Sharko's was INCREDIBLE for our Wedding Catering!!
We worked primarily with Jacalyn at Sharko's catering, but candidly, the entire Sharko's team and family were absolutely incredible the entire time we worked with them and we were SO incredibly pleased with the food, service, overall experience and wonderful care they put into making our wedding day absolutely amazing! We had out tasting in early January for our late February wedding (trust me, I thought this was too late, but they assured me it was more than enough time) and the tasting was great- easy to schedule and communicate what we were interested in trying. The food was incredible and we were super excited to have them as our top contender for the wedding dinner!
They helped set up our buffet dinner for just under 100 guests, made the table look beautiful, they ensured we had our meal before our guests (thank you!! Otherwise I don't think we would have had a chance to eat tbh), they filled our champagne glasses for toasts, and allowed us to customize every option from day one. On top of these things, the chef made sure to introduce himself and check on us throughout the night, the serving staff saved us appetizers during cocktail hour to ensure we were fed throughout the night and they made sure that we were taken care of first and foremost which just helped us feel that much more special. We catered our dessert and cake from a local bakery, but they helped cut and serve desserts as well. I cannot tell you how absolutely wonderful the entire team was in making our evening the absolute most special night. Thank you Sharkos, you were all superb and we were so thankful to have you help ensure our big day was so special!

Sharko’s provides great food and service for your event. They catered our wedding on 2/21/25. They made sure that the food was hot and out to guests during happy hour. No one went hungry for n their watch. Our guests raved about how great the food was and the chef even went around to all of the tables to personally check on all of our guests. I could not have asked for better food our service on our wedding day!

The best caterers!
Sharkos was the most incredible caterer for our small wedding. They were always so kind and always responsive to my questions even if they were a little silly, or changing the drink options a few times. Jaclyn was such a great coordinator to work with and even matched the vibe of our wedding when we asked them not to wear something as formal as they normally do and showed up in boho attire (as requested) to match the personality of our wedding. They were amazing, and our guests even said they felt like they were treated like royalty by Sharkos because the food was so delicious. Thank you Sharkos!

Sharko’s is the best
If you are a looking for catering services for your upcoming event you will not regret choosing Sharko’s!
Not only were they so professional but they showed personal interest in making sure our event was successful. They answered all of our questions and made so easy to communicate with their staff.
On our event day, the servers were so professional and kind, they fulfilled what they promised and everyone loved the food.
We definitely recommend them and use them again.

Amazing caterers for a wedding!
This company is perfect for your wedding day! We had the pleasure of having their services for our wedding on 11.10.2024 in Apache Junction, AZ and the food was amazing! At least 3/4 if not more of our guests came up to us throughout the night and the week following stating how good the food was! They are reliable, professional, friendly, and very skilled at what they do and what they provide!

My experience with Sharkos Catering was excellent. They were easy to work with, did everything as promised, the food was delicious and plenty of it, the servers were wonderful and helpful, the serving table was decorated nicely and the table linens were in great condition and as promised. There were many compliments on the food and servers from my guests. If I ever need a caterer again I will definitely choose Sharkos

Chicagoans love their food, Sharkos is the best!
Our first encounter with Sharko's was at an open house for the vendor we chose for our wedding, North Valley Garden. The food was great, better than the other vendors on site, but just to be sure we got it right, we scheduled a tasting. Their office was full of Chicago memorabilia, we knew it had to be good, and it was. Our guests raved and when I told the Chicago family that our chefs were from Chicago, they all said of course! They were also so easy to work with and made sure that everything was perfect, from the place settings to the dessert. I believe good food, great friends and good music make an event, thank you Sharkos family for making our event spectacular.

Gary, Ron and Nate of Sharko's Catering did a fabulous job for my cousin's 60th Birthday party with 50 guests. The food was excellent and beautifully displayed. Being a chef himself, Gary did a wonderful job of interacting with the guests and making sure their needs were met. Nate graciously helped serve and Ron did a great job of keeping the bar hopping. They looked good in their black shirts and pants. They truly added to the elegance of the party.
We would give Sharko's Catering six stars if we could!

