Phenomenal in every way

I can't say enough positive things about my experience with Serena. From the get-go, we knew she was the right fit for us, and he photography is beautiful. We have huge families and bridal parties and she organized a clear and manageable timeline so that we could get all of our photos done and still have time to actually enjoy our wedding. We are so happy with the photos she has provided, the only hold up has been on our end, since we love so many pictures we haven't been able to select the ones we want her to print. Hire her and her team!

High Quality Photographer!

Exceptional, Phenomenal, Attentive, and a true ARTIST is how I would describe Ms. Serena Parsons and her work! I found Serena at a Plan It Bridal Expo at Masso's Catering in New Jersey. Once I opened her portfolios of whole weddings, I knew I had to book her! I later scheduled an appointment at her studio, and after meeting with her one on one, along with her husband, I could see how passionate she is about her work in delivering sheer excellence...that meeting left me with the feeling that needed her to be part of our special day. Many photographers will show you their best shots, but Serena was able to present several whole weddings she shot from start to finish! Her work is journalistic, editorial, classic, sexy, and glam all in one! My wedding photos look like they belong in a published bridal magazine, and I could not be happier to have chosen her. I am a formal runway model, so I am familiar with photography and knew the importance of choosing a quality wedding photographer. Wedding photography is a very specialized style of photography, and while many folks have great cameras, not everyone has an eye for this particular style of photography. Serena did not disappoint at all. She has lots of energy, great vibes, and is the sweetest person! My photography package came with a 60-paged wedding album, flash drive of my photos, and 3 different levels of resolution. I had 2 shooters at my wedding, and a lighting assistant. Hands down, Serena and her team was the most important vendor of my day, and I had full faith that she would capture every special moment dear to us...Serena Star Photography definitely delivered! You only get one shot at your wedding photos, and picking the right photographer is crucial. Book her now!

Amazingly awesome photographer!

My hubby and I had the utmost pleasure of having Serena and her husband Dave do the photos for our wedding on 10/7/18. I knew from the first meeting I was going to love her! She is beyond artistic and incredibly creative. She made "posing" for pictures feel very natural and not "posy" at all. Our package included an engagement session and what fun (and amazingly beautiful) photos those were! If I could give her 10 stars I would!!

BOOK SERENA NOW!! You do not want anyone else to capture your photos for the most important day of your life!! My now husband and I met with Serena and loved her from the start, she is so easy to work with, accommodating, and willing to communicate! We loved our engagement photo shoot and could not wait for our wedding day with Serena. From the moment Serena arrives there is a sense she has it all under control--she worked seamlessly with other vendors, assisted us with answering all of our questions, making our wedding day timeline, keeping everyone on schedule, and even capturing our dog in photos! :) We love the way Serena captures color--it is so vibrant and makes the entire day come alive--which is perfect since the photos are meant so the day can be relived over and over again. Serena was the best and we hope to work with her again in the future!

My husband and I absolutely loved having Serena as our wedding photographer! She and her husband are a great team! From their pleasant demeanor and creative energy to their professional preparedness and beautifully taken photos, it was such a wonderful, memorable experience having them shoot our wedding. Me and my bridal team were so behind schedule getting our makeup done and Serena took the initiative to speak with our limo drivers and present me with options of where to take our portrait photos and still make it to the ceremony all time. This was above from what I expected her to do and I'm so grateful to her for it because I was able to keep my sanity and we were able to take our amazing photos and be on time! An additional bonus is the turn around time for photos!! I didn't expect to get them as soon as we did; AND she also provides teaser photos soon after the wedding so that you have something to look at in the meantime!! Serena is amazing and I highly recommend her to others as the TOP wedding photographer in the area!

Serena and her husband, Dave, were absolutely amazing and surpassed any expectation we had!!! Serena was our engaged photographer and we couldn't have asked for any better pictures. There is no doubt that she completely loves her job. During our photo shoot she was patient, EXTREMELY creative, accommodating, and Serena has a knack for making things organic. She took her time during the entire photo shoot and we had so much fun with them. Our pictures were absolutely beautiful and she provided a variety of different techniques and tricks.

