guarantee that you're going to have a BLAST working with Sharon.

Kelly Sent on 10/03/2016One of Sharon Elizabeth's associates photographed our wedding, along with a second shooter and an assistant. I first became interested in this business through a special they advertised on Facebook. My mom contacted Sharon and she put us in contact with Ashley, our photographer. We knew we were going to book her when she met us for dinner to get acquainted. She welcomed us both with a warm hug! My husband and I enjoyed taking pictures the day of our wedding (we got to kiss a lot :D). Sharon and her husband also provided us with a photobooth for cocktail hour and our reception and our guests really enjoyed it. (They received their pictures right away via text.) We got married on a Saturday and Sharon sent us the link to our pictures the following Thursday. SUPER QUICK! I would highly recommend this business. -

Working with Sharon and her team was such a blessing... it's like having your best friend shoot your photos, except you just met them! She was so personable and made us feel so relaxed! I had been following and admiring her work for some time and always knew I would want her as my wedding photographer! I think I screamed when I found out she was available for our wedding date!!!!! She doesn't just take pictures, she captures emotion. Her and her team are the most down to earth people which gave me such peace of mind on my wedding day! I knew all the important moments were in good hands and I had nothing to worry about! When it comes to having our pictures taken, my husband and I tend to tighten up but Sharon has a way of making us relax and interact with each other which in turn creates genuine moments! She created a timeline for our event, which was super helpful. She also recommended doing a first look no peek as well as a father daughter first look. These were two things I haven't thought of before but I'm so glad that we captured these moments. The photos are priceless!
Sharon did a wonderful job capturing all the love and emotion that was felt throughout our wedding day and made us feel at ease when the camera was on us for the bride/groom portraits. Looking back on our photos makes me feel like I'm reliving the day all over again and I love that feeling.