PHENOMENAL catering!!!!!!
We used Sharko’s for our wedding this past December and they were hands down one of our best and favorite vendors. The food and service was outstanding!!! Afterwards we had multiple guests and even our other wedding vendors rave about our wedding food. On top of the food, they were so professional and always promptly communicated with us and our coordinators to make sure everything went off without a hitch. Sharkos is amazing! We use them at work and I decided to hire them for my wedding (planned in 3 weeks). Sharkos did a phenomenal job. I am very particular about the quality of food and Sharkos did not disappoint! My guests kept on having extra plates.The appetizers were very elegant and beautifully served. Great to work with for your big day!
One of the biggest aspects of your wedding is the food and let me tell you- you can’t go wrong with Sharkos! The food was amazing and our guest enjoyed it. Now the raving doesn’t stop with the food, but also the amazing Sharko’s team. Gerard- has the best communication and was always on top of it with any questions I had, any request or changes I made. Weddings have lots of changes as well and Sharkos rolled with the flow. The day of the event was seamless, they had a beautiful set up, their staff was dressed nicely and all went off without a hitch. Great food!
Sharkos catered our wedding dinner in June, and the food was amazing! Food tasted the same, if not better, on wedding day as it did during the tasting. Portions were very generous and we ended up with a lot of leftovers. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our guests told us over and over how good the food was and how kind the staff was to them. We liked supporting a family business as well. I highly recommend Sharkos for great quality food during any event!

Sharko Catering did a magnificent job on my son’s wedding which was performed in my back yard on a very warm Saturday evening in June. They were very easy to work with and the food and rental set up and take down were fabulous. Passed appetizers and bar service were seamless and the meal and cake service were great as well. Sharko’s Catering is absolutely amazing and went above and beyond for our wedding. Three months before our wedding, we had to change venues which meant changing everything. I reached out to Gerard and he jumped in and helped us immediately! We were able to setup a tasting quickly (which was AMAZING). They also assisted with the tables, chairs, cloth, and glassware/silverware rentals! Days before the wedding, Gerard and his team came out to the venue to do a walk through of how everything should flow. They gave great suggestions and helped tremendously in the short time we worked together. Now the food....it is months later from our wedding and we are still hearing about how amazing the food was! The appetizers were a hit during the cocktail hour, we served Chicken Tequila Burritos, Bruschetta, and Coconut shrimp. The servers made sure everyone received multiple rounds of appetizers, including the bridal party who was off taking photos in another area. When it came to dinner, it flowed beautifully and there was even enough for seconds for our guests. The Chicken Florentine and Braised Short Rib was PERFECT! We couldn’t of asked for a better catering company. We HIGHLY recommend Sharko’s Catering. They are the best!

Sharko’s showed UP for us from day 1 until the eventual (postponed) wedding date over a year later. Cannot emphasize this enough, they were there for us completely and so accommodating with every need or change we made to the plan. Every employee was so so genuinely kind and truly took care of us throughout the day/night. The food and cake had our hearts from the get-go when we did our tasting. After the wedding, it was the most talked about aspect of the wedding. The guests raved over all of it, especially the Kugelis, the beef, and the appetizers!! Our cake they created was stunning, they helped tremendously with reception set up and they even packed us bride and groom to-go meals we could enjoy post-wedding because the night is so busy we didn’t get to sit and enjoy our food for very long. That was such a thoughtful thing and really stuck with us. They did so much, even helped capture a lot of great footage/pics from our event which they sent us the next day (above and beyond). We are so grateful to have been able to have this team play a big role in our event. We would not change a single thing. We never even considered another caterer, our gut feeling said from the beginning this was the company to hire. Family owned and operated, Sharko’s is the company that will take your event to the next level. They are genuine and hard working and clearly love what they do!!

