My absolute FAVORITE vendor ever. Shannon is such a talented, kind, and fun photographer! I chose her initially because her photos were just so lively and colorful. Her editing style is superb! The added bonus is that she is seriously the sweetest person ever and she made me feel so comfortable.
We first met in person at my family photo session the day before our wedding and we all loved her! I think my mom wanted to steal her to keep her around forever as our family photographer 😂
Even my husband who hates taking pictures said how much he loved working with Shannon! He said she was a “hype queen” who kept the energy up and good vibes all day.
Shannon even gave me a fan to cool me off while taking pictures, helped hold my dress while walking, and gave us recommendations on our honeymoon in Kauai.
She set the bar VERY high for my expectations with photographers in the future. I think I’m just going to have to travel to her each time I need a photo session 😂
Shannon is the BEST!! Book this girl you won’t regret it! -

We are SO happy we chose Shannon Sasaki as our wedding photographer. From start to finish, she was an absolute joy to work with—and her photos speak for themselves.
We looked at a lot of photographers, but Shannon’s work immediately caught our eye. Her colors are bold, vibrant, and full of life; exactly what we were looking for! Our full gallery has blown us away; she captured the emotion and energy of the day beautifully.
Our wedding was in May, right before peak season, and Shannon turned everything around quickly. Any minor edits we asked for were done perfectly. On top of all that, there were lovely little touches throughout the process, like a complimentary engagement shoot and a gorgeous box and print she sent with the final images.
But beyond the quality of her work, Shannon herself is just the BEST. She’s hilarious, warm, and made everyone feel completely at ease. My husband isn’t usually one for big smiles in photos, but Shannon had us both laughing and relaxed all day; it really shows in every picture.
We couldn’t recommend her enough, just book her! -

Shannon is amazing. I first met her when she shot one of my best friends from college's wedding (YEARS ago!). I remembered what a great experience my friend had, so I reached out and was thrilled that she was available for our date. She even remembered my friend's wedding! Shannon is super fun and easy to work with, and was super responsive from day one. She was also so kind and responsive when a situation arose unexpectedly after (thank again so much for that, Shannon).
From the ceremony to the reception- we, as well as our guests enjoyed working with her and are SO glad she was there to capture our special day...Shannon has such amazing energy and positivity- would def hire her again!!

I first met Shannon when my sister hired Shannon as her wedding photographer in 2021 and I was part of the bridal party. Shannon's attention to detail immediately stuck out to me, as well as her incredible personality. As someone who usually feels awkward during any photoshoots, her ability to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera was so refreshing. I knew from that moment that I wanted to work with Shannon again, and she was the first vendor we reached out to and hired as soon as my partner and I got engaged, 3 years later! As expected, our entire experience with Shannon has been wonderful and it feels like we were working with a friend! She is very professional, but is also like the ultimate hype woman and just so easy to talk to. We just received our online gallery and loved reliving our special day all over again through Shannon's beautiful photos! -

Our experience with Shannon was exceptional! She provided top-notch service, very responsive, and exceeded our expectations.
Where do we begin. I am local to Hawaii but due to work, my wife and I have been planning our wedding from Virginia and flew back home for our big day. That being said, despite the time difference, communication with Shannon was seamless and incredibly professional throughout the process and making meetings fit according to our schedule. From our very first initial meeting with Shannon, it was very comforting and our conversations flowed naturally. At the end of the call, we left moving forward with her being our photographer. On the day of the wedding, she captured amazing photos exceeding our expectations to include one of our favorite kissing photo with our family in the back having the time of their lives at our wedding. She understood our vision and more. Shannon was always prepared and even when the weather didn't cooperate, she already had a backup plan ready to go ensuring we still have incredible shots (which we did). We highly recommend Shannon! -

Shannon was an amazing photographer! From photo shooting my engagement photos, down to my Wedding Day. She definitely came through, and took great pictures of what I wanted her to capture. We finally got a chance to view our photos and all we can say is, “WOW!” We just kept looking at each other, completely speechless. These photos captured the true essence of our personalities, our family, friends, and our love. After we were done, we were EXHAUSTED! WHEW!!! LOL! We really felt like we were at our wedding all over again; dancing, and all. Your work and artistry are unmatched. We can’t believe that it’s OUR wedding is captured in those photos. You guys didn’t miss ANYTHING! You listened to our vision and made it come to life. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, AND THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES! We will definitely go back to Honolulu, but even if we don’t, we both agree that YOU are our unofficial resident photographer! (LBVVS).

