Anne is wonderful to work with and met with me several times answering all my questions and making me feel more at ease. Day of, there's always hiccups but it was taken care of. The staff there get things done and I truly didn't have to worry. The venue is BEAUTIFUL! -

This was the first venue we looked at after we got engaged and instantly fell in love with it! We booked it the next day and couldn't have been happier. We had an August wedding and everything on the property was beautiful. The owner was responsive to any questions, flexible to what the couple wants, and has fair pricing without adding extra fees. She even built an online community for other brides getting married at the same location so we can exchange questions and ideas - so helpful! Highly recommend this hidden gem! -

We had our wedding at shady Brook acres in July of 2022. We booked within 5 months of having our wedding and never once had an issue with responsiveness or being allowed to come out to view the area. They did upgrades to the venue in the 5 months since we first looked at the beautiful place and plan to continue to do upgrades which is awesome although already a perfect. Paying options available and was easy as well as not forced all at once. The place was very clean for when it was our day to set up and staff even helped watch out throughout the night to make sure everything went well/ that there was no problems. I'd highly recommend this venue!!! -

I fell in love with Shady Brook Acres the first time my husband showed it to me via video call. I was stuck in the UK (During the lock down I was not allowed to travel to the US). Anne was so helpful and just amazing. She always found time to answer any questions we had. We had two video calls because my husband and I live overseas. A week prior to our wedding we finally met to discuss the final numbers and go through the day. Anne is professional, polite, and fun person who made this wedding a real memorable experience. On our wedding day she made sure we were all doing well. She was also kind enough to help set up the venue, I am very greatful for all her help with creating an atmosphere for the best wedding I could have imagined.
Absolutely recommend Shady Brook, with all my heart. Thank you Anne!

Just had my wedding here and we got multiple comments on how beautiful the venue was. Anne was extremely helpful throughout planning and had tons of contacts in case your struggling to find someone (ex. Bartenders, cake, or DJ). It made the process much easier. Very happy that we chose to celebrate the big day at SBA hitching post. -

We chose Shady Brook for our ceremony and reception and I don’t think we could have ever chosen a better place. Shady brook is absolutely beautiful! I highly recommend getting married here. Anne is constantly adding upgrades to the site! And everyone you work with is so nice! Anne and Lisa are who we dealt with most and they both helped to make our day perfect! There are also so many decorations included with the venue that make it so easy to decorate! -

Anne & her team were awesome! The venue is amazing and she is constantly putting more work into it and making it even more beautiful! They have tons of decorations available for you to use for your wedding. I would definitely recommend this venue! -

Absolutely Amazing!!
I had the most amazing wedding day ever. And it was all thanks to anne and her team. I literally had 6 weeks or less to plan my wedding. Not one time did anyone freak out, or say something couldn’t be done! Everyone was so helpful and so willing to do anything that needed done! If it wasn’t for this place I literally wouldn’t of ever had my dream wedding! Absolutely beautiful place! -

Shady Brook
I fell in love with the place when I first saw it. My husband and I, loved how close it was for us and our families. The staff treats you like family from the time you say hello. Shady Brook has so many materials on hand to help you out if you ever forgot anything. I couldnt of choosen a better place to say I Do!! I HIGHLY reccomend , Shady Brook. -

