I am blown away by our wedding photos. Shanna was amazing to work with, and she's an amazing person which made our wedding day so much more fun! We had several family circumstances to navigate around during portraits and it was definitely a concern for us going into the wedding. Shanna handled everything so well we never even noticed it was all happening. Also, our venue was a nightmare to work with, repainting our original photo spot just 2 months before our wedding and Shanna managed to find a spot that perfectly blended our styles together. So so glad Shanna was our photographer! -

I don’t even know where to begin. Shanna is AMAZING, beyond patient, creative, thoughtful and so sweet!!! My husband and I knew right away we wanted Shanna to be our photographer, and BOY were we right! From the very beginning Shanna and her husband Dale made everything so easy and simple for us. They work so well together. I trusted her creativity and LOVED everything about our photos.
Shanna, thank you so much for taking the stress off my shoulders, guiding us through every step, having to deal with me when I was going crazy and for making us feel comfortable when we had no idea what we were doing. LOL. Thank you for going above and beyond and capturing our forever moments perfectly ❤️ -

Shanna + her husband, Dale are THE BEST! We hired SCP to do our engagement session and wedding and we are so thrilled with how everything turned out! From the initial email/meet-up, Shanna immediately makes you feel at ease and comfortable, like a warm hug. Shanna has a great presence about her that makes you feel like you've known her for years and she is very down-to-earth. Even when talking with her about the different package options, it didn't feel like a sales pitch and she didn't try to pressure us into purchasing anything we didn't want/need. My husband and I were a little weary about our engagement session because we didn't want to look stiff or awkward, but Shanna was great at giving us tips on how to pose and explained what she was doing before positioning us (ie keeping my fingers closed during close ups of my ring) and we felt SO COMFORTABLE. Shanna and Dale were professional, but we also got to know them on a personal level (lovers of Disney and foodies) and we felt like we were friends at the end of the session.
On our wedding day, we felt the same comfort during all the photos as we did during our engagement session. Our guests raved about how on point they were, especially during the reception when we went around to all the tables for photos and Dale prepped the next table of guests ahead of time. We loved that SCP captured some of the behind the scenes pictures, like the NFL playoff game all the guys were "secretly" watching throughout the night and the number of yawns hubby had throughout the night. We loved how our photos turned out and after almost a year later, we still talk about Shanna and Dale as if they are friends we've known for years. We HIGHLY recommend SCP! You guys are amazing and hope we can work with you guys in the very near future!

AMAZING Photographer!
We are so glad we hired Shanna! We purchased the engagement/wedding package. We really wanted to take our engagement pictures in Hawaii! So, we flew Shanna out and had the best time with the shoot! Shanna was getting eaten alive by bugs while taking our pictures! She's the real MVP! The pictures came out AMAZING!
A day before our wedding we found out our wedding venue had to be evacuated due to the Malibu fires. Shanna called me and immediately started helping us find another venue. She lifted my spirits that day. She is just an amazing person!
Our wedding pictures came out GORGEOUS! I love all of them! Shanna and Dale captured every single emotion. You can see it in the photographs. Again, we are so glad we picked Shanna to capture our special day! We highly recommend her! Love you Shanna!! -

Shanna and Dale were so great to work with! From the day we met them for our initial meeting (before we decided on hiring them for our engagement and wedding photos), we already knew they were the ones for us. They're so easy to talk to and it's obvious that they're a good team because they're married, themselves. They took the time to really get to know us to help make our photos and video personalized for us.
They're very prompt with every meeting we had with each other. The pictures and video turned out so nice! I've gotten compliments from almost every person I know who's seen them. I told Shanna that she's my photographer for life and I mean it! -

Shanna and her husband were so fun to work with! She was so sweet and I could tell loves photography. I was happy with our pictures and she was able to deliver them in such a short time. I would definitely recommend her to friends and family :) -

Engagement/Wedding Package
Where do I even begin?
Save yourself the stress, time, and hassle and book Shanna for your photography!
If you are anything like my husband and I - we don't take photos often and are pretty awkward but somehow Shanna was immediately able to make us feel comfortable during our Engagement Shoot and made it more than just "taking photos". She really has a gift about getting you out of your comfort zone and really being in the moment. By the time we had our wedding we were already excited to take photos (which is so rare for my husband and I).
She is so creative and really has an eye on different photo opportunities at whatever location you are at. For our engagement shoot - my husband and I had no idea where we should take them and of course Shanna came to the rescue with amazing suggestions. On the day of our engagement shoot you can tell she had really thought about the shots that we were taking.
When it came to our wedding, I was a little worried because we got married at a new venue so there weren't many photo opportunities that I could think of. Shanna totally thought outside the box and had so many different ideas to take photos and in the end we LOVED our photos.
Shanna also has a real gift of getting candid photos. She took so many amazing candid photos at our wedding that we could relive each moment. She really is amazing!
I tell everyone now that people don't tell you that the ability for a photographer to get you comfortable with taking photos is important. I can't tell you the horror stories I have heard of photographers just waiting for you to figure out your own poses and shots.
Shanna is creative, personable and her prices are SUPER REASONABLE! My husband and I love our photos so much that he is allowing me to share some photos publicly which is also very rare. -

Ian Sent on 06/25/2018Save yourself some time and book Shanna. We went online and posted multiple requests online as well as asked all our friends and family for their best references, we had probably over 30+ photographers to choose from and Shanna topped them all.
She is the type of person that constantly goes that extra step on her own accord. We posted on Facebook for local photographers, Shanna not only responded with her resume but took that extra personal step to reach out directly as well. Her photography service package we selected included an engagement photo-session (but we were already engaged), she took the time and did a personal shoot for us anyways.
Shanna has an impressive talent, not only in her photography, but in mixing professionalism with comfort. Me and my wife are not used to taking photos together at all, but her experience and awesome energetic personality made it so easy and enjoyable.
Seriously, she's that good. -