Amazing service and food!
We have used Sharko's for several events over the years, so they were an easy choice for my daughter and son-in-law's wedding. Their service and professionalism are impeccable and their food is phenomenal! We received many compliments after the wedding from our guests saying it was the BEST food they've ever had! I can't say enough good things about Sharko's...they are definitively our first choice in catering!

Excellent service and food!
Sharko's Catering provided the catering for my daughter's backyard wedding in March, 2020. They were professional and prompt and provided excellent service. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS and the servers and bartenders were professional and courteous. The table settings, cocktail tables and bar setup looked so nice! They even provided the wedding cake which was both beautiful and delicious. You can tell they are a family-owned company because they really cared about providing excellent service.

Sharko’s was the absolute right decision for my wedding! A true family run company that feels like your own. Plus, three months later, people are still telling us how delicious the food was. They went above and beyond for our tasting and entire experience, even amid the pandemic!

Sharko's Catering was AMAZING!!
Sharko's Catering was very responsive in the planning stages of our daughter's wedding. They were very accommodating with the menu items we requested. Prior to the wedding they met us at the venue to be sure they understood our vision and took notes of all items needed to ensure a flawless food experience for our guests. Their serving staff was extremely friendly and professional with our guests . The dinner presentation was beautiful and the food was absolutely delicious! Sharko's cleaned and left everything spotless when they left. Having an experienced catering company really allowed us to focus on spending time with our guests and not worrying about the food details. I highly recommend Sharko's and I am glad to have found a good caterer for our future events.

Amazing food, cake, and service!
Where to begin? The food, display, and personnel were incredible. This family owned business blew me away, and I got many compliments on the service. In fact, many said that it was the best food and cake that they had ever had at a wedding! I agree :). Although the taste test was delicious, the food was even better on the actual wedding day. To top it off, Gerrard is the most genuine and friendly man. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing Food
We catered Sharkos for our wedding 6/8/19. All I have to say if all our guests talked about how amazing the food was. A week and 1/2 later and guests are still talking about it.
I had the pleasure to work with Brian and he was awesome. Great personality and professional.

Nice people and great food

Outstanding Service, Incredible Food
Sharko's catered our intimate wedding reception at our home outside of Scottsdale and it was perfection! They visited our house several days in advance to plan the best layout. The food was fantastic and the service impeccable. They even worked with us to make sure that our vegan guests were completely happy. My husband commented afterwards that the food was so good that we will need to host a dinner party just to have Sharkos cater the event. 5 stars!

Memories of our special day!
Sharko's was a hit at our outdoor wedding, guests are still talking about it. The staff was prompt, professional, caring, and friendly. The appetizers and wedding cake were exceptional. I definitely would hire them for another gathering. I am familiar with the family restaurants that they used to have in IL that is why I hired them to cater our wedding reception.

Last Minute Caterer
I called Gerard less than 2 weeks prior to our event. He said, "I'm pretty sure that we can accommodate your event." Accommodate was not the word. They made us feel like we were there only client. From set-up to clean up and everything in between. The food was spectacular, and the service was even better. Gary was checking on my husband and I (knowing that the bride and groom probably hadn't eaten) asking if we would like for him to make us a plate. Gary was amazing for our guests and his staff was so helpful. I can not say enough about the staff at Sharko's. Should we have an event in the future, we WILL be using Sharko's. Thank you for making our reception amazing!!

From the moment that I read the menu to my bride, we had to find out if Sharko's catering was as delicious and beautiful as we were dreaming.
We called them up and made an appointment to sit down and have a tasting with Gerard. And the three of us became instant friends.
We didn't want to leave!
But we left confident in the knowledge that Gerard would supply us with the reception that was going to be the fabulous event that would wrap our guest in the romance and beauty and elegance that our wedding ceremony displayed.

Sharkos truly deserves 5 stars for every one of these qualities. They catered an outdoor wedding for us when it started raining 2 hours before the event. They very quickly, quitely and professionally rearranged the serving of the dinner without anyone knowing we had to change anything. The food was delicious and plentiful. The staff was all a pleasure to work with. We will use them again for any kind of event where we are serving a large group of people.

