We could not have been happier with the DJ service provided for our daughter Logan’s wedding on May 30. From the ceremony through the reception, everything was handled professionally and seamlessly. When I first emailed Chris to inquire about his services, he quite literally responded in 2 minutes and I knew from this moment he was going to be my DJ. Not only was he my DJ, he became one of my wedding planners. He helped me with save the dates, dinner, and so much more than just music. He was quick and willing to answer any question I had whether it was about his services or not. He recommended my photographer, who recommended my videographer and they all worked together so well. He called me the evening before the wedding to check on me, called me the morning of the wedding to check in again, and when it came down to time for the wedding, he did phenomenal. He certainly led the show. I felt so at ease like I could relax and put things in his hands. He also took the marriage license stress off my plate. Great Time On The Dance Floor
We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our daughter’s wedding! From start to finish, the service was absolutely exceptional. Chris was professional, well-organized, and truly understood how to read the room and keep the energy just right throughout the entire evening.
The music selection was perfect — seamlessly blending classics, crowd favorites, and the couple’s personal requests. The dance floor was full all night, with guests of all ages having an amazing time. Transitions between songs and events were smooth, and announcements were clear, tasteful, and well-timed.
What stood out most was the attention to detail and the genuine care taken to make the night special for our daughter and her new husband. Chris worked closely with the couple and vendors, helping the reception flow effortlessly and stress-free.

I would highly recommend SeriousSoundz DJ Service to any friends or family to make their day just as special as they made our wedding! The owner Chris, was easy to communicate with, friendly and personable and very helpful with helping us create a playlist for the ceremony and reception. Not to mention he has a wide variety of playlists, so any song you need, he’s got it all! He showed up early and set up quickly, (indoor and outside gear) he even set up an awesome light display for the wedding party table! I would use Serious Soundz LLC again
Serious Soundz LLC (Chris) was a huge staple to keeping our wedding on track. Not only was I terrible at giving him the music we needed, he was a helping hand to make sure nothing was forgotten. Anytime I reached out with a question I had an answer same day. (These days that doesn't happen). On our wedding day he was early, set up and prepped to make sure everything worked. He worked with my MOH on her needing music for her speech. There are no negative comment about Chris or any hiccups that he created on our special day. Through out the night he asked if Cody and I needed anything or if there was anything we needed home to announce etc. I highly recommend using Chris on your special day.

From the moment I reached out to Chris, with Serious Soundz DJ service, just for a quote it was obvious that he was a professional who had experience in the wedding industry. I had already had issues with
wedding vendors being slow to respond but Chris got back to me immediately, scheduled a time to talk, answered any questions I had and offered information that I didn’t
know to ask. His pricing is very fair, and I did compare to some other
DJs before selecting him.
Chris offered to connect us with other experienced wedding vendors and provided input throughout the process based on his years of experience but was willing to adjust and work with whatever ideas we had.
On the day of my daughter’s wedding, he arrived a little early, got set up and did everything to reassure us that it would all be handled. He fielded some guest concerns and came to us with solutions if there were minor glitches (none were even related to DJ services). He even helped calm the bride when she had a moment just before coming down the aisle.
He checked in throughout the night to see if we wanted to make adjustments and worked with us to keep the night fun for all ages. I will add that he’s also super kind and just wanted the best for the newlyweds.
Overall, we could not have been happier with our choice of DJs for our daughter’s wedding!