Serena is the absolute best! We worked with her for engagement shots and for wedding day photography. She truly knows her craft and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. She worked with us to find a location between us for the engagement session (even donning ice skates to work our first date into the session!) and helped us plan out the wedding day events to get the most out of her time with us. She's great and we 100% recommend her!

Serena is absolutely amazing! My husband and I knew we wanted her to shoot our wedding from the first time we met her. She is professional, talented and really knows her stuff...a huge bonus is that she is also super sweet! Planning a wedding and coordinating vendors is so stressful, but working with someone like Serena was just the best. Her prices are so reasonable, she takes so many photos and they are all gorgeous!

We used Serena for both our engagement photos and the wedding, both sets turned out stunning. She knows exactly when to get the best light and it shows in her work. What we really loved about her is that she takes time to get to know the couples she works with; to see what's important for her to capture on the day and to show a little bit of our personality as well. What you don't realize is how much time you spend with your photographer on your wedding day, so you should pick someone that you feel comfortable with and get along with. We all had so much fun hanging with Serena, her husband, Dave and her assistant. Recommend them 1000x over!!

Serena was amazing!!! We were such a mess planning our wedding. The date changed at least three times! She was so good about being flexible and helping keep me calm. She wasn't just there as our photographer, she was there to help with anything and everything - offering up suggestions when we didn't know what to do next and were panicking trying to plan our special day. Serena's photos turned out beautiful (as always!) and are always so unique. She worked with OUR style to make our photos special. We love her and would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone! She has such a wonderful energy about her. Just ALL SMILES!

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Serena for both our engagement photos as well as our wedding and I wouldn't have it any other way. When planning for our engagement session we wanted to incorporate a pin-up style Minnie & Mickey theme since we got engaged in Disney. Serena didn't only do an amazing job, but completely nailed our expectations. Our wedding was three months later and in-between that time Serena was an essential asset to our planning. She has incredible talent with save-the-dates, invitation design, and a true eye for what the wedding day was supposed to look like. My husband and I were blown away with her ability to convert our visions to realities. We also had the pleasure of working with Serena's new service of videography- which turned out to be something I couldn't imagine myself living without. Even though our wedding day was only one day- Serena has made memories that will last us a lifetime!

Serena was amazing!!! I only used her for my engagement photos as our wedding will be out of state but had a wonderful experience. My fiancé isn't a smiler but she even managed to get him to smile.im in love with our photos they came out amazing. I have nothing bad to say . If your looking for a fun and happy time while taking pictures definetly use Serena ....with her happy positive personality and amazing quality you can't go wrong I just wish I could take her with me to my wedding !

One of the best decisions we could have made during the entire wedding planning process was booking Serena Star Wedding Photography. Not only did our pictures turn out beautifully - but she was incredibly easy to work with from beginning to end. From scheduling meetings and engagement photos, to the last minute pictures we wanted the day of the wedding, she was incredibly flexible and easy going. It was a pleasure working with Serena for my wedding photos. From the very beginning Serena was extremely responsive and flexible when planning engagement pictures. Even after our first date got rained out. Serena is one of the most organized people I have ever met. She had a packet of information I filled out that basicially pre planned the timeline of my wedding day. It was wonderful to have full access to all of my engagement and wedding photos! Serena was very attentive the day of my wedding, she worked well with her partner to make sure we got all of the shots we wanted. I picked up my album yesterday and I absolutely love it! Serena was a pleasure to work with and I'm thrilled with the quality and quantity of my photos. I would highly recommend Serena for any of your photography needs!