No one ever says “the food was great” when they attend a wedding but that is exactly what our guests raved about! We looked at several companies and landed on sharkos because of the value and service we felt we would receive and we got soo much more! We had planned to use linens from our church and when we put them on the table they were terrible — sharkos came to the rescue with one quick phone call and we had beautiful white linens to the floor! Sharkos was the best because they really cared!!

I cannot begin to express how delighted we were with the whole Sharko's catering experience. They have catered many events for our church and have never disappointed. For our daughter's wedding they provided outstanding food and wonderful people to prepare, serve, and clean up. Be prepared to be overwhelmed with the quality and professionalism of this group. We were even treated to a sampling of the foods available, and it was delicious. The attention to detail made our wedding an event to be enjoyed. We used Sharko's for our rehearsal dinner as well, and all of our guests just raved about this team of professionals.

There should be NO hesitation at all to book this company. They are so nice to work with, their staff is great, their menu choices delicious and a great value, their cake "maker' exceptional, and their "brochure" for sorts of choices in food and rentals very appealing and easy to use. they don't dally around, but just get the job done. They did our special wedding for our son and his new wife, who are "special" people. The consideration that they showed to them, and their kindness to all was greatly appreciated. They made their wedding reception a dream come true. I am the mother of the groom, and have known about this catering company since their parents started it in 1976. I recently attended the party they catered for my sister-in-law's 80th birthday party. So they do all kinds of catering, and excel at it.

Hiring Sharkos to cater our wedding was perhaps my best wedding-related decision. The food was so good!! We did a buffet with a couple of different entree options and sides. The quality was great. We had a bunch of picky eaters (young food snobs, aunts with strange allergies, etc.) and everyone was really impressed with the food. Gerard and the rest of the staff were professional and accommodating during the arrangements and the tasting. Everything ran really smoothly on the day of the wedding, too. We had a plastic table collapse just before dinner and the catering staff cleaned it up, found a new tablecloth, and had everything back to normal in maybe 15 seconds. It was magic. They made sure my now-husband and I ate first (a big deal to us lol) and even hand-delivered seconds to our table! Oh yeah, we had seconds and so did many of our guests because the food was so good. Sharkos staff also packed up leftovers for us.
We also got our wedding cake from Sharkos. I heard from several guests that this was the best wedding cake they'd ever had. Seriously, it was that good. We had specific requests for decorations and our requests were executed flawlessly.
I loved Sharkos and would recommend all my friends hire them for any event, large or small, that they might throw.

Sharko's were fabulous caterers. Their prices were comparable to other caterers- even better than the ones we saw, actually. Everyone at our wedding commented that it was the best food they had ever eaten at a restaurant. Sharko's staff all went above and beyond for our event. We rented chair coverings for our event, and Gerard went to our venue on his own to double-check which chair covers would fit the chairs at the venue- it was good that he did that because the chairs were not normal size and they were able to accommodate them. Sharko's also ensured that extra food was donated, and sent us home with individually wrapped meals so we could eat all week! They poured our champagne and cut the cake, seamlessly providing excellent service throughout our wedding. I can't say enough good things about them. It was a pleasure having them cater our wedding.

At our initial meeting, we set up a complimentary tasting with them and were very pleased with the variety of food offerings and the quality of the food. At our wedding, our guests would frequently comment on how delicious the food was! I often saw people going back for seconds or thirds. The servers made sure everyone was taken care of and cleared plates efficiently. I knew I didn't have to worry about Sharko's and could sit back and enjoy my wedding day. My husband and I highly recommend them.

My husband and I were having a small wedding over a holiday weekend and it was very difficult to find a catering company that was willing to accommodate that. From the moment I contacted Sharkos I was happy. I constantly spoke with Gerard, who even personally came to my clubhouse where the reception was being held so we could plan the set up. He put together a tasting and the food was absolutely amazing. I knew right then and there that Sharkos would not disappoint. And they didn't. Every single person who came raved about the food. Gerard was at the wedding himself and personally put my husband and my plates together for us. Everything was as we wanted it. We were able to personalize things that made it special for us. We would highly, HIGHLY recommend Sharko's catering. In fact, we plan to use them again for some of our larger get togethers. You can't go wrong by hiring them.

