Choosing a photographer for our wedding was not an easy task. I had a huge list of photographers I wanted to contact based on quality of photos, pricing, experience, and knowledge of my venue (Marblegate Farm). I wanted to find that classic “bright and airy” look that would show off the beautiful, natural greenery/floral of my venue. Finally after hours of searching, I found Shane and Beth with Shane Hawkins Photography! What a relief because they were wonderful and so easy going from the very beginning. They even traveled all the way to Max Patch (on the top of the mountains) in very cold weather for my engagement session! They were so down to earth and made the entire session a breeze. Once I received my engagement photos I instantly knew I made the best decision for my wedding photographers. THEY WERE PERFECT! Fast forward to my wedding day and this is where Shane and Beth absolutely shine! They are the perfect team and put everyone at ease on what can be a very hectic day. Shane will perfect each shot and Beth ensures the brides (hair, makeup, dress/veil, and bouquet) are perfectly in place. They went as far as ensuring I had a water at one point when I started feeling very light headed due to the heat in June! They are just so sweet and you will not be disappointed by choosing them for your photographers for your wedding! This is a huge decision and you will take comfort knowing they are the best choice! Your photos will be stunning!!

Shane Hawkins photography was probably one of the best things about our wedding! I cannot get over how GORGEOUS all of our photos turned out. They captured every moment I asked for and then some! Looking at the photos makes me feel like I’m reliving every aspect of my favorite day! Shane and Beth were so incredible to work with and so professional. Beth assisted me and my mom secure me in my dress, they repined my bustle after it broke, & they even went and got our first cocktail for us as the new Mr. & Mrs… I mean what other photographer would go that extra mile?! Needless to say they are the best of the best and I would recommend them over and over again!

Amazing photographers!
I cannot say enough great things about Shane and Beth! Shane took our engagement pictures and they both worked together on our wedding day. When looking for a photographer to do either of these pictures, I wanted someone who did not do so much editing on the photos that it looked unnatural; the brightness and natural look of the photographs taken make them beautiful in my opinion. Shane and Beth are so kind and truly take their time getting to know you while they're working. They also were willing to assist in any other way they could (like bustling my dress after the ceremony). Not only do they do great work, but they are great people and I highly recommend them!

Posing for pictures often feels very awkward and leads to unpleasant smiles, but Shane and Beth made us feel very comfortable and relaxed so that our engagement and wedding photo shoots felt natural, and even fun! A dynamic duo!
Shane & Beth are a power duo! After seeing them beautiful capture a friend’s wedding, I couldn’t imagine anyone else shooting my wedding and they hit it out of the park! When Covid changed our plans big time, Shane and Beth were quick to pivot from our 150 person wedding to 25 person wedding and captured it absolutely beautifully. Amazing Editing, Dynamic Husband & Wife Duo
I searched long and hard for a photographer whose photos were “light and bright” but not washed out, had experience at my wedding venue (Marblegate Farm), and were reasonably priced for the industry. I am so thankful I chose Shane & Beth. They are well-loved and respected by both my wedding planner and the venue coordinator and it is no surprise as to why. Not only are the photos absolutely gorgeous and masterfully edited, they are one of the sweetest couples to work with. I love Shane’s attention to detail from a photography standpoint while Beth ensures that your hair/dress/veil/flowers are perfectly situated (very important to me as these things make or break a photo!) They are also such a calming presence on your wedding day and make sure to capture plenty of photos without making you feel stressed or rushed. For photos you will cherish for the rest of your life, you absolutely want to choose the right photographer. I highly recommend Shane Hawkins!

A Joy to Work With
Beth and Shane were a joy to work with from the beginning and the pictures are fantastic! Their responsiveness is great, they are professional, and make you feel at ease. Neither my spouse or I particularly like being the center of attention or having our pictures taken, but they made us feel at ease. On the day of the wedding I hardly knew they were there; they did their job without making me feel like they were following me around. Recommend them 100%.