I was fortunate enough to go to high school with Serena and know first hand what an amazing photographer she truly is! When my husband and I decided to get married, I without a doubt knew in my mind that I wanted Serena to be our photographer. She is extremely professional, affordable, organized, responsive to all questions/details, and most importantly she has extraordinary talent. Serena made our day so special with the experience that she gave us during our wedding shoot, and she captured moments that my husband and I will be able to treasure for years to come. All of our family and friends raved about the pictures that she took and complimented us on how great she was. She also got our pictures back to us very quickly and we were extremely pleased. What can I say about Serena Star Photography? First off, that my only regret from my wedding is that she was not my main photographer. I should have booked her from the start. Thankfully, she was one of the assisting photographers to my main photographer and I had the privilege of working with her.

From the moment I met her, Serena instantly made me feel comfortable. She was not only a professional but also a caring friend, showing me how to pose properly for the best effect but making it feel effortless. I was so thankful she was working with me during my big day. She edited my wedding photos promptly and beautifully, returning them to the main photographer in a flash. Since my wedding she has photographed the newborn photos for my two daughters, and we plan on continuing to use her for all of our family photography. Once again, her presentation of the girls photos was fantastic, the editing was beautiful but not over-done, which was really important to me. I highly recommend her services to anyone.

I was lucky to meet Serena at a bridal show and booked her that night for my boudoir photos! I knew I wanted to get them done, and after talking to Serena and looking at her albums, I knew she had the be the one to do them! Serena has such a welcoming personality (and awesome photos) that would make any woman feel comfortable to book with her! Well, I let some time go by (and rescheduled my photo shoot) because I ended up being so nervous when it came down to actually shoot, but eventually I made it to her studio- still nervous though! Serena helped me pick out what I should wear, I got my make-up done, and then began shooting. She helped me with the poses and explained some of what she was doing to make me feel more comfortable. It helped! She even started showing me some of the photos right on her camera. When I saw the photos, I could not believe how great they looked, and I felt even more comfortable! Serena made me look and feel like a model! She helped me narrow down the photos for my album (I went over the limit for the package I initially chose, because the pictures were too good to not use). I COULD NOT WAIT for my fiance' to see the photos!!! He LOVES them! Serena also took our engagement and wedding photos. They were absolutely gorgeous too! Our friends and families cannot stop talking about our photos to this day! Serena made us feel comfortable throughout the entire wedding planning process. I was thankful for the detailed emails and all of her advice throughout the planning. We highly recommend her!!!!! =)

Serena was absolutely amazing! We spoke numerous times before the big day so we could finalize the schedule. She was extremely professional the entire day, as was her assistant. This was by far THE BEST.MONEY.SPENT.ON OUR WEDDING.With cost, she was fair, especially for what she provides. She gives all of the photos that come out, allows downloads at your leisure, and takes a huge selection. She personally is one of the sweetest people we’ve met who was able to make us feel comfortable and relaxed which was huge on our wedding day as my wife's dress zipper broke. Serena helped significantly by keeping her calm. On the wedding day, her assistant was on time took extraordinary pictures of our wedding accessories around our house that matched our wedding theme making our first home part of our wedding day. She then, ala Serena, made everyone feel comfortable for a great set of photos with the groomsmen. During the ceremony, they were barely noticeable but amazingly skilled at getting perfect candid photos and prepared a list of portraits for after. What we appreciated was that she emailed and planned this out well beforehand. During the reception, they kept us on schedule, getting the photos we wanted but the best part was that while we were eating, etc she looked for amazing pictures to take which made us feel that she really cared.When it began to snow, she got us and took photos that looked like a fairy tale which made my wife unbelievably happy.And even when she was technically done, Serena kept taking photos. You can’t pay enough for her passion and love. People say that the DJ, food, etc is important for a good time but I really feel like its the people. For us, having our loved ones together, we could have had fun anywhere. The thing we couldn't replace was Serena. There is no doubt in my mind that she was the perfect and only person for the job. NO ONE could have done better in my mind and I will only use her in the future for any and all events we want photographed. So if you have any event, YOU NEED TO BOOK WITH SERENA!!!.NOW!!.we would have given her a 100 star rating and written more if I could.