I have received so many compliments on how great the food was at our wedding. Not only was the food delicious, but is very affordable! They are very professional and pleasant to do business with. I actually found Sharko online and decided to call them based on the amazing reviews they had. From my first call with Gerard I could tell they were extremely professional. He asked me a bunch of questions about the wedding and booked a tasting at my home that month so we could decide on our menu. He was very thorough and arrived on time. The food was so amazing that it made it that much harder to decide on a menu. The day of the wedding they arrived at my home and set everything up like we discussed. They went over and beyond what I was expecting them to do. All my guest complimented me on the amazing food and service they gave them. Gerard was there for every single step, as well as being there the day of my wedding to make sure it was perfect, and it definitely was. I would recommend them to everyone!

Sharko's catered a dinner for 100 people in celebration of our 50th Wedding anniversary. The food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and professional. Gerard was very helpful with the set up and gave us idea's that we had not even considered. He definilely went over and above to ensure that everything flowed smoothly on that day. Gerard and his staff do an amazing job, I have used Sharkos catering for many work events and everything was always flawless. So when we needed a caterer for my daughters wedding I only made 1 call and that was to Sharkos catering. Even the staff at the venue said they were the best catering company they had ever worked with. I had no worries on the big day for my daughter and son in law and we were all able to just relax and have fun while Gerard and his crew took care of everything..
I would recommend Sharkos to anyone for any type of event - they always deliver !!!

Our wedding was 12/5/15 so our review is long over due! Sharko's was the first company we tasted with back when we were in the process of choosing vendors. My (now) husband had said, after our tasting, that we did not need to taste with any other caterers as their food and service was THAT good!!! We did go on another formal tasting plus visiting 2 bridal shows with a ton of tastings, but Sharko's had the best food!! I like that they include china plates and real silverware in their pricing, as many other caterers considered this an upgrade and you had to pay extra. We also hired Sharko's for our bartender, and while I didn't deal with the bartender at the actual wedding, we got nothing but compliments and good feedback regarding that area. During the wedding, Sharko's staff made sure I (the bride) got my food first and then the groom, bridal party etc... They checked in with us to make sure we had what we needed...drinks, food etc. At the end of the night they even had boxed up the leftovers for us to take home (which was a considerable amount given a lot of no show guests)...unfortunately someone (not from the company) decided to take off with all the leftovers and we didn't get the late night grub fest we were hoping for, but it certainly is a testament to how good their food is. Since the wedding, everyone who talks to me about our event, always brings up how good the food was. We would definitely use Sharko's again for an event, or any reason for that matter!!

Sharkos did an incredible job at our wedding reception! From the beginning, they were quick to respond to any question or concern through email or by phone. They worked with our wedding coordinator at our reception venue to make sure everything was in place so the night could flow as it should. The food was delicious, the servers were very friendly and the presentation was beautiful. Despite having a large group to serve, everyone was served in a timely fashion. There were things that were out of our control on our wedding day, but it was a relief to know that we could trust Sharkos to provide a quality delicious meal to all our friends and family who came to celebrate our marriage.

Sharkos catered my daughter’s wedding on 5-1-2015 at the Secret Garden in Phoenix. It was a magical, perfect day and I have to say that one of the reasons it was so perfect was because we selected Sharkos. Gerard and Gary Sharko, along with their team of professionals, did an amazing job from start to finish. Gerard helped my daughter and her fiance make all the right selections with regard to food, linens, tableware, cake and all the little details. Gary was the one that made sure that on their wedding day everything was perfection. And believe me, it was! The staff that was there attended to every guest and made sure that everyone was well taken care of. Gary was so attentive to the bridal party and family of the bride and groom that I never had to even think about doing anything but enjoy this special day. The food tasted so delicious- I heard from so many of the guests that they loved the food and they had plenty to eat. Gary was kind enough to box up the leftovers and I had enough to serve my out of town guests the next day- what an added bonus! It was remarkable that such a high quality meal and service provided by Sharkos was also very affordable. Thank you Sharkos for all that you did for my daughter and her husband on their special day. You receive my highest recommendation and my deepest gratitude.