Affordable, Friendly, and Great Quality Photos
I hired Shane + Beth to photograph my wedding after they did such an amazing job on my sister's wedding in 2016. They also took our engagement photos, when my now husband, proposed to me. So, they were there for it ALL..and captured the moments so perfectly :) Shane and Beth incorporated their ideas but were also open to hearing mine and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. What I love about most about their photos are the quality. When considering photographer choices, there were a lot of photographers that applied heavy filters and dramatic effects to photos, but I wanted my pictures to look clean, sharp, and real. In addition to amazing photos, Beth was pretty much the MVP of my wedding and every photo shoot - she fixed my hair, she was the ONLY person who could snap my bustle, she held my things, she kept me on schedule, she found my garter, and she made sure everything was perfect before the photo was taken. Shane takes amazing photos, but having this husband/wife tag team made all the difference. Beth also takes photos, so it was like having two photographers in one. Lastly, they were affordable. Wedding planning can get really discouraging when the price tags start to add up. I was happy that Shane and Beth had reasonable pricing. Thanks Shane and Beth for capturing this special time in my life!

We LOVED having them at our wedding and we did our engagement pics with them! Our guests said how amazing it was to see pictures of them later but that they didn’t notice photographers during the ceremony like they have at other weddings which they loved bc the pictures are AMAZING!!! Amazing Photographers and Attentive to Detail
Shane and Beth are wonderful!! They truly captured our day perfectly! My favorite part is their attention to detail. While Shane took some amazing photos Beth straightened out my dress, or a fly away hair, or blotted the tears from my eyes. Everything to make sure the picture turned out well! They are the best! During our engagement shoot they made us feel so comfortable even though I was a tad bit nervous. Before the end of the shoot I felt comfortable and could be myself for the photos. On our wedding day Beth followed me around while I greeted all the guests and took pictures with them. We could not have asked for better photographers! I feel like we are really friends after the event! I would highly recommend them!

We got married on a rainy day and moved the venue the morning of the event, (06/08/19), Beth and Shane were flexible with the move and the images came to life that I had in my head. I have had my photo taken many times before. Who hasn't?! My wife had high expectations that I didn't think anyone could meet. Shane and Beth gave us what we wanted and even more. From the engagement photos, working around our chaotic schedule or agreeing to our long list of must have family photos, Shane and Beth kept it fun, professional, and productive. You will get incredible value and high quality photos. We were convinced we were movie stars from the responses we got from Facebook of our photos. I feel a bit awkward when people are taking my photo but they made it all very comfortable and natural. They had great ideas for poses and positioning that still gave a natural feel, they even found a little field behind our venue to take some photos of us away from all of the hustle and bustle. They have a wonderful way of quickly directing people where to stand while still being patient and incredibly kind (sometimes things can get a little hectic with a ton of family members). Beth and Shane are such kind hearted individuals who are very gifted in photography! My husband and I loved having them as our photographers. Pictures are one of the biggest investments of your special day, and after the day is said and done, those pictures are what's left for memories; so making sure you book an awesome photographer to capture every special moment, is vital! Shane and Beth went above and beyond and I couldn't be happier with the end-result. Let me start by saying, I am very particular and picky about my photos, what camera is used, resolution, lighting, etc... and Shane and Beth nailed every photo perfectly. Not only are they very talented at what they do, but they're passionate about it and that's very evident in their work. Their personalities are super easygoing, which makes working with them a breeze. Additionally, they're very professional- meaning they're dependable, very communicative, and personable. Their attention to detail never ceases to amaze me; they are sure to capture the tiniest of details when needed, yet know when to omit those same details when they're not adding to the photo. Shane and Beth have captured my engagement photos, wedding/reception photos, and 2 family shoots since meeting them and their work has always consistently been fantastic. So if you're looking for someone to capture your special day, I would HIGHLY recommend them; you will not be disappointed. Remember, it takes more than a fancy camera to capture great and memorable shots.
Where to begin!? Not only are they fabulous photographers, but Beth and Shane are hands down some of the BEST people I've ever met. After much searching to find a quality, yet affordable, photographer, I settled on Shane Hawkins Photography. Not sure exactly what to expect, Beth and Shane took my vision for my engagement photos and absolutely blew it out of the water. They made being in front of the camera so comfortable! And the photos - wow! I honestly couldn't ask for more stunning engagement photos. So, when it came time for the big day, I knew they would deliver....but they literally went above and beyond for my husband and me. They were so much more than just our photographers. They brought light and joy to the day and managed to capture so many emotions and special memories. Looking through the photos, you can just feel the emotions behind each one, and I am so eternally grateful for how they brought the day to life through photos. These photos mean the world to me. I gave my grandfather who is battling dementia a photo book with these pictures in it, and he looks at it almost daily. He recites all of our names - I think the pictures help him remember us. Again, I cannot express how fantastic this team is. They are worth every penny and so much more! Beth and Shane, from the bottom of my heart, thank you! Keep up the great work!

