Amazing Photos!

We hired The Vondy’s as the photographers for our wedding in November. From the first meeting, we knew we made the right decision. They were so wonderful to work with and the pictures came out gorgeous. There was a mini-engagement session included and even though we weren’t going to get engagement photos, we were glad we did. They are wonderful photos. Shannon and Justin are friendly, prepared and will blend right into your wedding seamlessly. They are both there shooting, so the bride and groom are well taken care of with detail photos and getting ready photos. They also arranged and captured a first look for us that was awesome. Hire the Vondy’s, I promise you won’t regret it, they are worth every penny.

I work as a vendor in the film industry and have had the opportunity to be around photographers and filmmakers for over 30 years. The experience we had with Shannon Lee images was so extraordinary and seamless in EVERY way. They raise the bar to the highest possible standard for gorgeous images at a competitive price. Shannon, Justin and their team are professional and personal. They were precise but engaging and relaxed. They made the entire wedding party feel so comfortable that the photos they captured were completely authentic. The love and joy between bride and groom, wedding party, family and guests were captured in every shot.

One of the benefits of having Shannon to the Save The Dates and Engagement Photos was that we already had the opportunity to experience the exceptionally creative and high quality of the work. We were 100% confident that we had hired the right team to shoot the wedding. Proofs came on time, orders were delivered in beautiful packaging.

We met Shannon Lee Images through a mutual friend and instantly connected with them as people and photographers. From the first meeting and every encounter forward they exceeded our expectations. Not only do they take gorgeous pictures they are the nicest people. We love all our engagement photos, wedding photos, albums, guest books, etc. They also have great knowledge of the wedding industry as a whole and want your whole day to be successful - not just your pictures. We used Shannon & Justin @ Shannon Lee Images for our wedding day and I am not even sure where to begin. Shannon & Justin took our engagement photos as well as our wedding day photos. These guys are the best around. Their attention to detail is amazing as well as their artistic eye for photography. Shannon & Justin always had great ideas that were always 100% spot on. They are prompt, courteous, and professional. They listen to what you really want and know how to carry it out flawlessly.

In addition to being completely amazing photographers, they are completely easy and awesome to be around. Let's be honest, you are around your photographers for an extended amount of time throughout your engagement and wedding photos; you want to be around someone you like! These guys are so easy and fun to be around...it's definitely a great bonus.

Our photos came out absolutely amazing and we made the best decision by using Shannon & Justin @ Shannon Lee Images. I highly recommend that you do too.

She is by far the best photographer ever! I came across her work through a good friend of mine and feel in love with her work. But once I had met her my husband and I feel in love with her personality and how much we connected as artists. She's awesome and worth every penny! She's super professional and all your photos come in really nice packages and a lollipop!

Not only are her photographs stunning and among the best wedding photos I've ever seen, but Shannon and Justin are professional, organized, efficient and extremely knowledgable and experienced. Shannon got my whole crazy family under control and quickly snapped their beautiful pictures. She really knows how to capture a moment and has the wonderful talent of being able to make her subjects laugh and smile. I can't stop looking at our photos. Shannon Lee Images is the best!!!

Not only were our engagement photos amazing but our wedding photos came out better than we ever could've imagined!

Shannon & Justin are the best couple of photographers that anyone could ever have. They are so friendly and attentive and made our special day so comfortable and stress free.

We were looking for a photographer who would document our wedding in a way that would allows us to re-live it many years later. Shannon Lee and Justin delivered that and more!
Planning: Shannon had a challenge right off the bat working with us. I was in NYC, my then fiancé was in Chicago, and Shannon and our wedding location were in L.A. Yet, even across three different time zones Shannon made it work. We conference called and made it work! The planning was smooth all the way and she was so pleasant to work with. We were having a very difficult time with our potential venue, at times I wanted to throw in the towel and elope and take Shannon with us. We often said “At least we have Shannon for our wedding, thank God.” When we talked to Shannon and shared our troubling times she was very empathetic and HELPFUL, she offered suggestions and provided references. She was so supportive! Since we were based out of town, we had to wait for our in person planning meeting until the holidays. We met at a Starbucks and at this time we met Justin, her co-pilot and fiancé. They really dedicated time to inform of us of our options, showed us samples of products, and talked about our wedding details
Wedding day: Shannon and Justin were outstanding the day of and very professional. They made sure to capture all of the “must have shots,” and unique shots that only an artist can see. At various times Shannon said “Uh!” I had no idea what she was referring to but, once we saw the pictures, we saw what she was referring to, AMAZING SHOTS!
The Pictures: We got so many complements on the pictures and that they really captured the day. Hiring Shannon and Justin was one of the best decisions we made. We look forward to taking family shots once we get our dog and hopefully one day, our child.