I could not be more pleased with Sharko’s catering my wedding. The food was phenomenal, and the service was just as amazing. Going through the wedding planning process of finding the best vendors is a daunting task. You discover along the way many vendors tend to nickel and dime with hidden costs. Many caterers would charge for using plates, silverware, and just common things you think should be included in a catering quote that wouldn’t be additional or an upgrade. Sharko’s was not a vendor that hid behind hidden costs. What you see if what you get, and at a very reasonable price. The guests raved about the food, options, and amount! They didn’t feel they couldn’t eat cause there were limits or being served small portions. Sharko’s wants to ensure your day is perfect, and understand that the food is an essential part of the success of your event. I cannot rave enough about how good, and how much food we received! We also got our cake through Sharko’s, and I have never had such a delicious cake. We ran out of cake when we estimated 20 more people than who showed! Gerard is who we communicated with at Sharko’s and he was very receptive, understanding, and accommodating with anything and everything. I would hope that if anyone is concerned or worried about who to choose for their caterer that they give Sharko’s consideration to put all of those worries at ease. I am so happy I found them, and could not have imagined a better wedding without them. Thank you for everything.

Sharkos Cartering is a A plus carter. They went out of the way to make my party extra special. They handed every thing with great attenuation . The server make it great in the way they haned the way every body got to the line to eat. Any body who needed help they took care of them. One of the things that they do is answer the phone . I called other caterer and had to leave my number and never got a call back till is to later. You get to talk to some body every time you call. The sharks family will give the best serves they can. My husband and I would like to thank Sharkos Catering for providing outstanding service for our wedding February 15th. The food was absolutely amazing! Our guest still rave about the delicious food. We hardly had any leftover because everyone enjoyed the food so much. Our buffet menu included carved to order sirloin beef, chicken florentine, garlic mashed potatoes, green beans morocco, garden salad, fresh rolls, and a coffee station. They provided all of the china, flatware, and linens. The price was very reasonable! Of course, I cannot forget to mention the outstanding customer service! Gerard and his staff even plated and served my husband and I at the reception and our grandparents. We cannot thank them enough for making our wedding so special! We highly recommend Sharkos Catering for their customer service and excellent food!

Hired Sharkos Catering to cater our 25th anniversary party in our back yard, we usually do these things on our own but wanted to just have a good time. Sharkos catering has now catered all three of our daughters wedding receptions esteemed professionalism and five star service. Everything was amazing! This family owned company did not disappoint.and exceeded my expectations. I was impressed with the initial appointment, the cake samples packaged to go, the quick response to emails, the exact replication of a picture of a cake from a magazine, the caterer scheduling a visit on his own to the venue beforehand when he could not reach the event coordinator, one of the services helping an elderly woman get back to her table, the quality of the food... I can go on and on but the fact that I took time on my honeymoon to write this should speak volumes. Thanks Sharko's for making our day great!

The food was AMAZING, the price reasonable and and Gerard and his staff were so helpful and professional through out the process. We had so many of our guests compliment them on the food and I noticed several of them going up for seconds and even thirds. Our buffet menu included Chicken Madeira, carved to order beef tenderloin, mastacolli marinara, rosemary carrots, garlic mashed potatoes and cesar salad! Gerard and his staff made the catering the easiest part of the wedding planning, which was no small feet since we were doing it from 3 hours away from our wedding and reception site in Scottsdale! Gerard and his staff even plated and served my husband and I at the reception and even packed up to go boxes for my husband I to have in our hotel after the reception! We also loved that this is a family owned and operated establishment and that they truly believe in the quality of their food and their customer service!