I had a hard time finding a photographer for my wedding because I myself, am a photographer. Serena was recommended to me by a friend and I am so glad I chose her! She is very understanding and also wonderful to work with. I love my photos and I can't wait to share them with everyone!

For a professional, it is very difficult to feel insecure about the job you do. For a model to feel insecure about modeling, it’s very difficult in this industry to bounce back. Serena Star helped me overcome that goal.

Through Serena’s extraordinary vision, I was able to portray a fairy in a way I had never experienced before. She made it relaxing, soothing and liberating to completely not worry about what I looked like because the shots she was capturing were leaving us both gleaming with excitement. In my personal heaviest weight, I was able to feel sexy, glamorous and beautiful. Serena made that happen.

My session consisted of makeup and hair by the incredible stylist Raina Torelli, shots with Serena Star Photography and styling which I had complete control over. For me, I thought it would be the outfit that made me appear as fairy, but Raina was able to transform me into a structure I had never seen myself as. I didn’t just look like a fairy, I felt like the light inside me was illuminated and with that experience, Serena captured it magnificently. In those few hours with Serena, I was a fairy.

I was lost in the shoot with Serena, I did not have any insecurities about how I looked or weighed, she was showing me this otherworldly being she was capturing that just made it all the more exciting to try new things. We played around with lighting, textures, different techniques, all things that I had always wanted to experiment with, she made this happen. I had an absolute blast with Serena.

Serena certainly changed my perspective of what I see and what the lens sees. After 9 years of the same business, I learned something that no other photographer had taught me. She taught me to allow my inner light shine and she would capture it for the world to see. That to me was the most incredible experience for me. I feel beautiful. Thank you, Serena. _Lily Lisa

I worked with Serena Star Photography for a boudoir session and she was amazing. For my first time, I was incredibly comfortable. In the days leading up to the session, I was aware of what would be needed and what is to be expected during the session. I hired Serena to shoot a boudoir session for me that served as a birthday gift to my partner. Serena responded to my inquiries promptly and our correspondence was always pleasant. She is professional and accommodating while still remaining wondefully down to earth. My visions were considered intently and a significant emphasis was placed on my satisfaction with the final images. I am a model newly signed with Wilhelmina Models PA, and I must admit that after shooting with the agency photographer I found that I was far more satisfied with Serena's work. In addition, the head booker at the agency selected some of Serena's images to feature on my professional comp card. I highly recommend Serena's work and look forward to shooting with her again in the future. It is a joy every time I look at my girlfriend and I's bedroom wall and see one of my framed boudoir photos. Very happy customer.

Serena and her fellow photographers were amazing. They were so professional throughout my ceremony and reception that i almost forgot they were there. They took 100s of photos and Serena put together the most beautiful album for us. I recommend her for any occasion.

Serena has been my go to photographer for many years. She shot my wedding 2 years ago as well as several other private shoots for me :) She is an extremely talented classic, yet edgy, AMAZING photographer!! We had tons of complements on ALL of our pictures as well as her teams professionalism at the wedding. She has a graceful was of really capturing the moment. 2 years later and we're STILL receiving positive feed back on our wedding photos. Her talents over the years only grow more and more. I can't wait to see what she's doing years from now. My friend just booked her for her wedding as well. HIGHLY recommended!

Serena Star Photography did a fabulous job on our wedding. They were on time and very pleasant to be around for each consultation and on the wedding day. They seemed very out of the way, yet captured every moment as it happened (and yet only appeared in two of the hundreds of pictures taken by guests). Nothing in our wedding album was recreated. They finished all of the family and wedding party portraits after the ceremony in a 1/2 hour (I have not seen the pictures after the ceremony go that efficiently before or since). And, of course, the pictures are stunning. The only problem throughout the whole experience was trying to choose which of the hundreds of gorgeous pictures would make it into the wedding album!