Shannon and Justin photographed our wedding day, and everything turned out wonderfully! They are incredibly flexible and friendly, while being professional at the same time. Our wedding pictures turned about even more beautiful than I could have imagined. Throughout the process and on the wedding day, Shannon was great with working with our style and timeline and answering my millions of questions! She had such unique ideas for photos that fit perfectly into what we had wanted. And, Shannon and Justin made the entire process a fun time for us, as well as for our wedding party and our families! I would recommend Shannon Lee to anyone time and time again!

We cannot say enough good things about Shannon and Justin. We met with several photographers, but Shannon and Justin were by far our favorite. They were fun to be around, easy going, and incredibly professional. We never felt pressured by them to buy additional services, and they were always understanding of our budget and aesthetic.

They made us feel at ease in front of the camera (which, for me, is no easy task), and were able to capture some truly beautiful candid moments that tell the story of our wedding day. We were blown away by our photographs and are consistently getting compliments on them from friends and family. We would highly recommend Shannon Lee Images!

We LOVE Shannon Lee! A year or two ago, we did a mini-session with Shannon and loved the results. When we decided – at the last minute – to get married during a California vacation, Shannon was the first person we talked to. She was thrilled to fly up to San Francisco and spend a few hours with us. Ours was a non-traditional wedding, with just us (two women) and a judge. No big ceremony. No guests. No reception. Shannon came up with a custom plan to meet our needs and helped us capture the day. She and Justin even agreed to be our witnesses! They’re so comfortable to be around, and have a great eye for what makes a beautiful shot. Plus, there’s that something extra… these aren’t just pictures. They’re really works of art. What’s especially wonderful for us is how supportive they were of us as a couple and our desire to be married like anyone else. Shannon Lee Images is a great choice for anyone!

I have been part of or attended many weddings over my lifetime. In this case, I was the mother of the bride. Shannon and her team were absolutely the most pleasant that I have ever encountered. First of all, during the time that we were getting ready for the wedding, always a bit of a stressful time, we hardly knew she was there, and yet the photographs that she produced were magnificent! I still tear up when I look at them. She truly captured all the emotion of those last few moments before I walked my daughter down the aisle. We had some very specific pictures that we wanted to have and so she and Justin made sure to capture those special moments...the first moment that Kiel and Jen saw each other as Jen walked down the path to the ceremony, the bouquet with her late father's picture in it's locket etc. There was such an intimacy in the photos. They captured all the love and joy that was present on this special day. I honestly cannot say enough positive things about them. Each time that I would think, "I wish I had a picture of this", I would turn around and see one of them taking a picture of it! I would recommend them to anyone, any time for any occasion! They are amazing!!!!!!!!!!! I love you Shannon and Justin!! Thank you Thank You Thank You!!!!!!

Shannon Lee Images is absolutely awesome! Shannon's pictures are the most gorgeous wedding pictures ever. She captures the natural light like no one I have seen. I could not believe how amazing our pictures turned out. I would have paid twice as much to get pictures that great. On top of her stunning pictures, Shannon is the most amazing person. She is laid back but will also make sure to get every shot you want. You will definitely not be sorry if you book Shannon Lee Images.

Can I give Shannon 10 stars? I would if I could. We loved her from the start. She is funny and lovely and so incredibly talented. Shannon was extremely helpful in helping us create a timeline for the wedding day. On the day-of, she was comfortable and easy-going in a way that was very helpful given how nervous and high-energy we were. The photos capture not simply the beauty of the landscape and the people involved, but evoke the feeling of the wedding itself.

We hired Shannon to take pictures for both our engagement and our wedding and they were all amazing!!! Shannon is not only an extremely talented photographer, but was also wonderful to work with. She was willing to accommodate all our requests for different photo sessions and her enthusiasm made those sessions super fun!