We absolutely loved working with Shane and Beth! They photographed both our wedding and engagement pictures and were so fun to work with. The first night we planned to do our engagement pictures ended up getting rained out and Shane and Beth were so flexible to work with us on scheduling a new date that worked for us since we were an out of town couple. One thing we loved is how attentive they were to every detail - if your hair or dress were out of place Beth always was quick to notice and fix it! We could not have been more impressed with the quality of both sets of our pictures! Also, it was so fun to work with another young and in love couple - they were so easy to connect with!

After my husband proposed my first “plan the wedding” phone call was to Shane Hawkins Photography. I finally had a chance to have professional pictures taken! After years of challenging photos and expanding insecurities, I prayed for God to guide me into the hands of a photographer who understood my imperfections, and compassionately would help me achieve beautiful engagement and bridal photos. My prayers were answered when I found out Shane and Beth had available dates for both sessions. Shane Hawkins Photography photographed my son and daughter-in-law's September 12, 2015 wedding ceremony and reception at Dara's Garden in Knoxville, Tennessee. Shane and Beth, a husband and wife team, are wonderful to work with - they are friendly, caring, professional, and go about their photography with great artistry. They were very accommodating at my son's wedding. We had some iffy weather issues (turned out to be a nice day), and my son and daughter-in-law constructed a 1920's "It's only a paper moon" photo booth complete with props. Shane and Beth took turns - one shooting the photo booth, the other photographing the reception. The photographs captured the joy, the beauty, and the special moments of the day. We had Shane and Beth put together a wedding album for my son and daughter - in - law, which we gave to them for Christmas. The album was absolutely gorgeous - very artistically arranged, leather bound and packaged in a matching leather box. Shane Hawkins Photography was a pleasure to work with, and their work is wonderful!

We were so blessed to have Shane Hawkins Photography capture our Big Day! My (now) husband is an officer in the U.S. Navy and I am currently in medical school. To say the least, the time leading up to the wedding was sparse and hectic. However, that did not interfere with Shane and Beth. My husband and I agreed that we would not take any chances on our wedding photos so we chose our photographer carefully. We were looking for a photographer who would be professional, flexible, creative and FUN. We did a TON of research and came across Shane Hawkins Photography. Luckily for us, they we available the weekend of our wedding.
During our engagement photo session, we were quickly impressed by the professionalism and knowledge that Beth and Shane possessed. Working with them became natural. They provided classy pictures and captured quality moments. I was so overwhelmed with how comfortable Max and I were, and how well they were able to expose our personalities through photography. We were so impressed with how well the pictures turned out! After the engagement session, Beth made sure to stay in contact with both Max and I. They were both organized and proactive regarding our expectations and wedding schedule.
Tradition has it, that rain on your wedding day is good luck (and good luck is exactly what we have had)! The rain stopped minutes before the outdoor wedding and the sun shinned though clouds. Shane and Beth captured each moment. They shot both Max and I getting ready, praying with our families, and laughing with our friends. They caught the tears I shed as I was reading my vows and while I was dancing with my father. They provided a drive to capture great photos. They stood in the rain, held umbrellas, and helped us have the best wedding day! I have the highest recommendation Shane Hawkins Photograph. A quality team with a true passion for photography!

Shane and Beth of Shane Hawkins Photography are the best around. I am probably the pickiest bride known to man, and they were so understanding and accommodating. My first experience with them was during our engagement photo session. Not only were they willing to go wherever I wanted to go, they ended up doing a longer session just because they were having fun! Plus, our engagement photos turned our BEAUTIFUL. Our wedding day was captured the same way. They spent the entire day with us and captured every moment that I wanted captured, and every moment that I didn't even think to capture. They're so professional, so fun, so caring, and so NICE! They're very punctual and return photos to you in a timely manner. So thankful that I chose them to capture my special day. Everyone always comments on how beautiful our photos are!

