So thankful to have found Amber!
I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Amber to alter my wedding dress! She is incredibly caring and knowledgeable. From the very first fitting, she was reassuring, answered all my questions, and made sure every detail was just right. Her work is truly amazing—my dress fit perfectly, and I couldn’t be happier! I would go back to her in a heartbeat and highly recommend her to anyone needing alterations! 🤍 -

Amber did an amazing job on my dress. She went out of her way to get stains out of the dress and steam it after the final alterations had been made. She is so patient and listened to my requests and helped make them come to life. I felt so beautiful 🤍 -

I am an out of state bride that had an absolute crisis with my dress that I had picked up from a different seamstress the week of my wedding. Amber was able to get us in and turn around the dress alterations in an amazing 2 days! The dress turned out beyond my expectations, I cried (happy tears of course) when putting it on. Amber went above and beyond, and despite the short timeline, she never made us feel rushed and explained every stitch she made, showed us multiple options for the bustle, and made the entire experience amazing. I cannot thank her enough, she quite literally saved the day. The dress is absolutely perfect. I would go back to Amber a million times over, and recommend her to everyone! I could write a novel about how much I loved working with Amber for my wedding dress alterations! I feel like we could be best friends if we found each other in a different way - she is so kind and really cared about my dress and my experience. I had some bold ideas about ways we could customize my dress to make it my own and having her expertise brought me a lot of peace. She was thoughtful about how she approached the alterations and was willing to try the customizations I threw at her. In the end, I had the dress of my dreams! -

Amber is an Alterations Goddess !
Where do I start!?!? Amber is so talented and did an amazing job! She was recommended to me by my normal seamstress/tailor. He mentioned that the lace detail was very intricate and would require someone that specialized in it and put me in contact with Sew Cute As a Button. I was apprehensive because I needed the dress hemmed in less than three weeks and it required that she hand lift the lace and re-sew it since the hem was a lace scallop! After meeting Amber, she immediately calmed my nerves, she was so patient with me, pinned everything, allowed me to try on multiple shoe options, walk around and really picture myself on the day of the wedding. She talked me through the pros/cons of multiple bustle options and then pinned them on my dress to show them to me. She was able to do it with a tight turnaround and the dress looked so fabulous! If you need any alterations, especially wedding dress alterations, look no further. Amber is your gal, with years of experience, flexible scheduling, and very competitive pricing! -

She is a dream to work with!
I cannot say enough good things about Sew Cute As a Button. I told all of my friends and family I wouldn't leave my dress with just anyone - and all of those feelings of doubt went away as soon as I met Amber. She made me feel so comfortable and I knew I could trust her. Amber made me feel beautiful in my dress. She added cups, detachable straps, and created a gorgeous bustle. She also took the dress in and hemmed it. I love how my dress turned out! She went above and beyond my expectations. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ -

The best experience ever!
Amber from ‘so cute as a button’ was the best professional seamstress we have ever experienced!
She did such phenomenal work on a very intricate wedding dress that my daughter needed to have taken in. I cannot tell you how pleased we were with the results… it was amazing . I would highly recommend her services not only because of her expertise but also she was such a joy to work with! She is very attentive and a wonderful listener to all of your desires and she ultimately made her dress look the most beautiful and formfitting. We had such a wonderful experience with Amber I highly highly recommend. -

I had a gown that needed hemmed and heard great things about Amber. While originally my gown didn’t flatter me very well in the bodice, I just thought it was the cut of the dress and didn’t think much of it. Amber suggested bringing the bodice in and taking up the straps and WHAT A DIFFERENCE. I absolutely adored the dress after, and it fit like a glove. She is such professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and so easy to talk to. My experience was phenomenal! -

Amber was able to get me in and my dress done in a short turn around time. She made my dress fit perfect. She made suggestions to help that I didn’t even think about making my dress fit even better. She also did my long train where it could be pinned up 6 different buttons and still look beautiful to not take away from my beautiful train. She was very accommodating and worked with my schedule. She also did all my bridesmaids dresses & flower girls who had to be altered as well and everyone looked perfect! I definitely will go back for any future alteration needs! -

Simply the best
My wedding dress had a ton of lace detail so I was worried about getting it altered. Amber at sew cute as a button took perfect care of my dress. It fit me like a glove and there was no signs that it had even been altered! She is amazing and I’m so happy she was there for me during such an important time in my life!! -