I hit the jackpot with Chris (serious soundz)! From my very first interaction with Chris, I knew I did not need to worry about music and could focus on other planning aspects of my wedding.. many that he offered to help me with as well. He reiterated multiple times that I could bug him any time for his opinion, advice, or recommendations for other venders. I created a playlist to shuffle for the cocktail hour/dinner that I shared with Chris to play and asked if he could come up with all the dancing music and shared our style and he absolutely delivered! The day of.. Chris was very helpful checking on my regularly to make sure everything was running smoothly and I was happy. We had a slight mix up with the daddy/daughter dance (our fault) and I realized in front of everyone that I forgot to tell Chris the change of plans and I kid you not he was able to tell to switch things up by simply the look I gave him that it was played off so well that no one even knew! He was very flexible and attentive to me and my husband all day. He did a great job on our back lighting that he took care of by himself knowing how hectic the day was getting ready that it was like a little surprise for us when we saw the reception and made all the difference for our table. I really enjoyed working with Chris.. so did all my other venders .. not to mention he was reasonable in price!

Chris was great in every aspect. We were late getting our song list to him, wasnt a problem, he had hints and tips he gave us for our day. The. Volume was perfect musice was what we asked for. He's a great person and a great dj !!! Would use him again in a heartbeat.

Chris from Serious Soundz was a perfect DJ choice for my husband and I’s 9/9 wedding this year. He was amazing to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process! He was kind, flexible, and timely with his answers to all of my questions. You can tell he has done a ton of weddings because he is so knowledgeable and full of great ideas. I planned my wedding by myself and didn’t have a day-of coordinator to fall back on the day of our wedding. Chris stepped up and helped make sure the entire day went as smoothly as possible. He showed up on time, set up where I asked him to, and made sure the sounds and lights for our ceremony and reception were perfect. His fun, upbeat, and go-with-the-flow energy helped make our wedding day awesome and one to remember forever. I can’t say enough good things about everything he did behind the scenes and with the mic! My family was so impressed with how he jumped right in and was so willing to help from the moment he got there to when he left. If I were to do it over I would definitely choose Chris to DJ our wedding again!

Chris provided DJ and officiant services for our wedding over the weekend. He was extremely flexible/professional but more importantly, he was patient and helpful throughout the entire process. Chris made it known that he was willing to help and answer any questions that we had throughout the planning process and the day of. He was easily accessible and provided quick responses. In addition, Chris called the morning of the wedding to see if we needed anything and he guided us through the rehearsal as well as our big day. Chris was very professional. Everyone had a great time at our vow renewal. He was very accommodating, he communicated well from booking our date to the day of the vow renewal. (Which was very important to us, because we live in FL and was only traveling to Springfield, Ohio for the renewal). He was flexible & granted all the requests made. He emailed us a list of the most requested songs, a guide for the ceremony/reception songs, and even did a brief performance before the night ended! We definitely recommend him, if we ever need a DJ for another event/gathering, we won’t hesitate to reach out to him!

He was so responsive and kind, the calm to my storm, helped with timelines, suggestions on other local vendors and just so much more. He was a really great DJ and helped keep everything moving the whole wedding reception. We hired Chris with Serious Soundz for our wedding. Chris is very attentive and explains the entire process to you. There is paperwork to fill out that is very detailed so that he gets your day as perfect as you want it. He officiates too, and will use a script that you write or he can do that part of it so you don't have to worry about it. He's a great guy and will take absolute amazing care of you the entire time! You won't regret using him for your wedding/event!

Chris was absolutely wonderful! If I could hire him all over again I would. He was always very quick to respond to any question or concern leading up the my wedding. He was on time the day off and looked very professional. Chris is very kind and was quick to reassure me that he knew what he was doing and I didn’t need to worry, he had it covered! My favorite thing that he did at our wedding was offer a last dance for my husband and I. We were starting to clean up and he asked me if I’d like one more dance with my husband and I said yes! But I waited a few minutes and I wasn’t sure where he was, he was off loading things into our vehicle. So I told Chris not to worry about it and we could just skip it. Well he waiting to pack up his equipment until my husband came back inside and as soon as he saw him, he started playing music. I am so thankful Chris waited because that was one of my favorite memories of our special day!