I will start by saying I could never say enough positive things about Shane Hawkins Photography. Shane and Beth are not only two of the friendliest people you will ever meet, but they genuinely care about your day and getting you the photos you will cherish for life. Our engagement session was at the place of our choosing and lasted over an hour. They were flexible with multiple outfits, and even let us bring along the dog! For the wedding, they showed up at the beginning of the day and stayed until the end, driving from the location I got ready at to the actual wedding venue. They got amazing candid and posed pictures. If you are looking for a flexible, friendly, and professional photographer at a reasonable price - Shane Hawkins Photography should be your first choice!

We chose Shane Hawkins for our photography as a recommendation from another photographer and we were so pleased with Shane. We live out of state, but Shane answered all my emails in a timely response and was able to meet with me in person when I was in Knoxville having meetings. The day of experience was great; Shane had a smile on his face the whole time and he was able to work with - and manage - the many small children that we had attending our wedding. Our photos arrived about a month later and are so well done! We appreciate Shane suggesting a unique alley way and the Tennessee Theatre sign for some of our photos. We look forward to working with Shane Hawkins Photography in the future when we're in the Knoxville area for family events!

I have been extremely impressed with Shane and Beth's work. They went above and beyond to make sure they were available for any pictures that we needed. Shane was recommended to us by 2 well established photographers & we were not disappointed! He & his wife were very professional, gave us extra time, made us feel at ease & he was willing to rearrange his schedule to accommodate our outdoor wedding in event of rain. I was able to enjoy my day and not have to worry about a thing. Every time I had a question I could call or email at anytime and I would have a response within minutes. Worth the Wait!
I am constantly looking back at our wedding pictures. I LOVE THEM! It did take the exact eight weeks (to the day - I was counting ;) and constantly stalking my email) for us to get our pictures back. We also didn't get a sneak peek, which made me extremely anxious because the day does fly by that I wanted to relive the day through the pictures, so I was a little impatient. However, it was worth the wait. Shane and Beth captured so many special moments and glances between my husband and me that I'm just in awe. Beth also never missed a beat, when a hair was out of place or something needed to be adjusted she was right there to help out! I wish our wedding dance would have been taken from the guests' side so there wouldn't be a busy background, but aside from that, I love every single photo.

Shane Hawkins Photography was an absolute thrill to work with. My husband and I were married this past September in the hills of Georgia and we couldn’t be happier with how our photos turned out. While I was planning the wedding, Beth made sure that they understood we were looking for and helped create a photography timeline which I ended up basing my entire wedding on. During the wedding itself they went above and beyond helping make the wedding run smoothly and capturing so many wonderful moments. The quality of their posed photos were excellent, creative, and unique. The candids were also priceless. Captures light very well and natural beauty. Reasonably priced. Shane and Beth work very well together and are very thoughtful about specific requests. Sweet kind couple. Would Highly Recommend to Future Wedding Planners!

Shane Hawkins Photography is nothing less than stunning! This dynamic duo of Beth and Shane set the bar high for another other photography company. They are both great people, easy to get a long with, and creative as all get out. Shane takes the most beautiful portraits that are only supplemented by Beth and her female eye for beauty. I am extremely pleased with our engagement pictures and even more pleased with our Wedding Photos. These two would be the ONLY ones I would recommend in the Knoxville/Chattanooga/Nashville Area (or even farther). They made the trip out the SLC, UT to take our engagements and we are beyond blessed to have these beautiful snowy pictures as memories of our time here. Shane is very talented. He has a great eye and a gift for finding beautiful shots. He went above and beyond with our bridal portraits to give us something fun and beautiful. He gave use extra time and extra attention that day. He had three photographers at our wedding to get several angles of the shots. He got the pictures back to us in a timely manner.
Shane is very new in this business. That showed a little at my wedding. There were several important shots missed that day in the rush, part of that is because he didn't feel comfortable enough to be forceful and make people stand where he wanted them. He didn't take charge.
He is talented enough that this will eventually fix itself.