Amazing wonderful experience!
Shannon and her team were AMAZING!! She is so personable, so nice, so caring, funny, silly, enthusiastic.. I cannot say more positive things about the experience. Unbelievable
From start to finish, Shannon was such a gem. Given we were doing a destination wedding she was open to interviewing via facetime and answering any and all questions. She was interested in getting to know us as a couple. Leading up to the day she was available to help tailor our timeline. On the big day, she brought such an incredible energy and vibe that was unforgettable. And lastly, the PICTURES! the quality, the color...AMAZING! I can't recommend her enough. And her prices are budget friendly/reasonable as well. Book with her you won't be disappointed. -

Hire local, Hawaii's best photographer
Shannon Sasaki is the best wedding photographer on the island. As a person who was born and raised on the island, it was important for me to pick someone local, someone who knew the island. Not only is Shannon professional, she is also someone who is down for adventure. She will hike up hills and push through tall grass and bushes to get the best shot. Working with her and her team was a dream. And the pictures!! Amazing. -

Throughout our planning process, when we were photographer shopping, we came across Shannon's profile. We set up a zoom meetup and we instantly clicked with her personality. She showed us some weddings she shot at our wedding venue and they were beautiful. She was also recommended to us through one of my friends from college. We booked an engagement session with her and she made us feel so comfortable in front of a camera. She was always prompt and kept us in the loop of details and asked what wedding shots we wanted. Her prices were very reasonable as well! I will most certainly be hiring her for our next milestones! -

Shannon totally brought it for our wedding and "trash the dress" shoot. She is incredibly responsive, friendly, and not to mention professional! We were both pretty nervous and stiff but she helped us get comfortable and pose correctly. She also knows all the best spots and times to get photos, so listen to her suggestions!!

Shannon and Aaron are amazing! Their laid back nature and ease to speak with made them feel like they were actual guests . With having the second photographer we loved seeing a different perspective in our photos. It was a nice addition and maximised our limited timeframe that we booked. Shannon has a flare for working with natural light and edits the photos beautifully. Working with her was a choice we'd happily make again! -

Nothing short of quality, comfort, and fun!
It has been such a wonderful experience to work with Shannon! We first worked with her when we booked her for our engagement photos, but we had her booked for our wedding too! Shannon really makes you feel comfortable and she makes the whole photo posing process fun! I highly recommend her! Our photos turned out amazing- we're ordering our prints to send to far away family, etc. We can't wait to share them with our loved ones! Again, we are sooooo impressed with our photos and the way Shannon captured our special day! If you're looking for a photographer that is fun to work with, makes you feel comfortable, takes amazing photos, goes with the flow, can provide extra help and suggestions (trust me- Shannon's got you if you have no idea how to even go about timelines and such)... the answer is simple- book Shannon! -

I met Shannon years ago through a mutual friend when she was just starting out and have watched her grow her business and talent and I knew from the very beginning that I wanted her to photograph my most special day...even before I met my husband! I just had to have her as my photographer and told her right away when we got engaged.
Shannon is such an amazing soul and REALLY fun to work with. She's creative with her work and has great suggestions when you don't have ideas. Her work with nature is what really caught my attention and I was drawn to the vibrant colors that she finds in a setting/background to enhance the mood of her work.
She's also quite patient with the inexperienced, as we had some issues with my husband being nervous. haha! She was great at making us laugh or get in the moment so our photos looked natural.
Shannon is very experienced with weddings and was helpful in telling us what locations may or may not work to get us the pictures we wanted within the tight timeline we had. She also had great suggestions for when our other vendors fell thru which shows she has a great relationship with many other people in the wedding business.
We are so grateful for Shannon and the time we got to spend with her for our celebration of love!

Shannon shot me and my fiancé while on vacation. She suggested Makapuu which was beautiful. We were able to get so many different shots in one location, which was great. And she made us both feel comfortable and just have fun. When she was done with the re-touches she sent us the photos in a Dropbox as well as this awesome personalized USB package with the photos. -

We are so happy that we chose Shannon Sasaki as our wedding photographer. First of all, her work is pure, raw talent. She has the eye and the skill to capture the most precious and memorable moments. All of my wedding photos are pieces of art!! I can't get over how amazing they turned out! She has a natural approach that allows the true beauty to shine. Second, her and Aaron were SO much fun to work with. Me and my husband are pretty awkward and nervous when we have a camera pointing towards us, but Shannon made us feel very comfortable to just relax and open up behind the camera. In turn, this great skill made us look more natural in our photos :)
I highly recommend Shannon over and over again. -