The best dj ever
I have so many things I want to say about Chris but I don't have words that could even begin to come close to how amazing this man is! from the day I hired him 10 months before my wedding he answered all of my 1000+ questions, helped me find vendors, helped me figure out things for my wedding that had nothing to do with his job! He answered no matter what I needed. Then on my wedding day her made sure to check on me throughout the day and to make sure I has everything done exactly the way I wanted and he always made sure that I was happy. I can not recommend him enough! He is a great person and a phenomenal DJ! if you want things to go exactly like you always dreamed then hire Chris!! He is worth 100× more than he charges!!

If you’re planning an event, do yourself a favor and hire Serious Soundz! Chris was fantastic from the beginning of the process all the way to the end of the big day. We had a very small wedding that was unique in a lot of ways, and he had no problem just going with the flow. All of our guests complimented the variety of music he played and how personable he was. My husband and I feel like he went above and beyond to ensure that we didn’t have to worry about a thing during the entire day. Chris is amazing! Super personable and so much fun! I would recommend him to anyone. He arrived early and was ready to go. He responds to messages promptly and is affordable. If i ever need a dj again i will for sure use serious soundz :)

The best DJ
I couldn’t thank Serious Soundz LLC enough for how perfect everything turned out! The most helpful and responsive DJ we talked to! He made everything go so smoothly and we couldn’t of asked for it to go any more perfect! He truly gets to know you and all of taste of music you like and nailed all of the songs! Amazing DJ lots of bang for your buck
Chris is an awesome DJ. He kept in touch with all the covid stuff and stuck by through 3 date changes he is very friendly and helpful. Mom's Wedding
Chris did an amazing job and was very organized, professional and thoughtful. It really made us feel as if he cared and wasn't just there to do a job! He was even able to improvise if there wasnt a specific plan during the wedding party routine. My mom was extremely satisfied with the entire service and my family and I would most definitely recommend Serious Soundz for any oaccassion! Especially an event as special as a wedding!

Great time had by all!
I attended a wedding and reception where Chris was the presider . He is very professional , thoro vugh and friendly. We really enjoyed the music he selected and he was quick to play requests. A great time was had by all .

Amazing!!!
They were quick to respond and secure our date for our annual Christmas Party. They brought great, well made props. Everything went smoothly and they were able to give awesome prints to everyone, including more than one copy if needed. They know what they are doing!

Serious Soundz DJ wedding experience
Chris DJd at our wedding yesterday, September 13, 2025, and it was a wonderful experience. Leading up to the wedding day, Chris did an amazing job of keeping in contact with me and answering any questions I had, as this was the first wedding I have ever planned and had no experience at all. He made it very easy to get all the information he needed through the paperwork he provided and he even had lots of song recommendations for weddings and other helpful papers to help us in the process. On the wedding day he checked in with me and my husband several times to make sure everything was going smoothly and to ask us if we needed anything at all. The song selection he had was perfect and appropriate for all wedding guests of all ages. He had a good mix of romantic slow songs and dancing songs. He was also very helpful in recommending us doing an anniversary dance and a last dance. He did a wonderful job announcing and directing the flow of the wedding and made it run very smoothly for all of us. He made the night an anxiety-free evening where all I had to do was just focus on having fun. I would highly recommend him as a DJ. Thank you Chris for being so awesome. We appreciate you.

Wedding DJ
Overall, Chris did a good job with playing the music we requested and providing a fun experience for the guests at our wedding. A couple of things we wanted to note.
We had around 24 hours' notice that the remaining deposit must be paid in cash as check and credit card would not be accepted on the day of the event. This would not have been an issue if we were given more notice, but it was inconvenient to acquire that much cash the day before the wedding with ATM withdrawal limits as the banks were closed by this time Saturday. It may have been mentioned at booking (in January) that cash was needed, but a reminder would have been helpful.
Chris also announced the last song of the night around 10 minutes before the scheduled end of the event. A few of our guests took note of the time and requested additional songs which Chris did go on to play. Chris also packed up the majority of his equipment well before his scheduled time ended.
Other than the few things noted above, Chris did a good job.
