  DJ Ramsey was perfect!

  We hired Ramsey for our wedding on Labor Day Weekend and he was perfect! He was so thorough and thoughtful! He made sure that everyone was having a great time and when we had a couple of last minute changes to our songs, he totally rolled with it. He is so talented and professional. I hope we can have Ramsey at every event we ever do in the future!! We cannot recommend him enough!!

  Incredible experience with DJ FishFonics!

  We worked with DJ FishFonics (Erik Fish) for our June 2024 wedding and reception, and we're so happy with our decision! SGM Events helped with matching us with the right DJ, contracting, and payments. Afterwards, we worked directly with DJ FishFonics for planning the event. We have so many great things to say but the number one thing was that the music was absolutely incredible! We gave Erik several song examples for parts of the night like cocktail hour and dance floor, and he took it to the next level. Our dance floor was bumping from beginning to end. He knew how to keep the crowd energized, with his remix selections and transitions that matched the vibe we communicated. As a bonus, Erik provided the list of songs upon request after the event, so now we can relive the night whenever we want.
  
  He was also great with all the other aspects of DJing an event: set-up done on time at our venue at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park Kijamii Overlook, worked well with the coordinator for timing and cues, lighting was great, responsive via e-mail, listened well to the type of music we wanted, played the right versions of songs at the right time for wedding moments, made the announcements as asked, and more. I highly recommend DJ FishFonics in the future if you want a smooth event and a good time for your crowd!

  5/5 Stars - Fish Fonics was a total hit!

  FishFonics (Erik) was such a pleasure to work with and totally killed it at our wedding. He was so good at telling what music was working for our guests and did such a good job of keeping people dancing all night! We wanted someone who could strike a balance between crowd favorites and EDM. Erik totally understood what we were going for and delivered. The entire process with SGM was a breeze. Communication was always clear and prompt. Everyone was so easy to work with. Would highly recommend!

  SGM + Caprice Strings = Perfect

  SGM was amazingly easy to work with; maybe the best vendor we worked with leading up to the big day. We had many music options provided to us and we decided to hire Caprice Strings to play our wedding. They absolutely nailed it! We asked for quite a few songs that were not in their song list and for a small fee per song, they learned the songs and played them perfectly; super impressed with them! We would no question recommend SGM and Caprice Strings for any event. All parties were super cool and super professional and made our day perfect!

  Best DJ Decision for our Wedding!

  Choosing Erik (DJ FishFonics) and Sleeping Giant was hands down one of the best decisions I made for our wedding. From the minute I selected Erik months prior, he was always so responsive to my emails and pretty quick to respond, as well (which is huge for a Type A person like myself). He had SGM do all of the managing and they were also super efficient and easy to work with. The pricing was totally fair and the worksheet they sent me to complete prior totally helped me navigate our wedding and song selection. I am SO glad I went with Erik, he was AMAZING and totally listened to all of my requests and feedback. Everyone raved about him and I would 100% refer him to every single person considering DJ FishFonics and SGM. Thank you!!!

  Dj ramsey!

  DJ Ramsey was incredible! We had a couple of phone consultations with him and he answered all of our questions, gave us examples, pictures, basically whatever he could to fully answer all of our questions. He sent us a worksheet to help fill out all the specific songs we wanted, asked if there was any specific announcements he should give etc. Between the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, he was on top of making sure the music matched each portion of the day and that the guests were having a great time. Would highly recommend him to anyone. Thanks DJ Ramsey for making our wedding day so magical!

  Mikey Beats Best Wedding DJ Ever

  Mikey Beats did a fantastic job with our wedding and we couldn't be happier. from the song choices during open dance and cocktail hour to following our song requirements and timeline; Mikey overshot our expectations. I highly recommend having Sleeping Giant and Mikey Beats if you can get him.

  DJ Bernard Killed it!!

  DJ Bernard was our wedding DJ and he was incredible! His announcements and emceeing were very fluid and maintained a great flow during our entire day. Bernard and I spoke over the phone a few times and really honed in on what type of vibe/music we wanted playing at all times during our wedding day. He honored all our requests and when it came time for the dance floor to open up he played all the songs we wanted, including a few request from the Mother of the Groom. I was told 20-30 times that our DJ was the best wedding DJ they have ever experienced, and I agree. He really understood what our guests wanted to dance to and absolutely controlled the dance floor! I can't praise him enough!