Shady Brook Acres has a very elegant, countryside vibe to it. Lots of shade trees, gorgeous waterfall, pond, pavilion, room to roam, and now a NEW BARN! My husband and I were beyond ecstatic that we chose SBA for our wedding and reception destination. We enjoy the outdoors and having a more relaxed atmosphere, so this was right up our ally. We invited around 400 people to our wedding, so believe me, there is a lot of room to roam! A few days before the wedding, we were allowed to start setting up some of the decor. It was so nice to have a few days beforehand to set up because it saves so much time (time flies when you're getting ready for a wedding). The day before the wedding, we had our rehearsal dinner on the spot. Because everything was set up, there wasn't much for us to do the day of, which was very convenient. On the morning of the wedding, my bridesmaids, hairstylist, MOB, MOG, and I utilized the bridal cottage to get ready in. This was very nice because we didn't have to worry about driving to and from the hair salon. Getting ready there saved us time which in the end we could be more relaxed, and just sip on some wine in our robes! Using the cottage was nice because we had more quality time together and free to be ourselves. Once it was time for the wedding, my father walked me out of the bridal cottage and down the aisle. It was a beautiful sunny day and loved walking down the aisle to my soon-to-be hubby overlooking the beautiful waterfall in the background. Once the ceremony was over, we took pictures around the beautiful landscaping. There are tons of photo opportunities here, there was no need to leave the area to take other pictures. Lots of different stations to take pictures at. All while we took pictures, guests were encouraged to see the snack stations, get a beer from the beer trailer, and mingle or explore the serene area. When it was time for the reception, my caterer told me how easily accessible everything was for her to set up. SBA made sure they had enough outlets for roasters etc. We then ate outside in a tent (the barn was not in the workings when we had the wedding) and loved it. We also utilized the large wooden doors for multiple backdrops, fairy lights, campfire ring, and the large dance floor. It was everything I could imagine having an outdoor wedding. This wouldn't have been possible without the help of SBA's awesome staff! They are very experienced, helpful, and very accomodating to anything we requested. I'm a big planner and they helped us plan the evening down the hour. Things I wouldn't have thought to think about, they did. Also, I want to send a shout out to the Day of Coordinator who helped behind the scenes on the day of. She kept things moving and helped make everything relaxed. Loved every minute of our special day! Highly recommend having your next event at SBA!

Booked this venue for our wedding. It is fairly new, but absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! The owner, Anne, is amazing. She’s extremely helpful and always available to answer questions. The rest of the staff is just as amazing. Not one single regret in booking this venue! -

This venue easily blows every other local rustic venue out of the water! The professionalism of the staff are well up to par, and the venue is entirely brand new and kept up with so beautifully. This venue can be decorated however and magically become the most beautiful place for any event, including a wedding. The weddings that I’ve witnessed at this venue were so incredible, well structured, and memorable to say at the very least. This venue is worth every penny when it comes to hosting the most perfect event! -

Shady Brooke Acres is the perfect venue!!! We had the best wedding day. The venue alone is gorgeous and doesn’t need much decor beyond what’s naturally there. They also provide so much on sight you can use. The new barn for the reception is STUNNING! The all white inside photographs beautifully and the chandelier is amazing!! There is also a cute bridal cottage (with AC) for the girls to get ready in and it makes for a very sweet entrance for the bride! Shady Brook Acres is the perfect rustic farmhouse outdoor venue! Everyone we worked with was great, very accommodating, helpful, and easy going! Anne is always available and the absolute nicest! Planning was such an enjoyable experience and stress free! Our wedding day went off without a hitch and it was honestly the most perfect day- I wouldn’t have changed a thing!! I would HIGHLY recommend Shady Brook Acres for your wedding day! -

Great venue!
The owner responded to all of my MANY questions in a very timely manner. She allowed me to come visit and plan things anytime that I wanted. And she helped me find deals on tents, bathrooms, food, and photography. Her property is beautiful. You will not regret booking this venue. -

Everything I ever dreamed of and more. “Simple Amazing”
we are so Happy that we decided to get married at Shadybrook. Everything was Beautiful and Perfect. The owners were so helpful with everything. She also took so many wonderful pictures. We had so many people tell us how Beautiful our wedding was. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants Beautiful Memories on there special day. -

The compliments from all the guests on how beautiful the setting was and the easy transition from ceremony to reception was wonderful. Our guests even took the opportunity to take their own family photos at a couple of the photo ready spots on the property. I guarantee you would not be disappointed if you chose to have your event here.