As the groom, I didn't care about many of the wedding details. I just wanted to get married, enjoy the celebration with family and friends and be done with it. Colors? Cake? Flowers? "Yes, dear. I love all of these choices. Whatever you want." But, I did have one requirement: I wanted to choose the photographer.

I have seen dozens of friends' wedding photos over the years and a lot of them seemed amateurish, predictable, something anyone with a digital camera could take. No, I wanted someone who would capture the essence of our special day and then some.

We also wanted to include our little pups in both our engagement session and wedding. It was difficult to find a photographer who was good with pets AND weddings. We would easily find one or the other, but not both. Shannon was perfect! From the moment we met her to plan our engagement session to the delivery of our wedding albums, she has been nothing but professional, friendly, attentive... the list goes on. Attributes you don't NEED in a photographer, but it sure is nice to have.

You sort of have this idea in your mind about how the photos from your special day will turn out after seeing other peoples' sessions. The expectation is high. Well, Shannon met and exceeded that expectation. She puts in extra effort to make you feel like you're her only client. As in the title to my review, I wish I had more occasions to hire Shannon Lee Images, but I only plan on getting married once. Kids? Meh. More Chihuahuas? Why not...

Oh, lest I forget, Shannon's assistant and right hand man is also the bomb. He is great as a 2nd shooter and is always full of compliments to make you feel like the most dapper groom in the history of weddings.

My wife and I couldn’t have been happier choosing Shannon to document our wedding. She was friendly, energetic, and casual. Shortly after our first few shots during our engagement session, my wife and I dropped our barriers of self-consciousness. The casualness and humor between Shannon and her co-photographer dissolved our anxiety. Overall, I am extremely pleased to have trusted Shannon with our wedding. She exceeded our expectations. I really believe that we enjoyed our wedding more because she got us feeling comfortable early on.

I couldn't recommend Shannon Lee Images enough. Long before we started wedding planning, I already had our photographer picked out. Shannon was amazing to work with, helped us get organized for the day in terms of meeting/times and photo locations (which is extremely helpful when you're already frazzled from all of the other planning details), and she was always quick to respond (either by email or phone.) The REAL reason I chose her - she's amazingly talented. So many times I've said, "Oh I wish this photo shows how beautiful it really was at the moment." Well, she manages to do this! I cannot thank her enough for capturing our big and most special day. ((Not to mention, the HUNDREDS of compliments I've been getting about how gorgeous our wedding photos are!)) I'm so, so happy she was a part of our day!

Shannon is very personable and I felt like I have known her forever and we were best friends from the moment that I first called her to book her for my wedding and engagement photos. There are a TON of photographers out there that take pictures, but not many of them have the artistic eye that she has. She just GETS it. There is a huge difference between taking a picture and capturing memories beautifully that will be preserved forever and she does just that. I have received countless compliments on my wedding photos and photo album and one of my really good friends even booked her for her wedding after she saw my photos. I remember discussing with her the first time that I talked to her that I am very self conscious and my one eye likes to close when my picture is being taken and somehow MAGICALLY she managed to take hundreds of photographs where I look beautiful (as I imagine when I look in a mirror) with no weird semi-closed eye. I know it sounds kind of silly, but she is able to catch you at the right moment, the perfect angle and delivers photographs that you WANT to show everyone and are proud of. She does live in Cali and I live in St. Louis, MO so it is competitive when it comes to booking with her, so book fast. Also, she is not your bargain photographer, but worth every last penny. Besides, you get what you pay for. I always told my now husband I do not care how much I spend on wedding photos as long as they are beautiful. Every funeral I have been to, golden age birthday party, or family gathering where loved ones are reminiscing... what pictures do everyone look at? Wedding photos. And everyone oohs and aahs over how young everyone looks and says "Do you remember when so and so was alive?"... These photos will continue to tell our story for generations to come. What are you waiting for? Call her.

I was so lucky to stumble on this amazing photographer. I love the way she captures moments instead of trying to make them. You can really see peoples personalities through her work. She was so fun and fantastic at my wedding that 2 of my friends have used her since for their weddings. I love to show my wedding album to friends and family, she captured so much of the emotion of that day. She has become a great friend that we look forward to using for years to come.