  Wow! We just had our wedding on August 4th and DJ Bernard was amazing. There was so much positive feedback about our DJ and the wedding dance floor was packed all night. He was very professional and a damn good DJ!

  SGM Events was amazing! We had DJ Shaun Blaze at our wedding and couldn't have asked for a better fit. He listened to our needs, read the room super well, and was super communicative and helpful. We had such an easy experience from the moment we chose them all the way through the event, and our guests had the greatest time dancing the night away!

  Excellent Experience - Highly Recommend!

  SGM were wonderful to work with! super helpful and a very easy process from start to finish. We were lucky to have DJ Hevrock (Travis) as our DJ/MC for our wedding reception and Curt Owen performing at our ceremony and cocktail hour. Both Travis and Curt were not only extremely talented, but also great people. They were both so pleasant to work with and made our day extra special. We received so many compliments from our guests! I highly recommend Travis and Curt!

  DJ Shy Was Awesome!

  Michael DJ’d our wedding, and he did an amazing job. We had a lot of requests, and we felt like he delivered on them remarkably well. We had a great time and so did our guests. The energy on the dance floor was amazing, and people were dancing through the final song. On top of that, he’s a very nice guy and really communicative, professional and a pleasure to work with. We absolutely recommend DJ Shy!

  DJ Bernard and the staff at SGM Events were excellent to work with. They were prompt, courteous, and helpful via email, and never complained when I took an eternity to respond to them in return!
  
  Everything went perfectly on the day of the wedding, and DJ Bernard was a big part of making that happen. He put together excellent setlists from the snippets of information we gave him about what we wanted, and he perfectly captured the vibe we wanted at the reception for dancing. He also made some very helpful suggestions for how to make our grand entrance flow perfectly into our first dance, gave us a helpful worksheet for selecting all of the music we would need with suggestions from past playlists, and provided lighting that greatly enhanced our reception's aesthetics. Our guests were on the dance floor until literally the last second of the reception. I'm very happy that we went with DJ Bernard and SGM events for our wedding, and would absolutely recommend them to anyone else.

  DJ Big Willie Styles did an amazing job as our wedding DJ! He was very professional, enthusiastic, and kind, not only on our wedding day, but throughout the planning process. He accommodated all of our needs and requests, and created the exact vibe we were hoping for through his music selections and announcements to our guests.   Amazing Wedding DJ

  DJ Shy was so fun to work with and made our night so special! Our ceremony was beautiful with help from his speakers and microphone, and we ended our night having a fun time dancing at the reception. He was able to capture our style perfectly with the music, and the lighting was amazing. Thank you!

  DJ Shy was so fun to work with and made our night so special! Our ceremony was beautiful with help from his speakers and microphone, and we ended our night having a fun time dancing at the reception. He was able to capture our style perfectly with the music, and the lighting was amazing. Thank you!

  Highly recommend!

  Dj Ramsey was our dj for the night and I highly recommend him! He was easy and thorough to work with and the vibes were great during our whole event. He stayed 2 extra hours because everyone was dancing their booties off. I gave him a playlist to work with and he knew exactly what to play to keep the party going.

  Absolutely Incredible DJ

  DJ Willy has been a DJ at several weddings of friends and family and the experience has been incredible every time. He is committed to providing a personalized music an entertainment experience. His attention to detail is impeccable and begins with his music worksheet. His ability to read the crowd and tailor the music to the mood is second to none, during dancing there wasnt a person sitting down as he was able to captivate the entire crowd of 200 people and got them on their feet. DJ Willie even MC'd our reception and you could definitely tell his level of experience the way he seamlessly integrated humor and character into the very tight and compact schedule. As a member of a team DJ willy was integral to the success of our reception and we cannot recommend him enough for yours!

  Awesome DJ

  SGM was incredible! We chose them through the Abbey Catering and our DJ was Ramsey. Ramsey and the whole team (Freddie, Lauren, Troy, Kyle, Arad) made everything so simple! Ramsey really listened to our wants and needs and put together a great playlist for our reception.
